Great all in one printer!
Excellent printer, replacing another HP that finally bit the dust after almost 10 years. This is a very fast printer, with multiple options for quality, paper type and formats. The setup was vastly improved and easy to do, and the networking for Airprint was automatic. The ink cartridge setup is a bit weird but after watching the tutorial on it, easy to get seated. The scanning is great, and the utilitiy software is intuitive and effective. Pictures come out great on photo paper, and you cannot beat the speed to print.

Wow! I am so impressed with the HP OfficeJet Pro 8135!. The printer came well packed and ready to go. Once packing materials were removed, I plugged in the printer. At prompt, the ink cartridges (supplied) were installed. While the printer was preparing ink, I downloaded the HP app. Paper installed in paper tray, and WiFi easily connected. WiFi connection stays connected which is a relief as I am not too tech davy. I have used the printer many times, for a variety of projects including copying, faxing, printing photos and documents, and I am very pleased with the speed and quality of print. Colors are clear and bright, and ink dries quickly. HP delivers with the Pro OfficeJet 8135!

I like this HP Office Jet Pro printer, it is really a pro as it prints like a pro! The print quality is great! I love the additional features that will allow me to scan and fax from my printer right at home. The scan tray can take several papers at a time, and I like the tedious process of using a scan app on my phone, where I have to scan one page at a time. I haven’t used the fax feature yet, but I am certain it will come in handy when the need for faxing arises, and in the same way as the scan, I can upload multiple papers at a time for faxing and not one at a time. The printer is very compact, yet it has features that we had with our big printers at work. The setup part would have been awesome if not for the page alignment part that took forever. I had to turn off the printer after almost an hour of waiting before I was able to finish the setup. So if you run into any challenges similar to mine, I recommend simply turning it off and back on.

Such an upgrade
I have had the printer now 3 weeks and am very impressed with its performance. Set up was simple and easy. The connectivity with the computers assigned to it have had no issues printing. We have only had to print a few documents but have to say that the quality is spectacular. My former printer would take at least 30 seconds to wirelessly receive the document before printing. This HP receives docs so fast and prints even faster

Hardworking Printer
I was looking to replace a very old HP printer. The setup is easy. I’ve been using the HP OfficeJet Pro 8135 Printer, and overall it has been a solid printer for my home office. The wireless connection has been reliable so far, which makes it easy to print from my phone or computer. This is very important to me because several household members use the printer.
The print quality is good and the colors are true. I also like that it includes automatic two-sided printing. This cuts down on my paper use and saves me money.
The paper tray is large, so I do not have to refill paper constantly, and the print speed is fast enough.
I do wish the printer was a bit smaller, but for the features it includes, the size is understandable.
Overall, I would recommend the HP OfficeJet Pro 8135 Printer. It will definitely be great for anyone who needs a dependable all-in-one printer with wireless convenience, and useful office features.

Love for Music
This 8135 Smart printer is just what the doctor ordered. I needed something that could Print, Copy and scan sheet music as well as collaborations with others even when I was away from home. I can send downloads to the printer remotely from my cell phone if needed. The set up was very easy and connection to my home Wi Fi and to my cell phone was a breeze. It fits in great on my computer desk and is a great compliment to my music creations as well as all necessary home and office document needs. I highly recommend this printer. HP has produced a winner once again.

I’ve been using this printer for a while now, and I have to say I’m really impressed with it. It’s very functional and incredibly easy to use. It connected seamlessly to my computer as well as all of my other devices. One of my favorite features is how easily it connected to my iPhone. I’ve had trouble connecting other printers to my phone in the past, but this one paired quickly and securely without requiring me to download any additional software. The app is also very user-friendly and makes it easy to print documents, photos, images, and even my school projects. Another thing I really like is how economical it is with ink, and replacing the ink cartridges is simple and hassle-free. The paper tray is conveniently located at the bottom, making it easy to load paper whenever needed. Finally, I love that it can both print and scan, which makes it even more useful for everyday tasks. Overall, this printer has exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend it.

So I got My All in One HP8135 I’m pretty excited that I was able to get this for this price and discount we really needed one at the house. This was the perfect printer. Setup was quick, and connecting to Wi-Fi was simple. I love that It prints sharp black text and vibrant color documents with impressive speed. This printer great. It prints scans and copies and faxes. You can use this machine for any and everything that you need. The touchscreen is easy to navigate, and the HP Smart app makes printing from my phone convenient. Purchased this HP Office Jet pro 8135 All in One printer scanner and it has upheld all my expectations and has proven to be effective for my everyday home tasks.
It was easy to connect and setup the printer and took about 15 min from unboxing to getting it ready for printing and scanning. Prints a decent amount of page per minutr and would say it has practical speed for personal use. Print comes out sharp and crisp, scanned copy or documents are clear and no blurr at all.
The only con i felt observed it the lid design. The flatbed or lid does not hold itself when changing the cartridge so becomes a little awkward to hold the flatbed and insert the cartridge.
But overall a fantastic printer scanner which is worth your money..

Easy to Set Up
I had an easy time setting up the HP All in One OfficeJet Pro Printer. I have never had an Office jet before, and was pleasantly surprised to see how easy it was to set up. It is bigger than my previous models because it holds a considerable amount of paper, ensuring a seamless printing experience. The ink is something new as well. Instead of a combo ink cartridge, there are 4 different ones, so I only need to replace the ink color that runs out rather than an entire cartridge. The printing quality is clean and smudge-free! Every line is easy to read.

I received the HP8135 today! Unboxing was a breeze. The printer is lightweight and easily removed from packing. The box also contained cord and ink cartridges along with setup instructions. After powering on, you simply insert paper and ink cartridges. Next the alignment was performed and that's it! Automatically connected to Wifi. The HP app was installed and I am now printing from both my desktop snd mobile devices! HOP truly makes printer install stress free! Over the next few days I eill put the printer to the test and report back

Amazing print quality
The setup was really easy. There is a QR code on the printer box that you can scan and also a website that you can go to in order to follow along for the directions. Once you put in your language and country that you're in, everything is smooth sailing. I downloaded the HP app and from there it completed the software updates remotely.
Removing the orange lids off the ink cartridges took a bit of elbow grease to push them off and some of the orange clips on the ink cartridges came off more easier than others.
On your printer there's a button called supplies and once you press that it shows you how much ink remains in your cartridges.
I love the print quality and now my daughter no longer has to go to the school to print her projects off and now she can use the home printer!

A Compact, Capable Printer That Shines After Setup
Setup took longer than I expected. The printer doesn’t include a USB cable for a hardwired first-time connection, so you’re pushed into using the HP app right away. On my PC, the app was slow and struggled to complete the setup, and I eventually had to switch to my phone to finish the process. Not difficult, just more time-consuming than other printers I’ve installed.
The printer itself is lightweight. When removing the packing tape, the scanner lid actually popped off its hinge. It snapped back into place quickly, but it was surprising. Once everything was assembled and configured, though, the printer behaved normally.
Printing performance is where this model shines. It prints quickly, the ink quality is crisp and vibrant, and everyday jobs run smoothly. The HP app becomes genuinely helpful once setup is complete, making printing from different devices easy.
The ADF works without any issues. It’s a medium-to-small sized printer, so I wasn’t expecting enterprise-level capacity, but it handles multi-page scans and copies reliably for home-office workloads.
Overall, I’m giving it a 4 out of 5. The setup process could be smoother, but once it’s up and running, the printer delivers exactly what it promises: fast, clean prints, reliable feeding, and a convenient app experience.

HP is no longer my choice for a printer
It was impossible to set up my new HP printers by wifi or by USB cable. I wasted 6 days with two printers, a chatbot agent, downloaded driver and a one hour call with a live agent. I was unsuccessful. HP has made a straight forward routine connection into an impossible task.

I like the simplicity of the screen, and the ease of loading paper. I did have one paper jam, and was able to easily clear it by opening the top, and removing the crumpled paper.

My Honest Take
Never thought I’d be writing a printer review, but here we are. Between my dad’s care situation, my mom’s move, and all the legal and financial paperwork that comes with both, I’m printing and scanning constantly these days. Way more than I ever did just for work.
Good news is this thing’s held up. The auto document feeder is honestly the best part, I can stack a bunch of pages and let it go instead of babysitting the scanner one sheet at a time. Print and scan quality are both sharp, the setup wasn’t a hassle, and the touchscreen is simple enough that I’m not fumbling with it.
My only real complaints: the Wi-Fi has dropped a couple times mid-scan, which is annoying when I’m trying to get documents together before an appointment. Also it really wants you to use the HP Smart app for everything. If you’re used to just printing straight from your laptop, there’s a little extra friction there. It does fax too, not that I’ve needed it, but it’s there.
Overall it’s not flashy but it’s been reliable right when I needed something to just work. Would recommend it.

A Great printer for My business
having a printer I can rely on every day is important for me. I decided to try the HP OfficeJet Pro 8139, and it has been a good experience from the start. The setup was quick, and easy!! printing take less then before with my old printer. The HP Smart App made the process simple and easy to install and use everything in one hub.
I use this printer regularly for invoices, customer paperwork, shipping documents, and scanning customers paperwork. The print quality is really good and the printer keeps up with my demands. Good printer but after the first update I couldn’t print
After I did the first update of my new printer it wouldn’t print. It printed fine out of the box but once the update took place it didn’t. I spent about 2 hours trying to fix it. Ultimately I had to set it back to factory settings (found that on the internet) and now it’s working again but I have shut off all future updates. Unfortunately I threw out the box once I originally set it up and tested it. I would have returned it if I still had the box.

HP Office Jet Pro 8139 excelent printer! Set up was a doddle including Wi-Fi connection with my desktop, print alignment and paper / cartridge installation. Retiring the old printer and replacing it with the new one on the HP Smart app was seamless. Print quality both colour and black is excellent although, the quality of the printing is perfect. All in all I would recommend this product!

Installation with all HP Printers seem to be a lot more involved and complicated than in the past.
Printer ia an OfficeJet 8139. Like the quality of the printing. Hate the constant push to force people to buy expensive HP cartridges that do not have the same amount of ink that they used to. There are no cartridges available for this model with more ink. Consumers end up paying more for less. My guess is people are buying fewer HP printers than in the past. I'd attribute is to the cartridge game that's being played along with the installation process. Also, there aren't enough options available to connect it as a fax machine.

I have always been an HP user this would be the second one I have owned and this sure was an upgrade. I love that it came with 12m of free ink subscription and the QR code helped me set this up with my phone with ease. This prints very fast and is so easy to set up. I love how crisp the images look and just how easy it is to print with any device because of the Bluetooth compatibility. I love that this does everything I need it to do from fax, scan, print and even copy. This ink lasts a long time and it fits the perfect amount of paper. This is super loud and it is also very light weight. I am very happy with this printer.

Didn’t get any instant ink! Cartridges provded barely lasted two weeks of home use with some phots also. Construction seems cheap. Had to spend more than the cost of the printer for a new supply of ink.

This HP printer does it all!
I really like this all in one printer by HP, it was easy to set up came with the ink cartridges and a year free subscription to get ink cartridges sent to my home. It prints,copies,scans,faxes, my projects come out looking very vivid and professional and its fast to no delay here. The setup was pretty straight forward nothing to complicated.

Fair replacement for 8160
I replaced an officejet pro 8160 that I’ve used for years with this printer. It is an OK printer but I wouldn’t rate it as great. Set up was relatively straightforward but scan to computer has been difficult and the touch pad is not great. I have to tap it several times to get it to work most of the time. I ran out of black ink super quick & the ink is pretty expensive. I did not enroll in the 12 month trial ink account because it wasn’t clearly defined and I was skeptical. Pulling the paper tray out and back in is not smooth at all and the paper doesn’t have a placement guard on the bottom side of the paper to hold in in place.
Over all it’s an OK printer but I do have regrets for not doing a little more research before purchasing a replacement printer.

The HP Officejet Pro 8139 All-in-One Printer is very easy to set up and works great. Set up is easy using your phone. You scan a QR code and start in your browser, setting everything up. Then you switch to the HP app to complete the setup. The print quality is great. It is neat and clean. I really like that they went to single ink cartridges for each color instead of the Tri-color cartridge and black cartridge. And the printing speed is excellent.

The addition of Instant Ink has transformed what was reliable printing to a nightmare.
During the software installation of my HP printer, I opted out of Instant Ink and the software halted the installation. I had to go back and accept Instant Ink for the printer to be usable. After installation, loading the printer drivers and connecting has been the slowest I have seen since the 1980’s. And on top of that, while the PC software tries to connect to the printer, my very fast PC is slowed down. It’s hit or miss whether my new HP printer will print or just create another print job error and not print anything.

I never had an HP printer before this. As soon as it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised as to how light weight the product was. It was very easy getting it out of its box, with its included handles on the plastic wrap/baggy it was in which i very much appreciated! The setup and ink installation was a breeze. Only took less than 10 minutes to do everything. Scanned the QR code for the step by step guide, which was simple to follow. Got my HP app installed and ready to use. I love that i don't need a USB/Ethernet to use this printer, as im mostly going to stick with my phone app to access the printer, and I probably don't have open plug space on my computer any way. All in all, im a very happy HP printer gal!

I love that I can have ink delivered to my door based on how much printing I do. The price seems reasonable for this service and it’s great that you always will have ink on hand. HP makes such a quality machine. I’m thrilled with this model!

Great home office printer
I've been using the HP OfficeJet Pro 8139 for two weeks now, and it has exceeded my expectations. Setup was quick and easy, and connecting it to WiFi through the HP Smart App was simple. The printer produces sharp text and vibrant color documents, making it great for both everyday printing and professional work.
The auto document feeder and duplex printing heaters save time and make handling multi page documents more efficient. Wireless printing from my phone and laptop are reliable and gives the ability to scan directly from HP Smart app.
Overall, this is a dependable all in one printer that offers excellent print quality, useful productivity features, and reliable wireless connection.

Quirky but a quality printer
This printer takes some getting used to. It has some quirks. Every time you put paper on the tray screen pops up saying you've changed the paper size evennwhen you're putting more of the same paper in the tray. The touch screen is very precise as well. If you don't touch the icon in the middle it doesn't register your touch. Also, the paper tray size adjuster doesn't seem to want to slide to the letter size space. It's stuck at legal size. Other than that it's great. It was easy to set up. Works pretty fast once you get passed the above issues. Avyear of free ink was a nice bonus too

Great for school and work
I was looking for a printer that could handle everything I need for school and my small business, and this one has been a great upgrade from my last. My previous HP printer was smaller, and I often need to scan a large amount of paperwork at once, so I really like having the automatic document feeder on this one. I also print photos and stickers here and there, and the color and print quality is a lot better than what I was getting with my old printer.
I print quite a bit between school and work, so the bigger paper tray is another thing I really like since I'm not constantly having to refill it. I also use my printer for business paperwork, receipts, forms, and other random documents, so being able to print, scan, copy, and fax from one machine is convenient and saves space in my office. The touchscreen is simple to use and I like being able to print wirelessly from my phone. It's been a great printer overall for the price.

Perfect for a family
I bought my last hp printer in 2014 which was 12 years ago. When it started to have problems I didn’t want anything else but an HP. I have 2 boys who are in high school and I needed a replacement asap since they were starting school soon. I needed an all in one printer and after researching I chose this one. It was easy to set up out of the box and connect it to my hp app. My old printer didn’t have the different color cartridges so when one color went out I had to buy a whole new color cartridges. This one has separate colors which would save me some money. It came with a trial for the hp instant ink and it monitors your ink levels online and will send you a new one when it shows a low level. For me not to worry about running out of ink is awesome! I set it up using WiFi which lets me print whenever I need to and it will be waiting for me when I get home. It can copy/scan and O can upload it to my laptop or my phone. The print speed and quality is excellent. I even print out pictures on photo paper with it. This is perfect for my home use and will always choose HP!

I love my Printer
I finally found a printer for my home that I love. This printer does everything I need it to do. The printing is clear and sharp. I enjoy that HP keeps track of my ink and ships when needed. Such a handy feature. I’ve never printed so much. The only thing I had trouble with was connecting to my laptop but that’s probably because I’m not very techy. Other than that setup was simple.

Does everything I need it to quickly and efficiently.
When the printer has been on standby for a day or two, it takes several minutes to "warm up." I have to sit and wait for a while after I've sent a job to print.

A great printer for a home or small business
I had to wait for a while to received my new HP OfficeJet Pro 8139 so I got very excited after FedEx delivered it. The print quality is very good, and so far every page I printed looks vivid and the fonts looks clear and sharp. The initial setup was super quick and easy using the HP app, and since I’m still have my old printer connected to my wifi network, the new printer took only a minute to join my home wi-fi. I already tried scanning and copying several pages and the result are great. The 12 months of ink included is also a plus, making the HP OfficeJet Pro 8139 is an excellent printer and I think is the perfect match for a home office or small business.A++

This printer, and it seems; many or all new HP printers are now using a radically different protocol
My previous HP Inkjet printers and my HP laser printer were just "there" on the Wi-Fi network and anyone on the same Wi-Fi network was able to quickly and easily choose a printer and send a print job to it. This printer is "there" but selecting it as the destination for a print job involves a "wait for a connection to the printer" and a risk that the printer will spit out a blank page along with displaying a "Cancelled" message on the printer itself. Sending the job again has, so far, resulted in it being printed. Further, there is a significant time-delay before printing begins.
A really nice feature is the printer control panel displays the name of the file being printed. I like that.
After getting this printer to work on my desktop (also HP) Windows 11 system, I had to tinker with each of our two HP laptops (also Windows 11) computers to ensure they could easily print to this new inkjet printer.
The first time I tried, HP Smart showed the old printer I had removed as still in my account and I made no progress. The next day, the "ghost" printer was gone and printing just worked!
The next day and the second HP laptop went smoothly. Apart from the rather long delay before printing actually begins, this new printer is doing just fine.
(Watch out because it does seem to prefer "Landscape" printing and you must specify "Portrait" if that is what you want.)

Perfect too for home office
The HP OfficeJet Pro 8139 works great for my home office. I have had this printer for about a month and haven’t had any issues. The print quality and speed are more than sufficient for my needs. I routinely use the build-in scanner to scan to my phone, tablet, and computer. The copier works well and is quick. I find the touch screen controls to be intuitive and easy to navigate, however I do most of my navigation with the phone app. The ability to have an app made setup and modifying settings easy and relatively quick. I did have some initial connectivity issues during the setup process. After that it seems like the printer has been working well.
This printer came with 12 months of HP’s instant ink feature, where ink will automatically be sent directly to my house. I was a little reluctant to try this feature, however with 1 year included, I figured why not. The subscription setup was easy. After the initial trial, I hope to have a better understanding of my usage and I can modify the subscription to meet my usage needs.
Printing has been great, with quick printing, good quality, and no issues so far. I did have a small glitch with the instant ink not registering properly and temporarily blocking access to printing properly. This was fixed once I made sure everything was connected to the internet. One feature I really like is the ability to send a fax from the printer. With most people no longer having a traditional phone line, this is an unexpected by great feature.
Overall, I have found this printer to be dependable, user-friendly printer, and packed with great features. The Instant Ink will be nice, as I won’t have to worry about running out of ink any time soon. This printer offers great value

Scanner won't work on Wi-Fi
I could not get this printer/scanner to work on Wi-Fi for the scan function. I worked on it for hours with no success. I have build my own computers in the past and installed numerous printers, scanners, DVD, routers, etc. so don't know why this was such a problem. I had to go to using USB connection to get scanner to work to my computer.

Software is abysmal
This printer will still not scan from the printer to the computer after many, many reinstalls, restarts etc.
It worked with the original HP Smart software, but the new HP App is full of bugs.

I like but dont love it.
I like the look and the printing results but the different processes seem to take longer than they should. For example turning it on or off seems to take a while. Also when you scan or print, seems to take too long. At least longer than I would expect.

Printer was fairly easy to setup. The print quality is good.
The only real issue is the display screen tactile touch. Very difficult to use as the icons are smalll and you really have to press very hard to engage them.
It would be nice if it was more responsive.

HP was disappointing this time - long time user of an HP (since 2015)
I took the printer back two days after I purchased it. There were problems with the set up - the printer insisted that I was using a specialized paper and I had to manually correct it each time I printed. I thought I over came the issue. Then there were Wi-Fi connectivity issues. Then, the paper problem started up again. I was very dissatisfied. Never had these issues with the 8620 that I owned since 2015, in fact never had very many issues at all.

This printer is so flimsy I am not sure how long it can last.
You quite sending CDs to set up the printer. I wound up about 3 hours with your Tech trying to get it set up so I could scan something. You actually broke my old printer. I had a Office jet Pro 8600. I sent for a black ink refill from HP and when I put it in -- it no longer worked. I called and you sent another black ink carthage but it still would not work. I still have a working Office Jet Pro 8620 that makes this new printer look sick.

Poor product
Went to Costco to buy this, we had to look at 5 different boxes to find one that did not have the a problem with the ethernet port...four had wires showing in the connector that were bent. Brought the one I finally chose home and the ethernet printing does not work on large color documents. WiFi prints fine on same document.

Nothing special. Not well built like earlier HP printers I have had. Using for home use only, so it will have to do. Ink cartridges "empty" early, and not cheap. In a way, it might cost less just to get a new cheap printer like this with beginner cartridges, and after a year, get new printer with beginner cartridges. Disappointed with decline in HP quality

Great When Finally Up and Running but a Nightmare getting There
I like the features, the sheet feeder, the touchscreen, the output tray all features my previous printer didn’t have. The screen text can be hard to read without reading lenses and some of the “buttons” could be bigger. The setup was the worse I have ever used. I setup my sister’s printer and then my own identical one. The installation proceeded to the WiFi connection screen and refused to proceed. I could see the printer as an available network but could go no further. My sister was using her nee HP laptop and I was using my MacBook. I was surprised by feeling of size compared with my old printer but size was a consideration I my purchase of my old printer. I am confident that the Officejet Pro could be an outstanding product if it could be setup in 30 minutes or less. Instead, I spent 9 hours over 3 days. I even clicked on the link on the HP support page and talked with a support tech for over an hour who couldn’t help at all cost of ~$65.

Amazing printer
I couldn’t believe how easy it was to set up this printer. From opening the packaging to my first print job took less than 20 minutes.
Not only was it easy to use but the most amazing part is the print quality. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone looking to update.

It prints ok. I am not very high tech, I had to have my son set it up. The touch screen doesn't always work very fast. It is hard to get to some of the areas on the touch screen. It prints ok.

Great All-in-One Printer
This printer is great. It has all the features that I look for in a printer. I had bought many all in one printers in the past, and none of them come even close to this Printer. It is fast, easy to use and quick to set up. It allows for you to fax, scan, mobile print, and mobile fax, all which you can do remotely. The printing quality is wonderful. The printer has fast printing, and great photo printing. I love this printer and can't wait to see all the great printing I can do with this wonderful product. Thanks HP.

I’ve really been enjoying the HP OfficeJet Pro 8139! I actually printed the same thing from a different computer using another printer, and the colors on the 8139 were noticeably more accurate and vibrant. That was probably my favorite surprise.
It took me a little bit to get the Wi-Fi connected, but I realized I needed to move it closer to my router. Once I did, it has worked fantastic and stayed connected. I also love being able to print from my phone, especially when I’m busy and don’t want to mess with transferring files to my computer.
So far, it’s been a great printer for everyday printing, school/work documents, and especially anything where I want the colors to look good. I’m really happy with it!

Prints clearly and quickly
The HP Office Jet Pro 8135 All-In-One Printer prints clear copies and quickly. I love the document feeder on top for single sided copies. It was easy to set up one plug into the printer and power source and the other cable into your modem. The digital screen is nice and easy to read. I do find with the copy button I sometimes have to tap on it a few times before the copy screen opens up. The 4 individual ink cartridges are easy to install and color coded, so you know exactly which slot to put in.
The one thing I really hate about this machine is how fast we go through the ink. We didn’t have this machine 3 weeks and we ran out of ink the first time. I’m on my second order of ink cartridges (I bought the XL ones to hopefully make it last longer). This ink is not cheap costs around $118 for the 4 pack.

Good HP printer
This HP printer is meeting my needs and is what I wanted. It prints quickly; has ink cartridges and not ink liquid; does double-side printing; and doesn’t take up a huge amount of space on my desk. The one thing I don’t like is the copy and stop icons on the touchscreen. They are too small and hard to see. It’s annoying when I want to make a copy to have to be so careful in trying to push the copy button with my finger because it’s too small.

I like this new printer, except it is slow, and the ink runs out too quick. It does excellent scanning if you download the app to your computer, phone or laptop. All of these are a plus in my book. It's just a little slower than I would like for it to be.

Could only connect via WiFi. Printer would not work with USB. Can only scan from the app. Can’t scan from the printer itself. Setup was difficult and took way too long just to get printer to print documents from Word or e-mail. I would not recommend this printer. I even have an HP computer.

The only thing I like about it is slightly smaller. The unit is glitchy and does not always go to what I am pressing on the board for. I believe I had a 5740 and you could’ve taken that units good things and try to improve them, but not to just change them to change them because someone wanted credit for it. It is really bothersome to have a good reliable unit and then someone has to mess with the recipe and make it harder to use. Just remind your people that they know what they’re doing and how to make the systems function correctly. You do not be a test the units enough, which I see more and more everywhere.

The only thing that we liked was the print quality. Connecting it took an hour and a half. It does not print double-sided automatically, which is important to us. Trying to make a copy of a document with nearly impossible with different options. There was no manual to help us figure out the complexities of this machine. We returned it and got our money back.

Great Ptinter and for a reasonable price

The phone support I got was excellent but the printer had printer head issues right out of the box.

It pairs up nice with the computer and with my iPhone. The only thing Negative that I can say about the printer so far is that it has a little bit of a slow first page out. Other than that it works seamlessly .

The instructions and online screen are poorly designed. It took me over 1 1/2 hours on the phone with HP support to install this printer and now I am trying to scan something and now it says I need to install more software. Poor product other than it does copy ok. Too complex to use.

Very Disappointed with Office Jet Pro 8135
I replaced an older version of OfficeJet Pro only because it was no longer compatible with the new OS Operating system on my iMac. The new OfficeJet Pro 8135 is far inferior to my old machine. It is very slow, the front control screen is very small, very cumbersome scanning and it continually drops of my home network. Even Best Buy Geek Squad can't resolve the issue. And the final complaint is ink is outrageously expensive

I bought the printer at Best Buy. I already had instant ink subscription from my last computer. I followed the set up directions, but after scanning the QR code it just went in circles wanting me to get the new app. I have the app. Hours spent with HP AI. Not helpful. Next day hours spent chatting with a human who could only read the steps the AI gave the previous day. HP left me alone with no set up. I own a healthcare office so, no, I’m not stupid. Ended up driving an hour each way to get it resolved.

It actually responds well when given a request very well from cellular phones I truly love that aspect of it I haven’t tried all features yet but I am looking forward to seeing what it can do!

Setup was not quite as easy as indicated. The wireless connection drops frequently. Prints a bit slow IMO compared to my last HP. . Personally I am not a big AI fan, so that is a concern. Let the consumer decide.
Love the Instant Ink program and the Look of the printer. Just not as easy to use. Smart printer could be a bit simpler to use. Too many steps.

I would not have bought it had I known it would not function without HP replacement cartridges. My old HP printer worked perfect and easily for years. The app that supports the new one is not functional. I keep getting a message that a new app is coming soon. Very disappointed in this all-in-one printer. Beverly B

Does almost all I wanted
The main reason I wanted this printer was to get and print legal documents. I have not found a way to get the document on the full page. If I have regular or legal paper in tray it only prints half the page and very small print. It has to be on expensive special DAR required paper. So I can’t afford to make mistakes. Help!

The ease are set up was very simple. Scan the QR code follow the instructions. One thing seems quirky. Still is the AI printing mode as it tries to modify your document to save space sometimes times out and hangs up causing delays in printing. I would not opt to have this feature active for my printer.

OPERATING SCREEN IS A PROBLEM
The screen is not very accurate, so I have to press the screen multiple times to get the printer to respond. Buttons would have been much simpler and more accurate. My fear is that over time and with wear, this problem will get worse. It is very frustrating.
