I have had this printer for about 10 days now and it is very impressive. To me this is more than just a printer. It is also a copier, and scanner. It has some wonderful features like the touchscreen, the separate photo tray, and ability to scan to email. I was surprised by the size of the box and printer when I received it ‘not in a bad way’ of course. I opened the box and really liked what I saw. It has a very sleek and modern design. It was easy to install and connect to the Wi-Fi network and both my smart phone as well as my tablet. I had no problems getting it ready for use. I was able to install the app easily and connect my phone to the printer. The setup process was easy, getting the printer up and running. I really liked the touchscreen and the step-by-step instructions provided were very helpful and clear. I was able to navigate the printer’s features through the touchscreen without needing to look at the manual. It is very intuitive and user friendly. The printer came with two cartridges, black and color. They were easy to install and manage. Being able to just connect remotely to this printer and send pictures and documents to print is so easy just seamless. The quality of both print and scan is great for both pictures and regular documents. The printed picture is higher quality than what I expected. The printed papers and pictures have perfect alignment and no papers got stuck. Printing pictures is not as fast but it is also not bad. It is also quit, no noise at all. The instant ink program that is offered by HP is really helpful so you don’t have to worry about running out of ink. There are 3 different plans based on use but affordable.The part I struggled with a little was putting the two cartridges in the printer. It took me a couple of minutes before I realized the printer had a color indication of where each cartridge should go. There is also not a lot of room in the tray to store papers, but that is not a big problem for me.This printer will work just fine for most people whether it is for home use or in home office.

Rated 5 out of 5 byDanP18 from Was expecting moreBought a month ago, installed with no problem on all devices Phones, windows, and Mac's no problem printing a quick test page from each device to make sure, then I came back about a week later and it wouldn't print HMMM so I went into properties to find out that it dis-selected as my default on my windows based system that I'm Hard wired to Very disturbing what am I going to have to select this every time I want to print

As a person that relies on a printer for daily use I was very excited to try this product out. Overall I felt that this product met my expectations. Assembly/Set-Up: This product was incredibly easy to set up and assemble. The markings on the product and the instruction manual made it very clear how to get the product set up. Once the product was powered on, the HP website was super fast and simple to use to help get the printer calibrated and connected to my wifi/computer. I also enjoyed how the display provided touch screen functionality, and easy to understand mini videos that help provide visualization on how to properly use the product. Features: This printer truly does it all and meets all the expectations of an "all-in-one" printer. From scanning/copying/printing I was very happy with how easy this product worked and the quality of the product. The quality of the completed printed documents was high and I was pleased with the results. Problems: The only issue I had initially was getting the product to print on the actual photo paper. After searching online for troubleshooting videos I was able to find a video for a different HP model and was able to figure it out and get the product to print photos. Without these videos I do not think I would have been able to figure it out by myself. I feel like this is such an important feature of the product I would provide an automatic tutorial link(s) for customers when you complete the initial set up that eliminates any confusion. Price: I think the price of the product is fair given high functionality and high quality of the product. This product performs above and beyond the average printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 bykingofallbacon from color ink gets clogged quicklyprobably the worst color printer i've had. two brand new ink cartridges that get clogged within a week's time. now it appears i'm being charged for all the pages i need to print out to clear the print heads and check alignment. how very convenient. the touch screen is also a pain. you need to swipe it up and down to see further links. just a little too much pressure and it goes to a link you weren't interested in and then you need to start over. a simple up/down scroll button would have been better. The print quality itself is just 'eh'. their website to track instant ink is apparently down, with a 'page not available' header. had a kodak color printer for 8 years before this. had the hp for a month now and it looks like i will be going back to a kodak very soon.

Haven't changed the ink cartridges yet and I am a little leery about it. But it works and that's what I wanted. Could care less about wi Fi hook up, almost threw my cord out before I got it hooked up!

HP sent me a replacement and it was a REFURBISHED printer and NOT another new one. I had purchased a NEW ENVY printer. Now returning both and bought another brand.

My favorite feature is the HP App that I use with my phone. It was very easy to install and is very user-friendly. The product instructions were very clear, they actually had a video to set up the printer which I found to be extremely helpful! The quality of the pictures is amazing. Overall, I`m very impressed with the HP ENVY Photo printer and I find myself printing a lot more photos.
