In view of the covid-19 and all the worries that came with it, I neglected to buy back-up ink cartridges for my printer. And I was doing some final preps for filing my taxes, about to print my final papers, when I realized my ink cartridges were empty, and I had no back ups. Serious Scanning Issues
I have had a number of HP printer/scanners in the past with no issues, I bought this model 7740 for the scanning features (specifically, double sided scanning). I was extremely
disappointed in results using the document feeder. Each copy was misaligned with lines of text that were distorted. Tried several times with same result. See attached photo which is representative of every feeder scan attempted so far..

The ink printed less than half advertised - new cartridges contain the second most valuable commodity on the planet. Two cartridges cost more than the printer. The last two HP printers I owned just quit printing Black ink even with new cartridges direct from HP. If that happens again, it will be the last HP printer I buy.

Great Toner, but Expensive
I've always preferred and relied on HP toner for my HP printer, I feel it works best with my printer and last a long time. However, It is starting to get pretty expensive and although I one purchase once or maybe twice a year, I wish there were more coupons or "sales" for this product.

After all, I am just rating an HP cartridge to put in a HP printer, so basically it works as it should and I prefer XL because the cartridges last longer. I think ink cartridges are too expensive but to get the HP quality, I don’t have much choice.

I love buying the XL ink when it is on sale , because I feel that I am getting more for my buck. The color comes out on the paper so authentic looking. It helps my Documents look so much clearer.Plus when I order from HP I have had my ink already the very next day. So I like that feature that my ink could be here within 2 days.

Way over priced, sorry I bought the printer
I had a great 10 year old HP printer. Worked great, reasonably priced ink. But they stopped making the ink cartridges. Bought a new HP printer, and found out that an ink cartridge holds about 2 drops of ink, and costs nearly as much as a 2019 BMW M8 Coupe. Looking for a new printer now.

This is the only HP ink that works for this printer and I firmly believe genuine HP ink is always the way to go. Aside from being captive purchaser the cartridge is VERY easy to change and the colors are generally very true for both print and photo.

I have always purchased HP Ink with my HP printers. I have two. Most of the time it comes in 2 days. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because when the printer says I need to replace a cartridge it still seems to show quite a bit of ink that I could use. It doesn't show empty, however the printer quits printing so I guess it is.

Ordered new ink on-line, as printer notified me cartridge was low. I preferred to avoid driving to a retail store for this product, and its all-black companion. The on-line service was not complicated, and all went as expected. I believe that there should be a price break and other incentives for making the purchase on-line.

We just installed the color cartridges that we received. Based on past performance, we expect many beautiful prints from these cartridges as well. That's definitely not what we got from the plain 64 tri-color cartridge that we were forced to buy, when we couldn't find any 64 XL cartridges pretty much anywhere in the Denver area, and ended up ordering 64 XL directly from you. We got fewer than two dozen true color images from it before it pretty much turned out green. How disappointed we were at that! We expected much more than that from an HP product. We look forward to much better results from these 64 XL ones.

My HP printer recommends using HP only replacement ink cartridges for it's product, or otherwise risk loosing warranty coverage for one's printer. The ink product delivers excellent print results so there shoul

So far, so good, Printer has great features.
I'm still adjusting to the new printer features, so can't give a perfectly accurate writing here. But, the printer appears to be fine though I haven't used all the tools and features of it yet.
My concern is that I haven't received my 3 year warranty document from HP yet. The warranty was in the purchased cost of the Envy Photo Printer 7855. I've received a couple of updates, but when checking printer information it say this printer is no long in warranty, which is in error. I must get this corrected, and my purchased receipt is proof of warranty. If you can attend to this, I'd appreciate you doing so. If not, I attend to it soon.

Very natural colors for our photos

I bought both the color and black Xl, I needed to print pictures for my family for Christmas.And I was really disappointed after printing about Ten 8x10 and a few 5x7 my color ink was running low. I really don’t think XL makes much of a difference.Its way cheaper to buy prints then it’d to do it yourself..

I switched from the regular 64 to 64XL, and glad that I made that decision as the ink lasts much longer. It is certainly more expensive but in the long run less frustrating to not have to constantly order ink. This particular order took longer to receive than normal. Regarding this survey, it would be better if HP were to add a feature for users to add PRO's and CON's rather than the ones that they have offered.

very happy I love the XL toner. Don't have to replace as often. I love my HP Envy Photo 7155. Please don't stop making toner for this printer like you did with some of my other printers. I love HP printers and that is all I own. I had the HP PhotoSmart printer that I loved the best and it was still working but couldn't get the toner for it and I lost it in the Hurricane in 2018. That was the best for printing only photos.

Unhappy with High Yield Cartridge
Bought a set of the HP 64XL High Yield sizes with both the black and tri-color. Black cartridge worked excellent as usual. Tri-color cartridge would not work at all. Had to buy another regular size color cartridge in order to keep printing. Money down the drain. I would think that all HP cartridges should work perfectly in HP printers.

I have been asked in the past to review ink cartridges. To be honest, I didn't know where to start; it was like trying to write a review for a pencil…but here goes. I have no issues whatsoever regarding this product. Where is the warrenty?
My previous genuine cartridge had stopped working (said it wasnt installed correctly no matter what I did) even though it was reading mostly full. So i looked for a warranty... couldnt find one. And not wanting to buy a different printer I was forced to buy a replacement.

A bit frustrating...
It's a bit frustrating that with this 'Instant Ink' replacement program that I can't access my own printer until you send me cartridges. When I ran out of ink, I needed to print immediate documents so I went out and bought replacement cartridges. However, the printer wouldn't allow me to print until I received a new batch from Instant Ink.

Even on the economy setting this cartridge drains faster than I could have ever imagined. I printed 3 media kits of 15 pages each and the cartridge was empty. Pages included a variety of charts, text, and logos. The worst!

I'm being forced to buy this ink only because it has to be used in my Newer printer. It produces maybe 40-50 pages of bolor and then it's done. The companion black ink is excellent and lasts forever. At the price of this ink am forced to look at competitors products to replace what is becoming a very expensive situation.

For the first time ever, I had a problem with this ink When I installed it, It said please reinstall, so I did and it said the same thing I reinstalled the old cartridge and it installed perfectly, just out of ink. I have always used this ink and never had a problem. Normally I would recommend this product, don't know what happened.

I’ve been an HP customer for over 25 years. I’ve owned their laptops,laser printers and ink jets. I just purchased a new HP printer last month. I like to buy larger quantities of ink so as not to run out. This ink is very long lasting. I do think cartridge ink on a whole has become very expensive. The printers are becoming cheaper than the ink it takes to keep them going. Something wrong with that picture. But that’s my only complaint I will never leave HP!

I wanted to buy my cartridges directly from HP. I was disappointed that I paid as much or more than I do at Sam's (where I can walk in and purchase them and have them immediately). My biggest disappointment was the length of time it took for me to receive the cartridges. I became, literally, out of ink before I finally received the cartridges. From now on I will purchase them from somewhere OTHER THAN HP. Also, I purchased the XL and without running that many pages through on the new cartridge, the color ink was empty. I believe it was not filled to capacity and I paid entirely too much for such little use.

This was my first time to order from HP on line and it was a good experience. It was easy to find the right cartridge and check out was fast and uncomplicated. I bought this HP printer on ebay that was an open box product. When it arrived the box was dented and there were several small plastic chips in the box but the printer looked new. I started the setup process but the printer would not function. After repeated attempts I called HP solutions and was told the code displayed meant the printer had a hardware problem and to return it to the seller.

I’m not sure why I always go to hp online instead of a store but I find them very convenient. These cartridges are new to me as I bought a new printer. Their color seem so much more brilliant than the

I bought this amonth ago and i am so happy I did. i actually tried another brand and it was terrible. The photos come out so incredible with the combo of the HP printer and the HP ink.

This is the second time that I have had to replace a cartridge that is half full which means I am out $50 for unusable ink. Nothing I did would repair the lack of ink coming out of the cartridge. Last HP printer I willl be buying

Tri-color vs. Individual colors
The print quality is excellent. However, I prefer individual color cartridges over tri-color. I always run out of one color when the other two colors have plenty of ink left. Thus I have to replace a cartridge that is only one-third empty.

Wel, I tried going the discount cartridge rout to save a few bucks. Never again. It seems it is getting harder and harder to buy aftermarket cartridges that work. Yes, they are more money- as much as the printer costs! But they work. And you don’t have to deal with difficult returns. WhenI ordered the wrong ones HP replaced them with zero freight charges.

Excellent product but over prices
I am always used to purchasing and use brand name stuff and in this case did the same. Great product but overpriced. Competitors pricing is way down but I am not taking my chances because I know they do not stand behind their product and I do not want my hardware to be damages by generic stuff due to warranty issues.

It was had to find the 64XL tri color printer cartridges. Every place I looked was sold out. I'm not as happy with the 64XL cartridges as I have been with the previous cartridges that I was using. Not sure that I'm getting as many pages printed as advanced.

After I installed this cartridge, my printer wouldn't print at all. I think it probably had little to no ink in it. I called the phone # on your website but only got a recording. Not knowing what else I could do, I ordered another cheaper cartridge. When it came I installed it and it worked fine.

Best Multi-Function Printer I've Owned
I bought a new HP Envy Photo 7855 directly from HP when it was recently on sale. It was a good price, only $10 more than Costco, and I bought the extended warranty and signed up for the automatic ink program that best reflected my printing needs. I am absolutely thrilled with this printer. It replace my 8 year-old HP 7250 that finally died. I'm glad it died because it required five cartridges and, of course, none ever ran out of ink at the same time. So, I seemed to have a continuous inventory of cartridges. It was a nuisance.
The new 7855 has two cartridges, to my eyes, the color looks just as good for both documents and photos, and I don't have to ever worry about running out of ink. All this for just $5 a month. I love it!!

I am discontinuing the auto ink supply. I am paying over $60 a year to save $35 a year. This was a misguided program for me. I don't print that much. Now that I have quit, the left over ink from the program will stop working, so again I don't get value for my money. I don't recommend this program unless you really print reams of paper per month.

I love our new HP printer- photo envy. I love that I can print from my phone, it’s fast, sturdy and allows me to change paper types easily without fuss. I pr Me all for my home business. I haven’t had very good luck trying to print photos.. it’s been complicated and they’ve come out wrong. But I don’t know why I would want to print photos at home anyway. Easier to send them to Costco. It takes so much ink to print at home and the ink is Soo expensive. I am used to buying the “Arthur” discounted brand of ink on amazon for my previous printer which was awesome! So affordable! I could print everything at home! But I think because this printer and ink are so new, there isn’t a cheaper generic brand available yet.

barely used the printer more than 10 times and almost went through half a pack of paper because it constantly kept getting jammed even after putting in a new ink cartridge, customer service representative was horrible, didn’t speak english and offered to have a tech come and fix it for $149, when i paid $169 for the printer, how stupid can this company be, i plan on letting people know how horrible this product and customer service was through social media

I bought a new hp 7150 printer. The trial cartridges that came with it ran out of ink after about 10 pages. I understand that the “trial” cartridges have very little ink. Then I ordered the high-yield cartridges. My new printer informed me that they would print approximately 165 pages. After 45-50 pages the colors were completely wrong & the printer said it needed new cartridges! Big difference between 165 and 50 pages. Not happy at all!!

Needed a printer asap. Went to Staples, unfortunately because of the virus their stock was limited. This was the only hp available. My tech installed. I had a jam since then it's been nothing but trouble. It went offline, couldn't change it. I changed the ink cartridge since it was the originals, since then there's flashing given a 0E message? You get what you pay for.

"High Yield" is a relative term.
"Up to 415 pages" is a line in HP's online discription. Hmm, maybe if you're printing stick figures. If you're printing photos or color documents... Half, if you're lucky! The print quality was good, hence the average rating.

I Don't Know Yet
I bought this XL Ink at a reduced price (on sale through HP) as a ready replacement. Since I haven't used it yet I can't truthfully comment on its quality other than to say that other series of XL Inks for my other printers have been excellent.

My Satisfaction with High Yield Tri-color Original
If you print out pictures as often as I do you want a quality result with HP photocopy paper and HP Original Inks. Years ago I tried the " el cheapo " inks from WalMart and some other copycat discounts. They clogged my printer head, which you cannot clean, and must buy a new printer. Ever since then I have stayed with HP printers, computers, monitors, keypads, inks, and paper of all types. It is best said like " Hallmark ", " When You Care Enough to Send the Very Best ". " I Care enough to spend the very best and get what I pay for " Quality results, and money well spent.
