TV was delivered 3 weeks before and the return policy is 15 days. When I contacted customer support, they told I need to pay for the further this service. I can see review from few more people about the same issue that back panel is peeling out after few days of usage

Rated 5 out of 5 by JimD from Broke in 4 hours The new tv arrived and I mounted it, all 85” of it, and within 4 hours, the display had a 4” wide streak running vertically from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen. This anomaly would not go away and it made the display extremely annoying/unwatchable. We took our bedroom tv off the wall and leaned it against the family room wall and watched it until Samsung technicians came and repaired it. Approximately 2-3 weeks later. I would very shy of buying this model next time, although the newly repaired tv does in fact look awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CJax from Great Picture!!! I bought this after the first couple of models I wanted were not available at the time. The dealer praised this model and I needed to get one ASAP. I really hadn't considered an 8K since there are no readily available sources for it. I really felt like I was settling for something less than what I wanted. Once I got it unpacked and set up it was immediately apparent that this was a vast improvement over my several year old 4K TV. I don't know whether its upscaling and or full screen mini-LED backlighting (vs edge lighting on my old unit) but WOW what a great picture. I really like the remote connection box (similar to "The Frame" that allows you to connect all of the other electronics away from the TV leaving only one cable to hide between other electronics and the TV. If I could change 2 things they would be to have a non-reflective screen like "The Frame" and having the TV go to wharever youu last watched when powered on instead of the homescreen. We both love this new TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DefToneR from Decent TV, with a 100Mbps ethernet port. I'm (or was?) a big fan of Samsung, they have decent quality, and nice design in home appliance. The apps for the phone are somehow decent, but everything around account management is bad, and unsafe. I got this tv because I wanted to have all my appliance and electronics on same app/brand. Upgraded from a Sony 75" 4k that was 6 years old. The image improvement wasnt that much. The boot up time neither. You expect for a almost 4k+ U$ tv that has a nice processor but not. Tv will be decently usable after 5 to 10 minutes you pressed the ON button (unless you watch air tv). And this is coming from standby mode. If you do a cold start, better sit and wait :). What I do is ask alexa to turn on tv while Im fixing a drink or sandwich, so when I got to sit is already usable. Software is decent, may be better than android tv, limited in options of app, but better working. It has embedded hardware video codec decoding. so will do fine with media servers, like plex, and streaming over lan (which is one of the reasons that I like Samsung tvs) If you are getting it just for the image quality, you can get like 90% of this quality for half the price in other brands. So do you research. Image processing is bad, dynamic image will jump bright in the middle of a movie. The online XBOX embedded feature works flawless. almost no delay (on a good internet connection). I'm not a pro gamer or console lover but I definitely see that works great. One of the INCREDIBLE downsides of this tv is that the ethernet port is 100MB. YES YOU READ IT RIGHT, 2023, 4k tv, with a FastEthernet 100 Mbps port. I'm a system and network administrator, I tough something was wrong with my cable install. I connected the test tool to the port.. 1gbps. changed patch cords, connected my laptop there, everything said 1gbps,. but tv only connects to 100mbps. No info at tv. I see the speed at my router (Unifi) and you see when streaming xbox or a UHD movie over the network that will peak at 100Mbps. I even connected a router directly to the tv with 3ft cat 7 cable to be 100% sure. Since samsung support will say that is 1Gbps, and no specs on web or tv. But found other users in forum that ended up with same issue. So yeah. if you like to wire your devices to keep you wifi clean and devices with lower latency, take into consideration that this tv its ONLY 100MBPS.

The only issue that I have had is that it would not connect to my network a couple of times. I unplugged the electronics and repowered it and everything worked fine again. I have to use a Google Chromecast with my TV because the operating system doesn't support the Tablo app that I need for my over the air TV. It did instantly recognize the Chromecast and will still control it with the new remote, so while it is a little bit of a pain, it still works.

The picture was phenomenal, but the speakers made an awful rattle at most volume intervals. I requested an exchange, about a month later the new TV arrived, it looked and sounded so much better. However, that only lasted for about an hour then the TV just crashed. The one connect box no longer received power. So another month goes and I tried to power up the second exchange and it doesn't even power on. I denied the shipment and I am now in the refund process. I have Samsung everything, the products have always been great in the past. But this has been an awful experience, I've barely had any time to enjoy this expensive product and I've had it since November.

I have struggled with the support agents and trying to get someone to come out and address this issue. This being the next level down from top tier offerings by Samsung and at this price point, these issues should not be happening and I should not have to jump through hoops to get it addressed. I would not purchase this tv again.

Watching football, basketball, any sports is a special treat!!! Music videos visually grabs your attention and transports you. I plan to added a soundbar and together will have a great entertainment system. I am extremely happy with my large screen purchase and it was discounted to boot!

Surprisingly, reading all that small text from the couch gets harder as you get older. Along with being able to read now, the variable refresh and HDR really do add a lot to the experience. The addition of Samsung TV (the service) being built-in gives a ton of stuff to watch when I'm not gaming, including 4K stuff (TV upscales things to 8K) The brightness is downright astounding, even with full sun it's still a pleasure, the reflection isn't generally noticeable except when there is an extremely dark scene, and you probably aren't watching those things in the middle of the day. The ai driven sound direct isn't noticeable usually except when you bring up the guide and is does PIP in the corner, amuses me when it puts all of the sound by it. For sports folk, you can split screen so you could watch a game while someone else watches a show. You only get sound on one, but sports don't really need it. The pictures is big enough that big things are comfortable to watch.

Every TV I have in my house (6) is a Samsung and I also ordered the new Samsung Sound Bar with my new 85” TV. The main things that are important when getting a new TV are picture quality and dependability. We want a beautiful picture every single time we turn on our set and that is what you always get with Samsung. If you buy anything else that is on you. Do yourself a huge favor BUY SAMSUNG! You will be very glad that you did for many years to come.

It's not hot to the touch, just with that much surface it is a lot of heat. Takes getting used to a screen that large (85"). Standing close to it with fast moving pictures can be vertigo inducing. Training your brain and eyes to look at the whole thing takes a few days, then it doesn't seem so large after. Samsung TV (the service) has enough stuff that you probably don't really need to keep cable or most of the other streaming services. It's not streaming, but fully takes the place of cable. Works great with the ps5, hdr, vrr, game mode auto detect, so just turn on the settings on the playstation and the TV switches modes for you. The controller takes a bit of exploring because the instructions aren't great, but the tutorial from the TV does a good job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cliff from Picture quality and sound i love the clarity of the picture. 8k is definitely a must. however, i feel the picture should be brighter. i mean, the black is definitely black. i would prefer the picture to be more brighter. finally, i'm totally disappointed with the sound quality. the bass is completely trash on this model. you can not turn the sound up too loud because the bass is horrible and takes away from enjoying whatever your watching. i tried to adjust the equalizer, but i could not lower the bass. you figure, for the amount of money you pay for the tv, it would come with a premier sound system. it's as if no emphasis was placed on the design of the sound quality or maybe its purposely meant for the purchaser to buy an additional soundbar.

The only downfall to this TV is the output selection options and the automatic option. Don't do it!!! Manual is much easier and you won't have to reset your TV options. I think this TV is topnotch with beautiful picture!!
