Too Tight Fit, A Little Slip
My original Pro Keys without a trackpad fit like a glove. It stopped working. I thought I would upgrade, and have a track pad, but I don't feel this one fits my iPad as well. The first one I received, was just flat out too short to do a complete wrap around. Customer Service was great, and sent me out a replacement right away. I received it, and I am going to keep it, but I still feel it only really fits well if I don't have my stylus in the holder. The flap used to close the cover still just doesn't have the magnetic grab of the regular Pro Keys. I also feel like the magnetic hold of the back cover is not quite what it should be, and the back cover slips a bit, which makes me a little paranoid about my iPad slipping out. BUT, the keyboard and trackpad work beautifully.

SOME NICE FEATURES BUT DOESN’T QUITE MEASURE UP TO APPLE MAGIC KEYBOARD
We REALLY liked that this Zagg product protects the ridiculously expensive iPad Pro so well, and really, really tried to use it….really, really wanted it to work out— and liked the fact that the Zagg keyboard has keys that Apple does not, but in the end the fact that the Zagg Pro Keys trackpad does not have tap-to-click and requires a very firm (if not hard) push for a click to select anything….that was the deal-breaker. Also, the device kept disconnecting from the iPad bluetooth, and does not offer the same interfacing/functionality with the iPad. Love that it protects the iPad so well but trackpad was just a little too clunky…we sent it back for refund.

I bought this so I wouldn’t keep losing my apple pencils, it has a nice spot to keep it. Unfortunately it isn’t as stable as the one I bought through apple, the top is too heavy so it tips over way too often. Maybe it just needs a stronger magnet, but it is a waste of money for me.

So far, so good. I actually the fact that I can carry the iPad without the keyboard and it is still protected. I did think it was going to be black based on picture description and there were no color options to choose from. Could have kept the grey.

The two pieces work, but I have no adjustment on the angle it sits. If I am FaceTiming or using the camera it is is useless.

Very disappointed!
I have purchased several Zagg keypad/cases over the years and they have all been great! This one is not! It seems to be a very different design, flimsy and doesn’t stay in place. There is something wrong with the keyboard too. It stops mid sentence, erases itself and jumps to someplace else altogether. I think it might be this built in mouse which I don’t recall having before. I would return it but big hassle from Canada.

Magnet does not hold the keyboard tight.
When it is in the stand position the angle is not correct for the screen and it only has one position.
The pencil holder seems sort and does. It magnetize very well.

It works, but it is a little erratic. I was going to make it my every day carry, but then the keys and trackpad are too frustrating. Now it is in the drawer… I should probably return it.
Your mileage may vary, but for me, this is a no-go.

Touchpad was faulty, I requested a refund and was required to cover my own return shipping. I will probably never by another Zagg Product.

Inconsistent and too heavy
The keypad does not sync well to the iPad It often skips around with the cursor while typing. Also the stand does not hold well when typing. Top part is too heavy and does not stay connected to iPad well. Magnetic portion to the iPad and keyboard needs to be strong. Like the protection and pencil holder but makes it too heavy and bulky. Love this product! The case keeps my iPad secure and the trackpad works and feel like a desk keyboard. For a person who loves having a full-size keyboard handy, this trackpad works is great.

Awful product - Incirrect description and no way to return without spending my own money
The product that I purchased did not fit my iPad Pro. There was no telephone number or website address or any information useful on the shipping remittance to tell me how to return it or even contact the company. After doing my own research to find the number for ZAGG, I made multiple attempts to connect with them through chat bot, as well as multiple telephone calls to the corporate office. I spent at least an hour on hold for a few calls which would never answered by anyone at the company. I ended up having to call the credit card company to refuse the charge because the product description was not correct for its intended use. I’ve used it in the past, and recommended to others regretfully.

I ordered my zagg keyboard direct from zagg because you had the option of “express” delivery which I paid an extra $24 shipping…. I got the keyboard in the same time frame as the retail seller which would have been shipped for free… when I called to voice my concerns about this I basically got “oh well” This maybe my last Zagg purchase

Good product, HORRIBLE shipping!!
The Keyboard/trackpad case seems to be good, but the shipping was awful! I ordered the case along with the 4-pack of replacement stylus points. I was all put into a shipping box that was MUCH too large, but with absolutely NO packing material. So the case knocked around inside this large box, nearly crushing the small box with replacement points, enough that ALL of the points came out and were just loose in the big shipping box. And to top it all off, this oversize shipping box was not even sealed well -- it was open when the shipper left it on the porch!! Even Amazon does a better shipping job!! :-(

I would never recommend
-your advertisement makes the cover appear to hold the ipad above the keyboard similar to the Apple Magic Keyboard. I am quite sure you were well aware of this and proceeded with full knowledge you would be selling these to customers thinking they were buying a product comparable to the Apple product.
- secondly the flap that goes over the pen storage and back to the cover is either very weak magnets or too short of a flap because it does not stay on n place
- the pen charge is too short compared to the
Apple crayon

I like how the case protects my ipad and I love the attached keyboard with the larger keys. I wish there was a better system for the accordion connection stand. The magnetic connection does not always hold the display in place. Also, there is nothing but the magnetic connection to hold the Apple Pencil. There needs to be an elastic band to slip the pencil into to add more secure placement of the pencil so it’s not easy to lose. Overall, I like this product much more than others I have used.

Overall, this appears to be a very well-made unit and is priced good, with that said, I have two major complaint’s!
I like the old style much better whereas you could adjust the screen angle anywhere you wanted it, with this new one there is one position and being that I am tall it’s not a good position for using the unit and viewing the screen.
Also, on the old style, you could have your screen completely disconnected because it was Bluetooth to the keyboard. You could use the keyboard completely separately.
This is a really serious design flaw on two fronts.
Engineer is always want to keep redesigning things, and somehow they screw them up and make them worse not better in this case.

Too floppy - not as pictured.
Replacing my Apple iPad keyboard that started failing. Wanted an upgrade to something a little bit better. This one had great reviews but in use, it was floppy and came apart easily. Only good when typing at a table - not on a lap or in other situations. I have sent mine back as a return. Also, the unit purchased is a different configuration than what is pictured. That is for a smaller iPad.

I have been using the Pro Keys w Trackpad for a few weeks now. This encompasses home use, college, research, and work. This means that it sees a lot of different environments and is taken with me everywhere. I charged the keyboard the evening it arrived and then started using it the next day. It has now been three weeks and I still have over 50% battery with moderate daily use. The keyboard keys have nice travel to them and the trackpad is responsive. Sometimes the trackpad can be a little too responsive, however this can be just me getting used to it over the apple one I have been using.
The only thing that should be considered when purchasing this item, is that it will not allow for charging of your Apple Pencil while the case is on the iPad. Zagg states this in the product page, i believe in FAQ’s. So I new this prior to purchasing. After a week of taking the case off and on to charge the pencil, I went back to zagg website and ordered their pencil, which charges via a usb-c (same charging cable as my iPad) and it has greater than all day battery life. This allows me to charge it in the evening before bed and have it ready for all day use the next day.
Overall, this is a great product that I would recommend to friends and family. The protection level is better than most cases including the apple Magic Keyboard of mine. And the fact that the keyboard uses its on power vs using the iPad extends the battery on my iPad (I don’t know what percent).
