This sound bar snd subwoofer are very clear with a lot of sound range. It has a lot of bass, it has a difficult time navigating quiter parts of movies. All in all, I have had cheap sound bars and this one is very nice for the price point.

The primer reason I bought it was to enhance experience of watching movies, and this sound system does exactly that, and does it well. I remember when I watch Dune: part 1 at the cinema and then I wanted to show the movie to my family, but it wasn't as enjoyable. This was the reason why I started searching for sound systems and this set caught my eye. Since having this set up, me and my family watch movies regularly with the cinema quality sound, and the experience had never been better.

It has a well-balanced sound profile that reproduces dialogue with clarity and accuracy, and it also adds a little extra boom to the bass thanks to the wireless subwoofer. The subwoofer is powerful and delivers decently deep bass, which is great for movies and music. It also has a few sound enhancement features, such as bass and treble adjustments, a dialogue enhancement mode, and a game mode. The soundbar is easy to set up and connect to my TV via HDMI ARC, and it also supports Bluetooth for wireless streaming from my phone. The build quality is good and the design is sleek and modern. Overall, I think this is a great soundbar for the price and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple and effective way to improve their TV sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sound, Easy Setup I bought this soundbar to go with my Samsung TV. The setup and the integration with the TV is amazing. The sound quality is great, it definitely upgrades the sound experience for the TV. The only reason this product loses a star is due to the subwoofer. The subwoofer has a wireless connection to the soundbar with no wired option, and uses the 2.4ghz band to connect, meaning that it interferes with the wifi signal that the TV uses to connect to the internet. This can be avoided by using a wired connection obviously, and to Samsung's credit they do advertise this issue on the product description, but you have to dig a little for that information.

I use it while playing video games, my husband while watching sports and combined for movie night! The bluetooth features makes it seemless to connect and stream audio from our other devices. Be it our cell phones, Amazon Alexa, smart TV or gaming systems the connection and sound quality is a game changer. I was always the type of person who thought, who needs a sound bar? Now I cannot imagine not owning one.

Heres my thoughts after 3 months (maybe a little more now) Normally dont do reviews but decided to leave one because of the mixed reviews. Ive seen some saying defective (sorry if you broke 3 thats either a bad batch entirely or user error lol), Ive seen some saying how bad they sound, yadda yadda. Anyways, its a soundbar. If your expecting some mind blowing whole house rumbling THX experience, Buy an actual home theater. Its a soundbar, its meant for smaller spaces and for sure not for audiophiles. The sound has been great. I use one at work in my office and the sound is good. Bass is way more than I need for my space (About as big as an average apartment living room). First and foremost, know how to adjust TV/Media player audio settings. Enable what the sound bar allows obviously! Ive had no issues with sound, overheating, anything cutting in and out, etc. I use mine about 40-50 hours a week so its regularly used. I did take one star (maybe would be a half star if it were an option) for the price. I do feel 200$ may be a little steep for this, but like everything prices do keep going up on everything.

The sound is great and the bass thunders! I also purchased the SWA-9200S rear speakers for the extra kick in the pants. WOW what a difference the rear speakers add. I would definitely recommend purchasing soundbar if you're on a budget!!

If I call the service number, they can connect it and it will work until the TV is turned off. Then it won’t come back on. I only use it for watching TV and movies, but still for what I paid, I wish it worked.

Keeps disconnecting (HDMI eARC) and we miss dialogue and sometimes have to power on again. Sound is good when it actually works. Not worth the money. Disappointing TV too. Not sure what happened to Samsung quality but it’s gone. TV is UN55AU8000FXZA, 2021 Model)

The built in sound with my Samsung Q70A TV's (I have 3 of them—bedroom, study, & dining room) is not bad—clearly a cut above what you would expect in a TV. But the soundbar – it brings the TV to the next level. It's also nice looking. But the thing I love most about this soundbar is it uses the TV speaker as a center channel. It's such a nice touch. In my dining room— after having replaced the old picture on the wall with one of the Q70A 65" TV's, just needed more because it's a large room. The soundbar made a HUGE difference. So I got one for the bedroom TV as well. It's just so nice to have good sound, even in the bedroom.

I mounted the sound bar above my headboard and put the sub under the bed. It allows an excellent experience while not having to have it up very loud.

I have hearing aids that are blue tooth compatible but I have been unable to connect by hearing aids or my Apple IPhone. I can’t connect the sound bar either but the substantial improvement in sound clarity is making it much easier to hear and understand sounds from the TV.

Not much of a difference in the settings but the big test was using it while watching Top Gun Maverick. I felt like the planes were taking off right above me. That's all I needed!

We use it for whatever we use our TV for. Gaming, streaming TV/Movies, game days at home, UFC fight nights if it streams and requires audio we use the sound bar & woofer. We usually keep it on surround sound mode sometimes we change it to gaming for certain games. I stream my music from my phone to the bar so i can make my house cleaning more enjoyable! My neighbors know when I'm over here cleaning too and they don't live beside me! The sound can be as lour ad you need it or want it and the voice is clear trends and bass all sync up very nice together one not drowning out the other, perfect sound for such a small device!

I don't know what the one star reviews are about as far as sound quality goes, because if you actually try to set up the sound to your liking, it sounds incredible. As far as the longevity goes, obviously, I can't say yet.

The Samsung soundbar sound is very dim and unremarkable compared to the JBL soundbar. For example, the mid-range sound that carries human voices is weak and makes listening to people talk on the screen nearly impossible at lower volumes. I shouldn't have to turn the soundbar to "11" in order to hear simple conversations. Spend more money or buy another brand.

A 63 foot x 9 foot mostly open area. I put t perfectly center I could hear the clear, well balanced, permeating sound exceptionally well. Comparatively speaking it was my 3rd favorite so far. My FEMA camper was broken into at Christmas and I haven't seen or heard it since. If the washer and dryer work that well I'll be thrilled. Would really like to see an upright multi surface all in one floor mop - scrub, and vacuum for hard floors and (with spot upholstery and short carpet cleaner options sm attachments){wash and reuse pads, washable filters and refill pod

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best spatial audio for a soundbar I've ever heard I have a two bedroom townhouse and this one sound bar if I'm using it for Xbox or to stream, or whether it's to cast from my phone or from my Samsung M8 Smart monitor I get full audio in all rooms, but watching a movie is like having a movie theater right here in my townhouse. Luckily I have very good soundproofing and padding in my walls. Incredible how you can distinguish the left and rights out of this

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible garbage I have owned this HW-B550 soundbar for 4-6 months and it has worked "properly" about half that time. The firmware has been updated several times and it still work properly, as it keeps disconnecting randomly from a 2022 model Samsung tv. I connected two different soundbars to the same tv and they work PERFECTLY, one is a Bose and the other is a different model Samsung. This soundbar is trash, except for the nice bass from the subwoofer, whenever the soundbar decides to work. I recently sent the soundbar in for a warranty repair, and according to the information from the repair center, the soundbar is working fine. Really? No thanks, you can keep this garbage Samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value and Simple for Samsung Users I used 3rd party speaker systems for a long time with my TV setup but decided to get a soundbar because they seemed to last a long time and they fit in seamlessly with large TVs compared to having to set up and tuck wires for other surround sound systems. The virtual surround in this soundbar is plenty good enough for me! My only critique is that the HDMI Arc would occasionally lag or desync which you'd have to reset your systen to fix but it rarely happens.

I wasn't really expecting much, but once I connected it with my TV and put it to the test, it blew me away. The sound is crisp, and I love the deep bass it gives. I game a lot, and I'm amused how it sounds. And to get straight to the point, I would 100% recommend it!

Wish it came with a mount to attach to bottom of tv being my TV is on a ceiling mount and not mounted to the wall. In my opinion it sounds better above tv .

It sounds great for a 2.1 surround sound system the only thing I'm actually concerned with is that the subwoofer itself sometimes cuts off during a movie for several seconds at a time and I've tried everything to grt it to stop but I haven't been able to get it to stop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT BUY!! EASY TO USE!! This sound bar and woofer are great. Got a large flat screen years ago and struggle with poor sound quality. Plugged this in (literally)- you get an OPTICAL cord not HDMI but that saves you money and we hooked it up to our TV and it self paired with our Samsung TV to our Cable service remote. We just turn it out and there is the sound we have been missing. We also use an old DVD player and was able to config that to also divert to the sound bar and that takes care of the "sound down" that occurs with DVD's. Love turning up the bass and listening to music. The quality is very good. Don't know if they consider this basic but it is comparable to our Bose system that is 15 years old. I would recommend this- pretty much hooking up is a no brainer. I also like that you get the wall mount brackets. We did not wall mount our TV since I don't want to strain my neck looking over a fireplace to watch TV. It's on a beautiful cabinet with wall straps to preventing falling over. We placed the sound bar on the wood in front of the TV and made sure to shut off the TV speakers. Again, sound is very very good. Price is good too.

This system fixes (no destroys) any sound issues regarding clarity, fidelity, lows, highs & mids. Pack a serious punch; the wireless sub can be placed anywhere. I have the sub about 10 feet away with ZERO issues. No sync issues, no audio delays...simply fantastic! The Dolby adds even more icing to the delicious cake SAMSUNG has baked! After finding instructions on line and following precisely can not get Samsung TV to recognize the soundbar either with optical cable or HDMI cable.... doesn't list it as being connected under sound options on TV so Samung Remote for Samsung TV can't recognize Samsung Soundbar. I refuse to have to keep track of two remotes while watching tv as I do adjust volume and mute tv during commercials. So, soundbar being returned.

We purchased It on a Black Friday and was very impressed on how well it performed. It has great clear sound. My kids use it on a daily for their phones and music while cleaning up-and-doing homework. We also have it hooked to our led lights in our living room for sound and they move to the sound. Has been a great all around package. Fits perfect in our living theme and catches everyone's attention with the clear quality sounds it produces. So thank you samsung for creating such a great product. I have been using it for over 4 years and this is probably the best purchase I have ever made. I would definitely buy this again if I were to get abother TV for My guest room. I really enjoy this sound bar for all types of entertainment including Listening on my favorite music app in dts x quality sound, gaming with game sound mode or even watching movies and television as well. There are several sound modes to select from. It even allows the option to custom adjust the sound settings like bass. Speaking of bass, the subwoofer and bar together create a superb experience. The sound is clear and the volume can maximize to very, very heavy and loud if one wanted that experience. I have owned several types of sound bars over the years from various companies and this is the best one.

At the same time, not everyone has the disposable income to purchase everything all at once. I received the sub woofer first, I had no clue that I couldn't connect it to ANYTHING, except the sound bar, and has to wait several months before I could use it.

Added to the living room area and just didn't sound loud enough, good clear sound but not loud enough for the size of that room, put it in the smaller family room which is a 12x12 and sounds better do not need to use Max volume.

I also have the opportunity to connect my phone to play music. I am also planning on buying a new record player and a lot of the new ones connect wirelessly. It will be nice to sit in my reading nook in the living room and listen to records and then fairly seamlessly switch to watching TV with surround sound.

Opened the package when I arrived home to test the quality and was surprised at how simple it was to put together, get connected wirelessly and have the beautiful sounds of Corey Kent rolling throughout the house. Seemed to brighten everyones mod after having such a ridiculously slow start to the day with it bein Monday before Thanksgiving.

I originally purchased it because the speakers on my TV face the wall and I don't know if it's the wall itself the valted ceilings or that the TV speaker quality just isn't all that great but it didn't matter if I had the volume set to five or 50 it sounded the same to me however at 50 you could hear it in the back bedroom as if the TV was in the room with you you can hear better back there than in the living room where the TV actually was. Not great for keeping peace in the family. I can control the sound bar with my TV remote turn the volume up and down with the same remote I can hear it clearly as though I've got a surround sound system I can now listen to it comfortably in the living room and hear the shows I'm listening to without everyone in the house having to listen to what I was watching on the TV. It is wonderful on movie night, we turn the subwoofer up a little higher along with the bass And we get that movie theater feel from the comfort of our own living room. I am quite happy with my purchase and I would highly suggest and recommend you give it a try it might just surprise you.
