XtremeMac's XrackNRE2 is a Noise Reduction Enclosure specifically designed for Apple Computer's new Xserve and Xserve RAID. The solidly built XrackNRE2 provides 12U (21.0") of industry standard 19" rackmount space in a desk-height enclosure quiet enough to work next to.
The XrackNRE2 reduces noise by as much as 75%. A reliable forced air circulation system, with 4 Ultra-Quiet fans, assures consistent cooling for your Xserve without compromising the sound dampened quality of the enclosure. The fully adjustable mounting rails allow users to configure their Xrack to fit their individual system needs and feature clear markings for each 1U rack mount space, making installation a breeze.
A built-in cable management system is included to keep cables neatly and efficiently stowed. The XrackNRE2 includes 4 heavy-duty carpet-safe casters. XrackNRE2 features heavy-duty steel construction and a durable finish that matches the Xserve and features a clear glass door that accentuates the elegant design of the Xserve and Xserve RAID.
All of the exterior panels are lined with specially engineered acoustical foam. Each door opening is sealed, and all wire grommets come with foam inserts.
