Expensive assumption
I purchased my Samsung S9 tab Ultra today from my local Best Buy. One of my major reasons for this purchase was that I don't have WiFi. This would be a great convenient tablet only to discover later that it does not support LTE 5G. This was a horrible discovery for me. I would have never imagine this would be the case. Otherwise I think it's a terrific tablet, just not sure how I'm going to use it now and get updates.

Wifi 6E breaking issues, but a good tablet
Has major problems with wifi 6e, frequent drops in connection. Wifi 6 however works wonderfully with only very infrequent disconnects. Compared to a z fold3 wifi 6e/wifi6, this tablet is extremely disappointing. Highly recommend to avoid this device if you are buying it for wifi 6e features.
Otherwise this tablet is a nice upgrade from a galaxy s7, nice oled screen and faster cpu (but not 512gb on the 11").
The cpu and ram also make a huge difference, this tablet is able to run more apps, stream content and do other work on the tablet.

iPad Pro convert. This thing is awesome
This tablet is amazing. I'm coming from an M1 iPad Pro 12.9 and Samsung's entire concept behind this tablet is so much better. The aspect ratio makes content consumption amazing. It's just about as wide as an ipad Pro but the length and the way android handles social media make it a better experience web browsing and consuming social media. Dex is a much better experience than stage manager. In real world use it's just as fast as the ipad. The S9 Ultra isn't perfect but it's so good that I'm getting rid of the iPad pro.

Best tablet I’ve owned for use as a main computer
I am very impressed with the s9 Ultra. I traded in my s8 plus fearing I would regret getting the bigger screen. I was wrong. This tablet really is the best one yet. I use it as both a laptop with the Samsung keyboard cover and as an entertainment device with just the stand. A few months ago, I made the switch from using a laptop to using a tablet as my main device. I figured tablet are getting pretty good at doing that. My main device before getting the s9 Ultra was the iPad Pro M2. Well, after using the s9 ultra for about a month, I must say, it works much better as a computing device than the M2 pro thanks to Samsung Dex. It really makes the biggest difference in being able to split a tablet between using it as a tablet and as a computer. There hasn’t been anything I’ve needed to do that I haven’t been able to do. The only issue would be opening gmail within the Chrome browser - for some reason it doesn’t open correctly. I have to use the gmail app for that, unfortunately. Other than that, this tablet is the best tablet I’ve owned.

Wifi only, huge let down!
My only reason for not rating this tablet 5 stars is the fact it's wifi only connection. If I had known this I would not have purchased the tablet. This was a huge let down for me.

Bought a galaxy 9s ultra , love it except many website don't rotate even the setting are correct.
It's a bummer can't use it to bad, will unfortunately return it. Owen several products like tv, s23 phone
plus an 7 year tab 8 which is still awesome. Ending up getting an laptop.

Great tablet, but performance is somewhat lacking.
This device is incredible. Especially now with the 12GB memory and 512GB storage configuration costing $199.01 cheaper than the 512GB configuration on the iPad Pro, with 50% less memory. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is a blazing fast processor, although it is less powerful than the M2 or M1 iPad Pros. I would say it is in between the A12Z and M1, edging closer to the A12Z in most applications. The OLED display is wonderful, although I would wish a adaptive refresh rate like the S23 Ultra. It is massive, and paired with the Book Cover Keyboard can be a good laptop replacement (in some aspects). The S-Pen is great. I love drawing, so it being inculded in the box is incredible. No power brick though, but I would recommend the Anker 733 65W power brick and 10000mAh powerbank, for only $99.99, it is a killer deal. The camera are good, especially the front-facing one. Center Stage is no need as here it is actually placed in landscape. in conclusion, I would give this a 4.4/5, rounds closer to a 4, but close enough to a 5. A solid B+

Screen is great, but with a big caveat
My review is based on a comparison between the S9 Ultra and S8 Ultra.
Let’s start with the things that I like.
Speaker:
This is the best overall upgrade that I noticed. This new S9 Ultra speaker system has a very wide stage – providing a great 3D surround sound experience. The base is rich, volume is great. I am amazed by the performance of these tiny speakers from a very thin tablet. Samsung did a great job on this.
Screen Refresh rate:
I found the scrolling of screen is noticeably smoother than the S8 Ultra. A step closer to match the performance of the Samsung’s competitor pro tablet.
Screen color, contrast, and brightness:
The color is richer and has more contrast than the S8 Ultra when viewing HDR contents. Brightness is another improvement over the S8 Ultra. The S9 Ultra is noticeably brighter when viewing HDR contents under bright condition. Dark scenes are now more viewable in S9 Ultra than the S8 Ultra.
Performance:
I don’t use the tablet for processing intensive tasks as I mainly use it for internet browsing and movie watching. As such I don’t have any comment on the performance aspect.
As for the thing that I don’t like…
Screen sideview:
Like I mentioned above, the S9 Ultra screen is great – the color and contrast are great, but it comes with a big caveat. The screen is great only when you look at it straight. When I look at the screen sideway, the top part or the left/right (depends on the angle of the sideview) portion of the screen has a reddish pink tint on it. This problem is very noticeable when viewing something that has a white background. Viewing a movie is less noticeable. It appears the problem is caused by some kind of coating on the screen. The S8 Ultra does not have this problem. I am very disappointed with this. I really wanted to love the S9 Ultra, the color, contrast and brightness is great, but I just can’t get past this sideview problem. For a flagship tablet that costs $1200, I expect everything to be perfect, but this sideview problem fell short. I am surprised that no one mentioned this problem in all the reviews that I have read. Maybe I got a defective unit or maybe it is a general problem with the screen, not sure…
External monitor screen brightness:
Another problem is when I connect the tablet to an external monitor to view a HDR content, the screen is very dark on the external monitor. This problem does not happen when viewing any non-HDR content like a website. I have the same problem with S8 Ultra. I don’t have this problem with Samsung’s competitor pro tablet. This is another area that I disappointed with Samsung.
Hope Samsung will take note of these problems, and make improvement to the future model. In the meanwhile, I will hold on to my S8 Ultra a little longer.
Attached are photos that illustrate the sideview problem. The one on the left is the S9 Ultra; the one on the right is the S8 Ultra. As you can see the S9 definitely has a problem with the reddish pink tint on the top portion of the screen.

I purchased this product from Samsung approximately a month ago. The tablet itself is a amazing. The included free keyboard cover is not. The keys tend to stick. Also, be cautious on any trade in. I traded in a competitors tablet and was told, after about 3 weeks that it had not been formatted back to original form. That.....is a bold face lie. Sooooo....I will now no longer receive any credit towards the tablet I have had for almost a month. If not for the amount of time I had the tablet, I would send it back to Samsung. Sooooo...do not trust what Samsung says as far as ANY upgrade credit towards a device.

Almost perfect
Review for Tab s9 Ultra with 512 mem. I purchased it here.
I am giving this a 4 star review for 2 reasons.
1. The tablet’s software was made for phones. You need your programmers to tweak your operating system to work with something this size. Your layout is so sloppy on this tablet. Some programs are blown up so big it is horrible to use.
I am legally blind. This is why I got the tablet but OMG like talk your team, to Amazon and some of your other big 3rd party app folks. You guys are failing this amazing tech in this area.
2. I have Z fold 4 and a S9 Ultra. WHY ARE MY STYLUS NOT COMPATABLE WITH BOTH? Let me ask this again for the people in the back. WHY ARE MY STYLUS NOT COMPATABLE WITH BOTH?
How much more money do I need to spend with your company. Send me a fracking stylist that can work with both and have a good magnet for the Ultra. There is no excuse for this. You did this on purpose. The person whose job it is to catch something like this needs to be fired. Gone. Bye Felicia.
Otherwise I am really liking my new tablet. I also love my fold. Everything is beyond good. Great products. I would highly recommend this product to a friend. The rest of you have done exceptionally well building some great products.
I have used them for a very long time. I am old enough to remember your phones in the late 80s. Now get off my lawn and fix this stylus issue.

Bought tab S9 Ultra. The tablet this big supposed to be made for creative professionals using the included pen. I found the tablet has a panel has a pink tint when viewed at any angle. Sometimes it exhibit pinkish rainbows on the screen. The question I'm begging to ask is how artists supposed to use this tablet with this defect?
