Turning on and it keeps on turning off and on repeatedly. So after 18 months why is this junk? After reading so many reviews on the same problem I guess I have the same issue as so many others now. Now I'm trying to read the reviews on your webpage and even that will not allow, as the page keeps on moving up so I cant read about this product.. BYE BYE

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible I only had this for a year and a half, tv has been mounted on my wall up high, i clean it free of dust cared for it like a baby no dings, no bumping into it then all of a sudden very recently i noticed black lines had appeared on the the screen and to my luck the warranty was only for 1 year. I had a LG for nearly four years till it gave out soon after i got this tv it started to show lines on the tv only 9 months in but i didnt mind because it was bedroom tv and so now give it a second chance i bought another one updated feature quality resolution, this tv is already showing signs of going bad only a year and a half in, Very frustrated this is the second samsung that this happen, i highly recommend NOT to buy this tv

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Picture is blurry and fuzzy picture is blurry and fuzzy when watching live action content such as movies, tv shows, and sports. otherwise when watching 2d animation like cartoons the picture is clean. i also own a mu6070 which is a lower end model in terms of specifications when compared to this qled and do not have any of the issues mentioned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Short-Term Product bought this product late 2020. less than a year later started having horizontal lines showing up on the screen. warranty sent technician over to fix. immediately after the remote + wireless connections stopped working and technician had to replace receiver. last week the horizontal lines are back and flickering on the bottom of the screen. this product can barely last a year without me needing to contact a technician.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from QN50 Short Lifespan purchased the qn50 in 2020 and now i have thin black horizontal lines on the screen. it will shut off and go black with the qn50 logo on the screen and then go to a grey screen for a short moment. unplugged the device for a minute and sometimes the screen will return to normal after maybe half an hour or so. had to unplug power for an entire day before the screen returned to normal with the black horizontal lines.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV i thing this is an excellent tv, the screen and sound quality are great. i've been using it for 1,5 year and only had one minor issue with the internet connection after a late update. i really like the samsung interface and user-friendliness. for my next tv i might go a little bigger, but that's a personal choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3 Months out of Warranty....2 Solid Black Lines i purchased this tv 15 months ago. the tv was delivered on dec 3rd, 2021. the picture quality was ok, not anything incredible but the tv fit my price point. a week ago i noticed 2 solid black lines about a pixel in height that run across the entire length of the screen. the tv is barely older than a year and the screen is already going bad but it's conveniently out of the manufacturers warranty period. samsung offering a store credit for far less than the same model would cost to replace. won't be buying another samsung product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Low Longevity v High Quality Picture i purchased this tv in september 2020. i was initially very satisfied with my purchase and by the end of september 2021 i started to regret it. there was already a quarter line of dead pixels, that eventually grew to a whole line and then new lines began to appear. ive owned this tv less than 2 years and its stuck in a boot loop and displays nothing at all. i've owned both samsung and lg tv and monitors and this product has given me the least longevity of all. all that being said, the tv panel quality, while it was working... was excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useless brick so disappointed with this tv. i was actually happy with it until suddenly a power cycling issue began. it now continuously turns itself on and off every 3 seconds. i have only had the product for 17 months. after reading the community threads, it seems that this is a known issue with samsung tv's which they refuse to correct. and because i didn't buy an extended warranty, i now have a useless electronic brick hanging on the wall that will cost a few hundred dollars to fix. almost every electronic device i own is from samsung including several phones, tablets, tv's, buds, and watches. sadly, after this experience, i will probably never buy another samsung product. i thought i was buying quality but i was seriously mistaken.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture all the product features and picture quality mean nothing when it stops working and costs so much to repair. it should last longer than 18 months when it costs so much. i don't need all those features... i just need a product that lasts relative to it's price. get a good warranty!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not Great just like the other reviews, tv just stops working. i purchased less that 2 years ago and it has had minimal use. standby light will flash, backlight comes on and then goes off. it will repeat this cycle till the end of time. tv will never fully turn on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad location for standby light on Samsung TV we just bought a uhd smart samsung tv. my issue is the standby light. this is the only tv i had, samsung included where the standby light is under the tv and cant be seen. we use a cable box and sometimes by error we shut off the cable box and the tv looks off but isn't. i like to see the standby light to know tv is off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad advice out on SamSung Community Board while setting up the new tv we removed the film covering the screen believing it was a protective covering. there is a thread on the community board where it is recommended to remove the film. turns out the film is integral to the picture. samsung voided the warranty and repair requires a whole screen (not just a film) which costs more than tv. the tv is trash. samsung says sorry but no discounts or oops.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Less than 3 months old and TV no longer turns on i got the tv (model qn50q60tafxza) less than three months ago and now it suddenly will not turn on. status led is on, but tv won't turn on. i tried to request help through samsung website, but the option for creating a support request is greyed out and not selectable. the chat option is less than useless; the recommended solutions are to check that tv in plugged in and check the batteries in the remote.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Misleading Specs EXTREMELY Disappointed i just received my tv i purchased on black friday for my xbox series x. i made this purchase because i was looking for a tv with 4k resolution and 120 hertz refresh rate that my xbox series x coul utilize. the specs on samsung's page for this tv states for the motion rate (120 mr) and while searching youtube for video on how to best setup my tv for next gen gaming i found out about this tv only putting out 60 hertz even though its advertised at 120. the very first video i saw was even titled "do not purchase samsung qe55q60ta 4k qled tv for sony playstation 5, xbox series x|s!" i have attached the link to this video. this is extremely disappointing as i will most likely just have to stomach the purchase and next time go with a brand that's more transparent

Our 10 year old tv is better bought this new samsung tv as a gift to my husband and didn’t open it right away. when we did we were shocked at the poor picture quality and sound. our 10 year old samsung series 7, 7000 has a way better picture quality and sound. sound is like a battery powered transistor radio on am. seriously! contacted customer service to return it and was basically told too bad you’re stuck with it because of 15 day return policy. 15 days to contact them. Very dissapointing.

The TV is used for watching movies, and playing the new Xbox Console. The sound could be better. Perhaps, I should look into getting a Samsung soundbar too!?
