Amazing phone!
Went from an A11 to the S23+ and couldn't be happier. Fast, super crisp screen. Nearly no lag opening apps. Plenty of storage. Surprisingly sharp sound with fair amount of bass out of such a small speaker. Great investment running AT&T's reliable 5G service. I live outside of any big towns and always get a great signal. Couldn't be happier with my S23+.

The best Samsung smartphone to date
I’m really impressed with the Samsung galaxy s23+ I believe it’s the best smartphone that Samsung has ever made. I’ve gotten three days of battery life on a single charge. And I haven’t had to do any tweaks to get that great battery life. The phone feels buttery smooth and fluid. It’s the perfect size as well, I was thinking about getting the ultra but it’s just too long and I hope that Samsung would only make phones that are 6.7 inches and a little bit wider. These long and narrow phones are kinda ridiculous to me. I also pray to the heavens above that Samsung doesn’t start pulling that apple crap. You know, taking things away from us while charging us more money. I think apple has forgotten that it’s the consumer who made them who they are. And they have a problem with giving the consumer what they want. So please Samsung don’t do that. I truly believe that Samsung could take over the smartphone industry if they had better support for their products. Meaning, have their own stores that people can visit like the Apple stores. Market their products better than Apple because personally I’m sick of Apple and they’re sheep. Don’t take away the SIM card for no reason just because apple did it. I hate having to call my carrier every time I want to switch phones. Keep the good deals going because Apple doesn’t offer them at all and they give you something that they call a smartphone but doesn’t do smart things. Samsung gives you a true computer in your pocket.

Vast improvement
I bought this phone a fre weeks ago during Xfinity promotion. I chose my carrier over an unlocked from Samsung. I didn't need all the free trial apps included. I upgraded from trusty old S9. Transferring my stuff was easy. Have had no issues.Xfinity does load up the phone like my previous carrier did.

So far pretty amazing phone. As other have said. Battery life is great. I switch back and forth from iPhone to android (usually a galaxy) every couple years. This one has not disappointed so far. I like it alot. Love my customization features. I do wish you could draw in messages like on iPhones. Just draw a cute picture and send it to my lady. Very powerful phone tho. Super smooth and crisp.

I made the right decision to purchase this phone.
I purchased and received two Samsung Galaxy S23 plus phones. Great phones but Samsung will never be better than Huawei smartphones. I don't understand why this phone has less than 5000 mah battery life. It should have been between 5000-6000 mah battery level. Huawei battery life is fantastic. Lasts all day. Samsung Galaxy S23 plus colors look very boring. Huawei colors on their smartphones are very attractive. I would still recommend Samsung over Motorola.

Not very impressed.
For the first time after more than 10 years with Samsung I'm not happy with this time of upgrade from my s20+ Every other time of upgrade I always happy and enjoyed the new Samsung phone. This is not, the new s23+ makes me missed my old one, the design, the software, the camera they're about the same or worse than the s20+ now I'm waiting for the next year or maybe the othe Android phone from Google, OnePlus etc

Always used samsung since they came out with the s6. The S23+ is probably the best phone in my opinion. Haven't had any problems with it.

Bring back the physical fingerprint reader
I just upgraded from my S9+ to the S23+ after switching carriers. Generally speaking the phone meets all my expectations from Samsung. What I hate is the on-screen fingerprint reader. The size of the phone and the location of the reader makes it impossible to use one-handed while doing things like opening secured apps that require a pin/passphrase or fingerprint. At least my S9+ had the iris scan that most apps accepted as an alternate biometric input...
All-in-all, Samsung really took a few steps backward when they did the biometric functionality in this phone. I'll be glad when my 3 yrs is up with the new carrier and I can look at dumping this phone for something a bit more useful with one hand.

Great phone!
I bought this phone about 3 months ago, when my Galaxy S10+ started to fail (battery swelled). The Samsung rep., Jan, did a remote diagnosis and determined that the battery was failing, and the phone needed to be replaced. He helped me to order the S23+ and arranged for a full trade-in value of my S10+. The S23+ is much faster and operates much more smoothly. The camera is also incredible, taking awesome pictures. I'm glad to have the new phone and Samsung techs that helped to troubleshoot the problem with my previous phone and offer options.

Quality decline
Doesn't back its products. Purchased phone with manufacturer defect ( green line on screen). Known defect on these screen just got the run around from company just kept passing me from one depth to another

Great Phone, Amazing Overall

Phone didn't even with a charger.
I was uniquely disappointed when I opened the box that I was only provided a cord and not a usable charging method. Thanks.
Also, the fingerprint reader (regardless of how times I've calibrated it) can't read my nearly as well as my last phone which was instant everything.
With this, I've already contacted my provider (Google Fi) for a potential return but know there is a time limit.
Please consider this review for future users to make it better.
