I will alwyas buy Speck products because they have never let me down and always protected my devices (even when I left my phone on the top of my car one time and it fell off on the highway!).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bring back the old style with the rubber grip! Ive used presidio grip cases on other phones and absolutely loved them; by far the best case I've ever had. I just recently upgraded to a Galaxy S22, and the first thing I did was order a new Speck case for my phone. Upon receiving the new case I was extremely disappointed to realize the case is completely different than the old ones. The rubber grips that actually made the phone feel secure and slip-resistant in my hand are now gone and the case is basically impossible to remove from the phone without feeling like I'm going to break the case or phone. I've had the case on my phone for over a month now and I'm so disappointed I'm now looking for a different brand to use. Bring back the old design!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect case I bought my first Speck case 2 phones ago and have never looked back. They are amazing! I work in a warehouse and have dropped my phone countless times. The case has always taken the brunt of the fall, without cracking or breaking. The phones have always come through unscathed. I should note here that with any Speck case I've had, if I do drop the phone, it's not because it slipped out of my hand. The side grips are the game changer for me. This case is proving to be just as great as the previous models I've had. If you buy one, you will not be disappointed. The only complaint I have is that this model does not have much forcolor chosice. Please add some "pretty" colors and patterns with pink, purple, etc!

He mentioned the 13 foot drop protection as the selling point. I went home with my new phone and immediately ordered this case directly from Speck. The fit is perfect with all phone ports accessible. I like the raised edges that give additional screen protection. The ridges on the sides and the back give a very secure feel. I bought the case in Coastal Blue / Black / Storm Blue and love it. I would buy this case again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bring Back the Rubber Grips I have been using Speck cases on my Samsung Galaxy S7 for about the last six years. I absolutely love the Speck Candy Shell case! The raised rubber grips made the phone feel very secure in my hand and reduced the chances of dropping my phone. Also I could set my phone down and not have it slide off of things. The times I did drop my phone it was very well protected and never damaged. I just upgraded phones to the Samsung Galaxy S22. The first thing I did was order a new Speck Presidio2 Grip case. I must say I was extremely disappointed. The new design with the built in grips does not feel as grippy as the Candy Shell case and my phone has slid off of things that I lay it down on. I do not feel that this design will help prevent drops/falls with my new phone. After a few days of trying to get used to it, I ended up returning it. The case just did not feel secure in my hand. I am now searching for a new case that compares to my old Speck Candy Shell case. Please consider bringing the Candy Shell case back for the Galaxy S22. Read the reviews on other websites and you will find many other customers that feel the same way that I do. I will be the first in line to buy one if you bring it back!

The 1st two (that I now realize are the CandyShell or Grip style for the Galaxy S7/S9) had grips made out of what seems to be rubber inlayed into the case. Yes, after 3+ years in my pocket, they just started to rub off but it gave you a very safe grip of the phone. You did not worry about it. The new Presidio2 Grip for my S22 does not feel safe. I do not feel I have solid hold on the phone. Will be returning this week. Please bring back the rubber grip strips!!!

When I upgraded to the S22 I thought I would go with a less expensive option. It lasted about 2 weeks before I came to my senses and purchased one of these Speck cases again. Design is so much better.

I tend to keep my phones for about 3 to 4 years, and I have never cracked a screen when dropped...ever! Speck never disappoints.

Bu the best feature is that it has a non-slip texture. So when I pick up my phone, I know I am not going to watch it slip out of my hands. Comes in great colors too! The only down side it the price. If it were a little more affordable, I would buy another just to change the colors.

I only say "appears" because there has not been an occasion to test the level of protection yet. Ridges on the case provide good grip and are easy to clean. Grey color is attractive on a black phone. I recommend the case.
