It suits my needs perfectly as I do not need anything more than this to get the job done.I hope the ink lasts for a while? Time will tell. I intend on getting lots of use out of my new printer. Rated 5 out of 5 by from a rare kindIt took some hunting to find a suitable printer without the faxing, scanning, and copying features. This one prints nicely even in draft, is relatively small, and reasonably fast. It seems to use cartridges pretty rapidly also and has one irritating habit of putting advice to align ahead of proceeding with a print command. That's after it was aligned initially. But that is a minor complaint. It measures up to the other HP printers I've had in the past.

My first purchase was in 2016 and I bought this printer as a back up since I am waiting for the original to reach the end of its useful life. The original one still works great, so we will see if I actually need to put this second one into service. If not, can always donate to someone that might need a printer.

All the ALL-In_One printers are much to wide/deep for the space I had available. It may not be the fastest or multi-functional but this printer fits perfectly and does all that I need it to do. If you have a limited amount of space (depth) and just need simple black n white or color prints this is the perfect printer. Thanks HP

The print quality was good and the speed was better than I expected. It will work with my Mac and all of my Windows machines.To be totally honest, I bought these to try to modify to print heavier stock and have a straight paper path. It took less than a day.I was so happy with my purchase I just bought 2 more, another 1112 and the one with the scanner (extra 20 bucks). Thank you HP.

It is small and lightweight; I could pick up the box easily and take it up a flight of stairs. It was simple to install and my grandson took care of the online requirements. The print quality, both black and white and color are fantastic! I wanted a printer that didn't have a lot of bells and whistles on it but gave me superior output and that is what I have now. Great!

Which is the least expensive product for HP to make. And charge you more than the machine is worth. Also, the ink dispenses even though you don't use it much. Making it run out before 50 sheets of copy.
