I received a Targus - Dual Mode Antimicrobial Laser Presenter with Timer for free in exchange for my honest review. This presenter connects with both Bluetooth and wireless, which makes it compatible with different kinds of devices and can be used in multiple business settings. It is easy to use, and it connects quickly. I used it in a 180 ft.² conference room and the connection is reliable, I did not experience any glitch. I like that it has a LCD screen, which has a timer. And it vibrates when the set time is up. It’s also equipped with a encryption feature, which helps prevent hackers from interfering presentation. Another important feature is that it is finished with a protective anti-microbio coating. I am not a professional, and I don’t understand how this coding works but it is good to have because we all care more about hygiene and cleanest these days. The only thing is that the price of this presenter might be on the high point. I really appreciate those additional features but I am not quite sure if it’s $80 worth.

So great.
I do a lot of presentations. So my remote always wares out, breaks or doesn’t work with my current computer. This one is fantastic. It is easy to use and I love the laser. It is sturdy, and I think it will last a long time. It works with my computer too.

I am a teacher who really needed this! The laser is really powerful and easy to use! You do not have to press the laser button down very hard at all to make it come on. I love that this device comes with batteries. The fact that the USB adapter stores in the bottom of the device when it is not being used is really handy. Set up is also very easy! Make sure your laptop has enough USB ports if you are using other USB accessories simultaneously. I LOVE the factor that there is a timer function because it allows me to progress through my presentation with getting behind on time. The device vibrates in your hand when the timer goes out so don't worry about any surprising noises!

Excellent features
This laser presenter is perfect for meetings, teaching, and presentations. It is super easy to connect with bluetooth or the included adapter that has a handy spot on the back of the remote so you don't lose it. After connecting, it worked right away with my PowerPoint slides. The left and right buttons work well along with the shut off screen and leave slide show buttons. I really like the black screen button for a quick way to turn off the screen if needed. The times buttons on the side are also easy to use if you want to see a time countdown on the LED screen. Two issues I have with this is that the vibration signaling when the timer ends is not very strong so you can easily not notice it. Also, the buttons do not give much feedback so it can be difficult to tell if you actually pressed them. These are not major problems, but they were surprising.

An Indispensable Tool For Presentations

I don’t know how I ever survived without the Targus - Dual Mode Antimicrobial Laser Presenter with Timer. I’m a teacher coach and I spend my days presenting to faculty and staff. A presenter is necessary, but this one with a timer is an absolute must!

I’m on the road a lot doing presentations and needed a laser pointer that I can easily set up and use. This works great! Allows me to point at specific things from long distances and have never had a single problem getting it to work. Overall, very satisfied

The Dual Mode Antimicrobial Laser Presenter is a life change. Its sort of hilarious that it’s 2023 and I’ve never used a laser presenter, but its amazing. I love that it is wireless and includes a timer. The Bluetooth connectivity and wireless connection is what I’ve been waiting for. The automatic sleep/wake and vibrating alerts are key components that I love. The red laser pointer makes it easy to emphasize key slides when presenting and its compatible with Windows/Mac/Android, Ipads. I purchase another one for my sister. As a school administrator, I’ll never be without this presenter again. It makes my staff meetings seamless and productive.

I got this over a month ago and this laser pointer is awesome. It comes with an usb port so you can hook to your device and work the sides you are showing. This is great for meeting and any type of presentation your doing. Great product.

Great presenter!
I'm a teacher and I love this presenter. It serves its purpose well with the timer function, laser, and easy functionality. It is slightly strange that there isn't an on/off button but it seems to sleep/wake as needed so I'm hoping battery life is sustainable.

Does the job
We're Jr. Church teachers as and had been looking for something to use while we walk around the classroom while we teach. This works great. It was a bit hard to connect to the laptop as the light never started to flash to connect it via Bluetooth. Once I put the dongle in it responded right away. The only thing that would make it better would be the ability to scroll and click on tabs to change between web pages so no matter where in the room we are we could flip from songs to the lesson to any videos we found.

The Targus Control Max Professional Presenter is a handy, functional tool that is great for teachers, students, church leaders, and business professionals.
As a daycare owner, I am finding it useful to use for PowerPoint parent-teacher meetings.
It is a wireless presenter with dual connectivity (Bluetooth or 2.4GHz wireless connection), red laser pointer, and timer.
It has good security with a USB receiver that supports AES 128-bit encryption. That prevents hackers from taking over your presentation or downloading viruses onto your device!
If multiple people share the presenter, it good to know that it has an Antimicrobial infused protective finish. By keeping the surface cleaner, it protects the presenters, and helps to prevent the growth of microorganisms.
I like that it's not bulky, and fits well in hand. The USB adapter stores at the base, keeping it accessible.
The device includes a red laser pointer to use to emphasize key points of the presentation.
You can move around the room using this device since it works up to about a 65 ft. range.
The LCD screen timer with vibrating alerts keeps me on pace, and allows me to use my time efficiently, without a distracting loud alarm. I like it because I've had a slight hearing loss for most of my life and I can't hear many high tone alarms, but the vibrating buzz in my hand is perfect.
Two AAA batteries are included and it has an LED low battery alert. The batteries seem to last a long time, yet, it's a good idea to have extra AAA batteries on hand.
The intuitive controls help me to make presentations effortlessly.

Works well!
I do many presentations at hotel meeting rooms and the Targus laser presenter is very reliable and versatile. Long lasting better life. Simple and easy to set up and use. I have a Mac but it looks very universal.
Only comment is that it is well sealed so you need scissors or knife to open the packaging.

Great for presentations
Using this for our church and our power point presentations and music (lyrics) slides and it works great. Smooth running, clicks and moves to next slide with no issues. Has laser for use while using a slide to point out certain areas of interest. Antimicrobial is a huge plus with more than one user. Has a sleep wake feature so if you forget to shut off it will automatically turn off to save on battery. Also comments via Bluetooth.

Very Useful
This pointer is great because it has a timer that you can utilize to assist when presenting something. The pointer vibrates at certain intervals to remind you of the time.
The laser works well and the USB is a nice option if you don't have WiFi available.
The pointer is comfortable to hold and lightweight, too.
