Worked instantly after. The app to log in from your phone lets you know where most of your bandwidth is going. I even found another fire stick I had connected and forgotten about on my surround sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Netgear modem/router yet!This unit has been the easiest yet in my upgrades of Netgear modems, routers and modem/routers to newer and more powerful versions. Setup was super easy, I connected with no problem to my ISP, and it it handling the hardwire and Wifi connections without a hitch. I have a fairly large wired network and the download/upload speeds are the best yet. The Wifi coverage is also superb and i have been able to dispense with using an extender I needed previously in our 1800 square foot 3 story townhouse. I am getting stronger signals even at the furthest point from the router. Very happy with this purchase.

Have only had some trouble connecting my printer (had to connect with a cable, couldn't get it connected wirelessly for some reason.) Also, had some trouble getting my garage door openers connected to the new network as well. But overall, it's a great setup.

This unit does not sync up with the nighthawk app. It uses "genie" which is outdated but gets the job done. have had nothing nut issues with connecting to the 5G, but this partly could be to its size... cant comfortably position is on wall like our old unit due to its huge size. Will be re-wiring our setup so I can get it somewhere else. Hope this will help

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why did I wait so long!I should have upgraded to the C7500 long ago, from my C7000. I now get greater range but more importantly my WiFi speed throughput has doubled. Very important since dropped cable and stream all my viewing on 4 tv's. Easy set up. Bigger footprint so it takes more shelf space but not a problem for me.
