Never be swayed by cheaper inks or refills, the printer will suffer and your print jobs will pay the price and not a pretty one either - I have tried other ways in the past and have found that manufactured inks are the best. The ink is fine, but the printer needed to be replaced and HP would not cancel the ink order before it shipped. HP insisted that I accept delivery of the ink order then jump thru hoops to return it. I'll not buy another HP after this experience.

Right after I changed the black, my printer told me the yellow ink was defective and needed to be replaced, so I replaced an almost new unit. I don't see the point of buying genuine HP ink if this happens.

I tried buying off brand (supposedly brand new cartridges) that were supposed to work as well as the HP ones. And they were just nothing but problems! The above issues didn't happen with just this printer but with my previous HP printer as well. Buy HP brand if you want reliability, and value! My dad always said, "Cheap is cheap and doesn't mean less expensive" This quote sure applies here! Because where is the value when you have to keep repeatedly cleaning the printer heads? or if it just hoses down your printed material with huge blotches of ink!?? And you have to keep reprinting stuff? Plus having to buy ink more often? I Highly recommend these HP ink cartridges as a good, reliable Value!

After I installed the cartridge the print stopped functioning. I would accept that the printer needs replaced as I have had it for a long time but when look I don't see any HP printers that will use the 933 cartridge style. So now I have perfectly good ink cartridge but no printer to use it in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Somewhat expensive for service provided The ink seems to "dry out" or become sketchy after a very short period of time. If the printer is not used almost on a daily basis the heads have to be cleaned which uses a considerable amount of ink making the printing cost/sheet rise rather rapidly. I have two other HP Printers that use totally different Ink cartridges and they sometime sit for weeks and do not encounter this problem. This issue is the same for the Black and the individual (3) color cartridges.

Would have bought at Sams Club because it is cheaper but got a $10 off coupon and free shipping so it worked out to be a little cheaper from HP. Looked around at the after market stuff and looks like I would only save $2 on each ink cartridge but don't think it's worth taking a chance on it. Just set up my new 6700 premium and still using the starter ink so will have to see how long the XL cartridges will last.

I also purchased a backup package (932-933) at Office Max in Okemos, Michigan. They credited me for returning the 4 empty cartridges. My HP printer was malfunctioning and Best Buy provided a new Officejet 6600 which had a 2 year warranty. I found my contact, Justin Adolph, to be conscientious, competent and congenial both by phone and at the store. Computer is like new! Thank you!

However, I hate that HP has a design feature/flaw that PREVENTS printing if any one of the three color cartridges is out of ink, even though there is plenty of black ink. HP should not be ripping off customers like this. Allow the printer to print only with black ink; even if the black is not as rich. HP, if you do not offer a patch or work around you will lose me as a future customer on my next purchase. I have many other customers with the same complaints. The quality of the ink is satisfactory.

It's a real time-saver with not having to change carts as often, especially with Black ink. I configure many of my print jobs to print in black/draft, rather than waste the colors on "throw-aways". I had one document in a plastic sheet protector outside which got water in it & stayed wet for days and the black ink never did run. This seems to be the same for the color documents. I no longer hesitate to print important color photos or documents for safe keeping.

It always seams to run out and I have nothing to replace them with so I buy 2 each. I have to buy HP's as to have the original cartridge refilled they will not work in the HP printer. The printer will not accept the original cartridge being it was refilled. The printer doesn't accept it. Being a senior citizen and on a fixed income I can only afford to buy cartridges after my income tax comes back. I can't afford to buy them from Best Buy or Staples are too expensive and they never have the XL's and are usually don't have the 933 or 932's in stock.

However, after I installed it I had trouble and it kept saying I had ink issues. I then purchased all brand new HP cartridges for every color and replaced them all. Since then my printer has been inoperable and the error messages range from ink use to no printhead and I had never had these messages even when I had to throw in another brand. This makes me think there is something in the technology link since it is a printer that is 4 years old. I tried to call and use the website and get a robot that doesn’t help at all. VERY FRUSTRATED and UPSET! Will not be buying another HP printer ever again.

I had lots of trouble installing the ink cartridge because the instructions did not show which protective tape segments need to be removed and which ones needed to remain on the cartridge. I called HP and after listening to my situation, the gentleman said that he would send me a replacement cartridge.

Unfortunately my HP Printer stopped working before I needed the 2nd cartridge. I inquired about returning the one for a cartridge that would fit my new HP printer only to be told it could not be returned. I've learned my lesson, I will definitely not buy more than one cartridge at a time. My low rating is for customer service more than the product itself.

I have thier HP printer 6600 and use thier hp cartridges as well as a HP Computer PC desk top. I tried to save money by purchasing a cheaper cartridge that was compatible to my hp printer cartridge. They always jammed my printer and ran out of ink to quickly. Since then, I buy only HP cartridges. There was only one time that I purchased an XL set of cartridges in where the ink ran out within one month where they normally last up to 6 months. When I called HP representatives, they quickly and without hesitation, replaced the entire package and made good on the defective cartridges. Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've tried other products, even the "so-called"... ...Re-fill inks and discount brands from other stores, even so-named HP brand as stocked in other stores than HP's own. I buy exclusively from HP now and get excellent results. I buy the longer lasting XL cartridges because they not only really do last longer, but they also save me the time of changing the cartridges out and therefor, since I do not have to change as often, it is less wear on the printer. I am an artist as well as a writer, and I say the color and mixed tones from these inks are better, longer lasting and faster drying than any others I have used. I would recommend HP inks any time for any printing application, and I especially recommend the longer lasting HP "XL" inks.

Difficult to get the combination of print quality, paper type/style, and size. Printer will print 19x30 but nothing on the printer form selection is available for this or plain, photo, or whatever. Screw with it long enough it performs well. Printer operation definitely needs cleaned up and stop forcing the quality of ink usage when I'm testing my product!

So when the printer band broke, we decided to stay with HP and purchase a 21st Century model. We purchased HP Oficejet 6600. Our son, Scott, installed it for us. Glad he was here to do so. The printer ink cartridges are different. Not used to them as yet. I believe all I need to know about our new printer and new ink cartridges is in the owners manual. Am I right? Any chance on getting a fabulous deal on a HP Computer? We are seniors and are on a fixed income. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance. Phil McKenney

The only drawback I can see is that they COST the same from you as they do from Staples, and I can have them in 20 minutes if I care to do the drive. There are no affordable options. Perhaps there aren't enough people who take advantage of these features to warrant continuing, but there are probably a sizable number who decorate our homes with our own photographs and found this to be a blessing to own.

There’s nothing more frustrating than a “low ink warning” message half way through your project. The high yield cartridges, last so much longer than the regular cartridges so you can complete more projects before replacing the cartridges. The free express delivery is a bonus too. Very satisfied!!

With the "shelter in place" rule, I didn't how I was going to buy more. Then I remembered that I could purchase HP original products on line! They were delivered quickly and know I can relax about the printer.

I rarely print in color, yet I keep getting messages to replace my color cartridges. I am seriously thinking of a different brand printer for my next replacement. your inks are simply too expensive.

Finally after 2 days they worked and I was able to meet my deadline! Reasonably priced and will purchase again before these run out.

I do not use my printer that often so I was surprised when my printer alerted "low on ink". The HP printer was a good price but the cost of the HP ink cartridges and how often they need to be replaced: unacceptable. So disappointed. Furthermore, the ONLY reason I ordered online is the promise of "next business day" delivery. I ordered on a Thursday and received the cartridges on a Monday evening 9pm. That was definitely NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works flawlessly unlike cheap substitutes After replacing the ink cartridge a few times over the years in our Officejet 6600, I decided to try a set of those much less expensive cartridges found on Amazon. Initially they seemed to be just as good, but after a month or so (we just print perhaps 10 pages a week), the colors produced were very inconsistent....sometimes printing the same page a few times yielded better results, then later that didn't even help. Then one day the black cartridge dumped a big ink blot on a page...so we tossed all the cheap ones and are back to the pricey but always reliable HP ones.
