Heavy duty but too slippery.
The new plastic used is too slippery. Even with the grip it has slipped out of my hand and I prefer the plastic that was used on my last Speck phone cover.

I got this phone case complimentary for my honest opinion. It's by far the best phone case I've owned when it comes to protection. I had an Otterbox for years and have had my phone crack, glass break. Even had the case it self break. This case is far superior. Because of the grips I very rarely drop it. Feels nice in hand. When I have dropped it and didn't crack my screen or even scratch the case. My daughter ran in to me full force and I dropped it on concrete it landed on the screen. Not a crack or scratch and I don't even have a glass protector. This is the brand phone case I will buy from now on. I would definitely recommend this product.

This clear Speck case with grip is excellent!
I've never stopped using the grip version of my past Speck cases. This clear one gave my new phone a good look. I already knew that the grip was hard plastic and not as "rubbery" feeling as past specks because of the clear finish. I was worried that it would not be as good a grip but I wasn't disappointed.

Still producing a reliable, effective product
Long-time Speck user. This newest version of the Grip case is well made and appears sturdy. The product warranty, formerly one year, is lifetime for this new case. This appears to be a trade-off. The new case style has the familiar parallel ridges. However, flat surfaces of the case are now slicker rather than slightly soft and grippy as before.

I used the phone case and I found it to be sturdier than the average phone case, it held up better to drops and did not get many scratches, for me the only downside is the color. I dislike clear cases.

Let's the phone shine through, if you can keep hold of it!
This is a aesthetically pleasing, clear case from SPECK. I received this as a free sample in exchange for my honest opinion.
It is always nice to have a clear case that lets the design and color of the iphone shine through. This is well constructed and easy to keep clean and clear.
Sadly, while the design looks nice, I found it lacking in functionality. While it does have grips, these grips are made of the same slippery material as the rest of the case. These do not work for me, and I had trouble keeping hold of my phone as well as propping it up on a desk.
So if you are like me and need rubber grips, this is not the case for you. But for that, though, I would recommend this case as a nice way to protect your iphone while letting the phone's design shine through.
However, while it was aesthetically pleasing, I ultimately decided it was not something I could use. One of the things I look for in a case is the grip, since I am terribly clumsy. On this, the clear case was a failure. Unlike my prior SPECK case, this one does not have rubber grips and I just found the plasticky grips too slippery, repeatedly dropping my phone, which obviously doesn't work for me. So if that is important to you, then this is not the case for you. But if that isn't important, then this case is otherwise a good choice!

Love the clear design because it still allows you to be able to see the color and design of the iPhone. The ridges also give you a better grip while you hold the phone and add some design. Doesn't feel like it will slip when you have to use one hand to hold your phone. I like that the button areas have a more rubber case so that it's not difficult to press. Some cases don't have that and it can be difficult to press buttons. The only problem I found is that I can't put a pop socket on the back because of the ridges.

I love my Apple phone and hate putting a case on it. I don't want to hide it away so a clear case is key. However, I want/need protection. The Speck case is great. It is clear - very very clear - and protective. I know I have dropped it twice since the case has been on and no issues. The side grips are very helpful to keep it from sliding out of my hands. One of my fears is my phone slipping out of my hands. The grips keep that from happening.

I love Speck cases and have a few others in different colors. The clear case is great for a change, but the grips are not rubber like on the others, so it slides around more. Four stars instead of five.

I would buy this case again.
This latest Speck case continues the tradition of well-made products. Although it is a "grip" model, nothing in the product details mentioned that the case material itself is no longer grippy. The grip bars are nice but I miss the grippy case. Perhaps as an offset, the warranty has gone from one year to "lifetime."

I would NOT BUY this specific product again!
I purchased 2 of these Presidio Perfect-Clear with Grips for my Grandchildrens' new Apple 2020 SE's just before Xmas last month. I/They are very unhappy as even with "Grips" these cases are unusually slippery to hold and with a cheap plastic feel!!
They are nothing compared to my 2 previously purchased Presidio V-Grips with a different grip pattern which is easy and secure to hold, and feels very strong with a rubber like covering.
I would/should have purchased V- Grips again but there was only 1 color available and the kids weren't thrilled with that option only.
I would hope that Speck would allow return of these 2 flimsy ones and find some other Presidio V-Grips in stock to replace with.

Protects my phone, but not what I was expecting.
This case is TIGHT on my phone, which is good since that will keep it from bouncing out. However, compared to the standard Presidio Grip cases (I have one for my old iphone) this case is heavier, slightly larger, and less grippy. The raised ridges are not rubberized, and while they do provide texture to make it more grippy than a completely smooth case, it is not as grippy as the standard ruberized grips. The case is functional, but slightly disappointing.

Great Case
I got this case for free in exchange for this review. But, having said that, it's a very good case. I've dropped my phone several times and it is fine. It is also nice that it's clear. The backs of iPhones are pretty, so why not see it? Overall I think the Speck Presidio is a very nice, sturdy case and I would buy it again. I will say, though, that you should probably still get a screen protector in addition to this case for full coverage.

This phone case snaps right onto my phone easily. The holes are all cut out and lined up perfectly with my camera and side buttons. I love that it's clear so still shows off my phone. I also love the grips, I never worry about it slipping through my fingers when I'm taking a selfie or shooting a quick video.

Strong with great grip
I like that this case is clear, so I can actually see the color phone that I chose. It's also very strong so I have peace of mind that my investment is protected and safe from damage when it gets dropped on the ground or knocked when getting thrown into my purse. The pattern provides a nice grip so that you can hold it easily with one hand and text or check your email, even while at the gym or multitasking. Great case, provides a great sense of security that my phone is safe and protected.

"Clear Helps Appear, but Colors Calm Fear!"
I like my new Speck clear "grips" case for my new iPhone 11 pro plus. Once again these are great fitting cases that offer a boat load of protection. I ordered a clear case to be able to view the color of my new phone however if you are looking for maximum grip capability, I would suggest a colored case. The clear case is made with a harder plastic and does not grip as well as the black case I had for my iPhone 7. Highly recommend the case just be aware regarding the color!

Love the look and feel!
I am so used to this case for my phone now that I can't remember what it was like before this case! It is comfortable to hold and pull in and out of my pocket, and the back of the case makes it less likely to slip if it's sitting on the console of my car. I really like the shape and weight, and can imagine using this case for a long time!

low profile but effective!
I've always struggled finding effective phone cases that weren't clunky and annoying. This one delivers. I have had it for a few weeks now. I am a klutz and have dropped my phone a few times since I started using it, and the case has performed well. Also, it is low profile and fits in my pocket! And I wasn't sure if the grips wuold work for me, but they have been great!!

This is a really solid case. I own many Speck cases and have had lots of them through the years. I know that the brand will generally always give good results. I used this while traveling since I was going to be carrying my phone a lot for photos and maps. Super easy to hold and grip, so if you don't use or like popsockets (the lines get in the way of a good spot for it), this is a perfect case. Works great for showing off my green color on my phone instead of hiding it!

I really liked this case, the grips are a nice touch. I am super clumsy and often drop my phone/it slips out of my hands/pockets, so the grips helped me be less clumsy. Also I love that its clear and it can show off the purple back on my phone.

Speck cases are the only brand that I buy. This case is lightweight and feminine, It covers buttons perfectly and feel like a strong protective case. It is a light shade of pink that allows the apple symbol on the back visible. It has nice grips for my clumsy hands.

Good, lightweight, sturdy case
I bought this for my new Galaxy S20. It fits great and looks great on. Very lightweight and not bulky, which is what I was looking for, having used a bulky Otterbox Defender for years. I wish it were slighly less slippery. Even though it is supposed to have grips, the grips are a little slippery against fingers. I also wish it would have been a little higher over the screen. I'm a little worried that the screen may not be fully protected if I drop it against an uneven surface. I also would have liked it to come in more colors.

I had 2 Speck grip cases in the past and found they really helped with preventing drops of my phone. I bought a yellow IPhone and did not want to hide the cheerful color with a case. I am very happy with the Presidio Clear Grip case. It is not quite as grippy as the opaque cases but much better than a smooth case.

The Speck Presidio Perfect-Clear with Grips for iPhone gives you exactly what you're looking for in a case. Protection against dropping, stylish design and peace of mind. I love the clear case, and I was surprised to learn that if you have the screen on and it's dark, when you flip your phone upside down the clear case sort of glows, it's a very cool look. Compared to my previous iPhone case this case has better grips and more protection against dropping. Compared to my previous case, this case is a bit bulkier, but that comes with the added protection, so it's a good trade off. The benefit of owning this product is that I feel just a little better when I hand my phone off to someone else, if they accidentally drop it I know I have a better chance of not cracking my screen. I would absolutely buy this product, in the clear color. I think it gives a very streamlined look to the case. I would absolutely recommend this product to a friend or family, it's a practical and stylish choice for anyone looking to protect their investment in an iPhone. One thing I learned when I received this product is that the packaging is frustration free. It was easy to open and easy to put on my phone.

Lightweight, clear, and easy to use
This case is perfect if you're wanting a little bit of protection without all the bulk. It has grips on the side and back that make holding it a lot easier. I have the clear case, and I like how easy it is to clean and snap in and off your phone. My only complaint is there is nothing to protect the screen. You may want to invest in a fiberglass cover, otherwise you could still possibly crack it if your phone falls and lands face down.

At first, I wasn't sure I'd like this case. I switched from an Otterbox. I had trouble at first with how slick the new phone case was. Even with the grips, it slid from my hands several times. That went away as I got used to it and handled it more. I love the look of the clear case since my iPhone is coral in color. This is also more slim than my Otterbox case, so I haven't switched back at all.

Worse than the original Presidio Grip
I bought this Clear Presidio Grip for my Iphone 12 mini, thinking it is the same quality as that of my Iphone X Presidio Grip. Was I wrong.
Not only is this case slippery (to hold) all over, the Power Buttons and Volume Up and Down button on the sides of the phone 12 mini are now very very hard to press thanks to this case. It may still offer good drop protection like the old case, but because of the new materials Speck used here, it also made it easier to drop the phone in the first place. How ironic.
I wish they stuck to the old formula / materials. "If it ain't broken don't fix it" should have been Speck's motto, but they just had to reinvent the wheel on this one, and made things worse, sorry to say.

I've had the Speck Clear case with grips on my phone for a few weeks now and I love it so far! I love that it's clear but also has grips. This case not only looks great, but I have dropped my phone several times and it's provided great protection (without being bulky on my phone). Highly recommend!

This case is amazing!!!! It comes in a nice package sealed. It's clear and very durable. I like the ridges on the side and back it help a lot with gripping it. I love that you get to see the color of your phone. The last clear case I had turned yellow in a week. This one is still clear and it's been a few weeks now. I've dropped my phone numerous times and the case has protected it very well. I would recommend that everyone get this case. Those that have the fun color iPhones, get this case to see the colors of your phone while protecting your phone. You won't regret it.

Very Sturdy Clear Case
The build quality on this case is super sturdy and I have no doubt that it's protecting my phone. You would think that the added grip will prevent the phone from slipping but in fact you just feel it more as it slides off your hands. The problem is that the material/texture of the grips are the same throughout the case. Had it been a matte finish texture on the grip ridges then I can see it being an additional protection against slipping. Because of this I have it 4 stars. Regardless if it slips, at least the durability of the material used will prevent damaging the phone.

I really like this clear case. Yes it can be a little bit more slippery than the standard Prisidio Grip case due to the grips being molded out of the same clear plastic as the case but that would be the only way to make them clear. Seems less prone to scratches than precious Speck clear cases. I highly recommend this case If you are looking for a clear case that looks great too!

I've been using this case for about 5-6 weeks at this point. I like it, but I don't love it.
It's protects nicely. I tend to be a bit clumsy, so something that protects well is very important to me. I like the lip around the edges and how snugly it fits my phone.
The area over the volume buttons is a little rigid and can be hard to decompress. The one over the power button is more sensitive though.
My biggest turn off is just how slippery it is! Especially for a phone with grippers. I have frequently had it drop or slide out of my hand or off the arm of the couch.
I do like the case and I like how slim and sleek it is. I love that it is clear and out of the clear cases I've tried, this one is definitely my favorite.

I am loving the protection this is providing my phone! My toddler always grabs my phone and can be reckless with it no matter how hard I try to hide it from him. My phone has been dropped many times without harm while having this case on. I also like how light the case is, it doesn't feel too heavy when I am holding it which is so nice. My other case made my phone much heavier!

This was a gift for my neice. She absolutely loved the color and style. The only reason I took a star off is because on the SE, the side buttons don't totally line up with the openings. Crystal Clear Protection!
I have had many phone cases over the years and this one has really stood out to me. This case has protected my phone very well over the past few months from drops, throws, and just me being clumsy. The grips on each side of the case really make it easy to hold your phone without it slipping out of your hand. It is crystal clear and really lets the color of the phone shine instead of masking it with a yellow hue which a lot of other products seem to do after a period of time. I have had many friends ask me about this case, and I am happy to share with them that this Speck is a great case!

Works with pop socket
Wasn't sure if the case would work with a pop socket, but it does, which is nice b/c my phone holder in my car requires the pop socket.
Speck cases are the best. I've dropped phones a LOT, never any damage to the phone, thanks to the cases. I just wish the selection for the iPhone SE 2nd gen (same as the 7 and 8) were better. Not everyone wants a new phone every 1-2 years. I like the Touch ID and home button.

Solid no frills choice
This is a very sturdy, thick case. I'm not really sure what the grips do exactly but they look nice. I like that it is clear because I have the green iPhone and I like to show that color off. Overall I think this is a great case of you want solid protection and a clean design.

Great Quality Case
I have really enjoyed my Speck phone case. I love that it has the extra ridges for grip and it still looks great after more than a month of use. I work outdoors a lot and I think the case has held up really well and doesn't have normal wear and tear that I've experienced with other cases that have the grips when putting it in and out of a jeans pocket. I would really recommend this to someone who likes to have large phone screen but sometimes has trouble holding on to a slim/slick phone case.

Good but grips on back not as expected
I have purchased Speck cases for my iPhones over the past 10 years and I really like them. I always get the cases with grips and the grips are always a non slip rubber-like material. On this clear version the strip surrounding the screen on the front of the case is a clear version of the non-slip rubber material, but the grips on the back are hard plastic. I'm sure that the phone will be as protected as it is in other Speck products, I'm just much more likely to drop it now. I was a little disappointed by this, especially because of the price.

Good looking case, BUT...
This case looks great, and highlights the actual phone and it's design (you can see your phone's color, etc.). However, the case definitely has different feel than the Speck cases that I'm used to. These grips and the case have a "hard" feel to them, and are a bit more slipperier than Speck cases I've had in the past, and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. Definitely seems to have the same great protection that keeps me coming back to this company. If I replace it, It'll still be a Speck case, since I don't use anything else, but the jury is still out on if this is my long-term case or not....

The Speck Presidio Perfect-Clear with Grips iPhone XR Is an excellent product. I upgraded to this product and would never go back. My old case did not have grips on it. The grips are a game changer and helps keep your phone safer. The clear case helps because my company requires a sticker on my phone and you can't do that with an opaque case. I enjoyed the sleekness of my Speck Presidio Perfect-Clear with Grip iPhone 11 Pro, and found that it protected my phone well, fit it nicely, and offered a sense of "polish." I just wish it didn't look so bland, and perhaps had a pocket or "folder" around it to make the phone case more useful. It's a nice "neutral" clear case, though--anyone can use it and can always put a picture between the back of the phone and case to personalize it more.

I am very impressed with this iPhone case with grips. I am normally someone who needs an extra pop grip for my phone but this is a game changer. I have bought different clear cases in the past but they always seemed slippery and I've even had ones that I wasn't able to stick the pip grip on them. This one is very easy to hold. I especially like that it's very sturdy. I'm terrified of cracking my phone. I can tell this one is going to be very protective.

i like the case and that it didnt have the plasticy feel. but if you are a fan of the presidio grip cases, this one doesnt have the same feel. the grips on this case are the same material as the rest of the case. so i didnt feel like i would have the same sturdy handling on it. the clear was nice though

I purchased this as a replacement for a previous case (that was an a solid opaque peachy pink color) that had gotten dirty over the past few years and didn't clean up. I like the clear case as it is thinner and the color of the phone shows thru. I wanted the grips so the case wouldn't slip out of my hands. There is a tradeoff with the clear vs opaque cases as the opaque cases which are rubbery are less slippery. However the clear case is slightly thinner.

I thought this was going to be a softer, gel like feel case. It's actually a hard plastic. It doesn't feel cheap and the border around the phone is gel which I like. So far so good.

Great case, typical of Speck. It does not yellow as advertised, and I've had it for at least a year now. The grip is great, but still a little slippery in some parts. Now I'm waiting for speck to creat me an AirPod case that works. All AirPod cases I've tried from all companies have been useless.

Love Speck iPhone cases - my husband had a black one on his phone prior to me receiving this sample and I have purchased them in the past for my older iPhones. I love the clear because I have a mint colored iPhone and I was able to let the phone "shine" and still great a great case protection. It is a simple case but effective. Nothing is better than a Speck phone case!
I can never complain about the Speck phone cases. When I don't use them I end up having to repair the ShieldView every few months. So, I finally got smart and went back to Speck! I have since dropped my phone a couple of times and my new phone survived! I will always have a Speck phone case!

Drop proof!
When I got this case, I loved that it was clear. Now I can see the gorgeous purple color of my phone which I don't normally see with other phone cases. Once I put it on, I loved the grips. It made me feel comfortable holding it. But the best part, being the clumsy person I am, I dropped my phone but thankfully....it's still in one piece and didn't crack! Love the speck case and highly recommend it!

Case fits phone well and appears to be well constructed. The grips help to prevent drops especially with one handed use. Have to press harder on button covers to use buttons but based on previous experience this improves with continued use.

Grips are hard plastic, not rubber
Given the other Presidio Grip case for the X? has raised rubber grips, I assumed this case would offer the same...but it does not. The grips are the same hard plastic as the case itself. I understand this might make it more durable...but I was hoping for a silicone/hard shell case hybrid. To me, the grips are not all that grippy, given they're just hard plastic ridges.

While it's sturdy enough to keep the phone safe, it is WAY too slippery! There are finger grips, but those are rough to the touch. The case is a heavy duty plastic; but because it's so slippery it slides in your grip and when you put it down.

A great case that is easy to grip
This is a sturdy, durable and easily held case. I have dropped my phone a few times while using this and it bounced, absorbed all the impact and left my phone without a scratch on it. The ridges make it easy to hold onto and grip on surfaces which I really enjoyed. It is clear so its nothing flashing or exciting, but I put some stickers on it to jazz it up.

This case would be okay for someone who needs minimal protection. It would likely not hold up well for someone who uses it more heavily or is a bit more rough. My son was able to use it and it has held up decent but the corners have some pretty good wear on them.

Crystal Clear Protection!
I love the fact that this case is clear so I can still see my phone while it is still protected! Prior to this case, I used another case but my biggest complaint with my old case was that the edges were too smooth causing several near falls with my phone. This case completely solves that problem! The edges have a very soft ripple that makes my grip worries a thing of the past! I highly recommend this case! It has taken a couple of tumbles and came out unscathed!

Snug fit gives me peace of mind.
The PRESIDIO PERFECT-CLEAR with Grips fits my iPhone 11 perfectly! Although I haven't had it long, I am very hopeful. With my previous case, my phone would slip out and drop, one time completely shattering my screen on the concrete. I have bought Speck cases again and again.
As a customer that has used Speck cases for years protecting my long line of iPhones, I can attest to the quality of these cases. I have torture tested this product on numerous occasions due to my clumsiness and inattention. I have never had to replace a screen because the glass cracked or broke and there have been no phone performance issues due to damage from a fall. Thank goodness the ridges on the the case make it easier to secure in my hand. This particular new case is great because it still has the grip enhancing ridges, is thicker plastic material and the clear plastic showcases the cool red iPhone color. Highest recommendation.

Almost perfect case but has a couple issues
I would give it a perfect rating but it has a couple of shortcomings compared to the Presidio grip cases. The ridges should be softer to get a better grip. It also makes a squeaking noise when you press the phone a certain way. Otherwise it is a great case with awesome protection and it looks great!

Perfect case for my Iphone 11!
I recently purchased an iphone 11, and wasnt happy with the case Iinitially purchased for it because it was easy to slip out of my hands. When this case arrived, I immediately put it on and I have been using it for about a month now. I can honestly say that it is the best phone case I have ever had! I love that its clear so I can see my phone through it, but my favorite part about the case is that the grips make it easy to hold onto my phone and not drop it or have it slip out of my hands. This phone case is such a lovely fit to the iPhone 8 Plus I'm using right now. Has a tight grip like a glove and doesn't slide in and out. Having the SPECK phone case, it protects from dropping and smashing to pieces. I like that there's no discoloration on the sides and dirt isn't able to get onto the case and inside my phone. It's lightweight and has a slim, stylish design. What's there not to love about it?

I returned the presidio perfect clear with grips because it felt like a hard plastic case. I wanted a more rubberized, silicone type case for maximum drop protection. Shopping online for an iPhone case has been difficult because it's hard to identify which clear cases are hard plastic and which are silicone. This item was returned. When I called customer support, they said if I did not have my order number they could not help me. The man argued and raised his voice. Very unexpected and unprofessional.

It's a good case- I got it for my sister, who has Down Syndrome and needs a little help with grip. She's pleased! I may try to apply some rubber to the plastic "grip" bits to make them even more grippy for her, but overall it's quite durable feeling and a reasonable buy.

A better clear case alternative
I was using another clear case for my S20 ultra, but this case is far more superior. The gripped mold makes it feel good in hand. Being it a one piece mold different sections will not get loose over time which is what happened to my previous case. The only concern is that since the case is a clear hard plastic design it may not have any grip on surfaces like a table and may easily be knocked to the floor.

I LOVE this clear case from Speck! I worked at a cell phone company and sold cases along with phones and I have never seen a single clear case that doesn't get yellow... until now! Crystal clear after months of use. Seriously! Not only that but it is holding up well to my toddler's abuse in addition to my own. Both my phone and my case look fantastic- and since the case is clear I can even show off the pink back of my phone! BONUS: it washes easily with soap & water to get rid of those nasty germies!

Overall, I really like this case because it doesn't feel like a flimsy plastic case and does feel like it could protect the edges of the phone. The ridges make it so that it isn't so slick in your hand. Otherwise, it would feel like it could easily slide out of your hands and drop. My main concern is that I wish it had a built-in screen protector. I could add on one I know but I like cases that have the protector built-in.

Beautiful, sleek and durable
This case is really beautiful and very nice quality. It is not flimsy and adheres very well to my iphone. It's actually a little difficult to get off, which to me is a good thing, because I know it is secure. It has a decent "lip" around where the screen is to protect the screen if you drop your phone. Also, the ridges on the back of the phone give it a cool look and provide something to grip on to when you're holding your phone. The flip side to this is that the surface is uneven on the back of the case so it might not be compatible with phone accessories such as pop sockets or adhesive card holders. My only complaint about this case is how loud it is. Ive used rubberized or silicone cases in the past, but this material is more of a hard plastic which makes a loud noise when I set my phone down on a countertop or table. It doesn't affect the performance of the case, but I do feel like it always makes me cringe a little because it sounds like I am slamming it down. All in all, I think this is a beautiful and well- made product. I like that the clear color is crystal clear and doesn't have a yellow tint to it. The ridges provide functionality and style.

Just got a new phone, and had to get another Speck Case! This is my 4th one now (I think) - I've dropped my phone many many times over the years and never had a problem, these cases stand up to abuse (and my husband never had an issue either! The only time he had a screen crack / phone break was when he used a case that wasn't Speck! We are Speck believers for life now lol!). The only thing about this one was the clear back can easily show fingerprints, but I suppose that's to be expected, and I like having the option to see the color of my original phone. Thanks so much!

Great Look and Feel
I was very pleasantly surprised by this phone case. I love that it allows me to see and show off the back of my phone. I have a phone with a light blue backing, and it's nice to have a case that allows me to both protect my phone, but also see what the phone actually looks like. I also really like the feel of the case. The grips on the phone make it easy to hold, without worrying that it is going to slip out of my hand. It feels smooth, yet safe, and easy to use the touch screen of my phone. It's not too bulky, but allows me to feel comfortable and secure that my phone is safe and protected. Overall, I would strongly recommend this case to others.

Durable Case
This case fit my phone tightly. I like the simplicity of the clear case. It is very durable. I tested dropping my phone on wood and tile and there wasn't a scratch on it. My only complaint is that the case is so smooth that it slides easily on a surface, something I especially noticed when I was driving. There are ridges on the back to help grip the phone, but they aren't resistant enough to prevent sliding around on my center consol. Overall a durable case with a great look.

I have used Speck products before, and have always found them to be of high quality. I had a Speck case for my Samsung Galaxy adroid. My android phone was dropped many times and sustained no damage. I am hoping to have the same reliability with this iPhone case. I can tell you that I had my iPhone with this case on in the pouring rain. My clothes were soaked, I was soaked, but the phone (that was in my pocket) was only slightly damp and the phone still works great! So...I think I can say with some confidence already that this case is going to work out great.
The only draw back is that it is a little slippery, being a clear-coated case. My other Speck cases were the rubberized ones. So that will take some getting used to, but the grips help and I don't think that will be much of an issue.

I use this product for my lavender iPhone 11 and I love it. It slips out of my hand less than your average iPhone case and I also had the black one for my last iPhone. I wish the ridges on the phone case was that gel/sylicone type of feel, but overall it's still a good case.

I have always loved speck products but this one definitely is in my top product list. It fits perfectly and definitely feels like it protect my phone. I like the grooves that are on it so that I feel like I'm securely holding it and that it's not going to slip out of my hand.

Awesome case- the gold standard for iPhones
I have been using Speck products for the past 5 years. The cases are so well made and durable. I purchased the clear Presido for my new 11 Pro so that I could put my drivers license in the back so that you could see it without having to get it out!

Protect AND See Your iPhone XS Max!
This is a great case that provides a good amount of protection against drops. The main thing I like about it is I can still see my iPhone. Most cases completely cover your iPhone so you can't even see what color it is. This is clear and allows you to see the color of your phone. There is plenty of gripping material in the areas on the case where you would naturally put your hand so you don't have to worry about dropping the phone while holding it. Once in the case the front of your iPhone is recessed a little bit by the case so that if you were to drop it face down it should hit the case and not your screen.

Prior to buying this case I bought different one from someone else. Not happy with that one as pretty as it was, I felt it didn't protect the screen. This case is pretty, has grips so the phone doesn't slip and protects the screen much better. This is the second case in 7 years from Speck and I am very satisfied . ( It has saved my phone after dropping it from our truck into the gutter!)

Well designed clear case for my red iPhone 11.
I love this phone case! It fits nice and tight, with the camera protected. The grips work as they should. All openings line up properly. The side buttons are firm, but that doesn't bother me. My red iPhone shows they the back and less so on the sides. The case does scratch, but better that than my phone itself.

I would not buy this particular model case again.
Unfortunately I was not pleased do to difference between my original Speck Presidio Green rubber with grips to the clear with grips was very slippery etc. could not lean IPhone XS Max with new of which I was able to do with my green cover from your company. So I using my old case. The new case would fall off even when the phone vibrated the old cover held and did not slip etc.

Pretty Solid Case!
I used this case for about 2 weeks to get the feel of it and, I have to say, it's pretty good. I think how textured the outside is and the fact that it's a clear case is amazing. The simple design is really nice. Also, the lip on the edge makes me feel more secure in that my screen is protected. The built-in grips are nice in my hand. I have no fear that it will accidentally slip.

Fits and looks good but too Slippery
After buying multiple Presidio Grip cases for various phones, I was excited to see a clear case for my XR. Unfortunately this case is too slippery unlike the other Presidio Grip cases. I wish speck would somehow use the same grip material they use in their other cases and this would be the perfect case.

I changed my old case for good
This case is definitely a must have. I had another clear case that I had purchased awhile back that was pretty durable. But this one feels way more sturdy and I've actually dropped my phone 2X since putting this one on lol. It isn't even necessary to have a screen protector because I don't yet it stood up to both falls. I also like that it's clear so I can see my phone. I will definitely be keeping this one that #igotforfree to #sampleandreview for #bzzagent. It's something I would go out and spend my own money on.

Great Clear Case Made!
In my opinion, this is the best clear case for the iPhone hands down! I own the Presidio Clear case without the grips and I like it, but I've always found it a bit slippery for single hand use, but adding the grips to the case just made a great case even better! As with all the Presidio cases, the protection is the best! I would definitely recommend this case or any of the other Speck cases. I've tried a lot of others since my 3GS and my go to brand is Speck. All the others that I have tried do not seem to have the same level of protection without adding a lot bulk to the phone footprint.

Speck shouldn't have changed a great product
I've been using the Speck Grip for many years. It's been perfect for me because of the rubber grips on the back and sides that keep me from dropping and keeping it from sliding when I set it down. Well, this new product has plastic grips instead of rubber grips, so of course it slides and isn't as easy to hold securely. It's worthless to me, I only give the product 2 stars because it does protect the phone.

I was disappointed with the Presidio Perfect - Clear with Grips iPhone XS/X case. I ordered this product to replace my favorite old/worn rose gold Speck case that had rubber grips. The cases were supposed to be the same.. I am extremely unhappy with this purchase. The clear case is hard plastic, bulky, and the plastic grips are useless.

Durable and sleek design
Prior to receiving my Speck case I was using an otter box case and since receiving my speck case I haven't gone back. I love that the case is clear and has grips so that I can easily hold on to it. I have dropped my phone a few times and the case has protected it well. I have friends that strictly use this brand and now I know why. I don't want to use any other brand either.

Good protection, no where near as good as regular grip
I was really hoping to like this case but it's so slippery it's like a hockey puck on a sheet of ice. It offers the same drop protection as the regular Presido Grip and with how slick this case is you're going to need it.

Very disappointing
I have several speck cases for my phone already, and I love them. So I was excited to be a part of the Bzz campaign for this. When I got it, the texture was not the greatest but I put the case on anyways.
After about an hour the case got so slippery I kept dropping my phone. I took it off and haven't used it since. I would not recommend this case to anyone to be honest.

I've been asking for this case for the iPhone and they finally made it. The only issue that I didn't realize until I got it was the grips are NOT rubber like other grip cases. It's all plastic so the phone slides all over the place so there's no "grip" on the grip case.

Not the Presidio grip you think you are getting
I have owned many Speck cases. My favorites are of the grip series, so I ordered this one expecting the same grippy rubber stripes. No, this was not to be. The raised stripes which make up the "grip" part of the case are just molded hard plastic that the case is made out of. It is slippery and not particularly fun to hold. It slides off of surfaces my old grip cases never did. I don't understand why this was made this way when the rubber lining is clear. Why wasn't it extruded into the grippy lines like their other cases? Not to mention it is also much thicker than my Speck candy shell grip case. I ended up going back to my old case and this clear one is collecting dust.

The grips are worthless and would let my phone slide off the counter or desk. Doesn't compare to the excellent old candy shell which I will continue to use. Also the website says "free shipping and returns" but the receipt says the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the return! I'm still returning it.

Simple, yet stylish and sturdy!
Speck Presidio Perfect-Clear with Grips is a simple yet stylish cellphone case. It's a clear case but the grips add a nice pattern to the case so it's not your average clear case. I love that I am still able to enjoy the blue color of my cellphone. The only downside to the case is that due to the design I'm unable to use my pop socket, so I'm currently on the prowl for a similar product that will fit on the narrow flat portion of the back but that is not a big deal. The grips really do help when texting and utilizing the phone and I often use is when walking/jogging and I'm able to hold it despite my palms getting sweaty. The other part I like about the case is how sturdy it is. I have had the phone fall twice (trying to carry too many things and once fell out of my scrub pocket when bending over) and my phone did not crack and neither did the case so that's a win. So for me I would definitely recommend.

The iPhone case fits great. Had some difficulty putting it on my phone, but just fits that well. Has stopped the "pocket dials" had with my original case thank goodness. Had accidentally activated the emergency dial on phone numerous times. Grips make it easy to keep phone in hand.

Simple yet super sturdy
Clear iPhone case that shows off the color of your iPhone. It might appear really simple because it doesn't have a design, but it is very sturdy and will protect your phone in a multitude of ways. It has a shock absorbers on the corners, beveled edges to protect your camera, and a thin but sturdy material. It's flexible but still is going to give you protection. The clear material isn't cloudy or foggy, it really does show the phone inside very clearly.
Really amazing for a phone case that is actually going to protect your phone and not just look pretty. Although it looks great because it showcases the beautiful color of your phone underneath. I would never buy any phone case that wasn't up to the standard because it offers no protection. I've had many of the speck cases before and I think they are a solid buy. Worth your money for sure.

I regret buying the clear version
This make was recommended to protect my new Galaxy S20+. I had to order it from the US as no-one in the UK stocked the clear grip version. First impressions were that it seemed cheap and too hard to offer protection. After using it for a few days I've decided it's not for me. My previous phone suffered many falls in its life without damage thanks to a dual material case. There is no way on earth this new case will offer my new phone the same protection, the material is just too hard. Reviews suggest the coloured cases are better designed. If you want a clear case, avoid this one!

Stylish & handy Speck iPhone 11 case
I've been told that I'm really clumsy, so this case has saved me so much money! I drop my phone constantly (by accident of course). The Speck grip case really protects my phone on the edges to prevent any damage. The grips on the side of the case are so helpful when trying to take selfies or when using your phone, especially when your hands are sweaty (after workouts). The fact that this case is clear, makes this case 10x better! Color cases are not my thing. I like to have 1 case for as long as possible. It's not bulky & still fits in my jeans back pocket. This case is durable & so far I've had 0 issues with it. I love it!

Prolonged review for maximum thorough details.
I waited as long as possible before writing this review to truly test the strength and integrity of the case. From past experience with clear cases, I fully expected my new clear, Speck case to tarnish and turn yellow from long days in the summer sun. From past experiences with my teething baby/toddler handling my phone, my cases have always been short lived (to say the least)! My new Speck case has fully tolerated all her teething and tantrums, where she has launched my phone in a fit of frustration or self-amusement. It has also not only survived, but maintained like-new condition in the many a time I was carrying said tot with all her excessive paraphernalia and dropped my phone from at least 3ft with absolutely no damage to my phone either. After seeing mine, one of my girlfriends loved the case so much, she ordered one for herself. Not even two weeks after using her new case, she accidentally ran her phone over with her mis-sized SUV and remarkably, had no damage to her case or phone! I think that speaks for itself! It's a beautiful, sleek and classic case that isn't too thick and perfect style for anyone. I am so happy with this case and have even ordered one for my husband! Thank you, Speck and Bzzagent!!

This is a great option for someone who doesn't need a lot of protection with a lightweight phone case. It was super easy to install and feels like nothing but it does a great job protecting the phone from minor bumps and slips. The striations on the back allow for a good grip when sliding the phone out of your pocket or purse minimizing chances of dropping the phone. The case itself is clear with no coloration or opaqueness. I'd prefer some coloration if I were to buy another case. All in all, this is a great choice if you want a lightweight phone case and I'm happy with this product.

The grip on the back of the case is super beneficial, keeps the phone from slipping out of my hand a lot. The front of the case forms a good lip over the edges of the phone so I think it would protect the phone should you drop it face down.

I would give this case 5 stars BUT it lacks one key feature. I have been using a Speck CandyShell Grip case on my Galaxy S7 Edge for the past three years and the same style on my iPhone for several years before that. Both were essentially the same design as this case however the grips actually had rubber in the indentations which made the phone easier to hold. This Presidio case only has hard plastic ridges which, for me, is still better than a smooth case but lacks the tactile assurance of the previous versions.

Great iPhone Case
The Speck Presidio Perfect-Clear with Grips case for my iPhone X is great. It protects my screen and also the back of my phone, which is made of glass. The Grips are also nice because it prevents slips. The only issue I have with it is that it makes the phone a bit more bulkier, but I think that's ok as long as it protects the phone.

Buy a Grip by Speck.
We have been using Speck Grip cases for quite a few years.
My wife gets a new phone every two years and I about every 6 months.(yes) haha.
I started buying Speck Grip cases for the wife. She has a habit of dropping her phone , ALOT ,i mean every day.
Anyway, since using Speck Grip cases , the wife has not broken any more phones because she no longer loses her grip on them. Wish Speck made a Grip case for coffee cups. haha...hint.
I use them on my phones as well and so far no dropped phones!!! No broken screens and no chipped anything.
Love the Spec Grip cases!!!

PERFECT CASE FOR MY S20 ULTRA
This is a great case. First off it's clear so you can see the entire phone. Then it has grips on the side that way it makes sure it never slips out of your hands. Lastly, it comes with lifetime warranty which is icing on the cake.

Strong & Sturdy Case for iPhone 11 Pro
Great case. Very pleased with the grips, it doesn't slide from any tables or surfaces. It is very sturdy and I feel safe with my phone in this case. The only thing is that because it is so strong and sturdy, it takes a little extra pressure to press the volume buttons along with the power button. But I would rather have to do that than deal with a flimsy case.

The perfect case for anyone.
I have had so much trouble finding the perfect case for all my needs. That was until I tried the Speck Presidio Perfect-Clear with grip. When I use this case I never drop my phone due to the grip on the case and I feel like it's perfectly protected at all times. It is also super sylish!!! 10/10 would reccomend

I recieved this product to test. I have owned a speck case before and was impressed. I had an Otterbox case on my phone and was hesitant to remove it. This case is amazing. This is my 4th Speck case with grips.

I've been using this case for about a month now and it's solid! The case is completely clear with rigid grips on the back and sides to prevent accidental slips from your hands. It has a grippy bumper around the entire front so it grips onto surfaces pretty well when face down. It's easy to access all ports and doesn't block the speakers or over heat my phone.

This case works really well for my phone. Its fits my iphone 11 perfectly and the clear case still looks like it did when I opened the package. Even after using it now for several weeks.! The grips do assist in a better handle of the phone and add a nice design. I like that it has this feature without the case looking or feeling bulky and uncomfortable.

I've been using this product on my new iPhone SE and it is honestly amazing. It's truly a perfect clean and clear case that protects my phone while still showing off the beauty of my phone. So far the case is holding up and with the grips, I don't drop it as often anymore and on top of that the grips make the case look cooler in my opinion. The clear case doesn't show any signs of turning yellow or brittle and it's tight on the phone so it won't randomly come off of you drop it. Even the screen is protected with the cases smooth bezel around the screen. I have zero problems with this product. The Presidio Perfect-Clear case is truly worth the money!

Great Grip Clear Case
This is a fantastic clear case!! I love that it has grips and it really does help preventing me from dropping my new iPhone. Speck cases are the best and really stand out from the rest. I have used this for about a month and the clear case isn't yellowing like others I have had in the past, which is really nice. This allows me to show off my iPhone and it protecting it very well. I received my Speck case for my iPhone XR a few weeks ago and have been using it ever sense. I got the clear case so that I could see the color through the case. Since I have had the case I have dropped my phone several times and have not broken anything. The case seems to be nice and protective. It is sleek in design and lightweight. My only complaint is the ridges on the sides of the back of the case. Although these are there so my phone doesn't slip out of my hands they are not comfortable when holding my phone.
I would repurchase this case again just maybe a different design

The case looked good for the first day or so of putting it on. I really liked that it was clear abs showed my phone color. After about 2 days you could see the dirt and fingerprints of the kids on it. I am a mom of 2 smaller children so maybe the clear is not the best color for me. However, I did like the sleek feel to it.

I purchased this clear case with grips as I have always used Speck Presidio cases with grips and have been very pleased with them. My previous case was black and I found that I lost my phone a lot, as it would not show up when I sat it down on dark surfaces. The clear case seems like an obvious solution, plus allows me to see the pretty orange color of my iPhone XR. I was happy with the delivery time, and the clarity of the case is great. Unfortunately it is not made of the same material as other Speck Presidio cases with grips; it is slippery and that negates the entire purpose of having a Speck with grips in the first place. I've already dropped my phone a few times, which I never did with the black case that is made of rubber. Why can't they make the clear case of of the same material as the other cases?????

Excellent Slim-Profile iPhone Case
The Speck Presidio Perfect-Clear with Grips is an excellent case of you enjoy slim profile cases rather than portfolio cases. It is clear with ridges that allow for a strong grip that is not slippery in your hand or on smooth surfaces.
The side power and volume buttons are also protected by the case but they are still easily used. The charging port is easily accessible. The one area of difficulty with the case is that it is difficult to reach the mute flip switch due to the cases depth. That said, with practice I'm able to access it without much problem now.
As for protection, I've dropped the phone several times onto the hardwood floor in my home. There was no damage to the phone on any occasion, even dropping from a height of several feet. There is a slight ridge above the screen where the case extends above the screen. This protects the glass from cracks if it is dropped face down. The case is several millimeters thick so I think it would survive a fall onto a harder surface, such as concrete. The edges are also well protected, an area I've found wanting in other cases.
Overall, the Speck Presidio is a wonderful case that I will continue to use to protect my iPhone. I would recommend it highly to friends and family searching for a rugged, resilient case.

It's an awesome case for a reasonable price. However, I feel that the clear version doesn't quite feel like the Presidio Cases from previous generations. The grips sorely lack the same hand feel and it6 definitely to the dextrament and hand dexterity of the product. It feels like it could skip out of my hands at times and for a $1,500 phone that's really unacceptable. While the case is a bit slippery I do feel like it and the phone would survive a tumble and that's it's saving grace.

True to form and function, Speck delivers again. It is SO hard to find a good case. Today's devices demand so much protection, but I HATE bulk.

Nice, sturdy clear case with high build quality. The plastic is pretty hard, which makes them more durable, but it makes the case not as grippy as I would like, even with the ridges. Altogether though, one of the better cases out there of the ones I've tried.

I am super hard on my phone, so for me Speck is the only option. I love the grips that help me keep my Phone safe, by preventing drops, but I *do* drop my Phone a lot, and I've never had any phone damage b/c the case is so protective. I tried an Otterbox for a while, but it was so bulky and didn't really add anything. I liked the look and feel way less, and didn't gain any more safety. The clear case is great because you can skin your case with something you like - infinite personalization!

I've been using a case that has a wallet but that feature can get in the way at times. I was able to try out this case for free and I like the design. The grips built into the case are stylish and functional. I have long nails so they do scrape against the raised grips but nothing that would bother me. Could be a sensory issue for others. Being clumsy with my phone is due to me trying to carry too much in my hands at a time so, I did drop my phone several times with no additional damage, yay!

I love the Speck brand cases and wasn't disappointed in the clear iphone 11 pro case I received. It has a snug fit to your phone but doesn't add the bulk or weight that some other secure cases do. I really like the way the phone fits in the case - very snug and tight, but can be removed easily. I also like the raised edge to protect the phone glass. I found the case to be hard and somewhat slippery oh hard surfaces such as my desk. This would be a 5 case if it had the raised rubber grippers on the underside of the case.

This case is very secure. The ridges on the case make it less likely to fall from your hands.

This case doesn't really work with my magnetic phone holder because of the ridges and it is very hard to pop the case on and off the phone (which I do quite often for cleaning)

I really liked this case! I felt like I had a good grip on the slippery iPhone SE. Unfortunately, I'm returning the case because I didn't love the iPhone *gasp!*. Otherwise, I would have kept the case.

Crystal clear but a bit slippery
This is for everyday use when I want to have the design of the phone revealed to me but not risk it to damage. Crystal clear as stated. I would only say that the case is a bit too hard - the buttons are somewhat difficult to press and a little slippery.

All Good and Enjoying my Purchase -Clear Presidio Grips Case
This is a clear, durable, hard-shell case that lets my iPhone color show-through nicely. I do feel the phone is safe in this case, but as life's rich pageant unfolds for this new case and phone, I will keep you updated. Okay by me, is a small unobtrusive Speck logo on the back. The 'grips' is overall a bit less 'grippy' that I had hoped. For me, the raised plastic 'grips' on the back of phone do shorten the phone sliding across slick surfaces. So, when I slide-shoot the phone across the kitchen island to a friend, those raised grips do slow its trip down. For me, this is a good thing, but you might want to make sure you feel the same way? I have a smaller hand size, so feel neutral about the side grips. I don't feel that they have either hindered or helped a safe pick up. I've been using the case for close to a month and really like it overall. Very happy I made the purchase!

Speck Presidio Perfect-Clear with Grips is a light weight case in comparison to cases I have used in the past. It isn't bulky like other cases I have purchased for protection/durability. This case passed the toddler test as far as durability is concerned! My toddler has the tendency of always dropping my phone, so one feature that I love is the grip! It is a life saver not only for myself, but for when my kids take over. I highly recommend this phone cover to other on the go moms. I give it two thumbs up!

Sturdy and effective case!
I bought a new phone and loved the red color but I'm always torn between covering it up or not because I have a small child who likes to always drop my phone. When trying out this clear case from highly reputable Speck, it has proven itself as very protective and the added grips gives it an added layer of protection by allowing you to securely hold onto the phone.
We have accidentally dropped the phone on tile and it held up to this claim to fame!

Rubber grips would be better
This case is great overall. It is very protective and the raised edges are just what I wanted. Unfortunately for me I bought this case thinking the "grips" were rubber. They are not. The grips are just hard plastic ridges. They do help with grip but not to the degree rubber grips would.

I love the feel of this case in my hands. My phone feels protected, and better than most other cases. However, the on/off and volume buttons are very hard to press. Also, if you're a fan of pop sockets, they will not fit on this case.

The most amazing phone case
I received the speck presidio clear case with grips and I couldn't be happier with it. It's sleek and slim. It shows off the beautiful color of my iPhone XR. It's Super durable (This has been tested a few times). The grips allow for great handling. I can grab it on the go and not worry about it slipping out of my hands. It even allows for my scosche magnet to stick to the stand on my dash. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice simple phone case with durability.

This is a very visually appealing case, and almost identical to what I use currently. As a fan of the iPhone aesthetics a clear phone case is always preferred. This Speck Presidio Perfect-Clear with Grips phone case for iPhone 11 Pro is sturdy and appears to be well prepared for impact. Impact that it will surely see, as the case is extremely slick (slippery) to the touch. The grips are just hard plastic ridges and do not provide for grip at all. I would likely lean toward this product online or in store, but would return once opening. Speck is an excellent company, however I do not recommend this item for the sole purpose that a phone case which this does not.

Cutout to silence ringer is out of place!
I purchased this case for my iPhone 8. I'm disappointed because it looks nice but it has a serious design flaw. Although the overall size of the case fits my iPhone 8 properly, the cutout on the left hand side of the case is VERY off center and it is extremely difficult to access the button to silence the ringer.
I purchased several Speck grip cases in the past and all had flexible rubber/plastic grips on the exterior of the case. This case is different and the grips are made of the same hard material as the rest of the case and it's a bit slippery. - I don't recommend this product!

Wonderful IPhone case
This translucent case is so wonderful. The grip is phenomenal even when my hands are wet. I left my phone in the sun and the material didn't get gooey or soft. Even with the grip it wasn't hard to slip in and out of my pant pockets. The added profile is nominal. I would have preferred a black colored case I'm happy with what I have.

Side buttons very hard to push.
Besides the side buttons being very hard to depress, the case is a rigid fit that is almost a little loose and so grabbing case from sides makes noise.

This case is great for those who want simplicity. You can see your beautiful iPhone through it and the grips make it nice and comfortable to hold. Buttons are easy to access and thickness On edges is appropriate. My only negative is that it is so smooth on the bottom edge that you can't stand it up and mean it against anything very well.

The Presido Clear grip phone case has been great to use! It's very sleek and not bulky at all. I drop my phone a lot so I am really picky about what cases I use. The Presido case is very protective. I like that there are grips as well because that has actually helped me hold on to my phone better. I don't like using pop sockets and other grips that stick out from my case so the grips on the Presido case have been awesome since they're low profile and built into the case. The only thing I don't like was that the case was clear. I find that clear cases can get dirty and discolored. The case I received hasn't become dirty yet but I do think I'll purchase a Presido Grip case in another color since I really do like the function and feel of this case.

I love the blue Presidio grip. When I saw the clear grip I was excited. When I received the clear grip, beautiful. But....slippery. Like all my other clear cases. WAIT! There's more. The slippery wore off after about two days. (Good thing, nothing worse than a slippery phone case) Yey! Happy Speck customer here. Scratch resistant as well.

Good protection but scratches easily
Great Case overall but scratches you can't see scratches though. Protects camera well. Has a lifted lip and protects screen so screen protector isn't really needed. (I use a screen protector just for extra protection) I love this case to protect my new iPhone SE 2020. I was riding a four wheeler up to my barn and dropped my phone off my four wheeler going 25 mph and it was perfectly fine no cracks or scratches. Good for work on the farm! I also bought this case for my daughters iPhone 11 Pro! Would buy again

The case is perfectly clear, link using the rubbery bevel around the screen. The grips are really nice. They are not rubbery like the older grip cases, but they still make it easier to hold onto the phone. Wireless charging works great with this case on. I've had this case for about a month now and all I can say is I'm impressed! The grips on the case make for getting a better hold on my case (even though I've still managed to drop it several times). Speaking of dropping, this case can take a beating and it doesn't seem to scratch up… That doesn't mean that I won't scratch up eventually but for a case that I've had for just about a month now it's doing pretty well. Anotherthing I love is that cases that they are super adorable even though they do not have fancy glittery things like most cases do I have the colors that they come with a case are very nice and stand out amongst other cases in my opinion. I also love how it goes on sturdy and is super secure so secure that is kind of a struggle getting it off LOL. I don't have a picture of my case because it's currently on my phone and it's full of stickers so it would be pointless to show you it up I was so excited to receive it that I quickly made my own and have been carrying it and using it ever since!

I thought this was a very sleek and nice look for my phone and the best part is its being protected while looking great. Super simple to put on and off. I had no problems with my phone charging on my wireless charger my old case had to be removed because it was too thick and I wasn't able to charge it with the old case but this case allows me to charge it with no hassle of removing it everytime I need to charge it.

I had been eyeing this case prior to this campaign. I've now had this case for some time and it is everything you could want in a case. It's clear and it's still clear, I don't see any yellowing. The grips on the case help to keep your phone in your hands. The grips also give the case a nice design so it doesn't look so blah. I love they I can see my purple phone back with this case on, I love that I can take the case off and wash it with soap and water, especially during these times. This case fits my phone perfectly and is easy to get on and off!!

Nice Case but a Little Bulky
The fit of this case is spot on with my iphone X. However, the ridges on the sides make it a little difficult to hold on to. Kind of contrary to what you would think but I prefer just a slim hard case for my phone. I have no doubt that this should protect from any normal drop. I like that the front is raised enough so that if you have a glass screen top, it doesnt interfere and is still protected. All of the openings leave enough room to allow for connection of a few different types of charging cables.
Overall it seems like a decent case, just a little too big for me.

I love the clear look of the case. It makes my phone look professional and attractive. However, the case is very stiff and feels slick. It feels like a might drop it at any time. It also slides very easily on most surfaces. I thought the ribs on the back were to prevent that.

I love speck cases but this one doesn't meet my expectations
I like the way it looks, but I was hoping the grips would be rubber like all my old cases. This one is a bit too slippery, it falls out of my pocket easy and slides across the counter too well. I had to go buy a used one in a different color so I could have the rubber grips. But I have always loved speck cases and will continue to buy the ones with rubber grips. I wish the clear ones had the rubber I got the clear with sparkles case as well it looks great but I probably wont use it.

Love it, just what I wanted, wish it came w/screen protector
Easy to install and the clear model I bought looks great. I've already dropped my phone right on the curb and not a scratch. I love the slightly rubbery front bevel-side grippiness and the lack of rubber on the back. The grooves on the back provide just enough grip without having to worry about deteriorating. Makes my 7 plus giant phone easy to hold. I always bought Otterboxes because they provided the protection I wanted, but this Speck gives all that and a bit of elegance that the Otterboxes lacked. If it came with a screen protector sheet I'd give it four stars.

Great grip and protection w/o hiding that expensive phone
In the past I've had 2 Speck grip cases: the Candyshell and the Presidio. The ribs on those are of a silicone rubber and actually resist sliding. When I first got this crystal clear one I thought it was slippery because the ribs are made of the same crystal-clear polycarbonate material that makes the case transparent. But the next day all feeling of slipperiness was gone, maybe from use or from relearning the muscle memory of holding the phone. Now I love the case which makes the BIG iPhone easy to grip and really allows the beauty of the phone to show through. My husband and I recently upgraded our iPhones and got iPhone 11 pros. Even with phone insurance a good phone case is important!
The Speck Presidio Perfect with Grips case protected the phone very well,aligned with phone buttons well and felt easily griped in my hand thanks to the side grips on this style phone case.
I was impressed with the quality and good manufacturing of this case. Its clean classic design looks nice on the phone. I choose the Clear color option and it looked good on my iPhone without being distracting from the phones own look and design.
I highly recommend the Speck Presidio with Grips phone case to other iPhone users. This is a REALLY good phone case!

I am a loyal Speck purchaser. I'm sure that I'm going to be happy with this case, also. I usually get the Presidio clear case. However, I went through a time of severe fatigue and found that I kept dropping my phone--twice I dropped it on concrete! My phone was always protected, but the case was looking rough. I decided I would try the Presidio Perfect-Clear with grips because the problem was obviously with me. I've had it almost a month and I'm very happy with it. I have not dropped my phone even once. Speck is a spectacular company to work with and I will continue to recommend them to family and friends.

I have loved the Speck Presidio Perfect-Clear with Grips iPhone XR. It is clear allowing you to see the cool design of the iPhone. I have a white iPhone and picked white because I loved the look - the Speck case doesn't distract from that. What it does do, is protect the phone from many drops throughout the day by a toddler! My toddler loves my phone but get frustrated and will throw or drop the phone - the Speck case has completed protected it and there are no scratches (I also have a screen cover)! In addition the design has built-in grips, so I am able to easily handle my phone and actually reduce the amount of times I personally drop the phone. However, I know that even if I dropped it, the phone would be protected given my previous comments. The case is sleek and nice looking. I am still able to easily fit in my pocket. Although I received this product without cost, I would definitely recommend it to anyone. It has shown to be sturdier and stronger than previous cases I have owned.

I love this case. It fits snuggly, has a low-key design, and it really helps with gripping my phone. The only downside is that I fear that it will start to turn yellow with wear, though I have not noticed any of that yet!

Would not buy again
I have had this case for 6 months and it has recently started to crack on the corners and next the the volume buttons. I find it difficult but manageable to take the case off of my phone. I took it off today to clean it, it cracked in half down the middle. I am not in any way rough on my phone to make it fall apart like this. All of these reviews look good bad batch?

Different than the old case
I used to like the old speck cases with rubber on the back that would not slip down slanted surfaces. This has plastic lines replacing those rubber lines, so the slip protection is not as good. However, the rubber on the old speck cases would come off after a while, so this plastic only case will probably be more durable.

I received the Speck Presidio Perfect-Clear with Grips for my iPhone XS Max three weeks and I must say that the case really surprises me. The case has such a secure feel to it and the amount of grip you get to allow you to hold your phone is amazing. Pressing the side buttons can be hard at times but I don't see it as a major issue to me. This is definitely a case that I will recommend to everyone and will buy again.

Adds elegance to my cell phone
When I chose my cell phone, I chose a color that I really liked. I didn't want to hide it under a case that wouldn't show my phone color. This case is clear so i can see my coral color. I love the grips because I'm known for dropping my phone often. This case stays on the phone and doesn't slip off. All of my buttons are still accessible to be pressed.

Almost completely satisfied — but not grippy enough
I love Speck products — they have always made me feel safe with my tech gear, knowing nothing will happen to them even if they fall — but this case was a rare quasi-disappointment! I got the "with Grips" case specifically because my hands aren't what they use to be, and I really want to keep a FIRM grip on my iPhone, because it was so expensive. Well, this case certainly does have a lot of ridges, but it still feels rather slippery in my hands, and when I put the phone (in this case) down on a surface like a table, or the dashboard of my car, it still slides around. I think the grips part needs to be less hard plastic and more rubbery, like it was on my old Speck MightyShell case. As it is, I had to add a few strips of Dragon Grips to the side and back of this case to keep it in my hands, and from scooting across slick/shiny tables. It is *great* with the Dragon Grips: nice and clear, shows off my rose gold phone beautifully, and I know my phone is safe. I just wish they would improve on the "Grips" aspect!

I play a couple games on phone, listen to music and allow my daughter to watch YouTube on phone. The plastic "grips" on this phone doesn't allow you to prop phone up to watch videos and will slide off any hard surface you put phone on. I purchased a different case from speck that actually HAD rubber grips on case and that one was great.

This is my umpteenth Speck case...as a natural born klutz who often works outdoors, having a Speck case protects my phone from being dropped, kicked, dusted, coffee spills, etc. More better than any warrantee. And I love the clear, lets the techno beauty shine through.

The case is solid and i was glad to see both a clear case that had some grip to it... But the grip is also made of a hard plastic, not like a clear tpu that i was expecting (like the original presidio grip cases), so its not that grippy like the other grip cases.

Solid case, like that it's clear
I like this case. Truly my only gripe is the textured stripes around the part of the case you'd grip come too far into the middle and some rings, pop sockets or stands might not adhere well because of it. I stuck pop out handle/stand on mine and it's not going to hold long because the surface isn't flat. That's not a dealbreaker for me, but might be for someone else? Otherwise I love that the case is clear because colored iPhones aren't cheap and I didn't pay for a lilac phone just to cover up the lilac! I also like that it clips on really securely so it won't pop off, and tightly hugs the phone and that part of the phone that meets the screen.

My Speck CandyShell Grip cell phone case is falling apart, so I purchased this as a replacement. To my disappointment, the grips are hard plastic and very slippery. In the website picture, this looks just like my Speck CandyShell, except the grips on my CandyShell are rubbery so they feel soft and not slippery. I really wanted to like this clear case, so I kept it, but really can't use it. It is back in the box, unused, and I've exceeded the 30-day return policy. Does anyone want to buy this off my hands for a discount? :P

Was a little skeptical about using the speck presidio perfect clear case. My kids like to play with my phone and they are not the most careful with it and I've always used a thick case thinking it would be more protective. Well this case really handled everything my kids have thrown at it this far. The grips make the case easy to hold. The clear case makes my flash light brighter which is awesome. Definitely impressed with this case and will be purchasing this with my next phone.

Sent this back due to hard, slick surface.
I have been a long-time Speck product case user. I thought I'd get this clear version for my new iPhone instead of the usual colored cases with grips. However this is a much harder plastic-like product and even the grips weren't soft and rubbery like the others. I am a woman who likes to keep my phone in my front pants pocket, but with such a slick surface, it kept slipping out when I sat down. I also had lots of trouble getting it off once I decided not to keep it. I gave it four stars because for all the times it fell out of my pocket, it did hold up well and protected my phone as it was supposed to!

I like the case, however, I do not think it is worth the price you show when you send it as a gift. Especially, when it don't even come with a cover for the glass shield, to protect it from cracking, I had to buy one separately.

I have had 2 Presidio Grips before and love them. I won't use anything else. But the grips on this one aren't rubber, so it's very slippery. I dropped my phone numerous times. And the side controls are so deep that I had to use my finger nail to turn the phone on and off. Now I know why all the Presidios with rubber grips were sold out (for my SE). I ended up returning this clear one and finding a colored one with rubber grips at Verizon.

This screen case is interesting. Having a clear case on my phone allows me to see the damage to the case easier and also the all the debris that get trapped inside. Maybe I'll throw some chunky glitter in there to distract the eye. Lol!

I have the IPhone 11 and have previously purchased the cute cases. They break down, are flimsy and turn yellow. I have had this case for about 2 months now and it looks the same as the day I put it on my phone. I drop my phone so frequently and have never had damage. The rounded corners safely protect the edges of my phone. The grip is the ultimate best! The ridges keep it from slipping out of my hand. If or when I get a new phone, I would definitely purchase this case. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful, but slippery
I was very excited to receive this SPECK case as a free sample to review. On first glance, it is a beautiful, clear case that let the subtle green of my iPhone shine through. While I used it, I was surprised at how clean and clear the case stayed - that has always been my primary fear with these cases.
However, while it was aesthetically pleasing, I ultimately decided it was not something I could use. One of the things I look for in a case is the grip, since I am terribly clumsy. On this, the clear case was a failure. Unlike my prior SPECK case, this one does not have rubber grips and I just found the plasticky grips too slippery, repeatedly dropping my phone, which obviously doesn't work for me. So if that is important to you, then this is not the case for you. But if that isn't important, then this case is otherwise a good choice!

I loved the clear look of this case, but found that once installed, it was extremely slippery to grip. It does not have the grip of the other cases which have the black grips on the side which are very tacky. With a larger phone, it felt like the drops were going to happen. Speck was great and will allow returns in 30 day window.

The speck case has been overall a great case. I have used it for a couple weeks now and haven't noticed any issues that it cause my phone. I will add though that I don't like the lines for the "grip" feature. It can be sometimes difficult to grasp my phone, for me. Another problem that started happening was the side buttons covers on the case began to yellow. I know the box said that this case would not yellow, but I'm noticing the trim around the case is starting to do so. For the most part, this case protects my phone well and I would be influenced to buy more speck brand phone cases.

Grips don't do the job
iPhones cost thousands so I wanna protect it obviously. I've used this style case for my last 2 iPhones. The old ones the rubber grips eventually would always fall off. Wear & tear and cost of life and me sometimes dropping it. I get it. Not mad. So my new IPhone XR, I also wanted this clear case to show off the color. I got it and the grips are laughable. The whole thing is so slick and defeats the purpose of a case "with grips". I don't need my $1K iPhone slipping out of my hand. Returning unfortunately,

The thin rubber around the speakers break. I have four covers in my desk that cracked in the same way every time. Love this cover but they don't last and they're expensive.

This is a great case! I've dropped my phone a few times and it has been fine. My Speck cases always protect my phone, and this one is no different. The only problem I have with it is that the grips are slightly more slippery than the other grip cases I've had from this brand. The clear plastic has less traction than the other cases, but I am still able to hold it. I just wish the grips were rubbery or maybe had some sort of texture to them.

Great Grip
The case has a wonderful, tactile feel to it. It also looks and feels as a well engineered product should. Love it.

I liked this case until…
I liked this case until the corners, the volume buttons and the outer rim of the case started to turn a light brownish color.
Other than this slight problem the case protects my phone from any type of fall
