Rated 5 out of 5 by from Angry and scam i’m very disappointed and angry that I have to be signed up for instant ink for this cartridge to work. I think this policy is deceptive and a scam to force me to sign up for instant ink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only Get HP Ink Cartridges!!! I made the mistake of getting non-HP cartridges, and when I installed them, they didn't work. Ordered the HP - black and the range of colors - and they worked immediately. I know that HP said to only order HP cartridges, but I thought that was for marketing purposed. And crazily, the price was not that different. I'm sold! Only replace with HP cartridges!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long lasting The XL is the only way to go if you print a lot. I prefer ordering direct from HP as local stores are often out of stock. Plus HP doesn't charge shipping fees and turnaround time is quick -- within a few days. I have the wireless HP8025 Printer which I love. I can email and fax directly from the printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive Ink The shopping experience for this product through HP was easy and straightforward. The reason I only gave it two stars is because of the expense of a small amount of black ink. My other printer is an Epson and I just bought a bottle of ink for it that was about 1/3 of the price And considerably more product. The Epson seems to be a better printer all around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP 910 Black, Cyan, Yellow, Magenta Cartridges We’ve had 4 other HP printers with quicker and larger print capacity. None of the 910 High Yeild or Regular HP Cartridges are as simple to install as our other HP printers. Flipping back the orange ink cover is disappointing, they almost always leak the toner on your fingers & the cartridges!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Met my expectations. I don't know what to review. I ordered a cartridge. It came. I inserted it. It worked. There was nothing special about the process unless you consider how bad some customer service is. What you did met my expectations. You neither over-performed or under-performed. My expectations were met. Thank you

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality, but the pricing... I like my HP Printer and the quality of the printing it does, but seriously, by the time one spends the money for the third set of refill ink cartridges, they have doubled the cost of the entire printer system!! This does not seem like a "cost effective" long-term ownership situation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Be careful when opening Two out of the first four cartridges I received spewed out ink as soon as I twisted the orange lever off. Lots of ink on my hands as I tried to protect the carpeted floor, although a ton of ink also got on carpet. HP said to send all 4 cartridges back and they would replace for free, but it looked as though they did charge for new cartridges. Haven't checked credit card yet, but I will not be happy if I had to pay double for one set of cartridges.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great HP Printer Cartridges These HP printer cartridges are as good as I expect them to be. I used to use a generic cartridge set, and that worked quite well while saving me a bit of money. Then my wife purchased an HP laptop and tried to print something out. The laptop discovered the generic cartridges and shut the printer down. I had to purchase HP cartridges to be able to use my printer again. So be careful if you prefer to use generic cartridges.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Caveat Empty You should know that, although the price has not increased for ink cartridges, the number of pages for usable ink has been cut about in half-instead of an XL cartridge yielding 1500 pages of ink, it now yields 850. That, in fact, IS a price increase to the buyer via a marketing ploy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive and wasteful ink r4equirements. I am a relatively low user of HP printing. I purchased a new black XL at the end of my ridiculously expensive "free 6 months." When I replaced the three colors, I again had to replace the black XL. Since the end of my ink contract, I have had to replace all my XL cartridges twice. The system seems to require a simultaneous replacement of all 4 cartridges at the same time. Expensive and presumably unnecessary. I thought I

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Total disappointment with what should have been routine maintenance Total disappointment. I've used HP ink for decades, no problem. But this time, I loaded the new cartridge and got a "low ink" signal, even worse than the almost empty cartridge I replaced. The printer refused to print. Quality control missed this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive HP Ink I love the quality of my HP Printer but the ink is so expensive, I bought an Epson Printer. The quality of the print sucks but when I need a quality job I use the HP Printer. Howeber I went for Epson because HP does not have a home printer that copies back to back and prints back to back because if the did I would have stayed with HP but the cost of ink became the biggest factor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP cartridge 1st time defective Having used HP printers since 1990’s and preferring them with very few problems except ‘old age of mechanics’ I have never had a brand new cartridge failure. Ipurchased two black XL and the first one I installed threw codes of after market and not original HP. First time I shut down, restarted and it printed once Just to throw code again with no ability to print. After following through all directives on correcting, U bit the bullet and installed the second one which worked perfectly . Will HP honor their product and credit my account for the defective cartridge? I have it and the box I thought I had discarded. If you want it return for inspection, please send me a prepaid mailer. Thankyou.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from delivery problems I have purchased HP ink twice in the last few months, both were delivered by Fed-Ex and left in a snowbank the last time (I had cleared the sidewalk and porch before delivery and it was dry, so I don't understand why delivery person threw it into a snowbank). Also, in October, a package of 5 ink cartridges was thrown down in the freezing weather. I couldn't find the package until 2 days after delivery. When I tried to use my printer with the new ink, I thought my printer didn't work, so I purchased another printer, to discover it was the ink ruined, and too late to return the ink cartridges. It was very expensive. I wasn't notified until too late to make a difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP: Still Bending Us Over on Ink Is anyone else tired of being violated by HP-- for decades now! -- when buying ink? The price never comes down despite the "economy of scale" in ink manufacturing. For an "inventive" technology company, HP can't seen to "invent" a way to wean themselves from extortionist ink pricing.

I would not have tried the free trial if I knew you would brink $125 worth of ink. The print ink model was already a scam, now itis criminal. I will tell everyone that I can tell.
