HP SmartBuy Chromebook G2 Mini Celeron 3865U 4GB RAM 32GB SSD is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ditch Wired Keyboard/Mouse Nice looking small chrome desktop, drives a 34in screen with no problems, except would be better to have the m3 processor as a higher performance low cost option. The bundled keyboard and mouse are from the prehistoric wired times, and are not worth the delta in price. This is surprising since the first generation chrome box had wireless accessories. Why? HP, please fix.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good and getting better! I've had my G2 for nearly 2 months now and It's been an interesting experience. The hardware itself is very good considering the price. A solid and quiet little machine. For a Celeron, the 3865U is quite snappy. It benchmarks about twice as fast as an n3060 by comparison. Watching Youtube and Netflix playback is very smooth. Webpages load quickly and most, but not all, scroll smoothly. Suffice to say, the processor won't hold you back much on the low overhead ChromeOS. It comes with 4GB of ram, and I was going to upgrade it, but so far, it hasn't been a limitation. Mine also came with HP's ChromeOS keyboard which is very small. If you're used to laptop keyboards this'll be no problem. I wasn't, but I am now! ChromeOS takes some getting used to and I'm still learning it. I'm like Where's my files? Google Drive? Downloads? SDCard? Geez. I'm getting there though, and compared to other operating systems this is a downright zen experience. That's a good thing. I cannot give it 5 stars because occasionally you DO get reminded it's only a Celeron, and ChromeOS DOES have some difficult to overcome limitations when compared to the Windows and Linux environments I came from. I'd have to say, if you have to go cheap, and your needs are simple, this is the way to go. If you can afford something faster, then a Windows machine seems to be, at least currently, more capable.
