Rated 5 out of 5 by from Customer Service is non-existent!! As soon as you purchase a TV and LG has your money, you are apparently dead to them. I bought one of their most expensive TVs, you'd think they care about customer satisfaction. I was supposed to get free TV mounting from Handy as it is included in my order. The TV was delivered to me and they just dropped it off, I was never contacted by Handy or by anybody about the mounting. I can't give a review on the TV because it is still sitting in a box for days. I reached out to LG partner store customer service, they only allow you to reach out via email, I've gotten no response, not even a confirmation that they received my email. I tried looking up contact for Handy customer service and their page goes to a broken link, even the email link is broken, no email address found. It's like once you buy the TV no one cares after that, extremely disappointed right now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible design choice Doesn’t come with a stand, and if you buy it separately, it tilts the screen 4 inches toward the wall, permanently. Doesn’t make any sense for a high end TV. I'm not able to wall mount it on my living room, so I’m returning it.

The brilliant colors and crisp pictures along with all of he fabulous features that this TV has was such a great investment to our families home entertainment. We also went a size bigger which we love! I highly recommend LG for your TV purchases based on our experiences with LG and other models in the past. The anti-reflective screen is a great feature. Disappointed with the filmmaker mode. Too dim and yellow. YouTube has several good videos on fine-tuning the setting. All in all, great purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Display beautiful, very slow support I bought this back in October. We loved the picture. One drawback is that the panel failed at the end of December. I know that with modern electronics that can occur. There’s always failure rate. The issue I have is that it took a full month to resolve. First the tried a main board, which took 2 weeks to show up. When that didn’t work it was determined that the panel was bad. That took more than 2 weeks. Everything is working again. LG needs to work with their tech repair partners (Geek Squad in this instance) to make it possible to get parts available quicker. Waiting a month for warranty repair is ridiculous.

The inclusion of a wall mount was unnecessary in my case as I wanted better access to rear ports. The remote control and programming is excellent with the volume button needs to be raised higher For easier blind control as this function is used the most by me.

Per Capital One and LG there was a 6% cash back on my card, but it was not forth coming as I did not buy this from the LG site, it came from Best Buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible Customer Service LG customer service is hands down the worst to deal with. My 77” G3 has had a white spot for months now. They had 2 repair requests denied by independent contractors and finally sent out an appliance repair technician who knew nothing about their TV’s. Still waiting on a qualified technician to fix this $4000 TV. Just getting a repair request submitted with LG is near impossible. They are incredibly incompetent and unprofessional. Sent the wrong replacement panel to my house causing me to miss work waiting on freight delivery. Then the appliance guy had me help him load it in his LG van. Next FEDEX freight contacted me to pickup the panel which I no longer had. Then the next LG representative I spoke to said she showed absolutely no record of any parts or repair appointments for my TV, even though they had all my information. Complete rookies all the way around. Buyer beware! Pray you don’t have any problems if you buy one.

So let’s to the list of issues. 1) I had the drive 180 miles to get to my closes retailer that could sell this tv (Carson City Nv. Once there they didn’t have the model I wanted but they would sell me the unit to be picked up in Reno Nv. 2) LG only includes a wall mount, a table top stand is an option. 3) After purchasing a stand I learned that most retailers provide the stand free. I’m out over $150.00 as neither retailer offered the stand. 4) The owners manual and enclosed paperwork was the worst I’ve ever come across. The majority of pages address the wall mount. Not one word on connecting devices or setup. 5) After checking the internet and still not finding answers I called LG customer support.  The first call the lady was very polite, professional, and resolved most issues. I was very happy with her service. After this call I couldn’t get the LG “Magic Remote” to control my Dish Network set top box. This women couldn’t get it figured out and had me on hold twice for extended holds. Finally, she ask to get off the line so she could follow up with tech. She would call me back in one hour. Three hours later I called LG back. This time I was told the “Magic Remote” was still under development and wouldn’t support my controller. This is the same issue as my cable service. I guess the Magic Remote is so magic after all. Love the tv but this has been a terrible experience.

I have owned several OLED TV's in the past and this TV blows them away with brilliant colors and easily the brightest OLED TV that I have owned. The upscaling of SDR is also the best that I have ever seen. This is truly the best TV that I have ever owned! It is definitely worth the money for this premium gallery TV!

I have the 55inch on thr stand and although it leans back a little it's barley noticeable and works perfect. I would be curios how the camera system works integrated with tv as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Control (2 successive defective TVs) The quality control on these TVs is horrendous.   The first one I received (2/2/24) had the screen stop working after 6 hours of use.   No amount of resetting or tech support could fix the issue. I returned and had the TV replaced with the same model, which was delivered on 2/8/24. This model turned on, but the WiFi never worked.   Again, no amount of tech support or factory resets or my network resets worked (and all of our other devices worked). Stay as far away from this TV and maybe LG OLEDs as possible.   Maybe the TV is great when it works, but to have two straight TV failures signals something wrong with quality control.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best TV I’ve owned so far! I’ve had LG TV’s for the last 15 years. This G3 is no exception to the quality I have experienced with LG. We are streaming as of now and LG’s picture quality, speed, and response is excellent. We upgraded from our 65” C series to this 77” G3 because our new home has 14 foot ceilings and seemed to be dwarfed!. This 77” fits beautifully for our needs. We have it on a stand at this time and will eventually mount on the wall. The sound is excellent and even better since we’ve added the LG sound bar. We highly recommend this TV and LG for that matter. OLED is by far the best quality in TVs

Perfect color and contrast as it should be! The first one was 6.5 out of 10. The new one is a 9.0! Highly recommend this far.

Beautiful picture and it’s coupled with an LG Atmos 5.2.1 sound bar system that produces super high quality audio. Controls are intuitive and responsive, the learning curve is short on transiting from our 10 year old non-smart TV to ur LG. Excellent TV, highly recommended!

When I inquired with you about getting that “refund” to then go out and source it elsewhere I was told that is not something you do. So, here I am still with no TV that I bought over a month ago.

The other end connected to my receiver fine, but it kept falling out of the port on the TV. Could not make it work. Tried several different cables all with the same result. Something is wrong with the Optical Digital port on my TV.

Changed my mind about wall mounting through their relationship contractors at Handy and haven’t been able to get a refund. They also failed to send email updates. Hard to find a better OLED panel the ability to have everything controlled through the phone is ideal, especially not needing a remote. I’m glad we purchased the newest “smart version” so I can watch all of my favorite youtube channels. The TV is awesome, crystal clear, hi-res with perfect color saturation. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV, optional stand is meh. I'm updating from an older LG B7 that had developed some burn in. That was also a great TV so the differences between the two are fairly small. The new TV seems a bit smarter. it detected the audio connection to my receiver and configured the audio correctly, for example. It's difficult to judge the brightness without a side by side comparison but I do note that it has a better rendering of dark scenes. With the LG B7, I would sometimes need to turn off ambient lighting when there was a dark scene but, with the new TV , I haven't had to do that. The optional stand, on the other hand, is a fail. It's unstable. The problem is the dumb idea to give the stand a 20° range of motion. To accomplish this the TV sits on a metal pad under the stand that's about 8" x 4", much smaller than the stand base. The metal plate causes the base to sit slightly higher than the metal plate and this makes the whole stand very rickety and unstable. Awful design and totally unnecessary. I would much prefer a stand without the range of adjustment that is rock solid. While I'm not downrating the TV, I should mention that the overall experience with ordering through LG was unsatisfactory. The delivery didn't occur the day it was supposed to and there was no communication from LG or the delivery agent. Trying to find out what was going on after waiting for a delivery that everyone except me knew wasn't arriving left me going back and forth between the two. The delivery arrived 5 days later than the given date.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Chromecast, extremely disappointing This tv does not have chromecast even though it implies it does. It will only be recognized on YouTube and nowhere else. If you like to use your phone to cast things to your TV, this won't support it. You'll need to pray there's an app and then fiddle with the remote to get there in a horrible remote control to type UI. For a 3k tv, this is unforgivable. I'm so annoyed I had to mount it to the wall to find out iv been mislead. Now I have to pack it all up and drive it back and waste a whole day returning it. Extremely disappointing I can't watch my Content on it.

Went to Lowe’s to get 10 pieces of special TV mounting drywall anchors. TV picture is great. Kids love having app shortcuts on the remote and my 6 year old noticed way faster load times than our last tv. Ordered silicone remote control cover from Amazon to keep it safe. Very pleased with the TV.

LG’s smart TV platform with a variety of streaming apps and 65-inch size which is perfect for our bedroom. We like the 2023 model it has surpassed our expectations. The downside is the sling app on the G3 interface doesn't work well it constantly buffers. We have to use the Roku to stream Sling.

We did order the stand for it but for now we have it on the wall mount which is working great. We sure can say these smart tv are no longer a p,ug and play. There is so much more to setting it up and learning how to navigate the system but after 2 days we finally figured it out. Not easy ,but the TV is amazing

After only1.5 years of purchase, (just outside of the warranty period) there is no picture / black screen. Then all LG does is outsource costly repairs at your own expense. would have thought a $1,500 tv would last more than 1.5 years and LG would stand by their product and customers. go to Reddit if you don’t believe me problem is common.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great tv, customer service is user hostile bought directly from LG becasuse they offer a free stand , as I did not want to mount tv on wall. after the tv was delivered I receive notice that they dont have any stands in stock and dont know when they will have them. contacting customer service was a was of time ( after a 43 min hold) in that they could not refund the cost of the stand as it was free , even though thsy did not have any. had to spend and additional 175$ at amazon so I could use my tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Picture I had been looking at getting an oled tv for awhile a decided to go with Lg due to there history of making oled tvs and the MLA technology in the 77” G3 model. I bought as an early Christmas present but should have bought it earlier. The picture and colors are outstanding and are the best of any TV that I have owned. After installing the tv and turning on some normal content my wife walked into the room and said “that picture looks fantastic”. The Lg G3 is the tv to get.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome TV I bought the new G3 77" TV and it is amazing! I honestly believe I have the best picture quality for a 4K TV in the industry. I'm also enjoying the ability to stream my favorite shows with the Smart features. Plus the remote control is great. I am also surprised by the quality of the TV sound. Eventually I will probably add an LG sound bar, but the TV sound is surprisingly good that I don't really need it. Overall, I highly recommend the G3!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brighter brights! I've owned three OLED TVs prior to the G3, of which two were LG (C8 and B1). I continue to be impressed by what LG can deliver and the improvements of WOLED panels. I've always been impressed by the picture quality of OLED panels, but what has become more evident to me year to year is the importance of brightness and the G3 certainly delivers. Prior to the G3, picture quality between the different series were incremental improvements, however, for this model year, LG brings MLA to the G3 series which increases the brightness of the panel an amount enough worth considering. While I typically consume most of my content in a dark room setting, the G3 should definitely be considered for a bright room as well with just how bright this TV can get. With that said, one of the things that I have come to appreciate more about LG TVs is webOS and the Magic Remote. LG has done a great job developing webOS and continues to support additional features such as DTS (new for this year) and Dolby Vision, which may not be found on TVs at a similar price point. This is important because it makes consuming content from different sources easier - if you've ever seen a "not compatible" or "unsupported" message then you know exactly what this means. Additionally, the Magic Remote makes navigating the OS simple and intuitive with its pointer which I have not yet seen on another TV. Overall, I am very impressed with the LG G3 and the improvements LG continues to bring to its OLED TVs. Received Sweepstakes Entry for Review

No matter what the ambient room lighting is, this TV produces vivid images. I moved up from a 48” in TV, so this upgrade is just amazing. I can now read all the text from a distance. I would recommend this TV to anyone. I also purchased the S95QR soundbar which makes watching 4k movies with Dolby that much better.

I already had high hopes based on weeks of sifting through YouTube reviews but this TV has exceeded all my expectations. The colors are crazy realistic and the image is better than real life. I have felt fully immersed every time I use this TV :) We had a Samsung previously and the tizen OS was a pain. It’s slow and blocky. The smart features and ease of use of the G3 is beyond any tv I’ve used to date. I don’t even need to plug in the Apple TV to it. Suuuuuper happy with this purchase and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best OLED I have owned Purchased the LG G3 77" from Best Buy last week. I had a LG C2 77" this is replacing. The C2 is an excellent television with a superb image. I mainly upgraded to try out the new MLA technology and I wanted the clean wall mounted look. So, when buying this television, I did not see the G3 side by side with the C2 so I could not predict how much better the G3 is and I felt this upgrade may be a risk. All I can say is the G3 phenomenal. The picture quality is very similar to the C2, both being evo panels of course, but the MLA does work very well. I don't see a huge difference in SDR, which is to be expected, but when watching in Dolby Vision or HDR it gets VERY bright. I also see a difference in color volume and vibrance as the MLA does re-focus the light which makes the colors look more vibrant. This also could be due to the better processor and the new Color Boost Mode the television supports. Either way the G3 looks better, gets much brighter, has better motion, and the cpu is faster when navigating through WebOS. The wall mounting was very easy and I just set the mount into studs for the safest and strongest configuration. The television included all hardware including anchors and lag screws. I ran all cables in the wall and the television sits flush against the sheetrock. It looks so clean and beautiful and compared to the C2 I had mounted, you do not see any cables when looking at the t.v. from its side. I also own a Alienware QD-OLED gaming monitor, so I have been able to compare color volume and vibrance between the WOED technology and Samsungs QD. I have not gamed on the G3 yet, so I will set up the QD-OLED and the G3 on similar scenes to see if the G3 looks better with color than the C2 did. Compared to the C2 though, the gaming mode did wash colors down a little bit and you could see a difference between the C2 and the increased vibrance of the QD-OLED. I believe this was due to the game mode on the C2 more than anything and when playing on the C2 alone you would never know the difference. Both technologies have their strengths and weaknesses. The LG panels are less prone to burn in though, which that is a huge plus and why I did not go with the QD-OLED television set. Rtings has some good tests backing the findings, so it is something to keep in mind when purchasing one of these televisions. I only hope my monitor won't suffer from it. When I do set the G3 in gaming, I'll add what I see compared to the QD technology. My only complaint about the G3 is the remote. I do love the motion feature with the pointer. But it sufers from the same issue I had with the C2, and that is you have to click the power button multiple times to turn on the television. It gets frustrating as it is intermittent. Both the G3 controller and my C2 controller do it. My LG A1 OLED in my bedroom and my previous CX did not have this issue. So there is something going on with these newer controllers and I hope LG addresses it. But it is a minor complaint, but this television is expensive and the controller should work and be responsive. This would not prevent me from buying a LG OLED though and of course it did not.

What a great picture. I watched one of the Hobbit movies again in 4K and what a joyful experience. There are quite a few tvs that might compare to this tv but the MLA process in this model LG puts it a head and shoulder above all the rest. I hooked up an LG s90QY sound bar to it and it made the audio sound so much better. If you have the money, buy it now. You will not be disappointed.

Automatically switches between Dolby vision and HDR based on input. I use a Sonos arc and Dolby audio never sounded better. Integrates with Apple HomeKit for automation. Excellent number of ports, all of them hdmi 2.1. The best part is the brightness, OMg can’t be explained. You can turn up the brightness to insane levels on this tv. I have it in a bright room and no issues to reflection so far. Comes with a mount and really thin design. Gives you a lot of customization options, even allows you to turn off lg logo while shutting down, never seen that before. I have the 77 inch since 83 doesn’t have the mla pannel. I considered Samsung s95c (color was artificially rich), Sony a95l (crazy pricing and only 2 hdmi 2.1 ports). This is an excellent tv and you will not be disappointed with the image quality and features.

Every aspect of this set is outstanding including the built in speakers. I recently added the Nakamichi Dragon to my home theater and this combo is simply SICK!!!

This appears to be a LOVELY TV - but the included wall mount for "flush to the wall" mounting is totally unsuitable for use in the typical interior wall construction in the US (drywall on wooden studs 16 inches on center). Unlike all other aftermarket wall mounts, the included mount will fit in only ONE position, with both ends attached to wooden studs; there is no ability to shift the TV left or right to center it as the end user may desire (the mount is barely wide enough to span two studs). I can't believe LG sells a TV touting its ability to mount flush on the wall when such an installation can't accommodate shifting the TV from side to side. Your options are opening the wall to install blocking to which the mount can be secured or using an aftermarket mount and losing the flush mount capability. TV rating: 5 - wall mount rating: 0.

After connecting the TV to the internet via Ethernet, I have over 500 channels available without any cable subscription, all thanks to the available free LG Channels. You have the ability to connect to the internet directly from the internet app that comes on the display and look for the channels apps, then add them to your list of channels. The TV settings are pretty simple and self explanatory. If you want a theater atmosphere with big sound, then add an AVR (receiver) with front, surround and center speakers. To make it more dramatic, add a subwoofer and you will blow the room. You will love this TV 4K/120fps. I spent a little extra with this TV but it worth the extra bucks for the quality of picture and sound that you get from it. Buy a good eARC cable with a bandwidth up to 48 Gbps and connect it from the TV eARC to the speakers or receiver's eARC and it will give you the video and sound that you been wanting to get for your home theater.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Customer Service is the Worst! A month in my G3 77” OLED developed a white spot on the right side of the screen. It was very noticeable and disruptive to viewing. I contacted LG and had to jump through all kinds of hoops to get them to schedule a repair. After 2 separate independent repair companies dropped the job they sent out an LG appliance repair tech. Before his arrival I had to stay home from work for delivery of a new panel. They sent a panel for a C3 not a G3 as well. Once before the tech got here the white spot disappeared for a day, but came back the next. So the day the tech arrived the spot disappears again. He has to call some higher up who has him do a bunch of tests I’ve already done before. And because the white spot wasn’t present they took the parts and left. No sorry about that, if it happens again please notify us. Nothing but , yeah they sent the wrong panel anyway. The picture is amazing, but customer service and warranty service are absolutely atrocious!! It’s bad enough that I won’t buy anything LG in the future. And that white spot is back today a day after they left. Unreal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great upgrade! I recently upgraded from a C7 55 inch TV to a G3 77 inch TV. The picture quality is great and the smart features are very smooth. I love using the pointer function of the magic remote, especially when entering text on the keyboard. I only have a few minor complaints. When switching from one app to another, it requires going back to the homepage. My older TV was able to launch an app switching bar at the bottom of the screen, while still continuing to display the current app. Another issue is that the preset picture settings require some tweaking, especially in more brightly lit rooms. Overall though, this TV is a huge upgrade and definitely worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from With correct settings this TV will blow you away At first I thought we made the most expensive mistake of our lives (so far), but boy was I wrong - be sure to double check the settings on each app / streaming device you use and you’ll be sure to have a picture that is amazingly clear, precise, and lifelike. The blacks are so deep and never washed out. Sources of light, like lanterns or lit windows, look SO real it’s as if you’re actually there. Notably, we have used our OLED at times where there was peak light coming in from outside and there hasn’t been a problem with glare nor the screen being too dim. I wasn’t sure if the cost to upgrade would be worth it, but man am I blown away.

The only (big) issue is the TV stand. Not only it lacks one in the package, the one that's sold separately is also quite filmsy and tilts the TV backward. If you want this TV on a stand, your only option is to go third party.

Since then, it’s had 2 major problems: 1) It drops from my WiFi all the time. I need to stop watching shows to restart the tv or put in my WiFi credentials again to reconnect and it’s very frustrating 2) Last month, the panel broke out of nowhere. Now the picture blinks on and off constantly and is completely unwatchable. I had to call LG customer support 3 times and talk for nearly 3 hours before they created a repair ticket. I’m told it’s going to be at least another 2 weeks before the new panel arrives, so I’ll have been living with a broken TV for over a month. The LG repair technician told me that he sees this problem on the new models all the time. He told me that the new LG models are “garbage” and my experience is in line with that.

The TV looks fantastic wall mounted, even if you don’t use the included wall mount! The picture quality is beyond outstanding. I was concerned about the brightness of OLED coming from a QLED. But the G3 gets plenty bright. The colors and contrast have me blown away, even a couple weeks after purchase I still find myself mesmerized by the quality.

Minor nitpicks are: the remote feels cheap, the sensor bar is not fully integrated into the design of the TV frame, so it detracts a little from the sleek design, and the settings & WebOS interfaces are a bit dated-looking and filled with extra filler/apps and content, which makes one just want to use an external streaming device. Polishing these little details would help round out the premium experience of the product. Otherwise, this is an outstanding TV.

It is also much more responsive and easier to use than any other TVs I have bought in the past. Pictures are clear and vivid and makes for a great viewing experience.

The WEB OS is great, everything you need is there but some of the features are hard to find. Wi-Fi streaming is easy to setup and use. Sound is great right out of the box, voices are easy to understand.

I have had tech visit and three seperate call to LG customer service with a vague references that they will replace the defective part? no timing or scope of repair, very poor overall experience, I think twice before order directly from LG they supplied a TV that never powered on and still waiting for repair, Three seperate CS call at 40 minutes each, waste of time and money

The picture far exceed my expectations. The colors are incredible! It adds so much to the viewing pleasure. Even my wife who normally doesn't care about such things, was impressed especially when watching the Star Wars and Harry Potter movies. The experience is almost good enough for me to do away with my dedicated 125" home theatre setup. Maybe in another 5 years I can afford a 100" one....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Defective panel, LG refused to honor warranty We were very excited to purchase the G3 77” tv, feeling secure in its quality due to the supposed included 5 year panel warranty. However, clearly LG does not stand behind their products, even their top of the line OLED series. Our new tv came out of the box looking perfect. No apparent damage on the tv or the box. We had it professionally mounted/installed on the wall and shortly discovered that the tv is not functional due to a defective panel. It attempts to turn on, but the screen displays a line of pixels along the end of the right side and shuts off. Support has refused a warranty repair twice on our end, and also refused the retailer who also contacted LG in an attempt to help us out. LG is claiming the panel received physical damage. Which is not the case at all. In closely examining the screen, a small manufacturing defect is visible inside the panel on the very bottom-right corner where the line of pixels appears. The defect presents a fine line of whitish dots on the LEDs in a diagonal angle. The tv is in otherwise perfect looking shape. There is absolutely no physical damage on the tv, on the screen or otherwise. The box showed no damage or signs of mishandling during shipping. The protective plastic layer, which was still on the tv when we tested it and photographed, also had no damage. Any impact strong enough to damage the panel would surely be evident on the screen and box, this tv is incredibly secured in the box for shipping. At present we are not able-bodied after a devastating car accident, where our van flipped on its side when a speeding car ran a red light and hit us. This is why we opted to have the tv professionally installed, and now we must arrange for the tv to be unmounted and boxed for a costly and very inconvenient return experience. A brand new top of the line OLED, defective-out-of-the-box should 100% be covered for warranty repair. Do better for your customers who spent thousands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG OLED G3 83” TV I bought and installed this OLED G3 83 inches TV in first week of October 2023 to replace my older OLED E8 65 inches TV. The picture is clear and very similar to my older OLED E8 65 inches TV that I bought in 2018, but the new G3 83 inches has lots more light reflections compare to my older E8 65 inches TV. There is also an issue with the live stream, the TV is not recognized live stream channels when I select one of the channels through the TV guide; it shows the circle/waiting for data to download then goes blank/dark screen, while the hardwire internet/network shows green. However, if I go in the Pluto app and select the live stream channels then the TV recognized the channels. LG needs to fix this via firmware update.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Picture is very detailed. Sound setting too! Kudos to LG for keeping premium OLED going strong. Fantastic TV design, very thin, it looks like a picture on the wall. Although the built in bracket is amazing engineering, its not for the faint of heart installing. As its not a vesa 2 foot wide mount and most likely wont hit two studs while centering on the wall. We ended up using one stud near center, then using 4 heavy duty butterfly lag bolts. It seemed sketchy, but my electrician said it'll be fine. And apparently LG thinks so too. (based on the hardware they include) But, in the end, the TV is so close to the wall, no other bracket can do that. Thank you LG for producing the greatest TV to date. I also wish to mention, I found out a way to improve to sound to be very impressive as well. Use the Pro AI sound setting, its VERY Good! 5 stars for that too.

One of my biggest concerns was being in bright room with windows facing the TV, but this OLED is surprisingly, plenty bright! The “real cinema” feature definitely takes the studder/jerks out of watching movies from my laptop, don’t sleep on this option. I only wish it came with a stand. I ended up getting a Sanus VSTV1 (would recommend as well)

Poor design because of the fact it will only pick up one wall stud 16 inches on center. The 83 inch television weighs 90 pounds and the light weight plastic anchors they give are NOT sufficient to hold the tv. It took me some time to figure out the best approach and hardware to use to secure the tv without compromising my plaster wall. A call to customer service was fruitless and frustrating as the person had no solution or guidance to give. That being said the tv looks awesome on my wall and the picture is truly amazing! But be aware if you want to hang on wall you have some research and extra work to do to secure it.

The TV comes with a flush wall mount but because of the way we mounted it, it went past part of our stairs with trim. So we had to mount it on another wall mount that allowed it to come out past that trim. I think the included wall mount would be great for a larger wall. The wall mount we used allowed us to mount the LG Sound Bar directly below and hooked to the wall mount. The TV has an awesome picture with wonderful colors. It comes with a large number of installed apps and a library of others. It’s easy to install and uninstall the apps and move them around for ease of use. A really handy item is the quick keys on the remote that can be programmed for your most commonly used apps (1-8). The remote is a little difficult to learn but there’s several great YouTube videos that explain all the shortcuts and other ways the remote can be helpful. We went from an older 32” plasma display TV to this one so it was quite a shock to see things in their beautiful colors and sounds. The setup on this TV (cables, etc) were not difficult to do. One thing is the cover on the back that covers all the cables was not either in the shipping container or wasn’t included. Not too much of a big deal since you can’t really see the back of the TV but it would have been helpful to keep the wires more organized and contained. As our daughters told us, “Welcome to the 21st century”. It is amazing to have a TV that looks so great and works well and has beautiful colors and sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than Plasma We are in California, and have a solar array, so are forced into time of use billing which can be as high as $.53/kwhr in summer 4-9 pm peak pricing or $.43 in winter so want to make sure we never have to buy power especially during the cloudy winter months. My old 60" Plasma, which looks fantastic in a darker room, used 447 watts/hour while the new LG G3 OLED 65" uses just 131 so essentially a Kwhr every three hours or so. I thought the OLED would be better during brighter afternoon hours in my room and hopefully as good at night. It looks MUCH MUCH better day or night and a huge upgrade. The 65 inch has a much less bulky cabinet frame so is identical in physical size despite having 17 percent greater viewing screen size. The fact that I might save as much as $500/year on buying power from PGE is the kicker. Not so important in cheap electricity areas of course but then solar makes no sense in those areas either. So yes, OLED (at least the G3) is far superior and worth the investment.

My son loves to play Diablo VI on it. Prior to this TV I had a similar LG TV bought back in 2016 which still works great but didn't support all of the apps the new TV doe. LG TVs are fantastic.

Excellent picture quality and lots of options to customize picture as well as sound. Looks so amazing fully flush on the wall, although it was a pain in the rear to get it the way we wanted it.l although that was more the wall’s fault than the tv. Love that it detects anything I plug in and the user interface is overall nice. The only thing so far that I have issue with, and I almost took a star off because of it but didn’t think it would be fare… I’m really annoyed at the lack of screensaver options. When we use the firestick it displays lovely wallpapers when we pause anything we’re watching but we figured we don’t need the firestick given the tight space in the back and the lack of a need for it but to have such a nice tv and be stuck looking at some rather underwhelming firework everytime it’s paused is pretty unimpressive. I’ve done my research and it doesn’t seem possible to change it. Yes the art gallery is amazing but why doesn’t it just automatically come up when the tv is paused? LG please implement this. You can’t have a tv that’s supposed to be like a picture on the wall with a big old black screen when it’s actually on.

I received the stand (BTW this TV doesn't come with a standard stand) on 11-08. AMEX was charged on 11-06 also. Got a email delivery date for the TV of 11-17. 11-17 that date came and went, a phone call to LG indicates FEDEX picked the TV up at the wherhouse, but now it appears to be lost. LG says I need to file a claim with FEDEX. No idea where the TV is or what they will do next. Called LG and cancelled the order and bought the same TV at Best Buy for the same price as LG online had it for. Was delivered the next day. Installed it on the "FREE" stand LG sent and actually love the TV. Now the rest of the customer no service story... LG refuses to release my refund of the purchase price for the TV to AMEX because they didn't get the Free stand back. I actually offered to go to Best Buy, buy a new stand and ship it to them. They refused that offer as the actual stand must be sent back. I then offered to pay $149.99 to LG to solve the problem, but they answered no and want the original stand back. I don't know how this will end, but I will never purchase another LG product. Every appliance in my home is LG but no more after this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing TV - 65 inch LG G3 I am a very tech savvy person. In fact, I have been actively researching TVs prior to pulling up the trigger for a 65 G3. My choice was between the A95L QD OLED and the G3. I went with the G3, as the picture quality was almost similar to the A95L, the price was significantly better, and, most importantly, there were no software / hardware issues with the G3 ( the sound lag on the A95L when using Apple TV was the deal breaker for me). I could not be happier with the G3 - I made the right choice and I don’t regret it. the picture is stunning, the TV looks gorgeous on the wall and there is seamless integration with all my devices. I highly recommend this TV and, if you are looking for the best TV, look no further - G3 is the right choice

I purchased the TV on my own at normal price after substantial research on various models. Image quality is fantastic, no weak points to speak of at all. Even in a moderately-lit room, this TV can actually get too bright for my personal preferences; no issues at all with dimming. The sound quality is better than expected, perhaps a little above par for typical TV speakers. Dialogue is clear and I found that the AI functions actually worked well to improve sound in my smallish living room. LG WebOS is decent, not great. Everything is easy to use but it's a little locked down for my tastes; wish it was easier to cast a phone (e.g., Chromecast) and that it allowed additional apps (e.g., Zoom). The physical TV itself is also excellent. Super thin, great build quality, and looks great mounted flush to the wall. My only criticism: using the included paper template for mounting was not ideal to ensure a level mount; it was too difficult to get it flat enough to properly level and made centering it more difficult than needed. I ended up just measuring the mounting hardware and leveling the flush mount itself. Installation was simple other than that. Extremely impressed with this purchase so far; looking ahead to using it for a long time.

T V arrived on schedule and a day later received an e - mail that the stand is out of stock adn no idea when it would be available. Customer service was zero help. so I have a nice 2000$ tv and no way to install it.

I'm having trouble getting the LG remote to control my Klipsch sound system. It will not skip the TV speakers completely to control the Klipsch system. I need to use the Dish remote to control my sound. Not a big deal though. The initial hook up was seamless, went just fine and smooth. All in all I really like my new LG OLED 55" TV.

The main issue I've encountered is the TV randomly turning on by itself. Despite this Google the issue and ensuring that my device is updated with the latest firmware, the problem persists. This unexpected powering on has become a source of frustration, interrupting my viewing experience and creating an inconvenience. I had hoped for a reliable and seamless performance from an established brand like LG, but this issue has left me dissatisfied. . As a consumer, I believe in the importance of reliable products, and unfortunately, my experience with the LG G3 TV falls short of expectations.

However, the one big (?) complaint I have is the interface/integration with Roku. Roku does not recognize the G3, so the Roku device cannot control the volume and it cannot turn on/off the TV. Don't know if this is an LG or a Roku problem, but it is an annoyance nonetheless. I did not have this problem with my previous 65-inch LG NanoCell tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OLED G3 77 Amazing TV I have had the TV for a month now. Very pleased! I replaced a 60 in plasma with 77 in oled. I was concerned about the soap opera effect, but after setting the tv up i have no concerns and am very pleased with the TV. With high res video it is amazing! I did the wall mount with help from my son, the included wall mount works very well, but would have been perfect if 2 in wider. Its 16 in wide so you cant really mount it on 2 studs, so i put in a backer board just to make sure. Oh, that step that has you put the alignment tape on the tv mount bolts and the other color tape on the mating holes, don't leave that out. As you are trying to line up without the tape it is heavy an wide, not as easy as you think, but oncewe put the alignment tape on, 5 seconds to get it into the wall mount. So all in all the delivery was good. Install easy with two people, final product amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible picture, bright and clear Bought a few weeks ago to replace a previous flagship Vizio P75QX-H1 led set. I was worried about peak brightness as the vizio can put out a 40% peak over the G3, however my fears were completely unfounded. In SDR viewing (aka the majority of the time), the difference is indistinguishable and I'd argue that in HDR/dolby vision content its hardly noticable. Instead what is noticeable are the true blacks with no bloom, how much cleaner the image appears (due the far superior gradient control, uniformity, and lack of DSE) and how much better motion control and upscaling is on the set. there's a few things I miss like being able to update settings via my phone without having to bring up the on-screen menu, but I won't miss the V-brand software update nightmare, crashing, flickering etc. The G3 is everything it claims to be and more. Glad I chose this over the C3 model and stretched my budget a bit. Only oddity is that I have a MR22A remote instead of the MR23N/GN remote this unit is supposed to have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor design. Great pic, decent sound from internal speaker. Poor electrical plug design. The plug is hardwired to the TV, which prevents replacing the cord with one that better fits one's needs. The plug head, that plugs into the wall socket, is poorly designed for a TV that is supposed to be mounted as flush to the wall as possible. You know the "Gallery" series. The plug is too thick to be able to plug the TV into an electrical socket behind the TV, as many newer homes are now setup with, with a flush wall mount. Also, the inputs for the TV are located in a bad location for flush mounting and running cables - HDMI, optic, LAN etc. - down through in wall tubes to hide the cables. You know the "Gallery" series look. The connection inputs need to be facing down or toward the center of the TV where cables can be more easily managed and routed. You can't reach in and connect things on the side on the flush mount. The TV needs to be unmounted to connect anything. So, why keep an old design for connecting periphery equipment? Also, the cable management on the back of the TV is pathetic. It seems these would be relatively easy to correct.

LG makes exceptional products. But the picture on my new 2023 77” is truly Exceptional! I now know why the CNET TV reviewer call it the best TV that he has reviewed. No matter what I watch it's great but when we watch a movie it is an unbelievable experience. The TV has 4K/HDR/Dolby Vision/Atmos I don’t know what more I could ask.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots to learn TV is awesome. Just a complaint on the bracket. It should be made to fit on the wall studs thus not needing the dry wall anchors. I had to drill on an angle to get one side of the bracket thru a stud. the other side went in flush. I first installed the tv on a Veso 300x300 mount and it bent the bracket so I used the LG mount and we used 3 people to hold the tv and the other to guide us where the screws are on the bracket to hold it. Little stressed doing that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Outstanding TV Have had this TV for a few weeks and have only been able to watch it for the last 10 days due to LG not honoring their free installation offer. I called LG several times without success and eventually installed the TV myself with the lifting help of a neighbor. The instructions provided on how to mount the bracket were, in my opinion, extremely difficult to follow since you have to determine each step of the installation procedure by viewing diagrams without text (some of the diagrams were almost too small to determine what was needed). Further a diagram showing the relationship of the cable channel to any needed wall electronic connections should be provided in order to achieve maximum benefit of the provided flush wall mount. In other words, the wall mounting instructions and related ideal locations of related electrical/HDMI/Internet are very poor. However once installed, my OLED77G3PUA is outstanding, picture quality is excellent, and functionality is great. Watching this TV is a most enjoyable experience which makes my purchase of it very worthwhile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far... so good Have had this TV for about 2 weeks, still getting use to it. On some scenes with daylight in the background, the rest of the image looses clarity. May be too bright and washes out the details. So far, very good with sports, movies are not quite as good. Most likely the settings, but what looks good for one type of content isn't good for another. Compared to my Samsung 65" plasma, the picture is slightly better, but perhaps I was expecting a bigger improvement. As far as sound quality, I don't use the TV speakers although when tried out they weren't all that great and also don't use the smart features but they seem to be OK (use apple TV 4k).

The EVO panel in the 2023 model is expected to enhance its visual performance further. 1300 nits make a great picture with whiter whites and overall color. The only issue we have is the Roku app in the LG interface does not work well. It will continuously buffer as you watch your program. We must use the Roku device to stream that app without having our shows continuously buffer. All other apps on the LG interface work fine. IDK what this issue is from hopefully LG and Roku will get together and fix this problem in a future software update.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding dynamic range and luminance I initially bought an LG C2 in 83", and was happy enough with the true blacks on that display along with adequate luminance for theatrical content viewing in a properly darkened room. After that particular unit turned out to have severe artifact issues I returned it and got the then brand new LG G3 in 77" (going down in size both for closer to parity pricing and because of the MLA tech not being in the 83"). I am very satisfied with my choice. The G3 is spectacular: still perfect blacks, great color rendition in Filmmaker Mode tweaked red +1, full warm/+50 color temp, and now with fabulously bright highlights. The floating lights when Paul is walking around in Caladan before the Gom Jabbar scene really show off how the pixel by pixel illumination tech of OLED is the way to go: the light shines spectacularly while the rest of the scene remains rendered with proper gamma, without weird local backlight array artifacts or the like that other technologies might need to employ to try and get by. OLED + MLA is the way at this point in 2023, as far as I'm concerned.

Very disappointed with the audio, speakers doesn’t come out clear especially on the voices when watching a movie. Recommend getting a good sound bar with it. Another thing is that the internet keeps on disconnecting and would have to unplug and plug back in to reconnect it. I thought it was my router so I upgraded to a new and best router I could get but still didn’t fix the problem. If you want the perfect display on a TV definitely get this G3 TV.

The picture quality is incredible. I feel like I am in the location so natural. We can also adjust brightness based what we are watching or playing with the built in presets for music, movies, games, dark space or in bright room light. That’s really cool. The built in surround sound channels are so great that I do not need any additional speakers. We can also pair with external speaker simultaneously. The AI audio mode automatically adjusts the sound based on what we are listening to. The response time is super fast.  It’s looks sleek but very sturdy. The thin bezel makes the screen huge. I like the 100’s of free live LG channels. Also we can add our favorite subscription channels if needed. All the setup and installation was super simple with the detailed instructions with pictures. The voice recognition is super helpful. We can turn on the tv with just voice. And open the apps. We can search a song by singing. It’s user friendly.

I definitely see the progression in upscaling and technology although both TVs look amazing. The G3 is by far the brightest oled I’ve seen and the colors are vibrant. The HD picture quality is amazing and the SD upscaling is impressive with this latest processor. The game mode makes my PlayStation look amazingly bright and colorful to say the least. Also, I feel a sense of comfort knowing that these tv’s last as my C7 has been perfect. The 5 year included warranty made this big purchase a no-brainer. Great job LG.

Have been unable to set up SONOS sound bar using HDMI eArc, and ROKU streaming stick must be manually pulled out of HDMI jack and reinserted each time to work. An included accessory called IR Blaster does not function and support has been unhelpful with any of these issues, locked into scripts and unable to think logically about the issues. Quite disappointing.

I live in an apartment, so I didn’t wall mount this. I did purchase a stand, and am not upset that it wasn’t included. I don’t get the argument that it has to come with a stand, just because someone wants one. It also doesn’t come with an Xbox, but nobody is complaining about that. This is my 4th LG oled tv, and each time I upgrade, there are minor improvements from the model I replaced. This time Im replacing a 77” C1. The difference is not minor. This is like going from dating Betty White to Taylor Swift. The colors are so much richer, and brighter than I’ve seen on an LG tv. Im sure the decision to purchase this wont be made from my review, so I wont go on anymore.

It is bright, colors are deep and vivid, communicates nicely with AppleTV and Xbox series X. It mounts flush to the wall. I can't comment on the sound quality because I have a soundbar connected to the unit. The most challenging part was finding the model number from the scroll down menu of this page to leave a review.

Thank goodness for YouTube community! Don't like that you don' seem to be able to disconnect internal speakers, only add external speakers (sound bar, surround system etc.) to them and use volume controls to take internals to zero. Plenty bright for sure, even in sun-drenched room. Expensive but hopefully future-proof for a while!

I have tried everything to fix this and it is annoying. Other than that the TV is amazing but if you want to use any of the smart features, do not buy it. If you do some research online, you’ll see this is a common issue.. the LG refuses to fix

We also watch broadcast television with a home digital antenna. This television has the new ATSC3 Tuner so we receive 4k over-the-air television as well as all of our streaming services over the Internet. I can not think of anything that is missing from this television. The included wall mounting bracket was easy to install. The wall bracket allows the television to be flush against the wall, it looks like a picture on the wall. And there is the ability to show pictures on the screen when the television is in standby mode.

I opted to mount on a stand vs using the included wall mount. I started with watching 4K movies on the LG G3. This OLED TV gives you an incredible experience with how well the image quality is. The colors are bright and are very accurate once you have time to dial in all of the settings. The “Black” levels that the LG G3 can produce are some of if not the best that I have ever seen. Next, I put gaming to the test to try out how well the Auto Low latency Mode works along with FreeSync, G-SYNC, Variable Refresh Rate, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos. I can honestly that this LG G3 OLED TV has blown me away. It is truly an amazing experience. If this TV is within your budget I could not recommend more than anything else on the market currently.

Decided to try the LG G3 77" (same price point as previous 83") and all I have to say is I'm glad I had the screen retention in the other brand otherwise I might have missed out on this feature rich and beautiful display! This my first LG tv and I am really surprised how impressed I am with the 77" G3.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brightest OLED period I have always wanted OLED because all the best reviewed TVs you see out there are for OLED TVs but no matter what you read about the inky blacks you always heard they did not get bright enough for bright rooms. Traditional LED TVs were always the best for bright rooms. Well everything has changed this year when LG introduced MLA technology on their new OLED TVs for 2023. Now these OLED TVs are just as bright as their LED TVs. Finally you will get inky blacks and bright whites. The G3 is an awesome TV. It is hard to describe and reproduce with pictures. You have see it in person. I read a ton of review before purchasing this TV and I was more impressed even though I knew what to expect. Also having Dolby Vision is a great feature for this TV. With Dolby Vision you know that you are getting the most accurate and best picture that the film maker intended. If you pair it with a Dolby Atmos surround sound speaker you will get the best picture and sound available. This TV fit great into my bright living room with 6 windows. The viewing angle was also great since we have an open concept living room and no picture degradation can be seen when viewing at any angle. It seems unrealistic what detail you are able to see at an angle. If you have been holding off on OLED because of the lack of brightness you will be extremely happy with the LG G3.

Every LG OLED I've bought has exceeded my expectations for performance, features, and picture quality. I still have my previous 2 LG tv's and they both still work flawlessly. What impresses me about LG is that they've committed to OLED technology and the constant improvement of the technology. That sort of commitment is only demonstrated by a few manufacturers today. That's what makes the decision to stick with LG's OLED televisions an easy one.

We purchased because of that (between LG and another brand that didn't have Dolby Vision). Paired with a new JBL Bar 1300X and wow...just wow. A bit pricey overall, but hopefully worth it in the long run, if it lasts a while. Replaced a 65" plasma that gave more than a decade of good service.

Fantastic colors, some, that I did not know existed. I believe this is worth every penny I spent on it. It is very thin, though, it does not flush against the wall due to the power cord. No problem at all. I do not notice anything but edge to edge TV screen. I had a 2003 LG C1 that was pretty amazing back then; I just cannot believe how lifelike this is. Even at 77' it is crystal clear. My wife says there is a show that was shot at night with like a filter that she never really was able to see. This TV brought it all out. Have it professionally installed. You are getting more then you pay for with this TV

Spent two days with technical support and now trying to schedule a pickup is not going well either. Too bad as the picture is one of the best but will go elsewhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Picture and OLED Improvements are GREAT!! I have been using the TV for about a month. I have it on the Stand LG charges extra for.... I didn't ask for, nor want the Wall Mount Stand that was supplied for free. The LG stand mounted easily and securely holds the TV. It has a "roller" mechanism built into the bottom of the stand that does allow one to turn/swivel the TV to a limited but adequate degree. The picture is stunning as most people agree. It does take some "dialing in" to get the ultimate picture for your liking. I liked the A.I. feature that takes you through several groups of pictures to help the TV decide what type of picture settings you prefer and adjust the settings accordingly. (Vivid, subdued, heavy color, slightly muted color, etc.). I do not like the lack of even a rudimentary operating manual. I know, the easy way out and the norm in this day and age, is to let the customer flail around on the internet and You Tube, but this doesn't make me like it any better.... Yes, a sound bar is really necessary. You will have to decide what your hearing and wallet prefer. I am still watching the LG recommended videos as well as various You Tube videos and trying to glean some knowledge from each one. You know it is a challenge to stay ahead of a Smart TV!! Was not happy that my Spectrum (Charter) Remote was not able to completely mate to the TV. Bottom line: Love the Brightness, Color and Sharpness of the picture. The Anti-Glare and Anti-Reflection properties they have developed for the screen do work (I have 2 stories of windows in the Living Room where the TV is located).

The usability relative to default Home Screen choices should be clearly and consistently user programmable. I had to change the optical out to optical out + TV speaker to prevent dropouts. But, most concerning is the blurry image issue. I have turned off the power saver and tried standard and vivid picture settings. Still we have occasional blur ones which seems to be more than up scaling delays. I wish I could interrogate the TV easily and find out the resolution of the program I’m viewing.

I'm a fan of keeping the TV as flushed as possible to the wall for a cleaner look, and this model helps with that. Trying to mount it flat on the wall in US market with wood studs turned out to be more work than I expected since I needed to get additional anchor mounts, install recessed power outlet, wire the cable exactly based on the recessed channel behind the TV. Installation aside, the TV itself has beautiful image and is very contrasty and very bright. You'd often hear that OLEDs are too dim for daytime use, and I find this G3 model to be almost too bright when it comes to HDR contents. I hope the TV can get thinner in the future models! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Razor sharp clarity and vibrant colors The LG OLED evo G3 is a massive upgrade from my old set but even with high expectations the G3 far surpassed them. Colors pop and I've found myself staring at the set finding details that were not there before in movies and games. When I first watched a soccer match on the set, I thought the TV was broken since the picture was bad, turned out the stream was so low quality, the TV showed the flaws. If you have not made the jump yet, I highly recommend the G3 or the C3 and you won't regret it. What an amazing product LG has made, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Things have improved greatly in the last 6 years for OLED and this tv shows the advances. The only downside is the native sound of the builtin speakers, but most who go for this style of tv will have alternate sound system. The picture is very sharp and the colors are true. Setup was relatively easy and straightforward. There are plenty of fine tune perks if your so inclined. I didn't use the wall mount instead I chose the table top stand. Well made and easy to install. Cable management is a real plus. If you find this tv on sale as I did, make the choice, you won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A real pleasure to view and navigate I've had the TV for a week, after purchasing the 55" version a couple of weeks earlier. The 65" version also lives up to my expectations. I used an existing wall mount which worked well (not all do). If I move the TV to another location, I'll use the included wall mount, which is necessary to achieve that super-flush-to-the-wall look. The self-help videos provided by LG are workable, but I suggest searching YouTube videos for greater detail if needed. The routing of cables could use channels that exit the TV in other places, perhaps via the sides or even the top. It seems that the only way to use the otherwise excellent routing system is to create a visibility issue when cables leave the bottom of the TV. That of course can be avoided by cutting into a wall near the existing LG cable routing, though cable routing there requires taking care to be precise in order to meet the channeling on the back of the TV. Related to this: I would have preferred the option to use a shorter, detachable power cable instead of being forced to stick to the longer and fixed power cable, but I understand that most users probably find the length useful whether using external cable management or in-wall concealment. I didn’t have that option because I installed the TV up against a brick wall that’s behind plaster—that would have been a messy effort to create something approaching an in-wall cabling solution. I was therefore forced to route cables more than once using LG’s cabling locks. One of the third-party YouTube videos suggested using Cinema mode instead of filmmaker mode for the screen. I’ve tried both and the difference is not dramatic, but a bit brighter look on darker images does happen in cinema mode. I like how easy it is to change this setting at any time. And that leads to a more general point about the relative ease of changing settings. In general, making changes to the system is easier than I’ve found on other TVs that I have owned. Still, there is a learning curve, and I continue to discover more features I can manipulate if I’d like. As I said at the beginning, I’m still quite new to the TV. WebOS is one of the better interfaces out there. I found that I needed to edit LG channels and live TV channels to reduce the amount of scrolling. What really helps is the ability to screen out genres when adding channels or afterward. The only interface that beats WebOS in my experience is the Apple TV box. I move back and forth between both interfaces. It is here that the LG shines: it is a seamless transition from within LG’s WebOS interface. If I prefer to use the Apple TV when firing up the TV, eArc works well for that; but even then, it’s easy, using the LG remote home button, to immediately be presented with the WebOS. No glitches so far, unlike other brands that are relatively clunky, requiring reboots at times. Native sound is fine for me. However, I use my receiver eArc-ed, which works well. Overall, I expect to stay satisfied with LG’s G3 series.

Obviously the 4K OLED is great but the game changers are the brightness and optimizations that use AI. I use this TV is a very bright room that would often washout my old TV. I have had no issues with glare or refection with the new one. Also, we often watch nostalgic 80s and 90s shows that we record OTA and watch with an HDHomeRun and Plex. The AI enhancement of the old low-res shows are amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing TV with a few quirks Finally received the TV a couple of days ago and was able to get it installed and set up the day after. The TV is definitely brighter than other OLEDs thanks to its MLA. I have the Samsung QD-OLED and despite the MLA, the G3 cannot match the color accuracy of the QD-OLED. But let me say you would never know the difference unless you had them side by side. The pictures are amazing and lots of picture settings to choose from. I still need to play around and get them just right. I am not happy with the Game Mode setting as it is too dim for gaming so I found that preset to be odd. The menu navigation with quick shortcuts are great. I also wasn't too sure about the remote but it is smaller than expected and I like the "magic" part of it. I do wish it had backlighting though. Navigating the home menu is easy and quick and actually like it over the Samsung one which is more cumbersome to use. However, I did notice a lag once where the scrolling took almost a couple of seconds (not sure what happened there). I chose the 77" over the 83" based on price but also MLA which the 83" inch did not have. As far as the quirks, the remote needs backlight and it should at least be rechargeable. The power cord is attached to the TV which is odd for a 2023 TV. it should be like all other TVs where you plug in the power cord. I also did not like the layout of the cable management in the back since my outlets are on opposite side of where all the connections are so made the wiring a bit more difficult. The wall mount was super easy to install. The studs were where I needed them to be so no issues. I did not use the paper mounting guide as it would not have worked for me. I simply just measured how high I needed the TV to be, leveled and added the lag screws. Trying to get the TV attached to the mount was another story as I had to mount the TV higher than normal and it took 3 of us to do it. The TV build quality is stellar and the TV is much heavier than I thought it would be.

I bought the 77 inch for my Home Theater room, as the 83 inch did not have the new Micro Lens Array. I am extremely pleased with the TV. My oldest LG OLED is a OLED65C6P from 2017. I keep it to watch my 3D movies. It works great and has no burn-in after 6+ years. I wish the G3 had 3D capability. The G3 in my Home theater Room is much brighter than the G1 in my Bedroom. The colors are fantastic. The contrast, black levels etc are exceptional as expected. I do not use the internal speakers for sound. They are OK, but not comparable to my Dolby Atmos system. LG provides apps for the major streaming services. The LG remote works great, but is not backlit. The TV syncs seemlessly to my Marantz AV receiver and my Sony Bluray player. The installers had no trouble installing the TV, though I had to use a separate tilt mount. The included wall mount is not usable. There is no ability to center the TV in a room and still mount it on studs.

I had to continually cancel the service because they thought I had the TV. Two people showed up for the installation. I finally had to take control and manage the scheduling myself. In the meantime, I could have purchased the TV from Amazon for $200 less but couldn't cancel the order. Customer service was supposed to give me some kind of credit but nothing yet.

But after buying it, the installation instructions require mounting to concrete only! “It is recommended that this product be installed only on concrete walls. Installing it elsewhere (e.g. walls made of wood, plywood, bricks, etc.) is not recommended and may result in the product falling.” And the mounting bracket spaces mounting bolts 15” apart; not enough to span two studs even if you wanted to.

We output the tv sound signal to our stereo system and soundbar and noticed an improved sound quality in comparison to the output of our former plasma tv. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing picture and appearance. Very happy with this TV, and impressed. I did suspect the speakers would be weak, but I bought the TV as a video screen and glad I did. Paired with my sound system (7.1 with powered SW) it makes a great theater experience in our large living room. Also happy with the thin appearance on the wall. Visiting people have responded with a simple "Wow!".
