I have been pleasantly surprised at the protection this offers, and I do love how much easier it is to use the touch screen with this screen protector. I definitely recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would by this product again While I gave this five stars, it's really a reflection of previous Speck glass. Installation is typically a breeze with jig. Ensure however that the glass is properly aligned with jig before removing adhesive backing. I got complacent with the current only to find out that it was misaligned. Had to reset glass "by hand."

I was really worried about messing this up because I had never done it before but the instructions were very clear and simple. I had a new screen protector 2 minutes after opening the package.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Master the directions for application ... This is my first use of a glass shield on my phone, so I wasn't exactly savvy about doing the application. But I (mostly) figured it out and followed the directions closely ... and OOPS! I put it on upside down! (which renders swiping up on the face impossible.) In spite of directions not to take it off and reapply, I did carefully remove it, turned it around 180 degrees, and successfully reapplied the shield. I don't recommend making this mistake and correcting it: my suggestion is to follow the directions very carefully and be sure of your phone's orientation. Now I'm happy with the apparent quality of this face protection and how non-intrusive it is for phone functioning. Combined with the Presidio case I also purchased, I feel very satisfied that my phone is unlikely to suffer a device-ending crash.

There is no disconnect from touch the screen to the phone responding, which I've run into with other screen protectors. I think my favorite part was the fool proof jig for adhering the protector to my screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved my screen within the first hour. Within an hour of place the new protector on my phone, it was put to the text. I do not have a full case on my phone just the protector and the LootLock attached to the back. Within the hour my phone slipped out of my sweatshirt onto a bare unfinished concrete floor, bouncing on two of the screen corners. The drop was about 24" and the screen protector took all the impact leaving minor cracks & chips on the two corners of the protector, only noticeable when the screen is off. The screen protector was one of the easiest installs I have had yet to date. I was skeptical as it looked too easy but just follow the instructions and it will go on smooth. It is by far one of the clearest and smoothest screen protectors I have used most of the time I cannot even tell it's there which is the goal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed by a respected vendor As a service tech for an Apple VAR, I successfully installed literally hundreds of screen protectors from many vendors. Speck was our main partner for cases and screen protectors. This phone has a Speck case on it, as do both our laptops. But I was unable to install this shield without air bubbles. Top right corner was bent, preventing it from lying flat. It's in the garbage can right now.

From normal wear and tear drops - there are two tiny chunks taken out of the "protector" and a small crack in my screen. I've had cellular phones since the early 90s - have NEVER had a crack in my screen until now. Do NOT buy this. It's terrible. I never review products, but it's THAT bad that I felt compelled to.

However, the cloth left fibers that got stuck under the glass which are now going to remain until I replace the screen protector. There are also bubbles under the glass which I cannot get to disappear. I like the quality of the screen protector.

I have always used speck cases on my iPhones iPads and MacBooks and bought this screen protector with high hopes that it would work as well as my cases. I was sadly mistaken. The screen cracked within days and had little use and one very minor drop. It also bubbled and didn't fit properly. I will be switching back to my zagg screen protector. Don't waste your money like I did.
