Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible experience! I received a product with missing component. The process to correct this was incredibly difficult. I had to interact with over a dozen people. Ridicules. It will defiantly have an impact on purchasing any Samsung products in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have, well worth it, definitely recommend! Excellent accessorie for my Samsung Tab S9 Ultra, must have for those who wants that tablet to Android Dex windows inspired laptop conversion on the go at your finger tips. Also great use for tablet stand in landscape mode as well. Definitely recommends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Laptop Experience This cover case is a world of improvement compared to the previous one on my Tab S7 FE. The addition to a track pad is wonderful. Works just like a laptop keyboard. The adjustable stand on the back is great. I'm not sure how long it'll last, but it feels sturdy for now. Only down side to that, is that it didn't sit in your lap well, unless you have pretty long legs. On a TV and normal table though, it's perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Back cover great, keyboard meh... I bought this expecting to use my Ultra tablet as a computer but the keyboard and mouse pad just didn't feel the same. It was a bit laggy and not as quick as a real laptop. I understand that this product wasn't trying to replace a laptop but for 350 plus the Ultra tablet the purchase of the keyboard not really worth it in my opinion. The reason I'm giving this a 2 star and not a 1 star is because I really like the back piece. I wish they sold the back piece separately. For some reason it's better than the smart book cover. It's more stable and easier to hold. But I'm sadly retured it because 350 was way to much for a back cover and the keyboard isn't worth 350....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy Tablet Keyboard: Good Feel, No Drop Safety **Pros:** - Comfortable to the touch. - Keyboard has a good typing response. - Durable hinge that holds its position well. - Keyboard flips to the back, convenient for tablet use. **Cons:** - Keyboard flexes, though stable on solid surfaces. - No drop protection; handle like an unprotected ultrabook. - Not ideal for heavy tablet users or frequent handheld use. - Difficult to type on when using on your lap. **Summary:** The keyboard feels great and is perfect for desk use with its sturdy hinge and ability to flip for easy writing. The pen storage is straightforward—no fiddling with magnets necessary. However, it's not the best for lap use or if you're looking for something to safeguard against drops. Ideal for users who primarily work at a table and want a keyboard that stays put without needing constant removal, especially on the go or in a class.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mouse cursor goes away The quality of the keyboard didn't really meet my expectations. The keyboard works and is functional, but there are times where the mouse cursor will completely disappear and I would have to re-attach the keyboard for it to show up again. Also, whenever I would type in a word on the Google Chrome search engine, the letters would get mixed up and I would have to rewrite the word all over again, but then it would work fine afterwards. Im not sure if anyone else is having this problem or if it's just my keyboard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Price gouging, 350 dollars for a keyboard. What on earth makes this 350 dollars? If you want to beat Apple have it come with the stupid thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Way overpriced! $330 for a case with a simple keyboard and trackpad? Samsung is really going in dry with this pricey item. Not worth it. You can trade in and get a Tab S9 for cheaper than this CASE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely worst Keyboard money can buy An exquisite piece of true Garbage. If the beautiful Galaxy S9 Tab Ultra fails in the Marketplace, it will be because of this keyboard. I retired my Apple M1 iPad with its beautifully crafted Apple Magic Keyboard for the same price as the Samsung. The difference is more than night and day. Samsung went to great links to make this the worst design keyboard on planet earth. Think I’m just picky? Look at the number of one star ratings; not only on here but everywhere else on the Internet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice improvement from the S8 Ultra keyboard cover A nice physical keyboard for a tablet. It has a nice feel for a limited travel keyboard. Much sturdier than the keyboard cover for the Tab S8 Ultra. For those complaining about it not being backlit, Fn-F12 controls the backlight. There are 3 backlight levels plus off, and the default is off. Is it worth the list price of $350? Absolutely if your use of a tablet requires a keyboard, but probably not for a "casual" user - but then again, why is a casual tablet user buying the top of the line Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra? If you don't like the price, watch for sales - Best Buy had a good price for Black Friday. Would be 5 stars if there was a bit more key travel or a lower price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overpriced but gets the job done For what you are getting it's clearly over priced. Samsung needs to integrate the kick stand into the tablet. Especially for one as large as the ultra. It's effectively unusable without one. Which requires you to buy this pricey keyboard case. The stand works well enough, lots of adjustment, sturdy, strong magnets hold it to the back, and safe storage for the pen. The keyboard is long and a bit flimsy. Won't work on your lap and the table surface needs to be completely flat. Keys are responsive as is the touchpad. Is large and smooth. The backlight is a nice touch. The biggest negative is the touchpad/keyboard will intermittently stop responding while charging. This has happened with multiple Samsung tablets and keyboards. Otherwise it's still the best keyboard for the galaxy tablets, it just needs more improvement if it wants to justify the price and catch up to the iPads quality and functionality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only thing worse than this keyboard is the Support This is garbage. Within a month or so the touchpad sticks. Don't like the stand - too large of a footprint - see Apple keyboard design for ideal design for the same price point. Fret not, touch pad sticking isn't worst thing - the support is the WOST in any industry. The agents are impossible to understand and likewise agents are not able to hear clearly either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The keyboard as a device is very good! So this keyboard feels good with your paws on top of it. Key functions feel good, keyboard looks good in general (no it isn't waterproof or resistant rated like the tablet is). The backlighting is a nice touch (doesn't stay lit until you press something on it just so you know). I use my tablet for editing YouTube videos, so having this keyboard was a must! I only wish it was much cheaper as this thing just cost a fortune. Other then that, I highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's Great!, but $350... Great quality and I like that it has a backlit keyboard and sturdy kickstand, also the magnet connection is strong. Wish it was a little more affordable though...I paid around$150 for my S7 keyboard cover case and this seems like the same design but just bigger and backlit, I don't understand how that can make this one more than double the price. Other than the price it's great and I am more than satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pricey but worth it. While I'm still sour on paying 300 bucks for a keyboard, the functionality is what sold me to it. It would be awesome if Samsung goes easy on the $$$

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do Not Buy I don’t use the tablet much because I hate the book cover keyboard. It does not adjust well with the flimsy back flap and the magnetic hold is garbage. The keyboard itself is not bad but it is not backlit - for what they charge it is absolute hot garbage. If I could give is -10 stars I would.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keyboard cover misses its premium mark by a mile I bought the keyboard because I wanted to have the same experience as I had with the iPad Pro 12.9'' with its Magic Keyboard. Unfortunately, the S9 Ultra keyboard cover is more of a Surface Pro keyboard from a few generations ago that is not balanced. Key registers are spotty, the stand does not feel premium for the price point of $350. If this was a $100-$150, I would be okay with the feature set but this is nowhere close to the Apple Magic keyboard experience. It's unfortunate because the S9 Ultra is an incredible tablet that is worthy of a much better experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not worth the stiff price Pros: keys very responsive and the power coming from the tablet is a nice touch Cons: doesn't keep the tablet from falling forward on an angle. Detaches from tablet way too easily with any movement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor quality control I picked this up at BestBuy and some of the keys do not work. I do not understand why some keys would work and others would not. Very expensive for what it is, I would have paid it (had it worked). I tried to chat into Samsung support to troubleshoot and they advised I just return it. All in all a very poor customer experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! OpS!!! $349 for a tablet keyboard cover. You've got to be kidding me. It's not even backlit. Sure it works fine, but it's worth maybe $120 tops, and even that's a bit high in my opinion. Maybe if the thing had a battery expansion or some other functionality but it's a piece of plastic. I can buy at backlit, bluetooth keyboard for $50. I would say you're just paying for the Samsung name... but that's not even on it. lol

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feels cheap, typing is frustrating. I've never had this problem with other keyboards but this one doubles or even triples letters randomly. Absolutely frustrating to write on. It feels cheap- prior models used a textured plastic. This one is smooth and picks up dirt and fingerprints. After 6 months of traveling in my bag the corners are white with wear, never had that issue with an accessory. My only reason for keeping it is that it's thin, and off-brand keyboard covers often don't have a pen holder, and I don't like the use the folding triangle solution for stands.
Date published: 2024-01-31T00:00:00-05:00
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feels cheap, really isn't. My biggest issue with it is the responsiveness of the keys. I'm very used to tablet size keyboards. I don't know if it's software or hardware but it has an extremely annoying habit of doubling or tripling letters if you're typing fast. I don't have this issue with any other keyboard. It makes it very frustrating to use for any extended writing. Second, I owned this item's predecessors for the S7 & 8. Those keyboard cases had a textured feel, like plastic trying to imitate leather. This model however is smooth plastic, and besides being a little slippery also picks up fingerprints and any slightest amount of dirt. It feels cheap. Additionally, this has been traveling in my laptop bag for 6 months and the corners are turning white. Totally not worth it for the price. The only plus, and reason I'm still using it, is I like the foldout stand on the back and hate the off-brands with the triangular folding stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty decent. not worth 350 with it's input delay The back part is a solid 4/5. The kick stand is a bit flimsy but gets the job done. You really only notice if you put the kick stand on a body part, like your lap or belly. But on hard surfaces it's not too bad. The keyboard itself needs work. The most egregious fault is the input delay on the keyboard especially the track pad. It feels like cheap Bluetooth delay even though it's a physical connection. Small issue is that there are no separate key binds for back and home. My Logitech keyboard has f1 2 and 3. For back home and opened apps but on this keyboard they can be bound to open an app of your choosing. You can still use function+left arrow for back. But I liked having the 3 keys together just like they appear on Android. Other than that, it's a solid keyboard with a fairly bright backlight. The pen cubby is a really neat touch and makes you feel more secure that you wont bump off the pen. The key presses feel nice, better than my old surface pro 4 cover. The low score is for the price. The input delay is absolutely unacceptable for something that cost 350 dollars and has a physical connection. 350 for a perfectly functioning keyboard with no delay, the 3 Android buttons having their own keys closer to each other and a less flimsy kickstand would already be a hard sell. The price for this prototype (it feels like) should be around 100. If the flaws were fixed I'd think 200 -250 would be expensive, but worth it. 350 actually hurts, and it's flaws are salt in the wound

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Keyboard cover This keyboard cover is the 1st I've ever used & it works great. The magnet is suprisingly strong & the cover actually protects the tablet. I droped it a few days ago from about 5 feet onto the concert with no issues. I have the Galaxy Book S as my daily driver, but after getting the Gaxaxy Tab S9 Ultra with this keyboard cover I've been using it instead of my Book S. Outside of needing a hotspot its been a seamless transition. (Samsung Tab S10 Ultra LTE Hint Hint)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good but crazy overpriced For this price it really should provide more protection and probably provide a second USB port like Apple’s keyboard does. That said, the function keys are very nice, that’s something Apple’s Pro keyboard doesn’t have. Not really worth it overall though, I’d recommend a third party one for $100 or so. Insane that they charge as much as a full tablet for this.
