IBM Active Memory Mirroring

The IBM Active Memory Mirroring is designed to ensure that system operation continues even during the unlikely event of an uncorrectable error in the main memory. When it’s activated, two identical copies of the content in the memory are maintained and are simultaneously updated with any changes. In the event of a memory failure on the primary copy, the second copy is automatically called to eliminate platform outages due to uncorrectable errors.
