Rated 5 out of 5 bySpiddler from Wonderful ChromebookReceived as a Christmas gift in 2017, and this Chromebook has helped me stay organized and productive. Granted, in the meantime that's mostly been hobby work, but still! It's super portable and works great, especially for the price point. Not absurdly powerful, so if that's what you want look elsewhere; but if you want something to browse, organize, and create literary work with then you can't go wrong! I only wish more Android apps were Chromebook compatible.

Rated 5 out of 5 byDynajet from Great Value and a Top Performer!I chose this Samsung product over some worthy competition because it had double the onboard storage of most other Chromebooks. I wanted the speedy boot time and quick access that a Chromebook provides and this one truly delivers. It has been completely trouble free and is well built, with no apparent problem spots. Setup is a snap, access to websites and email is jiffy quick, and the display looks great. I can recommend it without hesitation.

Rated 5 out of 5 bySheliaS from Samsung ChromebookReally like the chromebook. Two features are missing: the caps lock and delete key. Did not realize the omission when I ordered it online. If I would have known before about the deleted keys, I may not have purchased it. However, I happy with my purchase now.

Rated 5 out of 5 byDomin8rix from Great for Basic BrowsingAs the title says it's great for basic functions. This isn't a power user machine, but if you saw the specs and thought it was then that's on you.To clarify an issue someone else mentioned - The charger seems loose and falls out. You need to click the charger in with a bit of force. At first i thought it was odd, but quickly realized this. If that is their only issue hopefully this solves it for others.

Rated 5 out of 5 byTabman1111 from the best in its class.just got this about 9 days ago, and couldn't be happier. also, own another brand of chromebook that actually cost more but does not perform as smooth or fast as the samsung. first of all, the chromebook 3 is built to last. nice solid design all the way around. the keyboard is nice and roomy with a very smooth and accurate mousepad that requires little pressure to click. the chromebook 3 4gb ram and 32 GB storage handle browsing, light games, and 6 or 7 open tabs without any real noticeable lag. the screen is easily viewable even at various angles. and samsung was one of the first manufactures of the chromebook so they have all the know how to design a nicely desisigned and efficient device. i own many samsung tablets and a couple samsung phones and yet have to see even as much as a hickup or glitch, let alone a breakdown of any of them. they are built to last.

Rated 5 out of 5 byPoorQualitySamsung from Lots of unfixed problemsOrdered this 500C13 K03US new chromebook for Christmas. Was supposed to be one of the better ones. Mouse track pad doesn't work - out of the box it doesn't work. Plugged in a wired mouse through USB and that worked. Searched the web and it turns out this is a common problem. Followed all suggestions including - take it outside to avoid RFID interference, 'drumming the keyboard with finger tips," hard reset - stopped short of something called a "USB reset - wherein the entire OS has to be reloaded." WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. Samsung was once a solid brand that we favored which is why I chose this. However, we've had problems with refrigerator and dishwasher too. DO NOT BUY THIS chromebook. What a hassle. WHAT A H A S S L E!

Rated 5 out of 5 byflyfish14 from Price is right but you get what you pay forI had one that lasted 28 months of daily, hard and long use. No complaints there. This new one I thought would be faster but it is not. Very slow to load Gmail but handles other features like calendar very well. This suites me well as my needs and usage are minimal.

Rated 5 out of 5 byDrDub1911 from Absolute Love! After My Son crashed the HD on my last laptop, I began my search for it's replacement. I've owned several high end laptops in the past, all in the hands of my 3 kids now, and my wife uses my old Macbook Air. when looking to purchase a new device I spent a lot of time online researching all of the many different options available. So I thought about the reasons i "needed" a computer since i use a desktop at work , read the news and watch videos on my tablet and spend more time than i should on my Android phone. since I am an Android fanatic and my last computers have used windows or mac Operating systems, the idea of a Chromebook was very appealing. After all I primarily use a computer at home for paying bills, creating spreadsheets, checking emails, making my schedules and writing. After spending even more hours reading articles and watching youtube videos now about chromebooks, I knew this would meet my needs and being a tech nerd I wanted one. So now what was I looking for in a Chromebook? One the most bang for my very limited buck. Two something lightweight and portable as I walk on a cane due too injury. three fast with enough storage although we live in the "cloud" these days. After spending many hours on line and checking out the big box office supply and electronic stores where I had time to get my hands on experience. I decided on the Samsung Chromebook 3 with 4gb ram and 32g of storage. This was everything I was looking for and then some. When I got home and unboxed it I was very impressed with the compact size although the screen is plenty big and the full size keyboard ( in comparison to my Macbook Air) perfect size for me. For an inexpensive computer its fast. the build is solid and I think beautiful and ergonomic. since I live in the Google ecosystem it took very little time to setup, about the same as setting up a new smartphone. Soon enough I had all of my pictures and docs thanks to Google Photo and Drive. My email was all right there as well as my Google docs and spread sheets. It could not have been any easier.some of the other things about this model that i like, Great sound for 2 small computer speakers, beautiful screen, Keyboard is amazing as well as trackpad functions. 1USB 3.0 that Ican connect my phone to, another USB, HDMI port Headphone jack and a micro sd card slot. Oh yeah this model also has the Google Play Store! All of this for an awesome price! I hope I'm not forgetting anything because the list really does just go on and on. Yep I could not be any happier with my purchase. Absolutely Love This Chromebook Life!!!! Buy this and you will NOT be dissapointed. Thanks

Rated 5 out of 5 byNo remorse from Disappointment in a Box.Got one for Christmas...I will say the battery life is unbelievable. 10-12hr not an joke. Well that concludes all the good things. I hate this thing. The Bluetooth is all messed up. In not sure it even has the parts. The launcher that you can't replace as default is the most unfriendly, underdeveloped piece of junk ever. The android settings are stripped to the bone. Transferring files is a nightmare. And Idk if I have integrated my sd card or not. I tried installing some apk files. I get turn on development mode which is on already over and over. Error mounting Linux , over and over. I would love to throw this thing like a Korean nija star at a dog or something. The 180 screen is useless and the trckpad sucks. I will never...oh wait....why does samsung not appear anywhere but in the lid. I mean no where, Not an app, logo, screen saver nada. I will never buy samsung again. That battery is good though. It is also making my divorce easy. Thanks samsung

Rated 5 out of 5 bylolz123 from Bad Choice for people who love computersFrom an aesthetic point of view, the edges, color, and keys make it look like the designer put no thought into this. The bezels are super huge for a small computer and they are not it. This chromebook is also very slow, something you would not expect from chrome devices.

Rated 5 out of 5 byTyler3418 from Great Basic ChromebookI bought this Chromebook to do basic online work, using mostly Google apps like Drive, and it's been a great product for that. The speed is about as good as I would hope for, not crazy fast but definitely enough. The hardware is pretty solid and well made, and the back of the screen section is textured really nicely and makes it easy to grip. For ports it includes the charging adapter port, 2 USB ports, HDMI, micro SD slot, and a standard headphone port. I like how I can connect an HDMI cable to to TV and project the Chromebook screen to it. The keyboard and touch pad feel good and well arranged. The screen is a good size and can be set very bright, but it is not very high definition. I also wish that more apps were supported for Chromebooks, but other than those minor cons, I have nothing negative to say about this model. It was definitely worth the price. For basic office and Internet purposes, I would definitely recommend this model.

Rated 5 out of 5 byTesla1000 from Great Product!I think this Chromebook is good and can take a few hits to it (dropping it about...3 times over the course of owning this) I have owned this Chromebook for nearly 5 or so years and use it everyday for use such as browsing social media. The keyboard is also good in my opinion I don't own many keyboards(*-*(. They could add different task bar and option styles (they have changed it about twice now) it could just be user error but it should be added(I like the original task bar style better) and the developer shell is usable for someone with only a scratch of knowledge of coding or commands (usually i'll just check the battery health now and then) but I HIGHLY discourage running it till it shuts down because it seems to damage the battery a bit which is never good. even on drop it remains sturdy with maybe some scratch marks on it (I've only dropped it on the thin side) on more hard drops like on asphalt it will severely scratch it though which is to be expected. I had dropped it once and had to pop the screens frame back in place. (nothing still seems wrong still as of writing this) And thanks for reading this long review

Rated 5 out of 5 byitsAokay from Gr8 deviceI got this in December 2017 and it has never failed or been unreliable. It's just this kind of small (perfect size for me) black (slick design, cool textured back) laptop with cute lowercase letters on the keyboard. It is perfect for me, because I am not a very responsible owner and the water resistant keyboard has saved me many times. The battery life is amazing which is also a plus.Chrome OS works very well. I am in the Beta program so I get new features faster and over time I feel like my device has actually become faster. Android Apps are very useful from the Play Store. I've also been using the HDMI cable to connect to my TV, how convenient, and the microSD slot is a useful way to increase storage (which is only 32GB but I've never reached that limit in my 1 year of usage). The newly added Linux apps feature makes it so that Chrome OS doesn't feel restricted and I am already using it.It's really easy to use and perfect for my type of usage and I would easily recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 bymeatmann from Works as expectedI'm six months into my CB 3. Works well, down loaded videos to sdmicro, great for long plane trips. Great WIFI response for the ac installed system. My Bank and Financial apps all work flawlessly. I use webroot security, haven't upgraded to vpn yet. One of the better features is to be on Chrome MSN has had to strip down all their background adds and other trash. It makes it great to get this news source without all the download bloat on my desktop. Had a Samsung Tab4 for three years till the battery gave out. The 11 hour use of the CB3 is a stretch.

Rated 5 out of 5 byTheDarkFiddler from Solid Chromebook With a Slight Issue...I received this Chromebook not too long ago for Christmas, and it's very nearly everything I could have wanted from a Chromebook. Powerful enough to do nearly anything you could want from a cloud-based computing solution, and a solid keyboard design despite the small size - initially, missing some common keys like Caps Lock and Delete threw me, but I've found myself not missing them all that much. The main issue I have is that though the battery does indeed last an impressive 10-11 hours with typical use, the charger does not like sitting in the charging port, and will frequently "fall out" if you're not babysitting it. I put that in quotes because it doesn't really fall out, the Chromebook is just very specific about the positioning of the charger and even a slight shift will stop your Chromebook from charging. Just last night I had plugged my Chromebook in to charge overnight, and awoke to the battery sitting at 50% after the charger had shifted and stopped shifting. I can imagine that if you intend to bring the Chromebook with you on a trip, finding that your battery had stopped charging halfway could be rather inconvenient, but for home use it's more an annoyance than anything. Additionally, the power supply's bulk is placed at the outlet, which is a valid design choice but makes it so that you may have trouble fitting the charger in every tight-fit outlet.
