Great Hard Drive

Solid State is the only way to go
I love the solid state drive, having 500gb instead of 20 makes a big difference. I needed help from Dell customer service. If you seek help from them please make your purchase through them. It's only fair. The HD did not have matching mounting holes, so I had to use tape to secure it. Thanks, Dell

Cheaply Made
The SATA port broke immediately...Poorly made - cheap plastic. And the migration software is not good. I returned it and bought a samsung EVO... Easy to install - easy migration and it works well

A good investment
I have found Western Digital equipment to be reasonably priced and highly reliable. I am using these drives to update some older I7 desktops to improve performance and keep them operational in the work environment. Recommend.

Great product!
I have installed about a dozen of these SSD drives over roughly the last year. They make such a difference in access speed on the computer that if a computer comes in that is three or more years old I just go ahead and swap out the drive and reload the O.S. and all the other software. I have had no issues with either installation, which couldn't be easier, or drive reliability. I would highly recommend these to anyone.

Decent and reliable
Back in the day when hard drives were mechanical and you could hear the thing spinning up from across the room, how it was susceptible to vibrations that would crash the heads into the platter and leave a divot bigger than the one you left in your last golf outing; solid state drives are the game changer. No mechanical parts, no waiting for platters to spin up and no longer do you have to worry about upset managers pounding on their desk transferring their stress into those spinning platters. We have been replacing those mechanical beasts with these WD Blue SSD drives. These drives are in all sorts of environments and so far not a single failure. The performance increase is immediately noticed when compared to the old mechanical drives. The price is decent and the product has been reliable. What more could you ask for?

Simple and Fast!
These drives are awesome! They are a seamless replacement to the SATA spinners. I've purchased many recently and will not hesitate to get more. They're recognized in everything I've put them in so far.

Now our standard replacment drive
We just replaced about a half a dozen computers in the customer service department. their old machines were 4th gen i7 with 7200 RPM spinning disc. After labeling the old drives and placing them on a Shelf, we installed the new SSD’s and re-imaged the machines to be redeployed to other departments, It was rather surprising how much performance Improvement the SSD's made

Noticable speed increases.
Use with the WD diagnotics tools as well. Great product for the price.

WD SSD - Best Bang for Buck
Currently replaced all the users laptop HD with this and it has improved workflow tremendously.
There comes a time when the OEM hard drive that the laptops come with need to be replaced and if you are need of a good, reliable HD and on a budget then this SSD is what you need.
