Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a paid-for review. Had a 6 yr old Visio soundbar paired with my new Samsung Q60 Qled TV. Wife was tired of having two remotes. I broke down and got the matching soundbar. Thought I'd be thrilled...not. It's nice looking and comes with everything you need to attach it to your TV. Q-symphony is nifty, but it really doesn't make a big difference in sound. Had all kinds of issues with sound volume changing dramatically between commercial breaks. I tried every setting, every type of connection, nothing worked. Doesn't do it with my old soundbar, just this fancy one that is supposed to compliment my TV. Called Samsung care...they are no help. Two plus hours with no resolution. Firmware is the latest version. Did hard resets on both TV and soundbar. Nothing. Heck, it doesn't even sound that great compared to my old bar. I'm not sure why everyone gives this such a great review, but I'm reboxing it and returning for a different brand. Samsung needs to stick to TV's and cellphones. Leave audio up to the grown-ups like Bose, Sony, JBL,Polk, etc. They know how to build a speaker.

It has such a rich sound that has transformed our living room into a mini theater. It really has enhanced our viewing and our ability to hear all the "talk" over the background music on shows and movies. We were skeptical at first that it would give us that much, but it gave us more.

Now, I don't have the Sonos woofer but the Samsung soundbar and woofer has fantastic sound compared to the Sonos system - makes me think that I should have gotten Samsungs throughout the house.

The bass and table sound reproduced perfectly with many presets. Watching movies with incredible surround sound. Also Q-Ssymphonic feature added the clarity of sound enhancing the mid-range frequency a little better. Over all, I am satisfied with the quality of sound this sound system produces. Elegant design, powerful surround sound. One little downfall is the maximum volume seems to be not loud enough, but this is not crutial. The internet connection is easily established with Samsung Smart-Things Andriod app

It has a unique "Acoustic Beam" design, which helps create a more immersive surround sound experience. The sound quality is decent for a soundbar in this price range, but I feel the subwoofer has to be right next to a wall for it to sound its best. The design is sleek and modern, and it's very well-built, so it should hold up for a long time. Overall for me, it is an affordable soundbar that provides good surround sound and decent audio quality, the Q60 is a solid option.

I spent over $400 for something that doesn't work and for which I can get no help. Since it has been almost a month I can't return it. So if you are looking to throw your money away on trash, then this is the product for you! This is a grade A, 100% piece of crap. I am extremely sorry that I bought it and will NEVER buy another soundbar from Samsung again! I do not recommend this product!

If you move the woofer to be opposite side to the soundbard speaker the quality of audio is impressive. The flare speakers that shoot ceiling are noticeable, I could not imagine what other more expensive Samsung speakers can do, this one is really great.

The sound bar itself is very clear and there is a noticeable difference between sound profiles. Tap to Share for the sound bar and accompanying TV aren't just gimmicks. It's useful and much faster than casting the usual way.

Games are more immersive, movie feel more like the theater, the roar of the crowd during football games shakes the room with the great bass. Sound is full and rich, volume adjusts easily for different content, and there's pretty much no lag when I use it for gaming. Very easy to set up as well, and blends in nicely with the TV and my general set up.

I have no issues I enjoy all modes on the bar and the adaptiveness the bar features. I experience no sound issues or lag. Sound is smooth and clear even for the gritty streamline movies I watch. Highly recommend I got a great deal when on sale and will upgrade.

When first purchased I was able to adjust the different modes (I really enjoyed listening through Tv spkrs and sound bar but after about a week sound modes would not open at all. The small subwoofer doesn't actually hit like my large 12 inch sub but it doesn't disappoint. Pairing is easy for Bluetooth and once an item is paired it re-connects quickly. Also USB, HDMI and optical connections gives all the variety for whatever you need to connect. Overall I'm only slightly disappointed. The surround sound quality makes up for everything except not being able to switch between modes. It's connected to a 2019/20 Samsung 82" Q60 TV. Quite satisfying and on a clear day I use it on the patio also. Loud and clear inside and outside.

Once i upgraded to the Q60 with the addition of subwoofer plus the addition of Q symphony was really worth the upgrade. It got louder without muffling the sound. I really like the night mode feature to avoid disturbing neighbors as well.

As a 3.1 system, my anticipation and expectation was to have better vocal volume in addition to a smaller setup that sounds like a small component system. Slightly disappointed once I was home and it was setup. It definitely provides a good sounding system, but doesn't clarify the vocal components/talking much better than the TV speakers. Now it does do a great job projecting the sound!

The greatest thing that I love is that when I watch the news there is no adjustment needed. The dialogue related sound is crisp and clear with no distractions. Then when you watch a movie it takes you to a movie theater experience without any adjustments needed. Love too show off to my neighbors. Highly recommended.

When I found out that Samsung had a sound bar design to link up with the tv’s speakers I was very excited. The sound is amazing. It’s crystal clear and it sounds like a complete surround sound. No more Bluetooth speakers to listen to my music. I connected my phone to the tv and sound bar . No one believes that it is coming through a sound bar and not an expensive stereo. I love the addition to my tv. I would recommend both to everyone. Sorry for the wires in the picture they are the other components attached to my tv. We have not completed the clean up to hide the wires.

Both, the wireless connection between the subwoofer and the soundbar and the connection between the TV and the soundbar system went seamless and effortless. The unit turn on and off automatically with the TV. I also use the Bluetooth input to link my phone or laptop to it. I did add the addition rear speakers after a few months to have better surround sound.

I could have also connected it via Bluetooth, but HDMI is better, so I went that way with it. My Alexa can control the soundbar and the remote for my Firestick works for it too. So easily integrated. I feel like the sound is pretty great. My bf said his TV speakers are better, but this was a big improvement for me, so I'm happy ??

The only slight downfall we have noticed is that the sound occasionally cuts out for a second or two. We double checked the cords/connections and they are all tightly connected, so not sure if it will become a larger issue or not.

It powers on automatically and us controlled by the volume for the Roku remote. Highly recommended for thr money. The sound quality and base output are top notch. I have a much higher end setup in our main room and the sound from this setup is close enough in quality and overall output.

For an initial entry into surround sound, it is a great product that's not hard to setup to get great sound quality. It's price point was great to get without breaking the bank. The quality of sound is great especially as I have hearing loss. It is crisp and can be rather loud. It's one of my favorite tech purchases that I look forward to expanding soon.

I was comparing to LG and Vizio and Sonos, this at the time was on a great sale, and was priced under the LG nearly same as Vizio, but the sound quality was much better than all but sonos, which was far too expensive.

Volume necessary varies by source. TV apps seem to need to be set about twice as high as for hdmi sources from the TV when using hdmi e arc. For the money, it's a great value and substantial upgrade over the TV speakers.

It works along side of my Samsung QLED’s speakers to provide a richer and deeper sound. It is able to not make the TV speakers useless. Convenient sound modes to select the best response to what type of media you're enjoying. Slick and effective remote control! Also really thoughtful mute button and bass control on remote. Very happy with my purchase, I got in on sale and my only regret was not buying 2 or 3 at the same time to upgrade the sound for my other TV's. Definitely a happy customer.

As a result, without the ability to make any changes from an app, In order to make tone, input, mode, etc. changes you have to be very close to the soundbar so you can see the display. Minds well not have a remote.

My only complaint is that it is not compatible with SmartThings (as of Dec 2023). There are no instructions on how to make it discoverable and when you look at product lists on the app the HW-Q60C does not even show up on the list.

Sound is weak and sub woofer is nearly worthless. No thump what so ever. Sound adjustments do little to improve anything. Upside is my tv will control the bar power and volume. I DO NOT RECOMMEND> Waste of $400. You would think $400 is enough for decent sound. My tv is great and was only $500.

I tested other high priced soundbars at Costco but this one sounded better. It has deep bass. All three channel levels can be controlled individually. Setup was also easy. Even though, I don't use the optional rear satellite speakers, I still get a surround sound experience. I do use it as a Bluetooth speaker and play music from my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. I like the fact that one remote will work with the sound bar and my Samsung TV. The sound bar was easy to connect and setup. I plan to purchase this sound system for our bedroom TV. This purchase has been a very good decision. I shopped different brands and models, but found this to be the best choice. It has more than met my expectations for sound and use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great budget friendly sound bar I purchased this sound bar after replacing my bedroom TV with a QLED model which offers the Symphony sound with compatible sound bars. It replaced my previous sound bar (also Samsung) which was always my standard bearer for sound. Out the box it was very easy to setup especially as it is paired with a Samsung TV. Once connected the remote was able to function for both devices. After a few preference tweaks to the default settings selecting sound modes etc I fired it up. I was immediately impressed by the deep rich sounds coming out of this thing. Sound effects are booming when watching movies and dialogue is crystal clear. Setting it to play audio from both the bar and the TV give it a surprising surround like sound. I always defaulted to watching movies in the living room because of the surround sound system there but not anymore. Overall, I am more than happy with this purchase . I was initially considering getting the compatible rear surround speakers to go with it but the sound provided by just the bar proved sufficient for me.

I was able to mount the soundbar mounting bracket very easily it came with a template for the screws location made my marks screwed in the holders and it mounted perfectly, easy to follow wiring instructions which is just two paired woofer with soundbar , I used an optic fiber cable then BOOM ?? GREAT SOUND QUALITY ! I paired my phone to just listen to my music apps sounds awesome for my personal expectations, or just streaming a movie on my 75in Samsung TV. Very pleased with this plus a affordable price!,

The Q60C is an extremely good sound bar for everyday use and is very easy to setup if its your first time. Q-Symphony works very good as well with my Samsung QN90C TV without any annoying delay of sound for an immersive experience. The sound quality is everything and more the everyday watcher or streaming enthusiast needs. The bass notes that come from this soundbar will not disappoint and can be felt in your chest and stomach. However, this Soundbar can easily be fine tuned to your liking. Build quality of this soundbar is exceptional, no cloth is used which makes for easy dusting. Would definitely recommend this sound bar as a first, second, or 5th sound bar to anyone looking to enhance the sound of their home entertainment.

I wanted 'a' speaker with some bass and this set was the cheapest. I couldn't be more satisfied! The music better than on some of our big party speakers, no distortion even on max volume, it would tear the walls down if I'd let it. It's excellent for playing games too. The remote control is not infrared, so you can point it into any direction, it'll work. This is a huge plus!
