The glass is far smaller than the screen size and the tool for placing the glass on the screen misplaced the glass , makes viewing some things difficult. Thought the wrong glass was shipped out at first but apparently not. Wouldn't purchase again

It makes it hard to use some features, and traps dirt and whatever else in between the glass and Otterbox phone case. For the price of these, I figured they would be the best choice. I did however like the fact that if you don't put it on your phone correctly the first time, you can easily reapply it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor design for Galaxy A51 I don't recommend this glass protector for the Galaxy A51. After 3 months the glass has cracked in two places. This coming from a person who had a Galaxy S4 Otterbox case for almost 6 years with no problem. The issue I see is that the protective cover doesn't extend to the edges of the case leaving the edges vulnerable. Not worth the money. Hopefully Otterbox makes design changes.

Then I purchased another one and it cracked while putting it on because it was slightly chipped on the outer edge that was not visible right away. I had the original otter Box with plastic cover for the Galaxy 7 and it lasted 5 years with no problem. If I new that with the new phone there would be a new version of an otter Box with a glass cover I would have kept my old phone and purchased a new battery for it. I do not feel that my phone is protected if it dropped on the floor where my other phone with the old version of the otter Box fell on the floor several times and my phone was never damaged after 5 years.

There products are sturdy, durable, can't say enough good things about Otterbox. Unfortunately, this Glass Screen Protector is not an exact match for a Samsung A51 5G. The protector is a bit smaller than the phone screen. I thought it will not bother me, but it does. Also the price is a bit high.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not cover the full screen I ordered this protector for my A51 but it is at least 2mm too small in every direction. I had to double check the box after applying, but it really says it's for the A51. It looks terrible and dirt is building up around the edges of the protector. 99% of the time fingerprint authentication fails. I hope that at least the part that is covered is well protected, otherwise that second star would be undeserved.

This product doesn't appear to be as durable as advertised. Would I purchase this for my family members? No. Would I recommend this to a friend? Not a good friend anyways.

I dropped my phone, mostly because the Otterbox phone holder I bought along with the screen protector doesn't hold my phone securely, and it cracked, but the phone's screen didn't. I guess I should be happy, but I wouldn't have dropped it if the holder was more secure.

This is the first one that does not completely cover the glass, or at least cover the area of the glass that images are displayed over. I purchased it specifically for my Galaxy A51 5G. It is weird looking at the screen with images on the screen not completely covered. I'm disappointed in this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only brand I Trust I have used these exclusively on all my past phones and the screen protectors have always protected my phone. I have never been able to break the screen protector until now. Even though it saved my phone's screen it has broken in 3 different place after only being on my phone for about 3 weeks. Not sure if OtterBox changed the materials theses are made of if so OtterBox needs to change back especially for the premium price I pay for the extra protection or so I thought.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Difficult installation and not worth the money I got one when I first bought my phone. One drop onto carpet from roughly 3 to 4 feet and it cracked. No biggie I warranty it out and go and buy a second one so I have something to put back on my phone right away. Trying to install the second one I bought was a nightmare and the tab 2 protective film would not peel off and trying to fight with it caused me to get stuff on the sticky side of the screen protector that's supposed to be against my phone. I have always loved otterbox but this time just go with a different brand and save yourself the headache...

So it does not cover the entire fit display, therefore it is distorted on both sides when trying to read text. Their ( otterbox) website says that they behind their products but they refused to do let me return it

Any time I get a new phone I usually get an otterbox case and a random screen protector (like walmart brand). This time I decided to splurge and get an otterbox screen protector as well. The protector doesn't even fully fit my screen. Im using an otterbox case and protector and expected a flush fit with no gapping for full protection, and what I got was a large gap on all sides where dust and debris gets stuck and makes me need to remove the case often to clean because the gaps are so large. Along with that is the annoying line going down my screen on the edges where the protector just "stops". And the serious lack of protection. For the expensive price point I expected much better.

I used the alignment tool and there is a consistent and equally spaced gap between the alpha glass and phone glass. This is disconcerting because with the beveled edge of the Defender, any object striking it is going to be directed into the exposed screen part. Its ridiculous that they charge $40 for a piece of glass that doesn't even fit the phone they say its for. And yes, I have the standard A51--not the 5 g version

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cracked in my purse I ordered my AlphaGlass a month ago and one of the few times I've left my house with my phone (pandemic the AlphaGlass cracked at the edge while in my purse. It's the only screen protection OtterBox offers for the A51. I didn't drop anything, my purse was not overstuffed, there was no pressure on the phone, it just chipped being in a purse. The only thing I can thing of being in the purse that might be responsible is the clasp on my wallet, but that's something that should be expected during normal use when designing and QA testing the product. I don't know if this specific glass was defective (I hope so) or if this will be my experience again. On the plus side, it was easy to submit a warranty claim and my history with Otterbox makes me inclined to give them the opportunity to improve the glass. I have had great success with my Otterbox products in the past and I hope this was an aberration . Photo attached, don't mind my finger smudges...
