The VisionTek HDMI / DVI-D Bi-Directional 2 meter (6 foot) cable enables you to connect your HDMI-equipped source devices such as Laptop, Desktop, Blu-Ray, Xbox One, PS4, Roku, DVD, and Set Top Box to your DVI-equipped HDTV, Display, Monitor, or Projector. As a bi-directional cable, you may also connect DVI-D sources to HDMI displays, projectors or TV's in Full HD 1080p or tackle your most demanding software applications across multiple displays. The 2 meter (6 foot) cable allows ample length so you can configure your desk or presentation display however you want. The HDMI / DVI-D cable is fully compatible with all HDTV formats, supporting resolutions at 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1600x1200, and 1080p.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect solution This was the perfect solution for my very old, but still good monitor. I have 2 old, but still good monitors and just recently purchased a new desktop. Problem is that the desktop came with one HDMI and one VGA port. The older monitor had the DVI-D/HDMI slots so that I could use the HDMI port on the computer, while the VGA worked for the other monitor. So now I have a 2 monitor set up at home and at work.

I have an Insignia TV, about 32" that I don't use much, so I looked at the connections (I know nothing about tech) and this is the video cable that fits from desktop to TV. Cheap and easy solution, and lo and behold, it works! Good price, shipping, etc, works and I'm happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement cable solved problem with 2nd monitor stability. When I purchased my current laptop the Video output connection for a 2nd monitor was HDMI. I bought an HDMI to VGA adapter from HP to connect the exist Dell 2nd monitor. It was not reliable. The VGA end did not provide hole for the VGA cable tightening screws. Any bump or touch disturbed the connection, and I would have fiddle with it to stabilize the monitor display. With new cable, no mor problems!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cable's fine, Reason For Needing It Is Not The cable is fine. Its the fact that I needed this cable to set up dual monitors on my new computer is what irks me. The cables provided with the monitors are too short and one of them needed an extension so this cable filled that purpose. The Radeon video card should have provided more ports as did the Radeon card on my old XPS410.
