Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product that doesn't last They were great for a while. The seamless connection with my phone, the design, and even sound quality were great. But what led me to get rid of them was the fact that when I wore them for extended periods of time (which is part of my job) i found that at least one of the earbuds would lose its volume...this would usually be fixed with a bit of detailed cleaning but one day it didn't and I was left with one earbud sounding fainter than the rest...even using the accessibility feature that allows you to shift the audio to one ear caused the quality of the audio to drop completely. However this only happened 2 years after I got them so I will still recommend but don't be surprised if they wear off after a year and a half

Yes they slip out if you have a lot of ear wax (so just clean your ears lol) but sound and quality are excellent. So easy to use for exercising and work, connects to all of my devices with no issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from sucks This earbuds sucks. didnt last more than a few months and i already starting hearing sounds like whistling in a very high pitch. than after a while the volume was very low. i followed all the recommended maintenance but nothing really helped. also it wasnt useful at all for making phone calls, nobody was able to hear me clearly. stay away from this earbuds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The BEST product ever, after 3 earbuds this is perfect earbuds i've been looking for! i had buds live, plus, pro but for my small ear this is perfect fit. it's total package of each products' advantages. long battery, comfortable fit, light weight, high sound quality and anc. i love it so much! that's why i purchased a lavender for my bestie's bd gift. if you are hesitating between pro and buds, check two things; enjoying low base music -> pro having big ear holes -> pro except that all in for buds2 it's worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY IF YOU WORK IN DUSTY ENVIRONMENT i have had issues with sound quality in the right earpiece from the day i bought them. i hoped that a software update would fix it and when it didn't, i sent it in for a warranty repair. i received an email today stating that because there was dust inside (i thought these were supposed to be sealed), the warranty is null and void. they are now trying to charge me $105 to repair my buds (which currently is the same price as if i would just buy a new pair). in the same work environment, i have used my airpod pro's for years and they never had any issues. samsung phones are the best androids you can buy but do not buy the samsung buds2 if you work near any dust. they will get dirty and void any warranty per their tech support. they apparently are not sealed from dust in any way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The fit is way off!! i ordered these and i do admit that they sound very nice, however the fit of these buds are way off. i would put them in my ears and i would feel them starting to slip after only a few minutes. i tried the company's suggestion in changing the ear tips but i continued to have problems with the fit. unfortunately, due to the poor fit, i lost one of the ear buds. where? i have no idea. so now i have one brand new earbud.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not great i've had the original galexy buds and the buds+, these are the worst of the three. the material is super slippery and can easily slip out of you hand and ears. i also was expecting a better battery life but they go dead in about 4 hours, which was really disappointing because the other galexy buds battery's i can get about 8 hrs or more

Making sure they connect properly due to them not sitting right is even worse I did change the tips to each size but it is hit or miss.

Sometimes they begin giving constant static feedback in one ear or the other , it's not consistent, and one ear suddenly drops quieter than the other. Samsung has hardly any support to help with these issues and when they offer solutions they don't work. Try a little harder next time Samsung. Would not recommend

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ear Infections i am a huge fan of samsung!! unfortunately these earbuds missed the mark for me. i get really bad ear infections after wearing them. i have washed and disinfected the plugs multiple times and it doesn't fix the issue. as of now the earbuds sit in a drawer unused. i don't want to give them away or sale them for fear i might cause someone else to have the same problem.

Love the color and case, but need better in ear design. Touch controls can be a problem at times. I enjoy the buds for features and sound but just need help in that area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cannot recommend Samsung earbuds worked fine, i liked them even. however the right earbud got damaged so i sent them in for repair, they worked still just no longer water resistant. the repair cost was close 85% of the cost of the earbuds themselves. their only solution was to have me trade them in for 30 dollars toward new ones. which is a joke. i cannot recommend samsung for anything at this point, and will be moving on to a different brand that cares about their customers even a little bit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The look great! initial impressions were great! unfortunately after using it for a while i slightly regret trading in my buds live. i dont use it for any thing active but the buds constantly fall out of my ears with all of the ear tips. the sound quality was great, but recently my right earbud has started to crackle after 3 months of ownership. i tried following all the steps in the trouble shoot guid to no avail. i think im going to trade in a pair of my 1st gen buds that i use at work to get a discount on another set of buds live.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound, terrible fit i recently purchased these headphones and while i have to say the sound is amazing, the design for the fit is absolutely terrible ! i have tried the different sizes for the ear pieces, i constantly check to make sure i have them in properly using the app, i have watched all of the informative videos on youtube but nothing has helped the situation. i am not impressed with the style. i cannot make much movement or talk because they slide out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed these buds2 sound great, the voice quality during call is also very good, and the software for managing the buds2 is good. however what good are any of these things if they won’t stay in in your ear. the tips provided don’t work for me, i’d rather have the wingtips. the wingtip is such a simple (i would imagine in expensive) solution to help keep the buds from falling out of the ear. it's sad something as simple as wingtips can make an otherwise really good product useless, especially when you consider the price of the buds2. i'll use these until i either lose one or one becomes damaged from falling out of my ear. without the wingtips, these are a major step backwards. i'm very disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Falls out in minutes if you're lucky the buds have terrible retention and slide out of the ear in under a minute if you're standing. they stay in for up to 5 if you are just sitting down and not turning your head. the only point of retention on them is the rubber stopper that goes into the ear canal. my girlfriend has tiny ears and ear canals and when she initially put them in, it seemed like they worked perfectly for her, but every subsequent use is the same result as when i was trying to use them, falling out in minutes. the regular galaxy buds are infinitely better and have a little rubber fin that helps keep the buds comfortably in your ears securely for hours, so they should re-use the design features of those with whatever upgraded technology for the new iteration of buds.

I would like to see some tweaks to software for managing each bud individually when only able to wear 1, when case is closed, and a change to the tips for ear fit/comfort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm MADDDDDDD!!!! i was extra excited to get them and once i did, the first thing i noticed is that they do not stay in my ears. i have tried all the different sizes that the buds come with to make sure i wasn't tripping. and guess what? i wasn't tripping. they are garbage. i'm mad because i paid over $150 for them but have not used them at all. they're just sitting and collecting dust. i missed my deadline to return and exchange for a different product. i feel like i threw money down the drain. i even thought about selling them but i would not recommend these buds to my worst enemy so i guess they will just sit until i gather up enough will power to finally toss them in the trash and accept the fact that i just lost all this money that i spent on them. smh. somebody give me a virtual hug

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not worth the headaches my galaxy buds+ battery was slowly dying so i decided to try the pro's, had them for 5 days and returned them because they fell out even just while sitting still. opted to try the buds 2 and the same thing, but added you cannot control music, with the exception of pausing. the only difference, i will not wait a week. they are going back today. such a disappointment and waste of my time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small, light and good sound. the only major complaint is that it doesn't always stay in. would like an earpiece like on the older level where there were some additional things to hold it. minor complaint, the battery for the case doesn't show in my s21. everything else is fine battery life could be longer but i use 1 at a time so it lasts twice as long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad design no matter what i do these will not stay in my ears. i rarely had this issue with the buds+, and i miss the feature of ambient noise with just one headphone. i dont understand why that feature was removed. having one headphone in still dulls your hearing and i liked the ambient noise while in my office.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from actually a downgrade in almost every category i was excited to get these - the noise cancellation, the look, the expectation of upgraded performance. other than the noise cancellation these headphones are worse in every way than earbuds plus or even earbuds 1. they do not stay in your ear well. touch mechanism is not great. interaction with sweat is unreal. shopping experience also sucks. i'll never buy direct from samsung again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Constantly falling out was so excited when i got these as a gift because i had wanted them for a while - not worth it. the sound is incredible and the noise cancelling function is one of the main reasons i wanted it - but they are constantly falling out of my ears. i put them in correctly, exactly the way they want me to but with even the smallest size ear piece they dont fit comfortably and when i try to work out in them they fall out midway into an exercise. i had to hold them in while moving. they are also so sensitive that every time i touch them to adjust the music stops. super disapointing and frustrating

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functional Downgrade from Buds+ went from buds+ to buds2, the sound was improved and noise cancellation is a nice added feature but functionally there were issues with fit, battery and connectivity. the buds2 would not remain in my ear with any of the attachments, the fell out often just during normal daily activity let alone while exercising. the battery on buds2 did not last throughout my workday (even with active noise cancellation off) while buds+ last through the day and then some. the buds2 would often disconnect and reconnected to my windows pc while actively working. the touch controls often stopped working for pc. and the connection would drop from a much shorter distance while wearing the buds2 when compared to buds+.

Third, for my uses, I find their charge and the case charge to be more than adequate. I'm very happy with my purchase! I have no trouble with them falling out, though I didn't initially realize they came with different sizes of ear pieces. I was much happier with the fit of the smallest size. I use these while sitting, walking, talking, so I can't speak to use during heavy exercise. My husband can hear me very clearly on the phone, even in a vehicle with 1 bud in. I also can hear calls very clearly and am happy with the quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW! i should have picked these when i got my watch 4 but hesitated. i had to come back for them and i am so happy i did! i have never owned ear buds with anc or ambient sound but now i really love these features. i appreciate the ablility to customize them to my needs and of course the sound! i find the sound to be very full and clear and i appreciate that i can switch between ambient and anc & choose different modes in the app. they fit in my ears very well, are very comfortable & secure for me with both the small and medium tips. i chose the olive color and they are perfect. i am a very happy customer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not good for exercise pro: i think the sound quality is great and it's extremely easy to set up. con: i tried jogging with these and i had to constantly re-adjust them to keep them in my ears and one still fell out twice. sometimes when i would adjust them the touch/tap system would pause, skip, or go to previous song which was annoying. other times i would intentionally double tap to play next song and it wouldn't work but would loosen the bud instead. i did switch to smaller inserts on the buds which helped some but still had all the same issues. overall: good buds for stationary or very low key activities. bad buds if you get these for working out. the fit/design needs improvement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Missing my Galaxy Buds+ i honestly regretting my decision to update the buds from buds+ to buds2. they are not staying in ears, they are to slick , falling out, and when i am working out - and obviously sweating - i just can not use them. if wet hair touches the surface of the device all touch controls become disable, the volume will go up or down with no control, and the device will not react to finger touch commands. on another hand, i love the sound quality and noise reduction, and the app of the buds. but wish the design will be better with the next generation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good sound but virtually no location features loved the buds for the month i had them. lost the case with one bud inside of it and the location sound feature doesnt work if there is a bud inside the case. terrible design. the case itself comes with no tracking feature and there is no place to attach a smarttag. all in all this is pretty poor design for tracking and location of a product that is exceptionally easy to lose track of.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not as good as Buds+ the earbuds are smaller and more round. pretty much 0 edges. this causes them to fall out very easily regardless of what size insert you use. mic quality feels lower. audio quality is pretty much the same or i didn't notice a difference. they removed the rubber ring from around the ear which made the earbud never move. lastly not all the functions work the same. my biggest dislike of the functions is that now you cant use ambient sound while only 1 earbud is in. this can be changed in software updates but its just not good. im a person that wears 1 earbud and so this function was super useful to me. i think that you are better off getting the galaxy buds+ rather than the buds2. the design is better and the functions are better. i returned mine and got buds+

So my only problem is the battery drains even when not in use. I misplaced one bud in my house and didn't realize it until a couple of days later. We have tried the find my earbuds feature on galaxy wearables and no sound. So now I get to work on the area I believe it was last at and go through ALL the bins I just organized... LoL So besides that little setback, these are the best ear buds I've had in a while!.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quite Disappointing don't get me wrong, the sound quality is fine, but no matter what i do, i cannot keep these galaxy buds2 in my ears! they drop out so easily, even if i'm just sitting at my desk on a call. forget about even trying to wear them to run, or even walk around my house! when either bud falls out and i try to put it back in, it disconnects from the call. the app is set to have the touch controls shut off, so i don't know why it keeps disconnecting. not good when you are in a conference call with several of your colleagues!

Received the preorder offer which set up my galaxy buds to go with my beautiful Z Flip 3. I made sure to get 2 cases, all from my preorder credit! Since I use it as my work phone, flex mode lets me work at a level that I never have. I seriously am in love. Thank you Samsung for the evolutionary phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The first top tier simple earbuds I bought these on pre order and I am proud to say these galaxy buds 2 compromise for many of the problems of the buds plus, pro, and original buds It's because of the smaller size which creates a subtle look in my ears as well as active noise cancellation for an affordable price. That doesnt even include the trade in offered. My next favorite part is the green color since it is unique and provides a clean look for the buds as well as their small size. And the battery life has been amazing. I sometimes forget to charge them for days but if I do I just stick it on the wireless charging pad and it charges quick. I don't even check the percentage of the buds on the app anymore since I know they will last. But I still have a Galaxy S8 and dont get to use the buds with the S21 to use all the full features. But anyway this is a strong buy if you want simple effective and affordable earbuds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cheap Horrible. Always dead, don't like the heat (I live in New Mexico), don't charge, don't stay in your ear. Every few minutes when you have to adjust them, the song gets paused or skipped to the next. Do better Samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nope. wouldn't buy again. inititally the sound was fine. now, after eight-nine minths of use the sound is terrible, and the ear pieces fit awkwardly. if you sweat at all they pop out or slide around, no matter the size. i purchased these in september of 2022 and the right bud started making a horrible rattling sound about a month ago and then started working intermittently. the touch features are also incredibly sensitive, and touching the buds to adjust them in my ears made the volume and song skip go nuts. not worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beware of allergic reaction Although I have no complaints about sound quality or it's features I can no longer use them. I get an ear infection EVERYTIME I use them. Yes, I clean them and replaced tips with other tips that came in the box and get a reaction with brand new clean tips. Do your research before buying these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound Quality Picked up a pair for $50 at a local resale place. Definitely worth it. I had the original buds and they were good, but these are way better. I run a saw a at work and with the noise canceling on and the volume up I can't hear anything but music. The bass comes through clear and they have the best sound quality I've heard in a pair of earbuds. Only reason it not 5 stars is because the fit is a little off and sometimes they start to hurt ears if in for 8 hours a day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loud Ringing I bought these in April 2022 and they worked relatively okay up until a week ago when all of the sudden one of them started to produce a loud ringing noise but no sound otherwise. I tried troubleshooting with everything I found online but nothing worked.

I can't tell you how many times I accidentally washed my earbuds in their case and out if their case and I've still got great sound quality. Nothing was compromised. Not just my pros, my original galaxy buds too. I upgraded to the pros when my earbuds went quiet. Whether it was due to dropping them everyday or washing them every month I don't know but I got a solid few years use out of them. I'm happy with all my Samsung earbuds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features, but horrible fit I've had these earbuds for over a year now, and initially I loved them. Great sound, great ANC, ambient noise feature is nice, and the price isn't outrageous. However they have since become a piece of plastic collecting dust on my desk. Why you ask? Because these won't stay in for more than a few minutes before they slip out. CONSTANTLY. Which is super frustrating when you are trying to use them for calls/meetings, and are constantly fumbling with them to twist them back in your ear. People then can't hear me, either because they've slipped out of alignment or I'm fiddling with it to try and get them to stay. The super slick plastic is a poor design choice. These are generally touted as being great and comfortable for smaller ears, however I'd beg to differ. They are clunky and never sit comfortably, sticking way our from my ear canal. My ears ache after I take them out, even after shorter amounts of time like 20-30 minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible Fit i'm going to be honest the fit is terrible. if all you are going to do is just sit and listen to music, and do no movement at all these will be perfect for you. i recently had my galaxy buds stolen and was torn between these and the galaxy buds+, but i see now that should have went with the buds+. i workoutand no matter what i try i cannot get them yo stay in my ears. i tried the "fit test", i've tried using their guilds on how to wear them, but if i'm being honest you should have to go through all this for some headphones. samsung really should go back to the original buds design due to it having a way better user experience. these sound pretty good when there no movement but overall don't waste your money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A gamble that paid off I am not an earbuds kind of person. I only bought these because they were at a good price. I expected they would make my ear "inch" like everyone I have had in the past and expected they would not fit well. I was wrong on both accords. I don't know why these are not making my ears itch, but I won't complain. It took a little to get these into my ear comfortably, but I got it and Wow they ar pretty comfortable, I kind of wish they were just a tad smaller, though. The sound is very good and the noise cancellation seems to work well to the point I can't use that feature in certain situations. I saw reviews where they said the sound and quality were lacking but I couldn't disagree more. I would recommend these as long as you get them at t good price. I would guess that these probably wouldn't measure up to those bose or beats brand, but I am not about spending that kind of money for some earbuds for the namebrand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from inconsistent function sent these in once as a warranty issue to resolve consistant ringing. warranty process was nice, and they handled that issue. still inconsistent function. sometime ambient noise cancel works in one not the other, when connected to my computer, often reverbing and poor sound quality. touch functions are not tight/reactive or easy to use. they also work inconsistently. not very into these buds. any feature and performance quality doesn't mean anything when it doesn't work right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I got the lavender one & theyre a very cute color! i had the first earbuds that came out. the first samsung galaxy buds but then i saw a lavender one & it was a must have! but when i first got them i am not able to change the music, i can only pause & pick up/hang up when someone calls :/. i wish i was able to change the music so i wont have to take my phone out of my pocket everytime just to change the music. i dont know if thats how the earbuds are or mine just dont work :/.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute and Lovely Works as advertised. Love the olive green, since it is a soft and subtle, not abrasive shade of green. I normally like my eaebuds either black, gray, or bright red, but I can't use colored headphones in uniform, so this green is just the right color for me to feel not basic but also not stand out. The noise canceling is good and comparable with the latest iPhone earbuds (compared with my roommate who has Apple products). The ambient noise feature is fun for my hate for silence when studying. The soft wind or wave sounds are comforting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cannot use these look great and i'm loving the case compared to buds plus. but they just keep sliding out after a little bit. even with the right ear bud size. samsung needs to add a something keep it from slipping out of your ear. the buds plus had wing that worked great! i tried with different size bud. i went for a walk after 20 min they kept sliding out. imagine a real workout. it's a let down. they sound great if i would just stay in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible Fit i'm not sure what ear these were designed to fit, but if your ears vary slightly from their shape, be prepared to readjust constantly. for added fun, any touch to a readjust will also activate functions unintentionally. the input required is just too sensitive. i 've switched back to using $30 amazon headphones that sound as good or better, and can actually stay in my ear for more than 1 minute.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buds Pro I have only been using these for two weeks. There really isn't much of a difference between Galaxy Buds 2 and the Buds Plus other than price. So if I were trying to decide between purchasing one over the other, I would purchase the Buds 2. They cost $50 less than the Buds Pro and they are noticeably lighter. Since they are lighter they feel better in your ears which translates into longer wear time and they are less likely to fall out of your ears. If I had the choice between the two when I bought my Buds Pro I would have bought the Buds 2.
