HP Quick Release is an easy to use, 100 mm VESA-compliant, LCD monitor mounting solution that allows you to quickly and securely attach a flat panel monitor to a variety of stands, brackets, arms or wall mounts. HP Quick Release can also be used for mounting any combination of devices that are compatible with the 100 mm VESA Flat Display Mounting Interface Standard. The failsafe "Sure-Lock" mechanism snaps the monitor (or mounted device) securely in place, and can be further secured with a theft-deterrent security screw.

It keeps the area tidy by getting the box off the counter or desk area. I was able to also loop the keyboard wire and mouse wire through the front loop on the bracket to keep them from getting stolen. I mounted the bracket sideways instead of up and down as the picture shows. I ordered 35 overall and I’m pleased with the results instead of using a Kensington lock.

Rated 5 out of 5 byGEOFF1NH from Great Shame HP shortchanges written SpecsThe idea of a quick release VESA mounting plate is a good idea.Sorry, but HP again leave out, relevant details when composing the items specification.How big or heavy a CAD flat screen, will the quick-release handle? Is very necessary when many CAD engineers are going to larger screens and higher screen definitions for 3D rendering or CGI graphics etc. (e.g. 4K and higher). Same applies to there swing arm, which gives no specs on max size of screen or weight that can be mounted using the Quick mounting system. Also their customer service folks- who are not in the US but off-shore somewhere - are completely unaware or even know.So HP marketing needs to revisit their website designs and marketing information before selling or posting for sale! Use-engage, end users as trial user/readers for selling any product to ensure all details are there and understood!
