Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not for me The watch was a breeze to set up and has a beautiful display. The controls were intuitive and I was generally pleased with app functionality. Phone calls through the watch were clear on both ends. All that said, the last paragraph is in past tense because I've already returned the watch. I came to this watch from a FitBit Versa 3, and I regretted it from almost minute one. Firstly, I hate the way notifications happen. When my wrist vibrates, I want to look down, read the notification, and move on. The whole animation first, then switching over to the text thread or whatever, was annoying 10,000 times a day. Next, S Health is pretty much a 1-star app, especially coming from FitBit. It also wouldn't sync with the health problem at my job so I had to get a third party app to sync my steps back to FitBit. Third, and the most notable issue which sealed it's fate, is the astonishing lack of battery life combined with outrageously slow charging. I want to wear my watch at night, then charge it while I shower. Absolutely no way for this to happen with this watch. My full battery was in the low 20s or teens by the morning, and the half hour charge while I got ready had it charged only into the 30s, which would only last maybe half a day if I was lucky. I'm not going to be tethered to a charged, period, not for any device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek design, features but activity tracking Had this for 2 weeks, it delivers what a smartwatch should do, notification, buds control, measure steps, heart rate, ... I swim and the watch cannot detect butterfly, sometimes get the turns wrong and calculate wrong length. Heart rate is way higher (30+) than Fitbit in exercises, I don't think that is accurate.

I've had my galaxy watch 4 44mm for about 8 months now and I must say that when paired with my S21 Ultra and my galaxy buds pro's it makes using those 2 devices a rewarding and fluid experience. Between being able to control music,videos,my buds, managing phone calls and texts without touching my phone or buds that in itself makes the galaxy watch worth it. There is a plethora of useful functionality to this watch and I'm so glad I made the decision to buy it and the fact that Samsung financed it to me at a great deal was just to icing on the cake. I'm able to track my sleep, get direction on how to improve upon my sleep habits, eating habits , health advice and monitoring, turn by turn navigation, etc etc. The list goes on and on and I think Samsung does an Awesome job at making useful devices at a affordable price and even help you with no interest financing. I brag to everyone on how good of a company Samsung. Just about every single close family member of mine uses Samsung devices and none of us have any issues whatsoever. SAMSUNG KNIGHTS UNITE!!

Especially watch had health check program which I love and my girlfriend love it as well!! Let’s go galaxy!!!!

I can sleep with it and don't recognize it on my wrist which is what I like. It does everything the watch active 2 does and more. It looks and feels better. I love this watch!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10 Grades Higher than the Previous Gen Ok ... so I will preface this by saying that I am truly a Samsung fan in the sense that I don't like APPLE at all, think Google offers great products, and am not again trying other brands or manufacturers, although I usually don't! After owning a Galaxy Watch3 from the time it came out until the 4 was made available, the experience I have had had with my new Watch4, blows the Watch3 out the water ... now grant it ... there are many similarities in the features of functionality of both, and maybe I just had a defective Watch3 ... but my Watch3 had a mind of it's own and only worked when it wanted ... i.e. it would never wake up when i needed to tell the time, despite the settings accurately set at Wake when I raise my wrist, not to mention it would just become unresponsive at least once a day to the point i would have to force reset it. All of these were even after a warranty repair for the similar issue. Plus, my charger just stopped mysteriously working and I had to buy another. But the Watch4 has been AMAZING! I have not faced any of the issues with Watch4 that I was facing with the Watch4 and I love the new design and the wait it looks on my wrist. The way the band fastens is also a huge hit in my book as once it's on, I feel it's pretty secure ... as ironically I had my watch3 fall off a couple times because I thought it was fastened. Definitely happy with this purchase ...

I love the features like automatic workout detection, being able to handles messages and calls right from my wrist, and all the customization options. Definitely recommend and especially for those with other Galaxy devices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best in the lineup so far! With every new watch, the expectation is that you are getting something more remarkable than the last. Well, Samsung certainly did not disappoint this time around. The Galaxy Watch 4 is brilliant. The screen is vibrant, and it has such a seamless flow between it and my phone, Much smoother than in the Active 2 and Watch 3. I appreciate the fact that they allowed us to choose between the classic style and the more modern-looking version. Having that choice meant a lot for me as a female. I don't want a watch that looks like a man should be wearing it, and the classic feels that way to me. The screen and animations are beautiful, and the fact that they have allowed you to pull in your apps from Google Pay is brilliant and was definitely needed!!

The oxygen saturation feature and snore recording functions have prompted me to go back to my pulmonologist and start wearing my CPAP again. I wish the battery lasted longer but I can't complain too much because it charges fast. I am a Samsung lifer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally Google OS with caveats I purchased this watch as an upgrade to my Watch Active 2. In many ways this watch does represent a step up in function to my previous one. Overall, I do like the styling of the watch. The added features are great, and it's good to finally have a watch that has an OS that has a supported ecosystem (I'm looking at you, Galaxy Store). There are however some very large caveats to this watch. Wear OS, but... Don't expect full Google integration or app support just yet. You can do most things other Wear OS watches can, but there isn't Google Fit integration and the watch funnels all info to the Samsung Health app... and there is no way to sync between the two apps. This needs to be done both on the watch AND on all Samsung phones. Battery life Battery life on this watch is dismal. On my Watch Active 2 I could have constant HR and Stress monitoring on and it would last a whole day. With periodic monitoring the watch lasted 2 days. The Watch 4 won't last half a day with constant monitoring. You can only set the heart rate to periodic monitoring at the time of review and it still barely lasts a little over a day. I can't even sleep track without taking it off my wrist and slapping it on the charger for an hour. This watch is much much bigger than the Active 2, but the battery seems to be an afterthought. Size The Watch 4 is fairly tall. Expect to get it caught on clothes. I have a case around mine to keep it relatively scratch free as a necessity. Also, the metal that comes off the sides where the band attaches will snag everything with the sharp corners if like me you had to get a 3rd party strap. Still not a great strap The strap that came with my Watch 4 was still too short. The L/XL band was barely able to clasp on the last hole (it fit fine over my wrist, but Samsung needs to make the bands larger because you need to wear this higher on your wrist about an inch up from the wrist bone. The good - more features (body measurement) - Finally using Google Wear OS (can use Google App store) The bad - Battery life is a joke - Tall body and sharp metal edge to snag everything - Short strap - Samsung still omitting Google features and forcing you to use their apps

It has more features and is easy to navigate through. I've been very happy with the performance and appearance and am excited for the upcoming updates. Definitely recommend the Galaxy Watch 4!

I upgraded from the active 2 and was hesitant because of the reviews on the battery life. I am so glad I got it anyway. Not only is the battery life not an issue it is alot better than expected. Fully charged my watch lasts me about 2 days, when it does need to charge it takes about an hour or two to fully charge. I have no complaints about this purchase.

The only downside is the charging speed its way too slow for what others are doing. From 0 to 100 it takes over 2 hours which is just too much. The design is very modern and sleek its just a really good looking watch. I like the square sides with a round top. The circular screen is nice a very bright and visible with sunglasses on and the screen is facing the sun. I can still read the texts. The touch bezel could be more responsive but is very nice to navigate widgets. All around a 4out of 5. I can not complain for just 280$ for the large watch 4. And if you like the touch bezel another 100$ is really good value for what your getting. Especially compared to apple.
