Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gets the job done I originally purchased this in hopes that it would be capable of packet injection, however, I found there to be two versions upon arrival. The first version (1.0) does support packet injection while version 2 does not. After doing some research I've found that version 1.0 is nearly impossible to come by anymore which is rather disappointing. However, despite not being what I originally intended it to be, the TL-WN722N gets the job done. I'm running a Kali Linux machine and this adapter was literally plug and play. I'm in a dorm housing environment and this has greatly increased my bandwidth and internet speeds despite not being able to change wireless channels. Great value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! I own 2 of these because I used to have 2 systems set up and they both worked flawlessly until I bought a new WD 10EZEX hard drive and now that hard drive won't see the network adapter at all, it keeps telling me to plug in my network adapter even though it already is. I've downloaded all the drivers I could find to no avail. Still a great product in my mind, just wish I could get it installed on my new hard drive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works in Kali You literally need to plug it in and it's working... I spent way too long looking for a way to use the Window's install disk on my machine, when in the end the disk doesn't even matter

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't work in linux Apparently there are two versions of the adapter version 1 and version 2, only version 1 supports Linux. I got the version 2 it doesn't work in linux. I checked in Kali linux and Ubuntu it didn't work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No linux driver! I'm very dishearted that this adapter has no stable linux driver and thats why I'm unable to work with it. For a renowned brand like tp link its a shame! I ask authority to take the issue on account and make possible solution as soon as possible.
