I bought this a month ago so I could vidio with my children out of state and so glad that I did. This does a great job of sending pictures and vidios. I highly reccommend this to all my family and friends

Works well
This Webcam is super easy to install, it has good picture quality and no lagging. It's also easy to travel with, when your someone who works at home and in the office. I bring it along with me wherever I go because it's so convenient.

Good Investment, works for me!
Very happy with this product, I thought my old webcam was good but this is so much better. I participate in Zoom meetings with the Master Gardener program, WSU on line classes and OSU on line classes. It is so user friendly right out of the box as a plug and play, love the 1080 HD and I did not know the 88 degree field of view was so good. The manual focus works and the mounting clip also works good. I would have given 5 stars but the Spy Guard clips over the lens and limits the downward movement and sideways movement due to its size, it also partially covers the red light indicating the unit is on. I just turn the camera up so it is pointing at the ceiling when not in use. Works for me!

Simple to use
This is a pretty decent webcam. It was very easy to set it up took just a few minutes. The video quality is ok definitely not the clearest picture but it is great video chatting with friends and family.

Awesome video
This was by far the easiest computer accessory to install ever. It was just a plig n play scenario. It booted right up. I'm told my voice comes across so much clearer then my old set up and I will say my picture is light and day better. No complaints here.

Great webcam!
Easy to use with a compact design and it has an integrated microphone too. The resolution is crisp at 1080p so you get nice and clear video. And the camera can rotate if you want to aim it somewhere other than straight ahead.

Solid Hardware! A good basic choice
A good basic choice for "set it and forget it".
I am using this camera on Windows 11.
Installation
Installation was very easy. As soon as I plugged it in, Windows 11 instantly recognized it as "HD Web Camera". However, you need to make sure you restart the system after installing, to make sure it's recognized by any apps you are using it with.
Camera Hardware
The cable is a bit shorter than I would like, however I have my monitor on a desk and the computer is under the desk and I use a cable run to keep things off the desk. Another 6 inches or so would have really been nice.
The picture as is, looks pretty good. From looking at myself on the screen, it seems a bit pixellated on full screen (28" side), and a slight bit of jitteriness. But at smaller size screens or in a window'd view it's just fine. The people I've talked with using the camera didn't notice any problems.
The default brightness is sensitive and the contrast is sharp. The camera's angle of view is wider than I thought. Wide enough that if you like walking around, you'll still be view inside the average-sized bedroom.
However, the detachable Privacy Blocker has a few problems. It's not very secure on the camera. Flipping it up and down (to cover/uncover the lens) 1-handed is enough to dislodge it. It appears as though it's only held in place by tension. The other big issue is that the red "recording" light is situated very close to the lens and is almost completely covered by the plastic blocker. This means that if you are looking at the camera head-on, you can't see if it's recording or not.
The recording microphone seems to work just fine--the people I talked to had no problems hearing me speaking in a normal face-to-face tone and volume.
Software
There is no additional software that comes with the camera, so whatever your operating system has native when it comes to controlling webcams is what you have to use. For example, in Windows 11 the only thing I'm am able to control with this camera is "brightness". But again, the camera's default settings seem to work pretty well so I don't see this as a problem.
Again, restarting the computer before using the camera seems pretty important to making sure it works with whatever app you are using.
The only real problem I noted was that the camera sporadically still shows the red "recording" light after I've ended a call.

Amazing picture!
The Targus webcam pro is just what I needed to make my meetings look professional. It was super easy to install and is very easy to use. I finally have the right camera to record myself for my YouTube videos and talk show!

This is a great webcam!
This is a really great webcam and it is so easy to use! It’s a 1080p hd camera and can work with windows, chrome os and mac os. I love that it can rotate so it’s available for viewing whatever you would like in the space you are in. It also has spy guard protection cover. It works with a simple usb plug. It can also be used on a tripod! I enjoy using it to talk with people and prefer it over other chat forms!

Very easy to use!
Great reliable product. I've never had a portable Webcam before and this has made work calls so much easier. I don't have to guess where the video is pointing, I don't need so much space and I can move it easily if I need to.

Wonderful for my Home Office
I was looking for a good and reliable webcam for my at home office when I tried Targus HD Webcam Pro. It attaches easy and has stayed on without falling off. The clarity is crisp and I have had no complains thus far. A great reliable webcam that is small enough to transport on the go.

Security feature
I’ve been a remote worker for over a decade but have never had more virtual meetings than over the past 3 years - like most office workers. The older I’ve gotten, the more I’ve noticed I need a better webcam. This Targus product works well, was easy to set up and I really like the added security of the lens cover.

Best webcam I’ve used
I’ve worked remotely for the last 6 years, and have tried multiple webcams over the years, including other Targus models. This one is by far the best. I LOVE the fact that I can cover the camera when not in use. The camera is more stable on my monitor than others I’ve tried also. It is easily adjusted to fit multiple monitor sizes. The picture quality is also outstanding, the photo uploaded doesn’t do it justice. It’s connected by usb, and the cord stays behind the camera so it doesn’t get in the way of my screen. Absolutely recommend this to anyone needing a webcam for work or any other reason.
