Short Life
Bought the large blank ink tank and package of three regular size color tanks. Low usage but the magenta and cyan tanks indicated 'empty' in short order. Expensive to replace color tanks this quickly, and the printer nags about it every time I print until I do.

Exorbitant Canon Ink Prices
Ink tanks function as to be expected, however, the ink quantity supplied does not justify the exorbitant prices charged per cartridge. For that reason I cannot recommend the Canon ink cartridges or the Canon printers.

High quality but also high ink utilization rate
I have been using the Maxify 1200 cartridges for at least a year or more and am disappointed that the ink runs out so fast. It is a major expense. It seems as if the paper "eats" the ink.

Poor quality color
Color quality is unacceptable. Printing on standard paper shows very different'colors than actual .
