Rated 5 out of 5 byNYMacUser from Not MAC compatible unless you pay for an APP etc.This may be an excellent drive but in you have a MAC be aware: I found that I need to buy, download, install, and keep up to date an app that would allow a MAC to write on the device.

I do not even know it is working in the background and my computer runs normally with no speed slow down. It is a nice compact size too.I have only owned it for about a month and so far so good!

The USB 3.0 interface provides excellent performance in transferring large quantities of data rapidly. The small form factor makes them easy to handle and external power is not required. The reliability is excellent and a 3-year warranty provides additional peace of mind. The only complaint is the redesigned case makes it harder to apply tracking labels and bar codes.

Rated 5 out of 5 byMJWIPG from Western Digital has a winner here!Right out of the box there was no problems. It was plugged in and in less than 2 minutes was collecting data. It's quite, fast and seems very reliable, which is why I always buy WD.
