The Dual-Port Wireless Device Server keeps your network mobile while minimizing costly cabling. The server conforms to the 802.11b wireless network industry standard. And operation is transparent to attached. The server's unique serial tunneling feature helps you set up virtual COM ports that are mapped to remote device servers on the network. These virtual ports replace direct serial connections. You don't need a separate modem, either, since the server emulates a dialup modem. It accepts AT commands on the serial port, so there's no need for dedicated modem and phone lines.
