Replacement Holster
The holster is a replacement for my original. The pins that go into the slot came off after 2.5 years. I have used Otterbox products on my iPones beginning with my iPhone 6.

I really like the holster belt clip but the only thing I don’t like about it is is the clip part comes on and off way to easy. I feel it’s to loose making it a easy target for thieves.

Otter box products are tuff to withstand my harsh work environment I usually lay on them on the floor working and hang the belt holster on stuff and it usually takes a couple of good licks to break it and have to replace it

Belt clip

Plastic tends to be a little bit brittle
I buy the Otterbox Defender case for the belt clip. It's by far the best out there, but not perfect. Seems like it's too easy to catch a corner on something and it just breaks off. I'm no polymer engineer, but I would hope they could refine it a little more between flexibility and protection.

The size of this holster does not fit the actual case it’s meant to hold. This is extremely frustrating. Seems like I am not the only person to have this issue with your product. Maybe it’s time to fix it and hire someone who knows how to measure. It is remains loose while in the holster and falls out quickly with little to no help.

It’s review more for the one i replaced than the one I bought. Three weeks after Purchasing a case for $60 the holster broke during normal use. The warranty did not go through and I had to pay full price to replace it. Even if the warranty did high through I’d still have to shell out money for a product that’s already proven to be inferior. While it’s a smart “business move” by Otterbox to cover the cost, I don’t think they should charge anything since the cost to produce an inferior product isn’t that great given its farmed out overseas production.

I bought a defender series for my new iphone 12 and it seems to "pop out" of the holster real easy. So I bought another holster and the same happens. I've always had an Otterbox on all my phone and never had an issue with my last one (defender for iphone 6 plus. Maybe it is the Otterbox case. Just not happy.

Poor Quality belt clip holster
I bough 3 new belt clip holster for iphone 12 and it broke after 1 week, the original broke after 1 month. Same problem the 2 little pin broke! Im otterbox guys maybe 10 years and never have trouble at all my belt clip holster! Very cheap quality Im desapointed

I had an Otterbox case and holster for my iPhone 6 for years and loved it. The phone was tight in the holster and I never worried about it slipping out. I now have an iPhone 12 and ordered a new Otterbox case and holster. The case fits great but the phone falls out of the holster. I ordered a new holster and although the phone doesn't fall out of it, it is still very loose. I am afraid with any shaking or working around on the construction site, the phone may dislodge.

This phone case is off the chain. My phone dropped many times all the way down from the top of the stairs and when I went down to pick it up, it was intact. The belt clip itself is a life saver. I can use my hands to accomplish other tasks than to hold my phone. What a freedom! Thank you OtterBox for such a item!

I always have to keep my phone handy with me, because I am on call 24/7. Being able to have it right here on my hip makes it so much easier. The OtterBox case also is wonderful for klutzes like me who dropped her phone at least once a week.

I buy a lot of these because my husband constantly breaks them. The otter box cases are amazing (besides your phone getting scratched up from sand getting under the case, but these clips for them are fragile.

Doesn’t fit well at all.
I bought the plain ol’ 12 and it came with a case. Not sure what case but it does not fit tight like it should with new clip case. Universal fit would be nice but now I have to buy something else that alittle wider fo fit the clip case if this makes any sense.

I bought a caring case for my new iPhone 12,..the case the sight prescribed - it was too large,..the phone couldn't be secured in the case. And on top of it i paid extra for expressed shipping. I was so annoyed i threw it in the trash.

Fits 12x defender case loosely, but i did a workar
As built, the holster is too loose to hold the iPhone 12 in its defender MagSafe case. The workaround I did is to place 2 layers of black electrical tape inside each corner clip. That forces the 12x case firmly against the latch clip so the phone is secure in the holster.

Belt Clip problems
The second belt clip I have had to get for iPhone 12 Pro, due to two breakages, once a broken retention clip, recently the nubs that hold the phone in the clip broke off the retention clip... I would expect better quality

Great Holster - Wrong iPhone
