This Tripp Lite surge suppressor is designed to provide safe, reliable surge protection in harsh environments. A high 3900 joule rating can protect connected equipment against even the strongest surges. 8 outlets protect connected equipment against damaging surges, spikes and line noise. Convenient transformer outlets accommodate multiple transformers without blocking other outlets. A 7.62 m (25-ft.) grounded cord with integrated cord clip reaches distant outlets. A lighted on/off switch with integrated circuit breaker provides power control over connected equipment. Breaker protects against dangerous system overload. Protected LED confirms that connected equipment is being protected. 4 safety covers shield unused outlets from debris and accidental contact. Well-designed for many different uses
I've been very impressed both with the build quality of the units I purchased, but also the utility. Typical surge protectors are thoughtless when it comes to cord management, environment, etc. and whatever team designed this product clearly knew what they were doing!

Built stout for backstage work, long cord, great price
Most surge suppressor that I have used, have not survivied a season of backstage activity. Long cable runs to reach keyboards and such are hard to find, esp. with boxes that can handle a higher voltage hit. Our area's AC power supply is very irregular and with frequent lightning strikes, good protection is a must. The Tripplite 825SA gives us all we need.

Wonderful product.
I am using this for my business and LOVE the various outlets and space. What attracted me most of all, though, is the coverage should any of my equipment short out.
