Otter Box is the best protection for all the phones I have had. Probably 4 phones. I can drop the phone, encased in Otter Box from 5 ft and no damage at all to the phone. The design of the case at the corners is just genius. I have never had any damage to the glass at all. Nope, nada, zippo, nyet, henday. Love the protection of Otter Box. I love my Samsung Galaxy and want it protected by the best. Thank you so much for your product.

My hands are little and this phone is huge...after a while of having my pop socket on it stretches the plastic outer case and it's super annoying. That's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

It fits perfectly on my new Note 20 Ultra. It's lightweight, but very sturdy. It doesn't compromise the tempered glass screen cover that I use and I am extremely confident that if I did accidently drop my Note 20, it would be well protected. Good job and great case

With a phone this size I have already had to change screen protectors 2 or 3 times . Other then that phone case is good .

The belt clip holster I currently have for my Note 20 Ultra 5g doesn't hold the phone in the Defender case very well. I clicks in but is loose and has a tendency to pop out of the holster so I have to check it frequently.

It makes laying the smartphone flat on its back or front face down just fine to cover the camera bump and the beautiful front 6.9" glass screen. It also has a second hard plastic carry case to place the now protected smartphone inside to snap it on your belt or purse, or bag without worrying about scratching your beautiful new smartphone. I also use the outer case by placing the smartphone face up. This helps as an additional protector for drops and propping up the smartphone to watch videos or use as a television. It adds good bulk because it costs a grip and reconditioned phones from the retailer is a gamble that you may receive another broken smartphone. Works for me.

The front and the camera are both subject to damage. I'm looking for a better solution. I know this one not going to work for me .

I have had otterbox cases on my phones for over 10 years I live their products and this one is no different. Why the 4 stars? Well on the. Well on the top right of the case where the camera is located the rubber portion can slip up or off if its hot based on where you keep your phone. I have tried a few different spots based on size and comfort. When its in my back pocket it tends to walk off the plastic portion. If I keep it anywhere else it fine. Great buy highly recommend if you can be hard on your phones.

Glade to get it since not many companies were making case for it. Until I put my phone in it. I found that the belt loop DIDN'T hold my new $1400.00 phone in securely! the phone would pop out to the second locking notch on the phone enclosure from the belt loop holding it. To be fully transparent after much back and forth on the internet ( they are not answering their phones during the virus outbreak they are sending me a new replacement case, I'm still waiting. I expected as much better response from a long standing company such as Otter Box. I've purchased cheaper case that have preformed better. OH I ATTEMPTED TO POST THIS REVIEW FROM MY CELL PHONE IT RESPONDED THAT IT CONTAINED PROFANITY

This case is well made like the previous ones which did a great job in protecting the phones from most drops. It's easy to install. The only area that is somewhat open to possible damage is the screen only when out of the clip section. I don't believe any case can prevent an actual crack. Most screen protectors are for scratches, so I give it a pass. I would highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Case lacks in desired protection I bought the Defender series because it is important to me to have a case with the vertical sides raised (not just the ends) to prevent contact anywhere along the length of the phone. This is always a challenge with the Samsung's and their radiused sides. Case designers leave the sides low to work with the "edge" feature. While the Defender series tries to achieve this protection, it fails due to what I believe is a structural design flaw. The raised edge of the case sags slightly in the middle along the sides exposing this region of the screen. It is easy to see because of the Samsung radiused edge and when you have a White or vibrant Blue/Purple color on the screen. And now I have to eat $5 to return what I consider a shortcoming by the manufacturer. Otherwise the finish was nice like what you would expect from Otterbox. I am bummed out this did not work out. If this aspect of protection is crucial to you beware.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always the best I bought my first Defender Series otterbox 4 years ago for my Galaxy S8+ and I still have it and the phone is still like new. 2 Years ago I upgraded to the Galaxy Note 9, so of course I ordered another Defender series otterbox. I am a CNC machinist/Programmer, so I put that one through its paces. Its been dropped from over 10 feet to concrete, soaked in coolant, covered in metal dust, and so much more daily wear and tear. After it had hit concrete for the 5th time, it did crack the otterbox, but no phone damage . I went to the Otterbox website and inquired about the warranty, within 3 days I had my replacement in my hand. This year I pre ordered the Note 20 Ultra and ordered my otterbox defender series the same day. Same quality and perfect fitment as I expected and I hope it lasts as well as my others. My one and only complaint is that screen protectors would fit better with these cases. It tends to push them up and off the screen. Otherwise, I will be using otterbox for years to come and I always recommend to anyone asking about good cases. Remember, you get what you pay for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved my brothers leg from getting lacerated This case is built like a tank. Brother had a concrete form break and fall at work. It hit his leg and would have lacerated it big time! But the case and phone prevented that. Keep in mind this was a 250lbs piece of concrete. Unfortunately the phone didn't survive and the case it slightly warped. But it performed way better than expected. For every day or use in construction, I'd totally recommend. Replaced the phone at this point, now to the case if it doesn't fit on the phone if its to damaged.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great case with 2 flaws in my opinion I purchased this case for my as soon as I preordered my Note 20 Ultra. The case does an awesome job of protecting your phone. I have always used Otterbox for years to protect my phones when I was in the military and now that I am out. On this case, I have noticed a design flaw depending on if you use certain accessories. If you use a Popsocket or anything that attaches to the back, The rubber cover will flex. This caused my ohone to bounce around in my mount and my wife's popsocket to pop off. To fix this issue, I had to use super glue to glue down the center of the back cover to keep it stationary. Now my wife is able to use her popsocket and I can use my vehicle and motorcycle mount. If you don't use anything on the back of your case, then you shouldn't have any issues. Another small issue I have is that the cover for the charging port flips toward the top of the phone. While this is not a huge issue, I would have preferred it flip towards the back of the phone like on the commuter case. This is just one of those little deign features you'll notice after using a different type of case. If I would have known about these issues, I would have stuck with the commuter case like I have for years. While the commuter case is slightly smaller in design and protection, I believe it is a better design altogether.

The color of the inner case offers a real attractive highlight scheme around the face of your phone, bottom charger flap, and side snaps. I have the Mystic Bronze Note Ultra and its exposed camera housing on the back of the phone adds another cool color dimension to the overall look of the case. As always Ottterbox does an awesome job in designing cases that fit the contour of the phone with precision and this case is no exception. The type of rubber used seems to be a better blend than in the past.. great feel and grip in the hands even if your hands are wet. Texture of the case helps to prevent accidental sliding on hard surfaces to keep your phone safe front hitting the floor. I would recommend this case to anyone. Well worth the price. !!!!!

I was extra surprised to see that I didn't need to "custom fit" (AKA dremel) the edges to fit the Whitestone dome glass that I also ordered. With the past cases you had to dim and the edge to get it to not lift the glass. I will be ordering a spare because I tend to wear out the holster clip points Fairley quickly. Hopefully with the addition of a smart watch I can postpone the wear. As always you can't go wrong with this case. It is what you have come to expect from the brand.

My last note 8 still has the otterbox case and belt clip, never had an issue. Also wireless charging seems to overheat when this case is on my phone. Love otterbox cases but the quality is not the same as my older case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still the best phone cases, period. Just like the last one, I received it before my phone even arrived! Installation is simple, as usual. I wear my device on my belt, and the only problem I have - and it is a minor one - is on one side of the holster is the release tab, and on the other there is nothing. I wish there was a tab of some sort that rested upon the edge of the case, because the holster can make contact with the screen, eventually causing scuff marks. This has happened to me with previous devices using a tempered glass screen protector, and the same goes for this one using a soft screen protector. I had placed a strip of electrical tape across the spot where it contacts the screen, and although it doesn't leave scuff marks, the area where there is molding info still presses into the protector. Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have! I purchased the Defender for my Note 20 Ultra upgrade after having the Defender for my Note 8 & Note 9 prior. I will never understand why cell phones need to be made so slippery! I received the phone & treated it like a newly hatched chick until I received the case a few days later... It took me under 2 weeks to drop my phone for the first time after putting it in the case. As expected the phone landed on its corner & bounced a couple of little cartwheels & came out the other end none the worse for wear! (Just needed to click the pen back in lol I average several drops per year with my phones & so far Otterbox Defender Series has saved me over and over again. I would never use another!

Decent color but, when I put on the phone clip it makes the case pill backwards a little. I really dislike paying $59.00 for a case and it's not near perfect. Please make the case solid, and and in tune with the phone clip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Otterbox defender case is the best! This Otterbox defender case fits perfectly on my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. It feels secure in my hand and when I put it down on a flat surface, due to the tecture of the material, and it is not at all bulky. I am confident that it will protect my phone, if I happen to drop it. I also like the way the clip can be used to prop the phone up on a table for a "no hands" experience. Others have said that the phone can come out of the clip when wearing the phone attached to them. I can see where that could happen, which is why I have not tried using the clip to wear the phone. Aside from that, this case is perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A bit disappointed. I have used Otterbox since I had my Samsung Galaxy S4 device (2013, and it was superb. Rugged, and the snap-to-hold fit felt solid when putting the case into the holster. The next phone I got was an S6 (2015). Still a solid snap-in, and great quality. I even used the defender series again for my mother's S7 phone (2017), and no complaints to this day. It still serves her well. Fast-forward to 2021, and I finally had to change my S6 to a current phone due to water damage (At this time, one of the only S6 cases remaining was the commuter series. Defender was discontinued). So I chose the Note20 Ultra. And I have to say that I was fairly disappointed with that same snapping firm fit this case provides. It got so bad that the phone case would randomly fall out of the holster, so I began using an elastic band to hold it there. I thought to myself, "I never needed to do such a thing with the previous phones, so why was this one doing that?" I reached out to Otterbox, and they were understanding of my complaint, so they sent me another case. This new case...had the exact same issue. So now im just being as careful as I can with it, in hopes that the case doesn't just fall out of the holster because they all seem to be doing the same thing. I will say that the Varsity Blues colour is pretty unique, and the feel of it in your hand is nice, but beware or the random dropping that may occur. I would recommend this product to a friend, however I would warn them about the possibility of the case falling out of the holster randomly.

The top ridge is designed in a way in which it is difficult to pull down notifications. I will not be using it. Very annoying. I'll try out the commuter and see if it's better I suppose. Otherwise, it does its job well.

A month before ut became a year, The hard platic surrounting the phone had a crack. I dont normally drop my phone or if I did that hard. After the year mark CHUNKS of the phone case have fallen out and is now progressively getting worse. I dont think it should normally be like this, but I guess I got unlucky which sucks for me. For that reason I cant really recommend it because im writing thus review whaile my phone case is missing Chunks of protection.

An expensive phone requires the best protection which is the Otterbox Defender Case, Whitestone Dome Glass and port friendly charging cord.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Defender Case has saved us We have a defender case for every phone in our house. My husband used to break phone all the time until we got one. This is my first phone with an edge screen and I was worried about the case and how it will protect. Still a little concerned, but the 4 weeks with this new phone it's worked well. Also made the phone a little thicker so it stays in my hand. Only issue I'm finding is due to where the camera is on the phone the rubber shell is thin at the top of the phone and pulls away. We'll see how it wears over time. I also know that the warranty will help if there is an issue.

I always handle my electronics with a great deal of care. However, accidents will happen. None of my devices have ever been damaged while your products have been applied to them. The only thing that I didn’t like was that all of the best protection was in black. I really love the beautiful berry color of this case and knowing that my phone is well-protected. Thanks for getting a pretty color.

It makes laying the smartphone flat on its back or front face down just fine to cover the camera bump and the beautiful front 6.9" glass screen. It also has a second hard plastic carry case to place the now protected smartphone inside to snap it on your belt or purse, or bag without worrying about scratching your beautiful new smartphone. I also use the outer case by placing the smartphone face up. This helps as an additional protector for drops and propping up the smartphone to watch videos or use as a television. It adds good bulk because it costs a grip and reconditioned phones from the retailer is a gamble that you may receive another broken smartphone. Works for me.

The cell phone case was warrantied and replaced immediately at no cost, but just a small delivery fee. Other than that, the cell phone case was perfect for protective use and carrying on the hip. ????
