Amazing full size display 2k res business monitor
Great colors good for photography
Good size for the pixel density so at 2k@60hz you dont need to increase front size
Good stand, fully articulated including portait mode. (wish it was a tiny bit taller though
Good brightness and glare reduction

I have one at work and one at home because I was so impressed.
Dont use the auto rotation feature (software)

I have already exchanged one display. There seems to be an issue with the sealing of the panels, because it looks like some kind of debris/dust gets behind the front panel over time.

Good monitor but mediocre customer service
Good monitor but the monitor was problematic and customer service was lacking. There are good cheaper 32" monitors out there to buy and I wouldn't go with Samsung.

Awesome business monitor
I bought this for my wife after one of her dual 19" died. She writes all day, and the ability to have multiple full size pages up is critical for her.
This monitor is incredible. I was worried that the default resolution would be a bit tiny, but with the overall size, a letter sheet is actually just a touch over life size. With careful placement, you can actually get three letter size sheets on the screen at the same time.
The adjustability of the stand is great, with plenty of movement. You can even rotate vertically if you want (it ships that way), but I can't image why you would. The matte screen is clear and bright with no dead pixels. Had to turn the brightness down quite a bit. By default the huge size of the monitor will blind you at full brightness.
It's not perfect. The stand sticks out front quite a ways, and takes quite a bit of room. The brushed metal is handsome, but more distracting than plain black. And the supplied cords are a bit short. Only about 5'. (It does come with a full set of cords though, for every input.) And there is no cord management. The cords just hang down.
For business use, I can't imagine a better monitor.

Death Pixels
I have been using this monitor for a week now. I have noticed five death pixels so far. On the other hand the built quality is poor especially the frame. It is made of a poor quality material which is not aligned with the panel there are gaps in between. Samsung is one of the best companies and I'm one of the big fans that manufacture monitors but the overall quality of the recent model monitors have gone down. I'm defiantly returning this monitor with the same price there are higher quality monitors out there. I hope Samsung would post this review for this item.

monitor blinks
I bought this with high expectations only to return the first one due to blinking. I tried different cables, nothing seemed to fix it. Now, the second one does the same thing, a random blink where the screen goes black for about a second, happening anywhere from every 20 seconds to once every few days. I've read online that this is an issue for Samsung monitors, so beware unless you like returning items and waiting on hold for support.

The 32" WQHD resolution combination is an excellent choice for a desktop monitor. Plenty of desktop space for multi-tasking. The display is bright and vivid. The stand is sturdy and attractive.

Just the right size
I had a similar product from another company, but was only 27". 2560 x 1440 at 27" makes everything too small to view comfortably. At 32" the viewing is perfect. I was a little worried that I would have to physically turn my head to see everything, but that hasn't been a problem. A 4K monitor would be worse without going up to a 40+" monitor and then I'm sure you would have to turn your head or move the monitor off of the desk. So far, the quality of the monitor has been flawless. I haven't found any dead pixels. Well done, Samsung!

Good for photo editing and color critical work, from a distance
Looking for a large monitor to multitask with, that is inexpensive, and also has accurate color after bei.ng calibrated? I found this S32D850T to be a strong contender. I almost wish there was a 27" version with the same AMVA+ panel technology, though.
The good:
* 32" is the sweet spot for 2560x1440 resolution (.276 dot pitch)
* After calibrating, colors are indistinguishable from my previous AH-IPS based panel I've compared it to
* black levels are very inky
* high contrast ratio makes the screen gorgeous to look at
* the larger size compels me to keep the monitor beyond arm's reach, which is about 36". This is around the ideal distance considering the size and viewing angles match up. 36~42" is ideal for a 1440p monitor of this size anyway.
* no major lag during gaming
* USB3 ports!
* no blacklight bleed
* no dead or stuck pixels
* includes VESA mount!
* stand has a nice wide base for stability
The bad:
* Situate the monitor closer than 32" and contrast shift will occur, getting bothersome the closer one sits to the monitor. At.24" also incurs hue shift. This is due to the structure of the AMVA panel, but for ergonomic safety, 36" away is minimum distance, and some will want it even farther back to limit neck movement.
* vertical banding is annoying when noticed, but this is not a new problem with LCD monitors/TV sets in general
* buttons feel flimsy
* stand could be sturdier where it connects to panel
All in all, only the vertical banding is an issue but it's not too detracting.
I'm still getting used to having a monitor almost 40" from me, but with accurate color and superb contrast ratio, AMVA+ is indeed suitable for color critical work for prosumers.

Bad Quality
Bought it little more than 3 years ago, warranty is 3 years and of course the display has gone bad right after that. It started showing black spots in the middle, the replacement display would cost me like 80% of the monitors worth.

It's big.
This monitor is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts compared to this monitor.

Wow! Big Monitor
This monitor is huge! If you want everyone in your office to stop by your desk and say "wow, that's a big monitor" this is for you. Works great with my MBP w/ Retina 13" with the Display Port to Thunderbolt adapter it came with. Great color - had to turn the brightness up. But hey, if you want a lot of spreadsheet on your screen at under $500 this is highly recommended.

Was very impressed with the choices of plugs/adapters that facilitated ease of installation.
The perfect monitor for a far-sided user. Custom set the workstation at 200% display and are able to see two page documents on the same screen. Excellent unit!

Great Monitor for Designers
I have purchased 6 of these monitors within the last 60 days and they are fantastic for the CAD guys. I'd recommend anyone with a likghter budget to consider this montitor as it is worth every penny... Hey, it is a Samsung! :)

Excellent monitor for extended monitor usuage
i have been using this monitor as extended monitor and like it very much.it covers lot of details and gives me more space to open multiple applications. it does have a portrait mode, only drawback is that the speaker does not work.

Good looking monitor for home, work, and signalling other galaxies
I ordered the monitor based on my budget, brand name recognition, and the pretty simulated picture in the product description online. The monitor has lived up to the hype and came with everything needed to set it up. I love it.
It is large enough for everyone in the office to see what you are doing from several cubicles away without hovering right over your shoulder and it's fully adjustable. Let me put it another way--this monitor is a beast! I no longer have to have 2 separate ones; this one handles everything I throw or put on it.
The display is sharp and bright much like the new hires in the intern program. Overall, I give it 5 stars.
