Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Router is AWESOME Ok I'd like to say that I use a Linksys router now is has been a very good router. But I upgraded to this router, my home uses a LOT of Wifi. We have 30 items running over Wifi most all of the time. We have an IP camera system with 7 cameras as well. We stream a lot of video content, We play games, plus always on social media and man can this router keep up!! It has been very worry free, the setup is so VERY easy. I am shocked at how good this router works!!! We had the AC1900 router from Linksys is has been a VERY good router, So we went on and got the AC5400 it was worth it! I would say if you need to upgrade your home router or just want something very worry free this is the one for you. It has an awesome Android and Apple app, that we can control the router from anywhere. It offers usb ports for safe and fast file sharing. 8 Gigabit ports for hardwired networking. The coverage of the wifi is far greater than i expected, I can move freely into my yard and out buildings with out loosing wifi. All in all Both routers from Linksys are great! I could not be happier!! I would say if your looking for an awesome router, this one takes the cake hands down.A Very Happy Customer,-Matt

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Wireless Router I purchased this Router a month ago. Set was easy, it connected right away with an Arris 6183 cable modem to Cox. The speeds are as advertised. Security setup was a snap. I was surprised as to how simple and easy the setup of this router was.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Parental control features; very poor and don't work properly. I purchased an EA9500 router and it works well when reset every 30 days or so. Not a problem with that! Coverage is good. Covers my 2900 square foot home very well. Pretty fast as well. Nice router and would purchase again when it stops working. All features work well except for one. If you want parental control features, don't purchase this router. The parental controls feature are very poor. You can only block 14 devices using the parental controls feature and less than 15 websites per device. For parents, you need to be able to block any website using a key word. There are more than 15 sites that should be blocked. With this router you can't do this. Called manufacturer and they said that they don't have any router that blocks per a key word or works better to block certain sites. This is all that they have. The other part of the parental controls is blocking time of day. This if flawed as well. I have the time to block internet usage at 1am to 6am. However, I try to use these blocked devices other times during the day and it still blocks even during non blocked hours. I have to disable parental controls to allow access the internet for devices with parental controls set and then enable it once again. This is rather easy to do from home or remotely using the app. You can turn off or on parental controls for all devices at the same time or individually.Would not purchase again because of this feature.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good but not worth the money It is a good product but not fantastic as told by Linksys Store Sales on line. There are 6 cons, first is it is huge and you cannot mount it on the wall. Second it is supposed to be for better coverage and range and it works no better than my old E3000. Third if you use MAC filtering there is a limit to the number of devices. I did not have such a small limit on my E3000. Forth is I cannot connect their range extender and they just sent me a second one. The last one is the big price tag. No more cisco connect, now you use either the web or your browser only with passwords.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just Another Router Definitely a home/very small business router. Used to setting up a router to my standards. Once I learned of the restrictions, I forced myself to comply. Since the router was finallly configured, it has performed without issues. The negatives:Cannot use static IP addresses. Limit of 50 devices under DHCP address scheme. Having to pepper support with questions to get to the real truth; e.g., Linksys knows there is a firmware issue with the Network Map feature. Had to turn off IPv6 to stop the router from reassigning IPv4 address to a device that was reserved. The second level support finallly figuring out my Linksys Range Extender was causing a major problem, shut it down, and stability ensued. The positives:Three year support. When finally comfigured - works flawlessly.
