We have been researching for a large 85" TV for about a year (Remodeling home) so soon as we were able to move back into our home we were ready to make our purchase. We actually started to buy the Sony however after an AMAZING DEMO from Bestbuy on the Samsung we noticed visual advantages instantly, along with the super slim design (Looks like a picture hanging on the wall). The Samsung also has an AMBIENT MODE that when not watching the TV it turns the TV into a work of art. We love this TV, we have had it for 2 months now and we don't regret our purchase at all! GREAT VALUE / GREAT PICTURE / GREAT DESIGN / GREAT FEATURES / GREAT OVERALL EXPERIENCE!!!

Meanwhile, the display was great as the QLED technology give the TV a great experience. The display is refined to detail with an optional 120 fps, great for gaming. I mostly used for fps and driving game. Additional, the system is easy to use as shortcut is obvious. The only downside is I have to click 8 times from main menu to setting without a short cut.

Best Buy associate called it “bruising.” Essentially all white areas looked gray. Either I’m super unlucky or Samsung quality control is not good.

Image quality is very good and clear, initial setup is pretty easy, I love the remote control, it is pretty small and practical to use also that can be recharged though USB. The DLP had a very crisp picture but we noticed a very sharp picture difference with the new Samsung model. We occasional see a slight bit of ghosting during a fast movement on screen but overall, the colors are vibrant. I’m still learning the system bud did notice a couple things I’d like to see improved. I’d like to have the ability to move the icons for apps like Netflix to different parts of the tray and would like to hide those apps that are not being used. Even those we have the Dish Network Hopper and Joey system, it was tricky setting up the remote to take advantaged the Dish Network features. I finally figured a work around that satisfies our needs. We had the previous QLED 60 model. The TV stand for that model is different t than this unit. Personally I felt that the previous stand system worked better for my needs.

The picture quality is great. The remote and TV's UI is pretty intuitive and easy to use. The TV has a very thin frame so it looks very classy hung on the wall. Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's BIG and Pretty Cool We purchased this TV to be our main TV. It fits the space nicely - the room is 15x20 with 12 ft ceilings so we needed something big. The picture is very clear and watching movies has been a joy. There are a couple of cons - 1) sound - needed to purchase a sound bar to be used with the TV. 2) some apps don't seem to work very cleanly, we have had to uninstall and reinstall YouTube TV several times and it still doesn't work very well so we use that app through our Apple TV.

The high refresh rate is extremely nice for gaming, with nice video quality and bright and vibrant colors. The solar rechargeble universal remote is small and easy to use. It can also be charged by USB-C, but so far has kept the charge very well. After the initial charge, it has not needed a re-charge, or the solar charger is keeping it charged. No complaints to report (so far).

Love all the smart tv capabilities. Picture and sound are amazing. Customizable home ribbon is very convenient! The help ticket submission from help screen is cool. Cons: They had some unusual Netflix audio issues that they FINALLY fixed. Wish it could remember quick settings, like adjusting the brightness for day & night. Currently it's a pain to go through all the steps everyday. Would love to be able to quickly switch between the day & night. Even getting to settings menu would be better with a Settings button on the remote. Better than some of the buttons like Hulu, Netflix or Amazon (& I have all 3) but don't think I need a shortcut to those apps as much as settings. Overall the pros definitely out wiegh the cons. We love it. I'd love a few more in our house.

Everyone who comes to my home fall in love with the TV. I had a repairman working on a plumbing problem and I was watching a college football game. The commented about how he would love to have a tv like this one. When he was through doing the work I asked if he would like to stay to watch the game. He stayed and while we were watching the game , he called his wife to tell her how remarkable the color, picture, sound and ease to operate the tv. She told him she would have to see “ something so great” before ghey would even consider buying an 85” tv. I told her to come on over and watch the end of the game. She arrived with 3 minutes left in the game and when it was over she looked at her husband and asked, will the TV fit in the back of your truck? They bought the exact same tv that evening.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV. I love it. Q70 85in I love that is a 85in TV, has apple play built in, 4 hdmi, I like the options to connect to my note20, Mac, pc. And options to how display them. The image quality is great. I don't like the options to do a voice search. I don't like the storage size for a very price tv. Only 8G. And you can not delete some apps that you may never use. I wish that interfaces were close to sides or an option to have a one cable to another box for all connections. Once tv is on the all access connections is very hard, risk for this heavy TV. The ambient mode doesn't have an option to download an image. You have to take a photo and can't edit it. In my case tv is between 2 doors...so the ambient component doesn't fit the wall that is behind tv and shows the doors. I use to watch open channels from my cable provider, gaming, streaming and work from my laptops and note20, using dex feature. Wifi and cabled connections are good options. Bluetooth works fine...better if could connect two headphones at same time. Anyway I am very happy with it. My main concern is amount of memory for apps that continue getting bigger and more apps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Tv Covers my Tv needs. I’m quite pleased with my new TV. My prior television stopped working quite suddenly so I needed to make a quick purchase. I was able to compare some different models and brands online, and decided to switch to Samsung for my new TV. The sound quality of the TV is definitely superior to my prior one, and the overall use of the TV is easier. The picture quality is fantastic and the remote is appreciatively uncomplicated. Howeverm I also have some frustrations with it. I have had a lot of difficulty with the voice assistant, as it rarely comprehends what I say. I also have experienced difficulty with getting some apps to install and still have to rely on an external plug in device to use some as a result. I also would have appreciated an option to at least download an actual users manual, as finding things in the onscreen setup and manual is extremely difficult. I’m pretty technically proficient and used to manage a big box electronics store, so I’m not unfamiliar with how to operate modern TVs, so for someone with my background to feel the operational menu is not user friendly is pretty significant.

Being 85 in you would think the quality would go down, but it is crystal clear, sharp, with deep blacks. The TV sound is lacking. You have to get a sound bar to make it worth it. But the TV interacts with the Sound Bar flawlessly, so that is a plus as well. Over all, incredible product for the price!

There were a couple of glitches at first while setting it up but now its running perfectly smooth. Every single show, movie, Youtube video, everything looks absolutely stunning on this TV! TV is very thin and light weight to mount it on the wall. I absolutely love the Bluetooth feature where I can connect the tab to my AirPods and just watch TV at night, when kids are sleeping in the room next door. Smart TV features are very fast in responding. Not much of reflective glaring either. Cons: While the material is light weight, the plastic back feels a little cheap when felt, especially the 85” TV. I also don’t like the fact that Samsung doesn’t let you download other countries’ apps while TV is set to US region. This is a Samsung issue and not an issue with this TV. Overall, I recommend this TV as it serves every purpose of a TV extremely well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Died in 3 months I was watching TV and out of nowhere the TV hung up, then started turning interteminente on and off, I called the technical service, they tried to change the power card, and even so it did not work, now they made a new schedule for next week to change the TV screen, I'm very upset about this situation the TV has only 3 months of use, and worries me what can happen when the warranty ends. An investment of 2,000.00 at great risk. I think you should at least send me a new TV, instead of repairs. I'm not happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Picture Love the clarity of the picture. I went from a Samsung 55 inch to a Samsung 85 inch and Wow. I can now pair my Note 9 wireless with Samsung Dex which is a plus. It has all the bells and whistles you could think of. I truly recommend a Samsung TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THE SCREEN IS HUGE AND THE QUALITY IS AMAZING I fell in love with this tv the moment I laid my eyes on it at BestBuy. Now the price threw me off since 3,900 was and is a lot of money. However, I had to have it. The screen is humongous. The quality is great. I love the fact it can turn on by itself through the smart tv app. Furthermore, it turns off by itself due to inactivity so that your light bill doesn't skyrocket. I really don't hate anything about this t.v. I also enjoy the fact it can be controlled through the app since I lose my remote every other day. One little thing I wish they could've done is to give us a cable or plug to charge the remote. Yes! it's solar-powered. However, I'd also like it if we were given the option to charge it via an outlet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Screen Clouding in Dark scenes I was excited to get this TV, it's the Largest size I've ever bought and was new to 4k. Our old TV was a just standard HD and had a limited amount of HDMI ports. This one had enough for my uses. The voice comand is nice but a bit slow. The home screen is nice but it DOSEN'T let you customize the whole window, ONLY the APPs installed, which was annoying because I had to scroll for a while to get to settings. And finally there's the CLOUDING in Dark scenes, I noticed it and thought it might of been because we weren't streaming 4k content, but it latter showed up in our ps5 and blue ray movies that are 4k, it was disappointing and made the TV and Samsung feel like not as FLAGSHIP as I once thought it was amd ruined the quality and experience I was expecting from this TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is enjoyable to watch. I primarily use this tv for streaming movies and watch live spirts events. The quality of the picture is great and I’m content with the quality of the images being viewed. I just wish I could really get into more detail of capturing the color and brightness when I’m watch certain films or sports events. The tv does offer different modes for viewing but don’t quite hit the mark. The sound control is also pretty standard and really wish o could have more control of the sound. I also have a dtv antenna and the auto scan will not pick up all channels. I’ll have to look into the manual program if to see if can manually add the channels that I like to watch. Overall the picture and size is great to watch. The streaming of Hulu or Netflix films is flawless. So I’m happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great 85” Picture i’ve been a big fan of samsung since 2006. everything in my home is samsung except cellphones. i ordered my q70a on november 9th and got the early black friday pricing. after a delay in shipping, it finally arrived but with a baseball size hole on the front side of the box. needless to say , i was expecting the worst but when i opened the box, there was this huge plastic protector filled with air. whatever punctured the box never made it past this piece. great packaging samsung. we mounted it on the wall and it has been total greatness every since. would buy again in a heartbeat. especially at the sale price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT TV FOR THE PRICE Me and my wife both are very tech savvy and also own 4 if multiple brand TV so we did a lot of research and finally Seattle for this. Samsung TVs are historically very reliable. Picture quality is great. Almost no bezels. Sound can be improved a bit but we end up using a samsung q900 soundbar and most people will do the same so no issues there. Highly recommended.

We never use to darken the room to watch tv, but now we closed the blinds and have a real movie theatre effect. An added bonus is all the channels that were are already installed.

There are two different types of panels in the TV market, OLED and LED, and they each have their strengths and weaknesses. Great picture in a very bright room, setup and linking of smart TV features was a breeze. Video content at a variety of resolutions looks great. The remote is a simple layout with few buttons but easy to use and does everything I need. Easy to use apps are well integrated. Remote control has integrated solar panel for charging the battery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Q70 QLED TV I currently have YouTubetv, HBO, Disney, Prime Video and a few other watching platforms and overall it is a very nice picture. However, when watching sports it tends to run. I bought this TV because of the ratings but also wanted to make sure my sports programs would look amazing. Unfortunately, that is not the case. It is good but not amazing. I also think the speakers and sound on the TV are not that great. The speakers are in the rear and you do have to turn up the TV volume for to hear your program. I am working on purchasing a surround sound system but this is definitely a drawback to this TV. I do love the smart TV feature and how it displays the the watching platform options. Very easy, very accessible and its just smooth. You can switch between them very quick and easy. Overall I would give this TV a 4 out 5 stars. The picture is beautiful and amazing for movies.

The menu features are easy to navigate and the remote is user friendly, although I do prefer the feel of my older 65 inch remote. The solar charging is a nice feature.

I added a web cam so I can make video calls using Google Duo, and a wireless keyboard to easily access the TVs browser app. I turn it on, off and pause streaming by voice using Google home. The remote not needing batteries is a cool feature. It recharges just from available sun or lamp light.

My family and I will purposely wait for movies to come out of theaters to watch in our home because no theater can beat the expierence you get with this tv paired with our Sonos 5.1 Surround system. The only thing that can make this setup better would be an Atmos surround system by Samsung that I was able to expierence at a friend's house. I am truly blown away with how far the quality in samsung products have come, I wish I could afford it all!

I never thought about how the image improves whatever you're watching... football, nature documentaries, rom-coms, and even the news. It's like you're right there with them. The smart TV details offer so many tools and tricks that this minimally tech proficient user didn't know about, but now can't live without! I have a 65" in the same model and love that one. This bigger screen provides an even better viewing for movies. The setting controls for color allow my husband and me to quickly find the "perfect red" that each of us prefers. The sound and volume options allow us to crank it up and not lose quality. Our friends and family love it and make plans to watch things at our house now because their tvs are nowhere as nice.

The color, clarity, and sharpness of the picture on an 85" screen are superb. The TV speakers could be a little better but are acceptable.

I was able to play and watch my sport game all at the same time. The multi window feature i had on my phone is now on my tv!! Pictures is great so far this this the best tv i have purchased and inwould do it all over again

Even when you watch from an angle! If I had the wall space, I would have even gone with a larger TV if I knew it would look this good. Will buy another Samsung in the future!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This tv picture quality is fantastic I originally bought this tv for my man cave but my family can’t stop watching movies on it. The 85” is perfect for watching HD movies in the dark or when it’s sunny. The pitch is crisp and clear you can basically use it for anything. I plan on using it for when football season starts but I’ll definitely purchase another for the family room. We currently have a Samsung 60” but that’s due for a upgrade soon. I’d say the only downside about this purchase is that the tv didn’t come with the no gap wall mount. The tv is thin to where the no gap wall mount would of changed the game. I’ll just purchase it on my own.., no biggie. Other than that the tv is great. Highly recommend. You don’t need the 85” like me. The Samsung financing is what really pushed me to get it that large. Without it I would of just bought a less expensive tv. The payments are affordable, 0% interest and free warranty for 4 years. You can’t beat that. There was even a option that I could trade in my tv for a newer model after so many years but I didn’t go that route. I believe this tv will last me a very long time, or just maybe after I pay it off I’ll upgrade it to a even larger screen.
