When we bought printer we were told the entire ink system was all one unit. To my surprise I found out separate units. Very easy to remove old snd put in new. The old ink jet was a horror show. I did have to do a bit of fiddling with IPad and printer and reseat it a couple times but finally got it to go.

It’s a toner cartridge, it just works unless it doesn’t and I would expect it to be replaced…mine worked and got
My printer going again, works like new again.
The packaging of the cartridge was what it was shipped in and it arrived very smashed, seems like very thin cardboard for shipping, I was surprised that it worked.

We purchased this toner cartridge on 7/7. Finally received on 7/21. As of yesterday - received a notification on the printer that toner was low. Should toner really only last 2 months? Seems quite odd to me.

Cartridge works fine . HP printer is not a good buy. Requires constant updates. I buy a printer, scanner to do the jobs I request not to be bothered by relentless update requests. I’m not able to scan docs to my pc. Brother products have been much better, but I bought what they had at Costco. Unfortunately If your reading this because you’re looking for a cartridge it’s too late for you.

HP 206A black toner cartridge
The online ordering process was very easy. Delivery was delayed due to shipping and personnel considerations during this pandemic but it finally arrived in good condition. I very much appreciated the communication from HP regarding the delivery delay. I think it all adds up to great customer service! The toner (black because I use that up faster for copying) is a backup for our color laser jet, which, by the way, gives great color fidelity.

Cartridge does not print cleanly - Defective
The cartridge does not print cleanly... leaves large streaks on color test page in the black section and anything I print in black. I know it's not my printer because I can put the old black toner cartridge back and this issue resolves. Now I inconveniently need to reach out to HP customer service to get this issue resolved. Quality of HP toner cartridges needs to be reviewed.

Works OK but some functions are slow
The quality of the scanned file is quite dependent on the lighting and what the background is. The colors are rarely true to the original There doesn’t seem to be an adjustment for a scan done outside vs one doing inside a building where the light source is white different.

nOT SO MUCH THE TONER AS THE THE PRINTER AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! My printer rejects HP toner every 6 weeks. Getting anyone on the phone is a joke and AI has its limits. I'll use up toner an then but a Canon. Oh and the printer was an HP refurbished without any warranty - nice

HP good brand for cartridges but not used it yet.
Hard to give a review on an item I have yet to use. I bought it as standby. Cartridges either work or they don't. Nothing in the middle. I shall say delivery was fast and efficient and free. My only issue is I don't get why these cartridges are sooooo expensive when cartridges for other HP Laserjet printers are cheaper. Which I knew that ahead of time before I bought my printer.
