Great holster
The case and holster have been outstanding. I had great experiences with the holsters, but on my old iPhone 12 with the Otterbox Defender XT, the holster was not "rigid" and could be loose. The case/holster for my iPhone 14 ProMax (Defender XT) are outstanding. The holster is rigid and keeps the case affixed. It is what I expect from Otterbox! :)

Iphone 14 Max Pro Holster.
I always use Otterbox holster products and love them, but this one doesn’t quite fit properly on my Iphone 14 max pro. The first one that I purchased for this phone worked properly but I misplaced it and had to purchase a replacement. The replacement doesn’t quite work so well as I have to fiddle around with it to get it to lock every time.

I have owned iPhones for awhile. Every one I have put a defender case on them they have been great. The latest iPhone 14 pro max cases are great BUT!!! The belt clip holder is terrible on both new cases the phones fall out very easy. The tab that clips into the case is a weak clip engagement like the mold is off on the manufacturing process. Over all I am very disappointed in these new cases.

Protective thin clip
This was a great purchase. Along with the case.very thin not bulky and in the way. The clip adds a form fitting portability and protection to my phone. And I have the max. Doesn’t scuff easily but keep in mind it is plastic.

It’s not as easy to put into the clip as previous models I’ve used (different phones, same brand).
The built in magnet is only for charging (?)…it won’t support the phone on a dash mount.

I recieved this clip as a replacement for the clip that came with my new 14 pro max case broke the first week, the replacement holster does not hold my phone securely and has allowed my phone to fall out of the case even after checking that it is securely clipped in, have lost faith in otterbox!

Very useful carrying case. It’s nice to not have a bulky phone and case in your pocket. The holster is well designed but could be better. The rotating assembly is firm and doesn’t rotate around needlessly like the old defender cases used to which is good and bad depending on your preference. Overall it’s a good product and useful for those who don’t want to occupy their pockets with a bulky phone or case.

Good but bulky.
Very good deal on a free belt clip holder for my new iPhone case including free shipping. The clip is very secure, but bulky which can't be helped due to the size of the phone and case it's holding. I'm still tending to pocket the phone instead and have been using this more as a landscape mode phone stand.

These are Thinner than Previous Holsters
I feel these holsters are being made cheaper than previous holsters. The plastic seams thin and flimsy. It took about a week of use to break off the top corner. I did not drop the phone; this was just taking it out and put it back in the holster. The phone will still be held in place, but this should not happen. My last iPhone 8 Otter box holster lasted for the whole 5 years I had that phone and endured much more abuse of the construction trade. I think they need to spend more time to design these holsters to make them more durable. I wonder how well they would hold up to drops. The case itself is great and I wish the holster matched.

I love my Otterbox cases. They have save my iPhone from catastrophic damage several times. This Defender XT holster is okay, hiwever the belt clip is a weak point. They always break. This time, mine broke within a month. A warranty claim
Is $10 for an item that cost me $15. That’s a discount, not a.warranty.

Protective but magnets are terrible.
I tried 5 cases and this one I kept. I feel its pretty well protected. But the big problem for me was the magnet strength. This case won't stick to any real metal surface in my house (without sliding down). The Magbak has a much better magnet but its so slippery that I had to return it because I was worried I would simply drop the phone more. There really is no reason they can't do better on the magnets on this OtterBox case.

I'll have to get used to it, but the latch on this version seems a bit "flimsy". I mean it IS plastic, but.. maybe it's just me. I've been using Defender Series cases since my 1st iPhone 3 exclusively. Mostly for the Belt Clip. If you don't put it in your pocket/purse, the device doesn't scratch!

I have broken the corner off of the holster three times. Just have to be mindful of narrow places where you might snag the corner on something. No design flaw, it is sturdy but be careful if you wear it on your side where it is exposed to a snag

It is the correct one for the xt.
It is the correct fit for the xt. They even included support fins near the top. And side note I had shipping problems with it that was in no way related to this brand. FedEx lost it and when I called customer support the person I spoke with was professional and shipped a new one and I can say she fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes. If you use a holster don’t order a cheap brand, get this one.

Not Otterbox’s best product..
Otter box has always been my go-to brand for protecting all of the devices in my home. (Family of 6) Needless to say, we have a lot, but unfortunately this product did not hold true to my expectations! My phone has fallen straight out of this case numerous times, any time I bump it on something even the least bit. I am really hoping that a better product of this type will be made soon! I love all Otterbox products and hate to see one not fit up to the standards!
This of course does not sway my opinion of the company, however, I will likely be a little more leery in making expensive purchases of new products until I can see some reviews on them.
Overall, I would not personally recommend this holster if you are planning on moving around while wearing it. (Which, I thought, was the whole purpose..)

Been waiting on restock and no answers
It’s already frustrating that the cases no longer come with the holster and you have to pay shipping to get one, but the iPhone 14 pro max hasn’t been in stock and I’ve been waiting. I have tried chat and gotten no answer, and I have tried submitting a question with no answer as to when it will be back in stock. The cases are $70 and up and I have to pay even more for the holster, can we please get a restock so we can have what we were supposed to when we bought the case?

After the mess with last years 13PM Defender Series Pro XT holster with the iPhone falling out so easily, I was hesitant to even try this years 14PM holster. It was free though including shipping this year, with the case enclosed coupon. What did I have to loose? (except my $1200 iPhone AGAIN like last year!)
Let me tell you, they redesigned the holster and now it works GREAT!
I have not tested it at work yet, which is an outside maintenance job, but I will tomorrow and post back afterwards. It's not going to fall out like last years model just by bumping it, I can tell you that for sure.
It's tight due to two raised stops molded into the corners and two more near the latch.
When the iPhone is snapped in, there is a little bit of the gap which is ok.
If you want the iPhone to sit flush against the case when snapped in, buy last years 12/13PM holster, sku number 78-80610 for the Series XT.
I've been testing that one for ten days, while waiting on this FREE iPhone 14PM holster and it is great.
Believe it or not I'm going to use last years holster with my new 14PM, because I like how tight and flush that it is, but if you don't have that one, it's safe to say that this 14PM holster will work great for you.
Just remember that the actual Defender Series Pro XT case is still slippery on the back, but it works great with magsafe products and I need that so.....
Just stick some grips on the back anywhere but where the circle magnet touch.

This is the one you want for the 14 Pro Max as well as the 13 Pro Max, especially if you carry your phone with the screen out, as this new design compensates for the rear camera.

Long history of perfection, but not this time.
I’ve had Otter boxes for as long as I’ve had an iPhone. I broke the one that came with the my new OtterBox, I got it caught on something and broke it, not big deal it happens. So I ordered this replacement holster. It’s supposed to be for the new iPhone 14 Max, it doesn’t fit right, I was walking and it fell out. I don’t know what to do, but I’m not happy.

It is what it is... a Belt Clip
I'll have to get used to it, but the latch on this version seems a bit "flimsy". I mean it IS plastic, but.. maybe it's just me. I've been using Defender Series cases since my 1st iPhone 3 exclusively. Mostly for the Belt Clip. If you don't put it in your pocket/purse, the device doesn't scratch!

Holster is very flimsy. Phone case doesn’t seat well in case. It shifts around in the holster. Definitely not the same quality that Otterbox was known for. Better off buying an aftermarket holster.

Good luck. Make sure insurance is paid up
Worked well initially but after 2 months it wont keep the phone in. Now it fell out and I didnt notice and it got ran over by ambulance. Now I am out $100 for a new IPhone 14 pro max. Make sure your insurance is paid up. I am an Otterbox defender user for well over 10 years now. First time ever having this problem.
