Great features and keeps me and my laptop safe
I love this backpack! It fits my laptop securely and has padding in the sections around it to keep it safe. I also love the microbial aspect of it. I feel like whenever I travel there's a risk of germs getting on all my stuff, but feel protected with this backpack. I also enjoy the extra storage space that comes along with the backpack. This is a perfect backpack for taking your laptop on the road with you or traveling.

Spacious, Sturdy, Handy Backpack
I'm extremeyl happy with this product.
It contains a main backpack, with two detachable bags attached to the front of the main backpack (see photos).
The main backpack is extremely spacious without being bulky at the same time. There are several layers and separated spaces inside of it. You can EASILY fit any laptop with any size inside of it.
The two extra bags are a super nice addition and wil come very handy. Compared to the size, they contain considerable space as well.
The product build seems to be great and is feels sturdy and well put together, giving the impression of lasting for a long time.
Overall, I highly recommend this product if you're looking for a bag for a 15-17" laptop.

Large BackPack
This backpack has so many wonderful features. I especially love the antimicrobial qualities. This is great because many times bags can get musty if even a tiny bit of moisture gets inside. There are countless compartments inside and outside the bag, including two detachable compartments. This pack is actually like a mini suitcase. It would be great for a weekend or overnight trip.

I got this for my husband for his work travel. He was very surprised with how much this backpack can carry. So much room! I appreciate the fact that it's Antimicrobial. Especially since the pandemic. The design is flawless and the zippers are high quality. This pack should last many many years as the craftsmanship is unmatched from other backpacks I've bought him for work. Incredible backpack! This backpack has an amazing amount of space, is comfortable to wear, and the little detachable pouches are the cherries on the sundae. I have to travel somewhere but I couldn't take my laptop with me now I can take my laptop anywhere I travel it's safe and comfortable and the sides of my back feel better now sometimes I had to travel without my laptop but that's okay I can put stuff that I need important in this book bag like my tablet I would recommend this to anyone

This could be a great bag
So I love the modular pouches but what's stopping someone from stealing them as you're walking? or on a bus/train? Seriously, they're just Velcro? what were you thinking?
The Straps are ugly as sin, just make them as comfortable as possible, extra padded, make them stowable, this is what people are looking for.
Anti-Bacterial? nobody cares about that, just use a water-resistant material and make it durable. Also make sure the laptop compartment is waterproof or include a rain cover.
The rest is pretty good

Broken After 1 Month and I Have to Pay to Replace
I purchased this bag on August 5th since it was the only option that could hold my two full sized laptops and new iPad Pro. I opted to stick with Targus as my CitySmart EVA bag lasted several years without issue, but just couldn't fit my new larger iPad. I need this for work as I fly weekly and need to bring both computer and iPad. I purchased this directly though Targus. I was initially very happy with everything. The organization was top notch and the comfort was greater than my CitySmart bag. After less than a month of use (I had to wait about a week from ordering until delivery) and the front accessory pouch was failed at the stitching seam. I reached out to get a replacement via warranty. I figured it would be no issue to have them send me a new front pouch. Now it turns out I have to pay to return the entire bag and then wait 4-5 for them to process and then the additional shipping time to send it back. I asked to get an advanced replacement so I'm still able to do my job. Customer service wasn't rude, but they just sent their standard warranty policy to me again and don't seem to budge even after clear manufacturer defect with a product a month old. I offered to give them a credit card to hold to ensure they get the defective item back, still just sent their warranty policy. I'm just quite upset that after purchasing one of your most expensive bags I have to be further put out paying to return the defective item, and either have to buy a temporary replacement or miss out on work while they take their time to process. I understand things break, but after such a short time I was really hoping I would get better customer service.

Little big for my liking
I got it for my husband and although its a lot bigger than i originally expected it to be, but it holds up quite well and lots of different things can be carried in it including laptop, charger cable, mouse, other eletronic items you need for work.

The Targus - 15-17.3” 2 Office Antimicrobial Backpack is wonderful! This backpack has so many great organizing features
Most importantly, it has great pockets for laptops, tablets and keyboards. All of these pockets are super padded to protect electronics. It also has pockets for wireless mouse, headphones, cell phones, pens and more. The backpack is of high quality material and is definitely built to last. I highly recommend this product.

Very spacious!
This backpack has all the space you need to take your office on the go. It’s bigger than many out there but very padded. I feel my laptop and iPad are well protected. The backpack is comfortable and doesn’t slide down your shoulder. As for the antimicrobial…it’s a plus considering how many places I set my bag down.

Best computer bag
This have to be the best computer bag. This bag is great for students, office, and anyone has a computer. It holds three different size of computer 13.3, 15.6, and 17.7 which indicates inside the bag to give the best support for the device. Also, this bag can hold a lot of stuff, it's has compartment and zippers for days from deep to shallow. The two front pockets are detectable, can be switched position (rather you want the small bag on top of bottom or the larger bag on top of bottom with Velcro staps- see pictures, can be used separate if you wish. This computer bag is waterproof and has antimicrobial protection. I highly recommend getting this bag and don't look no farther. By the way it's lightweight and built to last.

Sturdy and safe for computer
Where to begin on this, my husband absolutely loves this backpack for his to go laptop and work computers. He loves placing his computer items in it and raves how easy and accesible everything is. Also if you drop the backpack or set it down it has slings at the bottom of it to avoid computer breakage. He’s a day trader and having his computer in working order is a must. I highly recommend

Great features! Fantastic backpack!
I’ve been so happy to have this backpack to use! It has a TON of space, so it fits all of the items I want to carry back and forth to the office or on a work trip. I also love the removable cases on the front of the backpack, as well as the covering hidden on the bottom for rainy days. I highly recommend this backpack to anyone thinking of purchasing it. I really like this backpack!
I originally picked this backpack out for my mom because she wanted a bag big enough to fit her large 17 inch laptop. It had way too many pockets and was too heavy for her, so I tried it out. I like it a lot.
Pros:
1. The detachable front pockets were the best! One of them holds a ton of stuff. I was able to fit 6 power cords, 2 batteries, 2 docks, 1 power cube and 1 hdmi cord.
2. I like that there are separate tablet and laptop holders.
3. It has a nice rain cover.
4. It has a slide pocket for a roller bag.
5. It has a ton of pockets, but it takes a long time to get used to.
6. The straps are comfortable (see con #1.
7. It does fit a large 17 inch laptop. Some bags we’ve purchased that say they fit a 17 inch laptop have not fit the laptop. This is not true for this backpack. The large laptops do fit.
8. There’s pictures and even instructions printed on the bag to describe the different pocket uses.
Cons:
1. It’s awkward to put on because of how thick the straps are.
2. The sling for different sized laptops is weird. At first, we couldn’t even figure out what it was for. I understand people with smaller laptops could find it useful, but it just seemed odd to me.
3. Some pockets don’t have good uses. They have one marked for a mouse pad and a keyboard but most people don’t travel with these.
4. It can get heavy for people not used to carrying a larger back pack.
Overall, I really like this backpack and I definitely recommend it.

Tons of storage space!
Targus thought of everything when designing their antimicrobial backpack! There’s tons of room inside to store all of the accessories that accompany my laptop and plenty of pockets. I love that I don’t need to worry about my tech getting damaged if I get caught in the rain thanks to the hidden rain cover. Speaking of hidden pockets, there’s several secure pockets scattered throughout the bag perfect for storing smaller important items. One cool thing is that the front pouches are removable! They’ve even gone as far as to include a listing on the inside of all the different features and pockets so you don’t forget any!

17.3-inch laptop? This is your backpack!
Because of a previous review on this website, I was a little hesitant to purchase this backpack. The modular design is actually quite appealing. The additional pockets are attached to the bag with velcro, but they are not as easy to remove as you might expect. Furthermore, it is difficult to tell from the outside that these pockets are attached to the bag with velcro. If you're concerned that they'll be stolen while you're out and about, simply cover your backpack with the included rain cover.
Another advantage of the modular design is that I can attach a camera pouch to the additional loops near the bottom. I simply looped the strap around the bag loops and had the bag, extra pockets, and a camera pouch all in my backpack.
I could fit a 17.3-inch laptop (with its bulky, heavy charger), a 13-inch laptop, a tablet, a gaming mouse, a full-size keyboard (without palm rest), an external hard drive, a small umbrella, a 20,000 mAh portable charger, and still have room for more stuff in the backpack.
Even with all of the items mentioned above, I found the straps to be comfortable. The strap pockets are excellent for storing sunglasses and facemasks. Other small items, such as charging cables, can also be stored in the pockets.
I would have preferred a water-resistant fabric over an anti-bacterial one. The backpack does, however, include a rain cover that is tucked away in the lumbar pocket and is very useful.
Another thing I would have changed is the main laptop compartment to make it TSA friendly, but that would have interfered with the SafePort Sling, which was one of the features that drew me to this backpack in the first place.
Given the amount of space available, the backpack is on the larger side. If you have a large body frame like mine, the backpack will look normal on you, but if you care too much about appearances and are on the smaller side, it may appear oversized for you.
Overall, the backpack feels sturdy, and it has enough padding in key areas to protect your valuable electronics. I spent weeks looking for backpacks that could hold a 17.3-inch laptop, and this one fits it perfectly. I am extremely happy that I got this backpack.

Commuters dreAm!
Now that things are back in action full force, I may start commuting into the city for work in the near future. This backpack is literally a perfect combo to packing my work essentials (laptop, cellphone, charging cords, file folders) in a non bulky way AND has antimicrobial features to fight off all the crap a subway has to offer. It’s compact and super clean looking, really professional.

Great bag
This is a great bag. It has plenty of room for a variety of things. This is my go-to bag for heading to the Disney parks as it can carry everything literally. Its pretty thick and not cheaply made. It's very durable and can carry a nice weight in it. I do not have ot worry about packing it too much as its perfect for everything.
