The printer itself is decent. Its compact size is perfect for my small office closet, and I appreciate the Bluetooth connectivity and built-in fax capability. However, there are a couple of significant downsides. It doesn't support automatic double-sided printing, which is disappointing. Also, the HP app on my Mac won't work no matter how many times I've restarted or reinstalled it. I can only print through the app on my phone. I had hoped to use the app on my laptop to make faxing easier, but instead I have to go through extra steps to send faxes from my phone.

I was replacing a 15 year old printer wanted to go with same brand due to reliability. I am in my 60s still working FT. Bought the new printer set it up
Following instructions then a couple weeks later discovered that the printing process is some subscription that only allows me to print if subscribed otherwise I cannot print. I only print maybe 10 copies a month but am going to be out on a leave of absence spay need to do a rew more. Printer goes offline quie alot. Must unplug from the back to reset. I dont like that the printer doesnt have a paper feeder tray at the bottom. You have to place the paper at the top. I liked my HP 4650 alot more but unfortunately, its not available anymore.

Disappointing at best! from
Not impressed at all.
The set up has been time consuming. Trying to get the dang thing to print. Then when I finally get it to print my black ink is running out in less than a month from buynig it and I was not able to print some important documents. I have been a lifelong Canon printer customer and decided to give HP a try. I am very disappointed in this product.

Sure beats the brother with the built in death date I had......
So much quieter too plus the quality of the print is so much crisper and clearer. I'm not sure I like the paper feed, but that's probably on me. The ink cartridges seem to be a little small but that's probably part of the learning curve too. This is absolutely stellar compared to the brother piece of junk I had. Good riddance.

The printer was easy to set up once I installed new cartridges. The set up ink cartridges did not work. The registration process is very easy as well. The printer works great. I can print from my phone, computer, or via the HP app.

We returned the piece of junk after a day.
This printer was slow, then stopped working completely. We got repeated error messages saying the paper input tray was empty, no matter how much paper we tried to load. We gave up and returned it.

I got this to make submitting assignments easier since it is wireless, but unfortunately you can't scan from a school ipad because the hp app can't be downloaded. I know that really isn't the fault of the device, but it still makes things more challenging. Also, unless I am wrong, you can't scan from the document feeder, so scanning one page at a time takes forever. It does work for printing wirelessly which is nice.

The printer is very efficient and great for home printing, scanning and copying.
The HP app on my desktop took a while to setup but as a network printer it worked right away.
I haven't used any of the AI features yet.
It's a nice medium size for a home printer and it's quiet and pretty fast.

This printer is easy to set up, even for someone who’s technically-challenged. The paper feeds from the back, which is easier to load, rather than the underneath tray. It does not print double-sided, which is the only drawback.

Set up was easy and worked well in my home the first time. When I moved it to my son's home I could not connect to wifi. Finally got the right cable to connect to a computer after much searching for help and a few trips to Best Buy. Wifi works sometimes for air print. Other times not and requires much trial and error. Great Budget Printer
I bought this printer because my 10 old HP printer finally quit working. I love HP quality so I decided to get another one.
Since I only use the printer for home printing I dont need to spend a lot of money.
I saw this one and decided to get it. Setting it up was a little difficult because the instructions are not as clear as the should be especially where the paper adjustment is located. The printer will not work unless you adjust this. I had to go to You Tube to locate it. The process took longer than I expected.
Once that was done the printer works great.

It was not difficult to set up and get running. The copy are clear , and produced quickly.
Also the scan and fax options save a lot of time as you can use your phone to store and send them.

I purchased this as an upgrade from a smaller HP printer. My little cheap printer was super easy to setup and this one was a little more complicated making me print through the HP app instead of directly from my phone. The printing is faster than my old one, which I appreciate. I also had an issue where every time I completed a print job all of the lights started blinking so I would have to physically unplug it and then plug it back in to begin my next print job. Overall, it was initially a little annoying but not enough for me to return it.

First, inside instruction sheet gave a phone number which was a scam. (888-369-2789) Thinking it was HP was told it would cost $199.00 to set up. When I finally hung up called HP (different number to find out HP is not open on Weekends. No, did not consent to paying. They did disable McAfee! Called McAfee got it put back on. Thru a hassle got everything checked , on 08/10/2026 was finally able to activate printer.

The printer itself seems solid, good features for the price point. The weakness is the software. HP seems to think that an app on your phone is the appropriate way to install software on a computer for this printer. The install app is so poor I almost returned the printer. There should always be an obvious .exe file that is clearly identified on the website and easy to understand what it is and how to download it. And it should execute locally and not online. After several hours I was able to get the printer installed, but it should not be this hard. There should also be a solid HP utility that will completely removes everything from a failed install. I would not buy this printer again because of the poor quality software.....

I had it less than a week and had to delete it from my computer 4 or 5 times and reinstall it just to get 1 important document printed. It took 2 days to get it to print again. The app doesnt help explain anything. Deleted the printer from the app too, and there is no way to reinstall it there. So now I just dont exist apparently. But when the printer does decide to work, it works well.

The set up was the easy part. Make sure you are not sent some random site for drivers. Lots of scammers. I am still dealing with a pop up every time I start my machine. it tells me there is a conflict between windows word and PDF. I do not know still trying to kill it

Absolute trash (literally)... do not recommend.
I ended up just tossing it in the trash after 2 weeks (not joking). The Application for this is terrible, it almost never connects to my PC and when it does its a huge hassle to get it to. Tried the direct connect.. that just waste of paper to give you the direct connect code then doesn't do anything. On top of that... it would randomly go into a Serious Error and all lights would flash. It's near impossible to get things to print out of the HP app (like directly from web browser) if you do manage to get it to connect. Connecting to our phone didn't ever work... just complete waste of money.... DO NOT RECOMMEND. I bought a cannon printer after and it worked instantly and have had no issues with it.

I spent about 90 minutes on the phone with customer support trying to connect it to our Wi-Fi, even when router was right next to it. Finally connected, but problem persists - no connection, no matter what I do, and then sometimes it suddenly connects all by itself. Sometimes not. FYI, I’ve read the manual, spoken at length to Support, use the HP app and am a former programmer. Also, the Power button won’t go off - just blinks on and off until I unplug the machine. What a waste of money!

Before purchasing this printer, I owned a different model in a similar price range that left me quite disappointed. However, since switching to this printer, I have been amazed by its quality and affordability.
Yesterday, I printed a few photos on regular paper, and the colors were so beautiful that I was able to frame them right away. The photos are of my parents, who live in Germany, and being able to print them out at that moment meant the world to me. Having physical photos in a frame to see every day brings a great sense of comfort and joy that digital photos on a phone simply cannot match.

Hard time getting results
Had a hard time setting up the printer. After I got it to finally work, I had to unplug the printer before each print job or the next print job was exceptionally slow about a minute and a half per page. I got HP's AI help for an hour and it seemed to work OK. On my last print job the printer stopped in the middle of the print job and I had to reset the printer and my internet to get it to work again. For a while during the process the printer completely disappeared from my settings on my desktop computer (also HP). Now when I start up my computer, I get a message that my printer has the wrong driver but I ignore the message and hope for the best. The print quality is great and I have already printed over 200 pages but still hold my breath hoping it will continue to work properly. I'm already on my third package of ink bought from Walmart.

The basic printer functions performed ok, but it had continuous problems staying connected to WiFi network, despite purchasing a new router. It also would often fail to turn on or off, requiring constant restarts. Returned it for a refund after weeks of this.

Wanted an inexpensive printer to use in my music studio to do nothing more than print lyrics and sheet music.After unpacking and following the quick set up guide, the printer did not recognize the ink cartridges. After several tries removing and reinstalling them, it finally recognized them but still would not print because the printer kept reporting that the lid (cover) was not closed. After a half day on line finding out that I was not the only person who has experienced these same issues, I packed the piece of JUNK back up in it’s box and brought it back to BJ’s who gave me my refund. A wasted day trying to get a brand new useless piece of HP TRASH to do nothing more than print a simple page of sheet music.. Don’t recommend buying this waste of useless garbage unless you’re in the movie or online video industry and just need an inexpensive non-working printer for a “prop” that will never actually work….

Got my new printer, it came with 2 x ink cartridge, the sales guys said it didn't (that will have been to get me to spend another £42.99).
The ink did not last long. I replaced the cartridges, but I can't get the printer to overrule the replace your ink cartridge warning, despite doing this and following their minimal instructions.
My frustration is lack of instructions.

I had easily printed my recipes with the HP All in One. Copying, scanning, and printing them was so easy I did it from my tablet that I did not even use to setup with. It can connect through wifi or bluetooth for simple printing easily without additional questions.
With the ease of use and wifi, bluetooth printing I could use almost any tablet, phone or computer and have something printed in no time.
I only had 1 issue and that was setting up the wifi but it was simply fixed by pressing 1 button. The printer printed the instructions and told me exactly what to do. It was fixed in 2 minutes.

I love that I can scan, copy, and print from it. Bluetooth has been a game changer. It makes life so much easier not to have connect the printer to my computer. It's been a great upgrade to my home office. It took me a while to figure out how to set it up - which involved downloading the HP app to on my computer, but once I got it figured it out it was fairly easy.

The printer was easy to set up out the box and the compact size made it easy to fit on my table. I print daily often and the printer responded well when printing from my computer to the printer. I felt there was no delay in printing time. The pages came out with a nice quality and there were no streaks or smearing on the pages. The colors were vibrant as well. I also used the copy feature and the quality of the pages met my expectations as they looked like the originals I used. The printer is easy to operate as the buttons are on front and there is an LCD screen. Overall I think this is a good printer for home use.

It is very compact and doesn’t require a lot of space which is very convenient.

The printer itself is great. However it won’t let me register it so I missed out on my free ink deal. Even received a deal from Amazon when I purchased it that said I would get an extra month but can’t claim it because the registration keeps saying it encountered a problem.

Prints and scans quickly. Ease setup, automatically connected to my network with permission. Can’t believe how much faster it prints compared to the previous model. Just be aware that you have to decline auto ink refills if you only use occasionally.

It is slow to respond, sometimes stops altogether and have to reset. I dislike not having buttons for scanning, etc and rather hazving to use my computer for functions. The external paper feed doesn't hold much and it's a hassle to get it restarted if it runs out halfway through pringing.

Disappointing with performance
Liked the printing clarity. But purchased to print items for local church angel tree. Cannot print multiples or it starts spooling and I have to shut down and begin again which can take up to 20 minutes. Can only print a single page at a time to avoid this issue.

Bought it brand new at Walmart, set it up and it said the color ink was as empty!
I have had an HP printer for 3 years and it’s been working great but not to long ago it wouldn’t print so I bought a different one at Walmart. I struggled to set it up, it made me download the app, and it o my printed once. It kept saying it didn’t have color ink when it was brand new. It’s been a month and it still won’t print.

Too expensive to not connect
This printer makes me so mad! I have to disconnect my phone from my wifi and connect to the HP printers wifi, which says "no internet" even though its connected to my home internet. My phone wont be able to print because it says no internet.
Same for my computer!! The whole process should be easier, especially with the price we paid for the printer. The copier is great and easy to use

To be honest, the only thing I like is that it’s more compact. I went from the officejet pro series (after it randomly stopped working when I replaced ink) to this one and it’s been rough. It randomly disconnects from my WiFi and takes a chunk of time to reconnect each times, the print time is also incredibly slow. I will say the quality of print is nice, if you are prepared to wait a bit.

I used to be a loyal HP customer. This printer was my last straw. I've noticed a significant decline product quality and durability, as well as easy, clear setup (especially setting up an existing printer on a new network), troubleshooting, and customer service is pretty much non-existent as is the case with many companies now. This printer worked for the first couple weeks until I did a MacOS software update on my laptop. Suddenly the printer's software is corrupted and cannot be communicated with no matter what I do. All troubleshooting failed. All online and HP recommendations failed. And, since customer service is unhelpful, I now have a big junky paperweight. Reviews for newer HP products appear to echo my dissatisfaction and call out the company's cheap and glitchy software. I've since gone with a different brand.

Printer works extremely well and is quiet. Installation process awful.
Printer is used almost exclusively to accept jobs from 2 mobile phones and two tablets. Device works well and is quiet. Installation using mobile phone started well but had numerous hurdles. Install process does not complete registration. Manual effort to register was ineffective. App still says install incomplete even though device is working.

You can’t argue that HP makes a quality printer. The print quality is good, though a little slow. The scan feature to the HP app is nice as is the print from your phone through the app.
I do think that the people who design the printers, app, interface, etc. should have to go through the process of setting the printer up to get a good feel for it. I also think they need to put more instructions in the box, especially for setting it up. They give a web address but it’s only for installing paper and ink, not the hardest part. The WiFi remains a pain. It tells you to do it in the app but for the longest time the app could not find my printer and it kept telling me to set up the WiFi to continue, which is not possible as far as I can tell. After getting my the paper installed correctly (see more below), it finally recognizes the printer and I could set up the WiFi through the app. The problem with the paper is the “guide” for paper size is down sort of inside the printer and not obvious at first (even though the set up website shows it being at the top of the paper tray which is inaccurate).
On top of all that, I continue to hate Instant Ink and it is infuriating that you can’t bypass that without a first step or continuing and it takes multiple times of declining the trial before it will finish setting up the printer completely.

I have had this printer since May. It has been issues every time I try to use it. Doesn’t print but says printing. It needs a driver when I don’t understand because I uploaded it when I got it no issue. I have had to reinstall it more times that I should have too.

I purchased years ago and excellent hp printer that copied on both sides. This one you can only manually copy both sides. Very disappointed. My husband will do my printing bc I become so upset when wanting 2 copy both sides. The box said it scanned, printed, copied, guess I didn't tag the small print that wasn't there.

It's been over 5 years since I've upgraded my printer, and while my old printer still worked it was slowing down and just not performing like it once did. Enter the HP Deskjet 4352 which blows my old printer out of the water and fixed all my printing problems! I was scared that setting it up would be hard or take forever, but all you have to do is download the HP app and it literally took 5 or 10 minutes to unbox and get print-ready. It prints, scans, and copies quickly and quietly, and is basically a mini home version of an office printer, so you're ready for anything! It even comes with HP AI if you're interested in using that to simplify printing even more.

I was surprised at the compact design and easy set-up of the HP DeskJet 4352 All-in-One Printer. It's very straightforward and easy to work with. The ink cartridges are quite small and simple to install. It's very easy to troubleshoot. I couldn't find a way to do a test print on demand, separate from the initial set-up but I'm still playing around with it. If you need a simple, scaled-down all-in-one, this is a great option. Impressed with it so far. Thank you for the opportunity.

I cant believe the 4352 was sent to me by HP when I told the rep am a print and scan documents for work. It has no feeder on it!
You can only make copies by placing them one at a time on the glass. Same if you scan something, it has to be one at a rime on the glass. The worst inefficient printer was sent to me when I signed up for monthly printer service and bought all kinds of ink cartridges. HP Imade my money go in a garbage can. When I told the rep I did not want it, he disabled the printer immediately so I could not even print the return label that was being emailed to me by fed ex. I am so angry that I was tricked into this worthless purchase! I should not be charged for an obsolete printer!

Great Printer, but Instant Ink Arrived Too Late
I’ve purchased HP many times, it’s a brand I trust. The idea of ink cartridges automatically sent to me by mail caught my attention. Despite reading about it, wasn’t completely sure how it works. I simply thought that as soon as my printer started making empty I would get a new one in the mail. My color ink cartridge was the first to run out. I expected to see one in the mail, but 3 days had passed and I needed the color ink cartridge. I went to the store and purchased it. The following day I received the 2 ink cartridges from HP. One black and one color. My concern is will the cartridges always come in late? I run a small business, and I’m also a student. I use my printer frequently. Am I on the right plan? Or should I simply switch back and purchase the ink cartridges when I need them? Besides that, I love the print quality and speed is fairly good. No complaint about that. Would I recommend HP? In a heart beat. No doubt.

I thought that I was getting a printer without the subscription (which is very freaking stupid and guarantee to make your customers hate you). First off, it was a pain in the butt to set up. Second, the subscription is pointless, why do I have to pay you more when I already bought the printer and by the page? Really?! I can't guarantee that ill print just 100 pages every month. Overall, it I could return it, I would but I

The HP Deskjet 4352 is a good little printer for very small jobs! It was easy to assemble and set up! I usually have bigger jobs so it was a little slow for me, but in a pinch since I moved and can’t find my larger hp, this will do!

This printer is junk! It always has trouble pulling paper in to print. Most ot the print jobs it prints so slow . This printer is definitely the worst I have ever had!

Ugh...
I bought this printer for my new office. It has been nothing but a headache so far. I wanted a printer I could plug into my laptop and print off handouts for clients. It gives all kinds of options for remote printing off my phone, but in terms of basic printing, it has been nothing but frustration and stress.

Deskjet 4358
The deskjet 4356 is a low cost replacement for my officeJet 3833. My officeJet 3833 stopped working after a power surge. Unfortunately, it has no user serviceable parts to replace its power supply unit. It is not cost effective for me to repair the officeJet 3833. I will have to discard the printer and its ink cartridges.
The deskjet 4356 seems to be able to do everything that the officeJet 3833 can do.

It's the slowest printer I have ever purchased from HP. Everything else is average.

Great addition to my home office
Im very pleased with the hp 4352 all in one printer. It has really elevated my home office. The Bluetooth feature has made things so convenient for me. Now im able to work and print from my office without being tied to my computer. The scan feature is incredible. Its fast and very accurate. The copy feature with the copy tray makes it easy to make fast copies of multiple documents. I highly recommend it.

Great Convenient Printer
Good printer for small, everyday printing jobs. It’s easy to set up, prints clearly, and works well when you don’t need to print large amounts. My main complaint is that the ink tends to dry out quickly when the printer isn’t used regularly. Overall, a good option for light, occasional printing.

It will not stay connected with my computer. I have been on the phone for hours with HP and each time I go back in the next day it is not connected and won't print. Any representative that I get that is in a foreign country by the way and I won't let them in my computer they hang up on me. It is just a paper weight now

Set up was easy, not a fan of the automatic ink thing as I don’t use my printer that often. I’ve had good luck with all the HP products I’ve owned; was disappointed when my old printer is not being supported by HP so had to buy new. Guess that’s the program for less expensive home printers.

As disappointing as I was to my parents. One star rating is one star too many.
From the moment I first plugged it in, the ink cartridges errored out. Struggled to get it to work with just black ink while waiting for Amazon to ship me a replacement color cartridge. Then the black ink errored out too. Cue another replacement order. Was very pleased to be able to finally print something after only one week. Alas, the new cartridges would unpredictably error out sometimes too. Try turning it off and back on again! (Actually the power button does nothing - it just blinks at you. Gotta actually unplug the machine to turn it off, of course.) Remove cartridge, polish the terminals, re-insert, cross fingers, stand on your head… Invested in the ink subscription - maybe that’s the marketing plan to get people to sign up - only sell crap cartridges. Subscription ink does seem to be more dependable, but printing a document can take several minutes while the printer thinks about it… or it will print half a page… or not at all. Just whatever it feels like.
Oh, and the scanner feature is pretty great, if you can stand the software taking about five minutes to load up - and if it’s able to recognize the printer. The printer it literally just printed to is suddenly not recognized. Cue the unplugging and plugging routine, restart the software, reboot the computer, scan the document with your iPhone. Works better.
The tractor-feed dot matrix printer my old man used for two decades was more dependable than this thing. But other than that, it’s a great printer!

Just like the 4200!
I replaced my 4200 because the print quality was poor and this one is exactly the same. When I print it cuts an inch from the boarder of everything I print. It will not print boarderless so that my image takes up the whole page. Would not recommend this or the 4200 series to anyone! Buyer beware.

Pretty, works great, but was a bit to set up
I ordered white. It is really sharp-looking and small. But it actually took a bit to set up. It stalled during the process a few times, so I had to start over, which took about 20 minutes. It is on the edge of a small desk, so my papers fall on the floor. Haven't found a pull-out tray. If it scans, this is not intuitive, and I don't see an obvious button. So, this means I have to find the instructions to figure out those last 2 items. Normally, I can figure things out without instructions.

Need to improve on feeding the paper, with moving the blue guide to the edge and not in the middle when customers first receive the equipment.

It is a reasonable price and size.
It is the 3rd of this type of printer I have owned but this one is very slow to print and like the previous printer the paper feeder is a bit testy and will jam easily. I do weekly reports and handouts for my bowling league as well as personal scans and craft printing needs, so it is in use most every day. The life span seems to be about 3 years, and it is the paper feeder that usually stops working.

The printer does everything I need it to do (scan,copy, and print in black/color). I use it for all my teacher projects and homework for college classes. My only complaint is that it prints and scans very slowly.

I have been a royal HP customer getting your printers for years, but this one was a real loser. It was not that easy to set up and it kept breaking down. I ultimately had to get a different model and I lost the money that I paid for this one. However, I did stay with HP.

The HP App is beyond frustrating
The Printer itself works as expected. Setup of the Printer in the HP App on my mobile worked fine. However it isn't my phone I wanted to print off of. I have a Windows 11 desktop with a fresh install of Windows. To install the printer drivers HP requires the HP App installed on my desktop. After installing their "app" it detects and installs the printer fine. However outside of the app you can't print. It gave some random error that Google was no help figuring out. I un-installed/reinstalled the printer drivers multiple times, restarted the computer multiple times, and always the same issue. I installed it on another older Windows 11 desktop that really was never going to print to it, and still the same issue so I isn't something weird with that desktop itself. In frustration I was uninstalling the HP App on the older desktop to return to troubleshooting the newer desktop when all of a sudden it starts printing.
To summarize I was forced to install the HP App to install the printer drivers on my windows desktops, and then remove the HP App once the drivers were installed so it would actually print. Why I mention it on a review of this product? Because this is likely a driver issue with this model of printer and the HP App conflicting. HP might fix this in the future... If they even realize it is an issue. In the meantime I don't use the HP App except for what I'm forced too by HP, and they can claim all they want it is needed but clearly it isn't... Yet. It is very possible that will change in the future, who knows. However at this point it is highly unlikely I will continue to use HP Products when it is time for a replacement. The price point isn't worth the hoops required to make the printers work anymore.

My printer is constantly going into an error. I use it in my classroom, so it sits in one spot. I bought it brand new and I’m constantly having to mess around with it. When it is working, it does a great job. Copies don’t take too long.

A bit of a pain
I was excited for a new printer, but this one has been a bit of a pain. It freezes up when I try to send something to print. I end up having to unplug it and plug it back in each time I want it to print. It’s very, very frustrating.

Putting in the new ink cartridge put the printer into a constant error mode.
After changing the colored ink with the cartridge I was sent via my HP ink subscription, the printer stopped recognizing the black ink cartridge has valid.
