Printer works great off my laptop when connected w/ a USB cable but I can't get it to work wireless. IP address that comes up when I try to download your software is different than the IP address which shows up on the printer display panel.

great product for my business very easy to use
In a mobile transport business it is very good to use I really do like the battery life I really do like the easy way to print no internet needed print straight from my phone straight from my tablet the only downside is you have to pull the paper out in order to close it up but that's the only downside to it everything else works really wonderful really good color print very clean and crisp would recommend this for any small businesses mobile businesses I can take it from my semi to my pick up to my house we just picking it up and going the only thing I did not like is the shipping of the product it went from a state that was close to me to 4 States Away From Me 2 States from me and then 5 states away from me back to me

This printer in great!
I was amazed at how they developed a printer that light, easy to carry, can print in my car, has its own battery and can be pluged in. Makes excellent copies. Makes my job so much easier when I'm on the go.
thank You

Takes 15 minutes of adjusting settings to print
We bought this to use as a regular home printer. Every single time I go to use it the printer doesn't recognize the paper size, goes "offline" and I have to monkey around with all the settings to get it back again. We have only ever used standard 8.5x11 paper. All I wanted was a printer that would reliably work when I hit print, and we only use it maybe once a month. This printer is so frustrating I have fantasies of taking out back and recreating the scene from Office Space every single time I use it.

Worked fine, then came up with a paper jam error. There was no paper jam. All the rollers were super clean. Spent hours online trying to troubleshoot. Ditto a technician.

Great Portable Printer!
I use this printer every day to print insurance applications and forms needed for my business. I travel to multiple locations carrying the printer in my computer case. The printer is durable, fast, makes great copies and is good as far as ink usage is concerned. I connect wirelessly through the direct WiFi feature to my computer. Reliably connects every time... turn it on and print using battery power that lasts all day and no printer cable to my laptop. I bought a second printer just to make sure I am not ever without this tool I need and use every day.

I just purchased this printer yesterday. I have had an HP Officejet 100 mobile printer for several years, and loved it. The only complaint I had was that the Bluetooth did not work well and I had to connect it to my computer with the cord in order to print, but that was not a really big deal. I bought this because I liked the fact that it worked on WI-fi, and could copy and scan. I love it so far. Set up was easy. The only complaint I have is that there is no tray to catch the paper, and if I am printing a large document, the sheets fly all over the place. I am taking on-line courses, and this is a problem, especially if what I am printing, does not have numbered pages. Please design a paper catch tray that can be added, if desired. I love the portability aspect, because I can just take it with me wherever I go, and continue with my class assignments with no problem. ( I have not tried to copy or scan yet, but I am sure it will work well.)

this is not trully a mobile printer
our company used the discontinued models: OfficeJet 100 & 150 and they worked great because you could stay connected to mobile hotspot and print t the same time via bluetooth.
then we bought a couple of the 250 models just to find out that the new ones does not support Bluetooth printing. it only does Wifi Direct(which is useless when you need to stay connected to a cloud application and print from it) or eprint which requires the printer to be connected to the internet as well.
I don't know what HP was thinking removing Bluetooth printing capability, but it made the mobile printers not being truly mobile. these printer are going back.

Disappointed
I bought this to do some printing and then scanning of classroom papers for my university courses. I like to write handwritten comments - and when I travel, it always is a problem. Before I left on my trip, I set the printer/scanner up and was all set to go. But on the trip, with different wireless setups, moving around from hotel to hotel, it was impossible to use.

Works Great for My Application
I had a very specific application that I wanted to use this printer for. I use in an office that for privacy reasons cannot have a wireless Internet connection. Physically a corded connection was not at all convenient. It was also difficult to plug in, so it needed to be able to work off a battery for extended periods of time.
In this office my only Internet connection is a wired, Ethernet connection. This little printer fits in a tight space. I goes all day for me without needing a charge. I can program it to shut down after so many minutes of inactivity, which significantly impacts the battery life. Then I can print to it tirelessly without a wireless connection using direct Wi-Fi all while not impacting my Ethernet connection.
I love that it is full function. I did a lot of research before I bought it. I was a little concerned that it would meet my somewhat unique and specific needs, but I could not be more pleased with it.

Excellent Printer! Used everyday
I use this printer everyday in my insurance business. It is carried in a laptop case from location to location; I have had no problems with the durability or reliability of the printer. I'm satisfied with the amount of ink it uses. The battery will last all day on a single charge. Scan and copy functions work well too. All in all this is a great portable printer.

Misrepresented
My job requires me to print from my laptop in the field where I don't have Wi-Fi access. When my OfficeJet 100 died on me I purchased the 250 because every site I checked it out on showed Bluetooth as a feature. That is the only reason I purchased it over less expensive portable printers. We print from proprietary software on our laptops so their Bluetooth Smart feature is useless to me. Since I now have to hook up a cable everytime I print, I wasted money on this model as multiple less expensive printers could have served my purpose.

BE AWARE... iPhone and iPad are a "no-go"!
Be aware... just finished talking to a HP representative and was told that this product WILL NOT work on iPhone or iPad. Apparently it will work with Android. Such a shame since I have HP all-in-one printers at work and home. I'm giving it a "one star" rating just to get attention to those who need to know.
I love HP products and they have great customer support. I hope in the future they can help those who have iPhones and iPads.
Thanks for your time.

OK Replacement for old HP 150 Mobile All-in-one
My old HP 150 mobile quit working when the bands that make the cartridges go back and forth shredded. Thus, it died. So, I replaced it with this machine. It was not easy to install and set up as I was not home on my own dedicated network. I was also disappointed when I found out that it will not bluetooth with my laptop like the old HP 150 did. The "Direct Print" feature is supposed to take the place of that as I understand it now. However, you have to make sure the thing is on the same network as your laptop. NOT AT ALL CONVENIENT IN SOME PLACES. I did finally get it set up at home on my own dedicated network, and it works OK. But, after this experience, I'm still let down with bluetooth only working with my cell phone via HP ePrint App. I don't use my phone to print anything.

Good portable printer
I have a Office Jet 100 portable printer and upgraded to a OJ 250 because of it being all in one. The printer is great. One weak note is it doesn't print by blue tooth like the 100 does. So, if your printing or scaning in your truck where there isn't wi-fi you need to hook up a usb cable. Not a really big deal but I liked the fact that you could print wireless any where.

Doesn't Work Wirelessly. HP Support Nonexistent!
I bought this to replace another printer (different manufacturer) because I moved to an apartment and wanted something more compact. It is compact, but only connected to the internet for 2 - 3 months. I contacted support ... no help. Now, I'm stuck with a semi-worthless wireless printer that I can only use if I connect my laptop with a cable. Almost $400 down the drain.

Ink Gobbler and Short Battery Life
Sure, it's mobile in that you can plug it in and it will charge. That battery lasts only a few hours once unplugged though. Kinda pointless. Also, I'd say my printing is pretty moderate. I replace the ink CONSTANTLY. And this printer is not eligible for Instant Ink. Gee... wonder why. I will be getting my Brother from my office and getting back to normal. This printer is totally cool on paper and that's about it.

Bluetooth useless
If you are buying this printer for the Bluetooth connectivity don’t do it. It does not connect with apple products or chrome book, the reason I bought it. I got it to connect with an older android phone but sadly no print service or connectivity with that. So now I have the same printer I had before just with a scanner attached. The scanner is about the only plus to the upgrade from the 200. If I would have known this I would have stayed with my separate portable scanner.

Living in a small NYC apartment; this is a perfect all-in-one! It packs easy and does simple, easy tasks (printing and scanning) quick and efficiently and happy w/the HP quality. Set-up was very simple and straightforward, the demos on the printer are so helpful. I primarily use this with my PC and have fast WiFi, so all set there. Highly recommend for a light tasks. Not sure yet how the costs of ink yet will run me, but not too worried about it yet.

As a traveling rep I bought this printer on sale about 3 months ago. It is a little investment, however, good business equipment always seems to be. I use it with an i-phone and i-pad mini. I am happy with the printer overall. It works well with my apple products using the HP Smart app. My only complaint is the ink does not go very far. Otherwise I would give it 5 star. Am curious about an extra battery to have charged when needed.
