Rated 5 out of 5 by from USB ports on Monitor Do Not Work Every time I turn on the monitor I get this message: Display Connection Might Be Limited DisplayPort/MHL connection might not work. Try using a different cable. Possible cause Solutions to try The connected device or dongle has new features for USB-C that your PC (or phone) doesn’t support. The connected device has new features for USB-C that the cable doesn’t support. The connected device or dongle isn't connected to the correct USB-C port on your PC (or phone). The connected device or dongle is connected to your PC (or phone) using an external hub or dock. There are too many other devices or dongles connected to your PC (or phone) that use a USB-C connection. Note USB Type-C introduces a new feature called Alternate Modes. These Alternate Modes allow other types of non-USB connections to be used with the USB-C cable and connection. Here are the display Alternate Modes: DisplayPort The DisplayPort Alternate Mode lets you project video and play audio on an external display that supports DisplayPort. MHL The MHL Alternate Mode lets you project video and play audio on an external display that supports MHL. HDMI The HDMI Alternate Mode lets you project video and play audio on an external display that supports HDMI. Make sure your PC (or phone), the external display, and the cable supports DisplayPort or MHL alternate modes. Make sure the device or dongle is connected directly to your PC (or phone). Make sure the device or dongle is connected to the USB-C port on your PC (or phone) that supports the correct Alternate Mode. For example, if you’re connecting a DisplayPort Alternate Mode adapter, make sure it’s connected to the USB-C port on your PC (or phone) that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Can you check into how to correct this error for me?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did not improve on my HPZR2440W Bought it to improve on my 24" HP, but even though specs lot's better, image not as good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inadequate as a laptop display This USB C monitor has all the ports I needed, and looks understated and sleek. Then, I noticed that it wasn't charging my laptop. The maximum power it can deliver from its bottom USB C port is 15 Watts. (you have to download the datasheet to find this out) This is not sufficient to be a one-cable solution for a laptop. Minor disappointment in that it doesn't ship with a USB C to C cable. Additional disappointment that USB-C video is off by default (requires enabling a Performance power mode). Yet further disappointment that it nags you to utilize an HP-certified USB C cable when you plug in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP Z27N G2 Bought this 4 days ago after returning a BenQ GW2765HE which had 2 stuck pixels and terrible backlight bleed (I'd bought the BenQ as the cheapest 27" 2560x1440 IPS panel I could find with okay reviews). I also found on the BenQ I had to crank up the brightness to get a picture that I found acceptable. This monitor cost about £100 more (got it for £313.99+VAT delivered) but boy was it worth it! The monitor looks great, with slim bezels, the software (HP Display Assistant) allows making changes without having to always go into OSD menu and most importantly the picture is amazing. I have a vendor hardware colour calibrated monitor which has in my opinion very little IPS backlight bleed and an amazing sharp display running at 125% scaling in Windows 10. I'm currently running it at 40% brightness and find this still gives me a crisp white compared to my 10 year old Samsung TN panel. No dead / stuck pixels out of the box and reassured by the great pixel policy on this monitor should I have any problems in the future. Before I bought I couldn't find any reviews on line, only of the previous Z27N (no G2) which got good reviews so I took a punt on the updated model and have no regrets in doing so, great monitor at a really reasonable price for the spec (only £100 more than budget equivalent with same resolution / panel type). My advice if your considering would be to go for it, you can't really loose out as if you don't like the panel you can return it for a refund within 14 days as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Business Monitor Bought this monitor to replace a 19" box monitor which was inefficient for work-from-home. It functions fine which is in addition to an HP 24 inch business monitor I already had for my HP workstation. The monitor itself was fine, I was disappointed in the lack of documentation, all I was provided was set-up instructions taped to the monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Display is good. But don’t order here The displays work great. No complains, but took a long time to arrive. There went any in inventory so had to wait weeks for them to be made and delivered. They arrived sooner then expected but still much slower than ordering anywhere else that had inventory. It has a good range of ports, between display port, HDMI and a bunch of USB ports both A and C. Also like that it has the VESA mounting screws under the stand attachment. So if you use the stand they’re covered but are easy to access to use

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good monitor; cannot power a laptop via USB-C though I purchased this monitor specifically so that I could power my MacBook Pro via USB-C. But unfortunately the USB-C only powers to 15W, so it won't power even a MacBook Air. It gets 3 stars, though, because it's a nice monitor with very small bevel and highly adjustable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made crystal clear monitor amazing for reading text on screen I did a lot of research and I was very glad I selected this monitor. The build quality of this monitor amazed me in a good way. Solidly built monitor and stand. Very adjustable screen can be viewed in Landscape or Portrait Mode Well organized menu. Supports DVI!! Worth every penny spent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null Very good monitor and putting it together is easy and quick. I thought long and hard about this one and am very satisfied with the performance and quality. One caveat. The setup card that comes with the monitor says PnP will install the driver. So far that has not happened on Windows 2004, and the drivers are not locatable on HP Support. Maybe soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Massive screen, tricky set up I purchased this screen recently and I am still waiting on the accompanying CPU. A few things I noted when I received this screen are the massive size (which I need, I am going to be using this for fairly intricate design work, so a larger screen is preferred to prevent eye strain). I haven't gotten to hook this up to a computer yet because I am still waiting on a Z4 unit to arrive, but I can say that it shipped quickly. I did note that attaching the monitor to the base was a bit tricky (even though the illustrations on the instructions make it seem fairly straightforward). I also noted that there is no webcam included in this model (which is a detail I overlooked so I take responsibility for the oversight) still, for the cost, it would have been nice to have a built-in feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the adjustable base I love the adjustable base, makes it so much easier when staff changes and we don't need to adjust the height of the monitors. The clarity and resolution is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good monitor for the price Pros: Reasonable cost, good quality image, USB-C input, height/tilt/swivel/twist adjustable and VESA moutable. Solid build quality. 1440p is ideal resolution at 27". Cons: Factory settings are terrible meaning you have to adjust each monitor before use. USB-C doesn't do PD so you can't power a device from the display. No USB-C cable in the box. Pray you don't need support since getting a HP tech on the phone is impossible.
