This device saved all of our electronic equipment. We had a huge lightening storm and this surge protector took the full hit and everything is safe except the surge protector. It was fried. I called the company and they said they are sending a new one immediately.

great and good price
This appears to be well-made and, despite what some other reviewers state, the battery seems to be easily removable and replaceable if ever need be. I'm using it solely to keep my home network (ARRIS TG1682G Xfinity Gateway) and security hub (iSmartAlarm CubeOne HUB) running in the event of a power outage. I flipped the circuit breaker to test it and it kept my network/security running for over 2 hours and appeared to still have some juice left when I ended the test. As an added bonus, it also has a single USB power port that I can use in a pinch to charge my mobile phone or tablet. This unit fits my needs for a reasonable price.

Excellent Product
I'm impressed with the surge protector's overall quality. The COAX surge protector didn't negatively affect my antenna signal at all; picture is still awesome! Also, I like the peace of mind provided by APC's $300,000 Lifetime Connected Equipment Protection. If you're looking for an affordable surge protector to protect your home entertainment system you can't go wrong with this product.

Lightning does strike twice.
We had a Non-APC vendor power surge protecting our outside cable coax line and a network cable coming into our house from the outside (my husband does astrophotography in the backyard and needs network connectivity better than wireless.) Well lightning struck the back of our yard and took out BOTH the coax and Cat5e network cable, long with very piece of IT gear we had. It took 2 weeks to get us back up and running with Comcast. I'm hoping this does better. We are using both the network and coax surge protectors and most of the plugs. We are crossing our fingers.

great devices, great protection
I bought this because with some new stereo equipment I wanted to make sure my devices are protected. I picked these because they had the highest available surge ratings. I'm very happy with them, they are robust and well designed.
My one suggestion would be to add the switched outlets that have their power cut when the master device is turned off, in order to eliminate phantom loads.

APC Great Performance
We started out by buying a APC surge protector for our computer. It worked great so we purchased another for our entertainment center with a lot of expensive equipment plugged into it. We had electrical storms & never lost any equipment. Support for help is excellent. We will always use APC surge protectors.

An excellent piece of equipment necessary for any home or business. We have deployed many of these in various locations and have had no failures to this date. It accommodates larger transformers without losing any outlets. In Florida we have frequent lighting storms and this gives us piece of mind knowing we are protected.

Solid performer - lots of options
This replaced a power saving surge protector that was interfering with some of the equipment in our media rack. There are a couple mounting options and the pivoting cord keeps things looking good. The outlets are arranged in such a way that plugs and transformers aren't overlapping, which make the install look clean. We haven't had any outages yet but so far it's been working flawless.
It's a bit bulky but there's really not way around that. Plugs take up so much room...

Ethernet protection died
After 5 months i had trouble with my network connection. After I filtered out everything (modem, router, cable, switch, etc.) i realized that everything works fine if i bypass the APC ethernet protection.
I expected longer lifetime than 5 months.

Very well built, very sturdy and looks great alongside (or hidden) amongst your home electronics. Includes Phone Splitter, Coax, and Ethernet protection too which is great. Definitely appreciate that the outlets are spaced further apart to allow for larger plugs. Highly recommended!
