Accommodate workplaces with the HP EliteDisplay E243 23.8-inch Monitor, which displays more than 16 million colors. Featuring a three-sided micro-edge bezel, the monitor is suitable for multidisplay configurations. Connector options, including DisplayPort, VGA and HDMI®, allow users to connect other devices to the HP EliteDisplay E243 23.8-inch LED monitor in full HD 1080p.

Three USB ports allow simple connection between devices, including two downstream and one upstream option. White LED (WLED) backlights with a life cycle of 30,000 hours provide atmosphere and ambiance, transcending colors beyond the screen visually. Anti-glare coating on the monitor screen makes it easy to work while the sun is shining through the window.

With the ENERGY STAR® certification, the HP EliteDisplay E243 23.8-inch monitor helps businesses save on electricity costs. The detachable monitor stand ensures that the monitor is at an eye-level, and it's possible to adjust the monitor height by 5.9 inches. Cable management is another benefit of this stand, so that workers can route cables, saving space and clutter in the office.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THE Quintessential Business Monitor I believe this product to be one of the most ideal general-purpose business monitors in 2019 as it provides a great balance of size, ergonomics thru the sturdy adjustable monitor stand, features, display quality, flexibility (adjustable stand or use VESA mount, provides every cable that you would need for both display and USB hub, can bottom-mount good quality speaker bar), good looks, and reliability. As a bonus, it's very quick and easy to setup because the entire stand is completely assembled, so the only thing you have to do is unbox, latch the monitor to the stand (very easy; no tools required -- quick-connect with positive "click" sound), and connect the USB Type-A to Type-B cable to your computer or docking station and whichever display cable from monitor to system, be it VGA, HDMI, or DisplayPort. IPS panel has good color calibrations out-of-the-box; color is rich without being "cartoonish", contrast is good (definitely not like a VA panel but far better than TN), and edge light bleed or ghosting is not an issue. Full HD (1080P) is fine at this monitor size. If you are still on a 19-21" monitor or monitors at your desk, the extra screen real-estate alone will be an appreciated upgrade, as additional diagonal inches results in screen area increasing by the twice the increase in those inches. For example, a 23.8" monitor like this has about 35% more screen area than a 20.5" monitor! Conclusion: overall a great value for general-purpose business use

Overall, I'm very happy with the new HP EliteDisplay E243. Easy to set up with lots of options to connect to it and cables as part of the unit. Great clear picture with height adjustment, title and swivel adjustments as well. My only issue is turning the screen from landscape mode to portrait mode. I've up loaded the software to enable portrait mode and followed directions ( not very clear) and still no luck in making this options function. More a nice to have since landscape is the main way I use the monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent monitor. This is an excellent monitor for the price. It is the right size for good resolution at 1080. The functionality of the stand (adjustments) is great. The only negative is they should have provided some cable management holder on the rear of the stand. Also I wish they would have provided more USB outputs. You go from 1 input to 2 outputs (not much of a gain).

This monitor is packed with features, and the value is incredible for this price point. I love having several video input options, the anti-glare screen, the USB ports, the almost none existent bezel, and the ability to tilt/twist/lower/raise the monitor. For me this is the only monitor I will buy for the users in our office.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Monitors Last year I had bought an Omen 32 inch QHD monitor, this year I was looking for two things: monitors that support DisplayPort (I have a GTX 1080 with 3 DisplayPorts ports) and monitors with an inbuilt vesa mount to rotate (awesome for spreadsheets and webpages). I really didn't need a UHD screen for anything I've done - so these monitors meet all expectations. This is not indicative of the product, but it took almost 2 weeks just to ship this product - how spoiled I am from amazon where it's near instant shipping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent crisp display complete with thin bezel There's a lot to like about this monitor. It's very nicely featured for the segment of the market HP is targeting. The standout feature for me, outside of the display, is the very thin bezels. I've included a photo that shows just how thin they are. The display is by no means top of the line, but it has great spec and incredible clarity, for this level of monitor. It's perfect for everyday use and more than enough for most office or home based desktop users. It can even be used for light gaming in a pinch. Speaking of light, this is a very light monitor, even with the based attached. All in all, for me, I consider this to be a nearly perfect work based monitor and how I'll primarily use it. I have to often used multiple monitors for many of my daily work projects. This is going to be perfect next to my dual set-up I currently use. In sum, I feel this is a really nice monitor, especially for the segment HP is going after. Recommended 4 stars Cheers!

The stand is sturdy, allows for adjusting in all directions. Good sized monitor for general computing, I don't play many games so I cannot speak upon gaming aspects, however it has been perfect for all my needs. Overall solid display, wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

I love how much space I'm saving with this one and how clean and modern it looks! I have to use multiple screens for different programs and spreadsheets. There is a huge difference in the old one VS this new one. Setup was super easy and the picture quality is outstanding! Lots of different different ports and the sound quality is great too! I'm extremely happy with this monitor, highly recommended it and will be ordering another one!

I am also using it for my couponing class to have the students watch what I’m doing on my computer. It is way easier than having them watch over my shoulder or on their own devices. I love that it comes with every cable you might need.

Nice beveled edges and clean lines. You can tilt, swivel and rotate for ultimate ergonomic sitting. This monitor is very good to look at but I work on it for 8-12 hours per day and it is wonderful to look at and read from. The visual is very crisp with anti glare and adjustments for everything from color to contrast. I highly recommend this monitor and am currently waiting for my second one to arrive since I like the first one so much, I ordered another!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice monitor bad instructions to assemble I love the monitors. I ran into an issue assembling. The monitor stand came in two pieces. Adding the foot to the stand was difficult. It snapped in easily but it was at an awkward angle and would not swivel on it’s side, and I didn’t realize until I stood it up that it swivels after you assemble and stand up, so I recommend snapping together then stand it up and swivel the monitor. This step was not mentioned in the picture only instructions. All YouTube unboxing videos showed that their stand was already pre-assembled and only needed to be snapped to the monitor screen. Overall after I got through all of that I really like the monitors they are very sleek clear and work well. I do keep them at the top of the height adjustment and I purchased a dual monitor stand from Amazon for increased height.

Its bright and clear and I can see everything without an issue. It was easy to put together. Basically three things click together, plug it in and you are all set! I love the fact that it came with all the different cables you could need! I also love that there are extra USB ports in the back for your plug and play items! I definitly recommend it for anyone who needs a great monitor that is easy to use and affordable!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null This is a large, bright display with all the needed inputs plus USB 3 connectivity. This was designed very well, all the way down to the packaging. The packaging has everything compartmentalized and shows how to install the stand with the monitor still in the package, making it easier and safer to get started. The are HDMI, DisplayPort, and VGA video connections available and this monitor supports 2 USB 3.0 devices. There is a blue light filter setting available as well, and many other presets for different use cases. The stand is very adjustable, and you can even set the monitor to a verticle orientation is you want. A fantastic monitor with great features.

The resolution is fantastic, super clear and crisp. The bezel is very thin, it's functional but also stylish and modern. Whether you're working or gaming, the monitor makes it easy to see whatever you're looking at. It's like a small TV. Perfect for people like me who need larger screens to better visualize their projects. Great quality and a consistent product from HP.

The stand is sturdy and doesn't require any tools. It's perfectly sized and has tons of great features. I needed a second screen for work purposes and I am so glad that this is the one I ended up getting. It's thoughtfully designed, very well made. Great picture quality and ease of use. The horizontal picture is hard to configure at times and the power cord to the back of the monitor kept falling out of one of the monitors (I think the cord was faulty - got replaced). Otherwise, great value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Over all good but could use some improvement. Bought this because now that I had access to teleworking from home, I needed a second screen. HP has always been innovative with monitors that were adjustable in height and able to convert from landscape to portrait. Therefore, the reason for this specific product. We received it in the mail about ten days after purchase although their website states a ship out of 3-6 days after purchase but it wasn't too bad. Assembling it was pretty straightforward. It is a good monitor otherwise for its visuals. My complaint would be that the monitor overall is so light then when you adjust its height up and down or convert it to a portrait mode, you literally need to hold the base of the monitor. The base is not as sturdy as I would've hoped for. Making it heavier would've have done its job! We have another HP monitor with the same features but is an older model and its base is strong. These newer models, although more modern lacks in sturdiness. I would return but the headache of disassembling, repacking, and shipping is just not something I want to take on right now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good so far I purchased this after after my old monitor died. Shipping took about 10 days after order was replaced, however, that just meant I got it on my birthday. It's three days later and I've just been able to put everything together. If you're someone who needs written instructions, then you will struggle a bit because the instructions are pictures only. Also, I'm not sure if this monitor has sound or not?? I still have my speakers from my other computer, but would like to have this verified. Also, my mouse works, but my HP keyboard does no(keyboard error during start up). Thank you.

So I bought the docking monitor for home and it works perfectly, plugged it in and everything works just like the standalone dock.

It wasn't easy because it was my first time to see that type monitor an it had very poor instructions for hookup. I had to search the internet for instructions. Wish instructions that come with the unit were more complete. Same goes for PC's!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Monitor Ever! My old monitor died. My husband gave me a monitor he had as an extra and I hated it. He then ordered me a new one and I didn't like it either. I'm not that fussy. I want crisp, no odd colorations or out of focus areas especially as you get to the edges, easy on the eyes, easy to read, a fairly small base and I didn't even care about the price. But the price of this monitor, for what you get is a bargain. This monitor checked all the boxes! I highly recommend it for anyone who uses it in normal day to day usage. I have no opinion as to whether or not this is good for gaming.

Working off the laptop for short periods is OK, but for extensive fine detail work, such as spreadsheet analytics is a strain on the eyes. My family is using our desktop so the only option was to buy a 2nd widescreen monitor. I love this HP 23.8" monitor because it has many ergonomic features, such as tilt and height adjustments. It has preset background lighting settings from low blue light, night, reading, photo, etc. making it easy to select a comfortable setting without messing around with individual brightness, contrast, etc controls. The frame is stylish and I like that it is thin so that the visual field is wide 16:9 format filling up basically the entire width and height of the monitor. I currently have the monitor set up to work in dual display mode with my laptop. This setup works well for multi-tasking. I am very happy with this purchase.

Love the fact that I can adjust not only the tilt like many other screens for the price range, but also adjust orientation(swivel), height and also rotate the stand on the base. Only minor complaint would be that maybe they should have firmed up the attachment between the screen and the arm a little more. Jolts/jerks to the table on which it is placed, ends up shaking the screen!

Fast forward 2 weeks and after purchasing another brands monitors that were DOA, I have got my hands on a set of these. All I can say is, they're worth it. I just picked them up this morning, but they're night and day better than the other set. Don't hesitate, I doubt you'll be dissatisfied.

Great packing to keep them new and pristine, super-easy to set up and get configured. The native HP video drivers in my 840G5 Elitebook knew exactlky what to do, and it looks great.

Easy set up though I thought the minimalist picture directions enclosed were not very helpful but the etched labels on the mounting device were invaluable. I did not realize that default setting was to chime every time a message reached my computer and adjusting some of the input/output settings were not intuitive. A basic, good monitor for at home work.

Not the most current model and it appears to be that I got one of the last ones, as it's not easily found for sale on HP's website. I had to wait a couple of weeks for the monitor to be shipped. Love the pivot feature on a manufacturer's stand, and much easier to find that feature on a monitor on HP's website than on other manufacturer's websites. Great price, too.

The multiple inputs allow easy multi-device connections for me to switch between tow (or even 3) laptops/PC. Image quality is amazing and what is even more impressive is the near border-less design. The picture is crystal clear and is perfect for my gaming stream. It is sturdy and well crafted. It is also easy to adjust the height of it. It can convert to landscape as well. The frame of the screen is a nice touch and very stylish, it is ultra modern looking, I highly recommend it.

So I purchased this monitor to test it out on my gaming console, and let me tell you... it’s was amazing!! It made my game play so much better and easier to maneuver. The graphics looked crisp, the game play itself looked so much more reactive. If you’re looking for a good PC monitor, this one is the one for you no question! It’s sleek design will sell you alone. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to invest in a good PC monitor.

I have to use multiple screens for different programs and spreadsheets. Setup was super easy and the picture quality is outstanding it's so easy on the eyes especially for long hours. ! The screen and stand are easy to assemble. It comes with every cord needed to connect to your laptop/computer super-easy to set up and get configured. It is sleek and nice in design and nice looking on my desk. I like that it is fully adjustable and I can make it higher or lower, or angle the screen however I need. The resolution is fantastic, super clear and crisp. I love the light display options (especially low blue light and reading)

The screen itself is a perfect size, and the monitor just looks clean and sleek - i'm a big fan of the silver finish, I feel like so many electronics only come in black these days. The stand allows the monitor to be positioned and moved easily, which is a plus! It has a cool rotating screen feature, which I've only tried to use once, but the stand allowing so much movement really helps! The picture is also very clear. I look at a screen most of the day, I really think a clear, vibrant screen helps! The price point on this monitor is also a plus.

I am able to hook it to my laptop and use this large display and the display is clear and crisp. I had no problem installing it. It was pretty much just plug and play and my HP laptop connected right up with the hdmi port. I found the graphics to be clear and easy to read And it’s easy on the eyes after several hours of reading documents and it has worked out great. The only con I can find with it is it does take up a lot of space because it is nice and wide

The range of input options makes them connectable to any computer with VGA, HDMI, or DisplayPort. The adjustable stand is nice and stable. These features make the displays a bit more expensive than cheap consumer monitors, but they make all the difference in versatility and usability that we require for efficient business.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful display! I bought this monitor because I will be doing remote learning this semester for college and my tiny 13" laptop screen was not cutting it. I was really nervous that it wouldn't be compatible with the retina display on the 2019 MacBook Air, but the colors look fantastic and the pixelation is very minimal on the display. It comes with and HDMI and vga cord so you can choose how you want to input your laptop, but I recommend using the HDMI, as the picture quality is greater. The monitor itself is sleek looking and it matches perfectly with my silver laptop. I think the price point is fantastic for what you get.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Monitor The HP EliteDisplay E243 23.8 inch monitor has been an eye saver for me. I use my computer for a wide variety of tasks that include work, gaming and crafting. I have never realized just how much detail I was missing by staring at a smaller screen. This monitor has helped me to not sit so close to my screen while hunched over trying to see smaller text and photos. The screen picture is great, and I can easily read text of all sizes without squinting for a better look. It is extremely easy to set up and offers a variety of ways to connect with the included DisplayPort™ 1.2 cable, HDMI cable and VGA cable. The display tilt and swivel range allow for a multitude of combinations to makes working on this monitor easier. There are six viewing modes that include: Low Blue Light, Night, Reading, HP Enhance+, Multimedia, and Photo; as well as a custom mode which are all great to help you from eye strain. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this monitor.

At my current job, I have to have at least 3 monitors so that I can have access to all sort of things. I love the fact that I can actually take one monitor and do the work in just two monitors, because of the size of this monitor and the quality is like having two screens together. From LED backlight, to allowing you to connect to physically anything that has an HDMI this monitor deserves two thumbs up. Highly recommend. The pricing is actually very good vs. other brands. Think about this monitor as your usual monitor, but double the size and super charged with one of the most finest displays I've seen in monitors.

My only complaint was the instructional pamphlet that came with the monitor was singularly unhelpful in describing the various buttons on the bottom side of the monitor. I tried googling something more substantial but have yet to find anything helpful.

The HP EliteDisplay E243 23.8-inch Monitor was easy to put together and snapped in place with no tools required, also provides every cable that you would need for both display and USB hub and even extra ones. The base is durable enough and holds the monitor just right. It has great ergonomic features such as light weight, tilt and height adjustment, swivels from left to right easily. The frame is very stylish and I like that it is made thin so the visual field is a wide format which fills up the entire screen. Very easy to select a comfortable setting, large screen with a clear view. The HP EliteDisplay monitor is very sleek and modern looking and takes up less desk space. My overall thoughts it functions and performs well, designed stylish, has great features, is made with good quality and durability that will last a long time!

I really like how it is the same size as my existing monitor but the actual screen size (image) is so much bigger. I currently utilize 2 monitors for work at home and I replaced one with this HP EliteDisplay 24’ E243 and I find that I prefer to use this monitor over my other monitor especially when sharing screens as I feel that the screen resolution is far superior. Easy set up and includes everything you need, it took no more than 10-15 minutes and that is including removal of the old monitor as well. One of the great features this monitor offers is the ability to tilt and rotate the monitor so if you have limited space you can still fit two monitors in a smaller area. This is such an amazing monitor I am already planning to purchase a second one, it cannot arrive soon enough. Definitely a great price for the quality of the monitor.

My issue was finding a monitor that is compatible with MacBook Pro (16" Catalina OS), as I found out the hard way that many monitors keep blinking due to incompatibility. This ViewSonic has been good from the start. It is ergonomic, which I require. It has weak speakers, so I have to either use headphones or unplug form the monitor when I need to hear important things. But that is irrelevant to my bigger need for ergonomics. For this price-point, you trade off a little. The color quality, easy pairing with the laptop, and all other features are good. I wish this were a smaller 19" to fit better with my home office limited space, but that's just not how things are made these days. It's better for my eyesight this way anyway.

I order 30 monitors every couple weeks replacing older stuff. We have been purchasing the E24x family of monitors as a replacement to the Dell line we once purchased. About every 6 months we pull in other brands for testing and comparison and we continue to purchase the EliteDisplay E243, they have been very reliable, good features and look good on the desk. We use a lot of dual arms so weight is also a factor. Packaging is also good,, Overall very happy with this product.

The users appreciate the size and the ability to change the position. We have used many of these monitors for dual monitors. My only complaint is trying to plug these in as duals into a docking station or a PC because the monitors flip when using a display port cable.

Fast and protected delivery service and each monitor is super protected with foam, great boxes that i will reuse as shipping boxes in the future. I don’t have much space, so I loved that this monitor has portrait mode. It helps make my dual monitor setup feel less cluttered. The only complaint I have is this monitors responsiveness when I turn on my pc. This could have nothing to do with the monitor, of course, and everything to do with the way I set them up. Otherwise it’s a great choice.

I am a huge fan of the wide base stand on these large monitors. They were shipped with enough cords to accommodate almost any computer setup. Integrating the dual monitors with the computer was seamless.
