Scanning is a hit and miss endeavor, pages do not feed properly and continuously get stuck. Secretary has to prompt the scan from the machine itself and that is beyond frustrating. Plus the screen is so small on the control pad, it’s cumbersome. All in all, not as user friendly as we would like.

This was a personal office printer for purposes of copy, printing, and scanning. This printer was ordered in place of the LaserJet Pro 400 MFP 425dn because the one I had was discontinued.

Print speed and quality is excellent, however there aren't as many reduction options as enlargement, the paper tray only holds a half ream of paper (why was that a good idea?) and platen will not accommodate legal-size paper.

The fax feature would not work all the time, when it did it would constantly restart the printer. When I called tech support I was advised the only options I had was to send the device to a HP repair store or have a refurbished device delivered to me. So that would leave our business without a printer for several weeks. Finally I requested a refund and returned the device.

These when receiving a fax print one page at a time. This ties up the printing function and everything elseSame with sending a faxes as well. We have also a lot of issues with faxing erring out. When called tech support there excuse was its the fax line. I had att come out and check all the lines. when i plugged in our Dell fax all HP test faxes came in but when i hooked back the hp fax they failed. HP stated because the fax self test passed then the printer worked and its everyone else printer we send and receive from.I would not recommend this product if you need faxing at all. I would recommend M521. Worse 300 i spent
